I've been a fan of Blake for a while now, late 90s. I was tooling around Yahoo chats taking reccomendations for something good to read and some bird mentioned LKH, so I perused the library's catalog and found Blue Moon. After that, I joined the SFBC just so I could get them hardcover collections they have of Blake's Books with the Royo art. xd I've read up to Cerulean Sins (but only own up to Blue Moon) and I have to say my favorite characters are Edward, Olaf (I have a friend who reminds me of him... Which isn't a good thing. But then again, I wouldn't want to ask my friends who I remind them of, either), Gabriel & Nikolaos. Too bad the last two are dead... sad
I used to be a big fan of Richard, but like everyone else, I think he should go kill himself or something. You know, if it wouldn't kill the other two as well. There are just so many good characters out there, though... Jean~Claud (& Anita)'s vampires, Richard (& Anita)'s wolves, and Anita's leopards... Everyone's rather ace, even the folk you hate, the book specific cast. I'm a little dissapointed the last couple books were so "omgtehsexxx"ish. Don't get me wrong, it's good stuff and all, but sometimes too much of a good thing can be an ungood thing.
Anyway, I don't have any pets but I'd love a husky / german shepherd breed someday. I'm 24, unemployed and livin' in Denver. Names Jason, but no one calls me by it, it's too dominating to be called by that name. Most folk know me as J.

Hi everyone! My name is Elizabeth, but you can call me just about anything. I have so many nicknames, but bunnie seems to be the one that has stuck around for a long time. xp Anyways I'm 18 and just starting in college. My friends got me into the series last year in high school. I was borrowing the books from one of my friends untill I couldnt take not owning them anymore. I went out and bought the whole series. LOL! I just LOVE jean-claude. I'm really into vampires. Ever since i was little i've been studying up on strange things like that. *shruggs* Oh well! I'm happy someone made an anita blake guild!

Hi......hmmmmmmm........ I am Shadow and I am 14. I started reading the anita blakes about two years ago. I finished all of them in about a month and am getting kinda rusty on my facts. Um.... not much else to say. Oh and my mom introduced me to the books.

Well you can all see what my name is but for reitteration its beccafey. A friend of mine forst introduced me to the books but at the time I wasn't really into them, but then I read the first book of her second series and just had to read more, so I got her AB series from my friend and read the ones that had been out at the time over a two mouth period. Now me and my friend b***h and complain all the time over them. xp

I'm Chowder, i'm a sophmore at GCHS and i'm 16 years old. my sister had heard good revie abot the Anita Blake novels here on gaia and has got me hooked. i fifnished Bloody Bones just yesterday, and am currently reading Lunatic Cafe. these boooks are kick a** and i'm glad to have been invited to join this guild! ^-^

I'm Val. I'm 19 years old and I live in San Diego. I've been reading the series since Middle Scool I don't remember exactly how I got into them just that I did and I haven't looked back. My favorites are a tie between Bloody Bones (Serefina is one of the best villains ever!) and Obsidion Butterfly (...because Edward is my hero).

I'm Matt. I'm an 18 year old aspiring writer. I first got in to the Anita Blake books when (believe or not) my mother bought me 'Obsidian Butterfly'. I became addicted when it mentioned sex and didn't go into a lengthened edition of some sort of porno article. Laurell has taste in her writings. My favorite characters are Xavier (Bloody Bones), Edward, and always: Jean-Claude. I love to RP, and recently gave up a bunch of my friends on the Yahoo groups because I can't juggle Forums and Yahoo groups at one time.

Let's see..I'm Star~Nelia aka annoying person aka Ailen Rats. I have too many names to count. I start reading Anita Blake books about a year ago and I found that they are completely wunderfully addicting. I really admire LKH's writting style. I have 17 goldfish, and a turtle that eats only meat...no veggies. He's quite strange. I love books and I am really interested in faery lore. xd

Hello, im new to this guild but the books are sublime. i actually got hooked after reading narcussis in chains. then i went back to the begining i find it very interesting the amount of occult lore thats mixed in to the excelt stories and character development

My name is Carissa and I'm 22. My friend's mother got me hooked on Anita Blake when I was in highschool in the late 90s. But when I moved to college I was so busy I forgot about them (I had never actually bought one of them cause she would borrow them to me whenever I wanted).
Not too long ago I was reconnected with the Blake series and realized I was far behind. I bought the first 5 right away to reread my old favorites, but have been too poor to afford anything newer than that.... scream
I bet you all can guess what's on my Christmas list this year though. biggrin
Anyways, I love these books so much, It's so nice to finally find other people to talk to about them. Hopefully I'll be able to catch up to the rest of you all over Christmas break. biggrin I've been getting antsy to read them but they don't even have them in our town's library! crying

bonjour. I'm Lis and I've been into the Anita Blake series for only about a year >.<. My friend told me about them and all I can say is wow. I love them. You can get so into it. I've fallen behind again on the books. I'm poor and so I don't own them. I will some day. It's like a necessity now.

Hello, I am the newest member here. Or so I think. I am 17, and started reading the Anita Blake series about a year ago. I am up to Obssidiean Butterfly. My favorite character as of right now is Nathaniel. He reminds me of Duo Maxwell in a way. A friend of mine introduced me to Anita Blake and I want to also read the Merry Gentry series.

Hey everyone. I'm CherryMinx. Obviously.
In addition to my secret life as a CIA agent, I am also addicted to the Anita Blake novels. I'd have to say my favorite characters, besides Anita herself, is Jean Claude, Nathaniel, and Edward.
I live with my three rats (ratFink, Dimitri, and Kramer), my boyfriend Dr. D, and my teddy bear Edward. *grins* I'm in a hellhole commonly referred to as "Lincoln, Nebraska" I'm 22 years old, though I alternate between feeling 10 and 60.
My mother and Aunt Vicki introduced me to Laurell K. Hamilton, via "Kiss of Shadows". Gods, I love that book. Anyway. I consumed every Hamilton book I could get my grubby hands on within 3 months. This was about 4 years ago.
