State of Emergency - A Sonic The Hedgehog RPTHIS IS A LITERATE RP GUILD!!! IF YOU CAN'T TYPE AT LEAST TWO PARAGRAPH POSTS ON AVERAGE, DONT BOTHER JOINING! ONE-LINERS WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!Thank You. Our story starts off in the SEGA Sonic universe about 3 ½ years after Sonic Adventure (yes, that means no Shadow, sorry). With one exeption, eggman is the only human in our game. other than him its all furries The Story Thus Far…. After his humiliating defeat at the hands of sonic the hedgehog and his own minion, Chaos, Dr. Eggman changed his game plan a little bit. Instead of announcing his plans to the entire world, he worked in secret and was able to collect all seven Chaos Emeralds and used them to create the greatest offensive weapon of all time, the Egg Deleter. This weapon has the ability to destroy any single area approximately 10 miles wide with each shot. The Deleter not only destroys the area, it uses the Chaos energy to split every molecule in the area into individual atoms and transports those atoms into interdimensional space, utterly destroying every thing. Luckily for us, Eggman is more interested in power than destruction, so he decided to give civilization an ultimatum. Give him ultimate power within 10 days or suffer the consequences. Sonic, you might guess, was not too fond of this set-up. Him and his friends, Tails, Knuckles, and , Amy, set out to stop this catastrophe from happening. They were indeed successful in temporarily disabling the Deleter but at the ultimate price. None of the group have been seen since. They are presumed Killed In Action. So, where does that leave us? Well, the government, finally convinced that eggman is a true threat have begun putting together a new team of heros, one that they hope can succeed where Sonic & co. failed. Eggman, on the other hand, has begun work repairing the Egg Deleter and amassing an elite task force of his followers to combat the government. What side will you fall on? Good? Bad? Ugly? The world of Gaia is filled with the strange and wonderful, the dramatic and exciting, the mysterious and foreboding. In a world such as this, where machines and magic collide, there is a need for order. The Watch is that order... ...a military police force selected from the best the Gaian Army and National Guard has to offer. Since 2003, these stalwart individuals have fought to defend Gaia, valiantly putting their lives on the line for you. Now gathered under the sigil of The Watch, these paramilitary peacekeepers patrol the streets of Gaia, warding off what evils they encounter. Who We Are The Watch's members are those who care about Gaia. We are semi-literate to literate RPers who enjoy themes with combat, such as magical girl, mecha, or modern military. We are in it for the story, and respect other roleplayers and their rights. What Makes The Watch Different? There are dozens of military RPs out there. Plenty of magical girl ones, ninja schools...let's not even go there. So why The Watch? The Watch is different. We have no dedicated RP thread to call our own. Each Watch member is on patrol, ensuring the IC and OOC safety of each thread that signs up with us. Reports are submitted and stored in The Watch's central database, a registered guild built to store our information. No sitting around in the mess hall polishing guns. Our entire theme is patrolling, keeping active, and protecting our threads while enforcing the law. We're thematically somewhere between the military (Gaian National Guard) and the police (GPD). Paramilitary, if you will. And it goes beyond that. Our utility belts do more than hold up our pants and give us a nice place to holster our sidearm. They serve as the magical equivalent of a bulletproof vest, because we're dealing with Gaian Mainstream here. Mecha, magic, psychic powers, and grenade launchers. I'll keep it short and to-the-point, for now. Shattered Realms is a multi-genre, literate role-play guild dedicated to providing original content! We also hold events and quests where you'll have a chance to win gold and/or prizes, some of which are OOC and some of which are tied to major plots in a RP! Shattered Realms is also very member-oriented. I do my best to provide the experience that the members want. Suggestions and criticism are always taken into serious consideration. Hey Guys! I'm re-starting a favorite RP of mine...called Mental.
It basically takes place in an odd sort of mental hospital, one home to things you'd never expect. These disorders are nothing compared to even the most volatile human disorders. Oh, yes...these are nothing close to "human".
After some review, I've re-tweaked some of my plans for this re-birth.
If you are interested in a very complex, interactive RP, please PM me. I'll be on Gaia for a while, and trust me, I know what I'm doing. I'm personally just not interested in the use of flashy graphics to get your attention.
By the way, please be a thinker. I'm not spelling anything out for anyone this time ^_^.

Things to know:
You may have to get creative.
Characters in this game, especially in the lower levels of this complex building, will find themselves in tough situations at every turn. This is the nature of this colossus - the Subania Contamination Institute for Magicks and other Deformities. Thinking on your toes, and asking questions will score you some major points.
Romance is allowed.
I full-on support char-to-char interaction. Though that may not be the basis of this game, it could definitely spark a little chivalry around here...and who knows, maybe you just might need that.
Magic isn't uncommon.
Most of you will learn "spells" as you go. You can use these in many ways, and don't forget to utilize every one. For instance, a single "ice" spell may be all you need to defuse a hand grenade or even lock a door shut.
Choose your own destiny.
There are literally hundreds of factions at your fingertips, both inside Subania and in the outside world. There are also pros and cons to everything. Alliances can be formed, and lives can be taken. Everything is up to you.
Don't forget to ask questions.
As the GM, I know everything about this RP - from maps to characters. If you think you have a question I can answer without spoiling the game, please do so. You may come to ask me more often than you think.
Okay, but what exactly is going on?
Everyone will have different information availiable to them, and I also do hope that no one "eavesdrops". That is to say, please don't use info that you see elsewhere that your character is "not supposed to have". It ruins the game for everyone. Anyways. I can tell you that you are all subjects of extremely strange experiments in a submerged, hellish tower called Subania Contamination Institute. The contamination? You, and others like you. What your personal goal may be will differ from everyone else's. But I should think you may want to first start with finding your identity...

Hi everyone! If you are looking for an interesting RP, I suggest you check out "If Dragons Were Real: Searching for Darkness." Its basically set in today's world, only Dragons are real and part of everyday life. The plot line will center around things called Dragon Horns. There are only a few of them left in the world, and the person who drinks them will become, in essence, connected with a certain dragon. I am not the best at describing it, because it has just started out! (As of this moment, the only RP post would be my own....)  Hi there! I'm trying to promote and recruit members to a guild that I'm setting up. Pretty much, it's a roleplay guild for literate members . . . with a twist.
The guilds forums aren't split up like usual RPs. Where some RPs seperate their threads into genres, such as fantasy or adventure, Eternity Roleplay sets up it's thread via authors.
Each thread, as many of you know, costs 2500g. People who have been accepted into the guild may send in an application if they want to become an author. Once the application has been approved, the author can purchase a thread for 2500g by donating to the guild. Once that is done, the author can set up their own thread.
The guild also has directories for authors and roleplayers so that authors can search for RPers that they want to join their RPs or vice versa. Not only this, but Authors can post wanted ads when looking for users for their RP's.
The guild is built around efficiency for both RP writers and RPers alike. Of course, you can easily be both. blaugh
