Seeing the leaf wiggle, Shouko began to worry. "Hey, are you al-right?"
"Seems to work well," Kat smiled, thinking of Shou when she was still a leaf, "Naw, I think she was pretty active. Not as much wiggling, though, but still emitted a lot of emotions."

Teagan sensed how his movement made her uneasy, stopping abruptly, though a little concerned with what he had done.
She nodded, "Yeah, I suppose it does. So you think it varies for each?"

Now Shouko began to worry even more. Was he afraid of her? "Are.are you." She didn't finish, not knowing the appropriate words. "Are you.afraid?"
Kat smiled at Ul, trying to reassure her. "Each Eden is different. I don't think you should worry too much, it probably doesn't mean too much."

She nodded, "You're probably right."
He was still for a moment, unsure of how he could answer the question, then he started to rock back and forth in the soil, using up much of his energy to try and tell her what he felt.

"There's no 'probably' in this, Ul. I am right." Kat grinned teasingly and wagged her eyebrows. "You might as well admit my superiority."
Watching Teagan rock, Shouko felt that he was not afraid of her. Unfortunately, besides that, the only thing forthcoming was the feeling of his energy draining. Brushing her hand gently against him, she tried to tell him without words that she understood. And yet again, a flowery smell seemed to emit from her, enveloping them and trying to calm him.

She stuck her tongue out, her arms held out behind her. "Hail the Auntie that knows more than I" she said, a bit of a sarcastic tone in her voice.
He fell still again, the scent making him think she understood.

"That's the spirit, darling! I do know more than you." Kat smiled, happy to be joking around with her friend.
Smiling as he settled down, Shouko voiced her thoughts. "Will you mind I sing?"

She set her hand on her chest, trying not to burst out laughing, "Of course you do!"
He remained still, thinking maybe she would consider it a yes.

"Well, naturally. I was born more clever than you!" Kat grinned.
Was that a no? It didn't seem very positive to Shouko.

She looked around for a moment, forgetting where Shouko had taken Teagan, "Hey, where are they?"
He wriggled a bit, still deep in the soil, confused as to what he should do.

"Umm. Somewhere in the garden, I think. Knowing Shouko, they're probably looking at flowers or something." Kat looked a bit uncertain, but knew that Shouko was able to take care of Teagan and herself.
Sensing Teagan's confusion, as it had been pretty obvious with all the unknown emitting, Shouko decided to take a chance. "Tell me if you no like." And she began to sing again.

He fell still again, starting to go back to sleep, after all, he had used up a lot of his energy wriggling.

"I trust Shouko. And with the way the Leaves emit emotions, I think we'd know if they weren't." Kat smiled at Ul, yet again trying to be reassuring.
She seemed to have some kind of weird bond with him, she noted. She was able to pick up on his emotions pretty quickly, which she found unusual and stored in the back of her. After all, it was probably because she considered him family of a kind.
Concentrating on conveying her affection, the smell changed perceptably, becoming sweeter, as well as the song.
((No, she doesn't have a crush on him, she just likes him.))

"Yeah, you're right. I just worry." She smiled, trying to cover her concern.
He shivered once again, though this time it was more like the cooing motion he had made the day before.

"Don't. Teagan doesn't seem to think they're in any kind of danger, and I doubt there is something that could hurt them on the grounds." Kat frowned.
Smiling, feeling that her song was appreciated, Shouko continued.
