"Ok ... stairs of elevator?"
He smiled and typed in the code at the buildings main entrence and led beau into the reception room and saw another nvelope in his pigeon hole. But he couldnt get it now, or his cover would be blown and so he left it there and guided beau to the left to the elevator and pushed the call button
"So what were you doing at the police station?"

Beau glanced around the lobby quickly, the anxiety building a bubble in his gut. Ignore it....wasn't his number 604? He had mail, but he didn't seem interested in receiving it. Oh well, plenty of people ignored their mail. Especially when they were with someone else.
He glanced up, swallowing hard as he tried to think of a plausible reason for his presence there.
None came to him. "Well, you could say I help out. With cases and stuff." He finally replied, opting for a half-truth.

"OH one of the polices unoffical informents ... Ohhh dangerous buisness, you know, their the type of people the rose gets hired to kill you know"
He looked at the other
"But im sure your too good for that arnt you"
He smiled and pushed the button "6" on the lift panel and the doors closed with a ping as the box began to move slowly up the little panel showing the floor number as it rolled from 1 to 2 to 3 untill they got to floor six and the doors opened with another ping
"Well this is our stop"
He giggled and stepped out into the corridor

He chuckled softly at the reply. It was true. The thought of danger had entered his mind, but it didn't scare him. Many informants had backed out from helping the police, but Beau still did. He was pretty handy too. He'd helped the police solve near 12 cases just from the past 3 months.
He entered the elevator and they rode up in silence, a slight case of claustrophobia digging into his gut. Taking a deep breath and watching the numbers light up, the doors finally opened and he was out of the small space before the man even finished his sentence.

The rose blinked and smiled
"Dont like elevators? well ill walk down the stairs when you leave then"
He smiled warmly and walked down four doors and opened the door to his apartment, the walls of the narrow corridor and living room were papered with a dark purple wall paper, the floor was clear except for his shoes by the door.
"So whadda think?"

Beau stepped in and paused mid-step as his eyes widened to take in the enormity of it. He knew that higher up, the apartments were larger...but this...
As he admired it, he removed his jacket.
"I think my apartment could fit into your living room with space to share." He replied sarcastically.

The rose smiled and chuckled
"Yes well i was a well kept orphan, my parents had alot of money it seems, i mean i dont splash out much, but its my home, i wanted something nice, but not stupidly nice, i hate it when people throw their money in yoru face you know"
He smiled and hung the coat on the hook on the back of his door for easy access
"Ok so ... bathroom is second on the right in the hall way, the door near the kitchen counter is bedroom, the only door left is the study"
He smiled and walked into kitchen area and pulled a bottle of wine and can of beer from the fridge, and two glasses from the cabinet and took them through to the living area lopping down on the sofa and putting all four things on the coffee table
"COme sit sit"

Kei shook his head, being very serious this time. "I'm sorry Joey, I just don't really remember anything about him. It was early, I hadn't even had a cup of coffee yet..."

He turned a corner, and saw a park, he figured since it was still daylight he would be all right. He walked into the park, and looked around at all the people. He remembered when he was there with all of his friends last, but now they are all gone. He sighed and continued walking. He wondered why he didn't get a call from the police station yet. He came up on a bench and sat down and just looked around at all the people.
