"Of course you can, babe," he whispered, kissing Rei's ear. He blinked, snapping out of it as he saw his crystal egg wobble under Martin's curiosity. "Um, be careful, okay? It's not priceless, but it has sentimental value."
((I keep getting distracted and staring at it whee xp .. which is one more signal that my brain has died.. this will probably be my last ic post for the night))

Content for the moment, he remained snuggled up against the teacher he loved. Yes...loved. He did love Jack...he wasn't sure when or where it had happened since they met...but he had fallen in love with him. He pursed his lips; now to get up the courage to tell him, that was an entirely different matter. Hence why he wanted to talk to him after class- he glanced up at the clock - which wasn't long at all.

Martin flinched and took his finger away, "Eheh, right." he rubbed the back of his head, and YET AGAIN, lowered it with a wince, "Oww.... still hurts damnit..." he sighed and looked at the two, "Are you two like... a pair?"

Sion ran up into Science class, which was his chemistry class. Looking to the teacher he bowed his head "Sorry I'm late." Sion of course wore the school uniform though the tank top of it didn't have straps it wrapped around his neck instead. Those eye's glanced around under the strands of his bangs before he spotted an open seat in the front. Smiling he walked over and sat down before placing his bag down and taking out his notebook and pen.

Lan looked up from his book with a blank look, then turned his gaze up towards the clock; the student was right. He was late.
He stood from the desk, grabbed a stack of papers, and began to pass them out among the students. "Good morning, students," he started, his voice quiet from his lack of using it. "This is your assigned science class. My name is Kenji Lan, but you will all refer to me as Mr. Lan."
He finished passing out the papers and then went up to the chalk board and cleanly wrote out his name. "The paper I just gave you is an introductary essay that will help your assigned teacher get to know you better." He turned and faced the students again. "And on that note, he is out sick today. I'm simply subbing for him."

Tohei continued to tread water. It had been so long, now...His legs were moving mechanically, along with his arms. His fear kept him from attempting to swim to the side of the pool again, but it also kept him stuck in the deep end with no hope of being saved until Jack came back...

Rei sighed and walked down the basement hallway with his hands stuffed into his pant's pockets. It had been a little hard on him recently since Jack had found out about his heart condition. He was probably mad at him too, because he smoked.
Rei sighed and walked into the pool locker rooms, then through them into the pool area. When he saw Tohei treading the water, he walked over to the edge and leaned down.
"You okay?" He asked curiously. "Or do you need help?"

Taking the paper, he started to read it over, and before the teacher had told them to start working on it, he already was. It was a habbit for Sion. He didn't know why but when given the work his mind kicked and he was off as if playing one of his favorite sports. That was another reason, keep his grades up he could continue to be on the tennis team. Though he stopped near the end and looked up to Mr. Lan. "Who is our assigned teacher Mr. Lan?" he looked to him with that young face the end of his pen lightly tapping the paper.

"His name is Johnathon Rikua. He got called away on a family emergency." Lan told the curious student, who showed promise just by his initiave to work before told to.

Sion opened his notebook and in the left corner behind the cover he put the teacher's name down. Then going back to the sheet of paper he finished it and then capped his pen and smiled as he watched everyone else either finish or still work on it. Those eye's then looked to Mr. Lan and he smiled to him before patiently waiting for those to finish so to pass in the paper.

He had been here so long...at last....relief...Tohei sunk beneath the water, sinking to the very bottom, his eyes closing, and the air escaping his lips in forms of bubbles. His clothes didn't help either, dragging him down along with his shoes.

Lan raised his brows, then held his hand out towars Sion. "If you're done, you can turn it into me now. If you like." A lock of black hair fell across one his left dull-silver eye, the right still in view as he looked curiously at this promising student.
"Do you have any english and history classes on this year's schedule?"

Rei's eyes widened. "TOHEI!" He ripped off his shirt without hesitation, kicking off his shoes as quickly as possible. Then, he dove into the water, swimming swiftly to the bottom, his heart clenching in protest. His arms wrapped around Tohei and he pulled him tight against his chest, securely and caringly.
Kicking strongly and trying his hardest, his pulled Tohei towards the surface of the pool. He gently tossed him onto the edge out of the water, then grabbed the ladder. He weakly pulled himself out of the water, then dropped onto the ground, making sure if Tohei was still breathing. His heart was clenched and it caused his body to barely follow his mind's commands. "Tohei?"

Tohei lay on the floor next to the pool, a puddle of chlorine water forming around him. His chest did not rise and no air came from his mouth or nose. His eyes were closed, and he looked as though he was sleeping. It had been so long...such a long struggle....
