"Oh you're on!" she said jumping up and already beginning to pad away, of course she waited for him to go too, but she was more then ready. She hated the rain, the way it made her fur look duller then normal, and the smells and sounds that came with it. So other then this being one of her favorite games it was also somethins she wanted to do. Get out of the rain.
So she sped off with lightening speed, slowing every so often for him, never wanting to be too far away from him.

*As he ran his pink fur shifted along with his body. What used to be her always nipping at his now, was now him nipping at her tail. Rushing, pushing his body faster and faster, Trying to keep up with her. She was beautiful, her coat sort of glowed, even though there was hardly any light coming fromt he sky. She ran with such fierce speed. There he was again nipping at her hind end before she would fly off agian just out of reach.*

Dia let a steady grin slip to her maw to stay. Even in this wretched place, where she KNEW things were glum, things were bad and they could only get worse. Well even in the midst of that she would find it herself to smile. Even if it was just a glimmer at times it was still something, and it seemed to take all the bad this place brought away. Even if it was just for the moment. At his nippings she would slow, just so much so that he could almost reach her, and then she would speed up again, giving a heavy bark as she did so.
"We'll see...." she called out, finding it within her to put on another burst of speed.

*Tanryoku barked a bit as he ran after her. She was gaining speed slowly leaving him behind. He smirked and yipped as if in pain and stopped suddenly keeping his eyes barely open.*

She skidded to a stop to turn around and see if anything was okay, but the time she was there was already at the place where she needed to be. All the same she turned and yapped at him, before hurrying back over.
"Are you okay?" she asked, concern laddled in her voice.

*Quickly he jumped up nipped at her muzzle and rushed off into the old cave yapping and laughing almost running itno the back wall. What used to seem so big now was kinda short and small. Barely enough room for two older wolves*
"I beat you. I beat you!"
*He chuckled and looked back at her*

"Ohhhhhhhh you!" She yapped, hurrying over right after him, too late to put on a burst of speed and beat him. Once inside she couldn't help but chuckle too and nuzzle into him. She sighed once and then looked around, "As sad as it is," she said quiety, studying what had been their home for so long, "I don't think I'll miss this place..."

*He looked around. He had been a pup here. He had lived here since he was young. Since his parents had.....Since the accident. He had been here all those years. Now it would be gone for good.*

She softened at that, her eyes showing compassion mixed with caring and love, all of it at once. And all of it for him. Dia had always been somewhat of a wondering soul yet this place had grounded her, maybe the wanderer in her was inherited into her by the family she never knew. Maybe it was because she was so desperate to break free. So in saying so she couldn't adequately emphathize with him, but she could sympathize.
"We'll find another home," she murmured, keeping her head bowed into his neck fur. "And we'll make more memories...better memories."

*He kept his eyes shut tightly as he seemed to be off in another place. He had heard her, but it was in his head now. Stirring around with a bunch of things. Things were so different now. There were so many new feelings. Things he couldn't explain. Opening his eyes he came out of his little world and placed his muzzle on the back of her neck.*
"Yes..............yes we will."

It seemed like eons since the time she had last spoken to when he did now, but once she heard his words it was as if it had all melted away. She smiled brightly, warmly. No more words needed to be said. They would make it. Together. Who knew where they would end up, only that whereever it was it would be just them and all the dark of the world couldn't touch them.

*Lifting up his muzzle, he looked out into the bright sky of the afternoon. He looked out at the sky, full of birds. Birds who soared free of fear, of gravity, and of all things lost. He let out a long howl. This was it. THis was the end. He would be taken away from his home again. But this time he would not be alone. He would start over, this time because he wanted too.*
"Lets go!"

At his howl, that one solitary howl she could feel it. Some old nature breaking away inside her counterpart and a newness awakening within him. It even gave her chills and she could feel a surge of excitement and energy course through her body.
"Okay!" she agreed happily, her tail wagging back and forth as if to some unknown tune.

She nodded, "Alright.."
She gave one final nuzzel before she turned and braced herself. This was big, and it was confusing and rather frigthening. Afterall, they had lived there for so long and she didn't know what else was out there.
But she wanted to go. And so with hope in her heart she began to pad along, the only direction she knew to go, was towards the sun. She would let the blessed life giver be her guide.
