Avatar Changes *updated 12:53pm*
Hey guys,

By now, you'll have noticed that there have been some changes made to the Avatar System. The changes include:

- More complex layering for headgear, face gear, eye gear, etc... (try it out!)
- Fixes to old bugs
- Support for removing different parts of the base model for fun items like mermaid tails and other cool stuff like that
- Addition of two new skin tones, which required a small cleanup of the base eyes(which will be in later this week)
- Emotions support, which lets you change your expression on your Avatar's mouth
- Support for new skin layers(for Tatoos)

With regards to the new Avatar mouths, you should be able to get the same mouth as any of the original options, with the exception of the male tooth grin and the girl's pink lips. These will come back once we start offering more mouth styles and makeup options.

As with all new changes, please expect some bugs. I am working as fast as I can to fix them as I go. As you can imagine, it's a lot of work.

*update 12:53 pm - Fixed a lot of the bugs reported yesterday as well as addressed a lot of preferences that I saw around the forums. Currently, working on Grombies stages a,b, and c, as I am updating the Grombie base models, they will get even worse glitches associated with them(i.e. missing limbs, etc) but when everything is updated, they'll go back to normal. Expect this to happen within the next couple of hours so don't worry. One note, a lot of the fixes to older items was to ensure consistency in the way avatar items are built onto an Avatar where they make sense. Some of the older combinations was a result of inconsistent data entry that made certain combinations work. When the fixes were put in place, some of these combos disappeared. While I am doing my best to preserve a lot of the combinations that were "accidentally" created, the reality of it is that some combos will be lost in the name of making sure items work all across the board for future expansion into games and other features. Your understanding is greatly appreciated.


*update 4:03pm - Still working as fast as I can fixing glitches as they appear. For all you zombie people, I will have a fix for that either late tonight or tomorrow. In terms of the eyes changing colors, apparently the way the eyes were saved before, the colors were mismatched and inconsistent, which would prove very messy if we try to offer contacts that correspond to ink colors. I had applied a fix that synced up all of the eye colors causing some of your eyes to change colors. Will address this later with "contact lenses" which you can use to get the old colors back. Please have patience in the meantime, there's still a lot to be done. Thanks!
