~As Azure finished his statement, the spy let out a loud grunt which was followed by a stream of blood leaving his mouth. Azure had raised an eyebrow at this gesture as he had come to realize the obvious. He had bitten off his own tongue to keep himself from giving in to whatever hellish torture they could conjure up. Azure, noticably upset by this action, plunged his hand into the spy's rib cage, breaking three of his bones int he process, and ripped his lung out through the open wound. He then placed it in the hand of the spy, and made sure this was the last thing he felt before passing on to the underworld. As he stood, and licked the blood from his hand, the voice of one of his suboordinates had taken over his sense of sound.~
He was an assassin from Tel'Sindavathar. One of their grunts to be exact.

~Azure only looked at his suboordinate as he made his comment. He was familiar with the Tel'Sindavathar but he never expected that he would fall under their survelliance.~
What do you know of them, Nahota? How long have they been watching us?

"However long they have been watching us does not change the fact that the enemy is taking a more active role in defining ally from enemy...it can be deduced that they are preparing for a definite strike. But without knowledge of their motive it will be near impossible to predict the target they intend to attack." Issildia commented in a flat unreadable tone.

~Nahota only looked at the two of them as he stood from his position on the wall. His scythe attached to his holster, he slwoly walked over to his comrade and explained his reasons for being here.~
It is impossible to determine just how long they've been watching us, but this one in particular, I found him luring about the walls of our keep. Obviously he followed one of the messengers back to our HQ. I've been trailing him since. When he arrived here, I decided to let you handle him. In any case, he will not be able to report to his superiors. Kuroha has gone to investigate their village in Natori. So you needn't concern yourself too much with these minor details. Just focus on your mission and leave the rest to us.

~Azure only listened once his brother spoke to him. He was relieved to hear that the situation was indeed under control. He nodded to Nahota, before turning back to Issildia.~
I am certain that by the time we arrive, the city will already be under the control of the Infinitus. If they are looking to expand their influence, they will offer a period of negotiation to convert the people to their cause. Even for a group of their calibur, this will take some time. I suggest we leave as soon as possible if we hope to drive them out.

"Agreed." Issildia replied somberly as she sheathed her weapon. It seemed that the enemy was growing bolder by every moment; little time remained before their true purpose was revealed.
"I will go and speak with Lord Valkari and make arrangements concerning the others that intend to go...We can leave within the hour." She said while looking briefly at them before her form faded from sight in a subtle flicker of shadow.

~Azure only looked back at the corpse of the spy that had been dispatched to the location of the Council meeting. He did not seem fond of the idea of his home being defiled by the footsteps of his enemies. As he turned to walk away from the group, he became more concerned about his clan members. The enemy had not been identified, and there was no time to waste. Preferring to travel alone, he started off ahead of the group, seemingly heading Northeast toward the borders of Natori. Whatever he was planning, he needed no explaination for his actions.~

"Lord Vakari?"
Satinka made a face. Her eyes stared at nothing in particular as she concentrated.
"At least we'll be leaving soon. That was one lengthy conversation, even if I did only get one side of it."
She looked over at Ashrem.
"What? Like you wouldn't eavesdrop every once in a while if you had my powers."

"Actually I wouldn't.... I trust Issildia to let me know all the information necessary to the assignment.... anything else is unnecessary and only complicates matters..."
He sighed and looked up at the sky.
"However it is a good thing that we shall be leaving soon... I've been feeling much to idle and actually doing something will help with that.

Satinka listened to him and murmured something barely audiable, something about devotion.
"Yeah, I guess you would feel that way. It's a higher path than the one I usually choose. Eh, to each his own."
She stretched her arms out in front of her, balling her fists and then releasing them with faint 'pop' sounds being heard.
"Tell me something, Ashrem. Do you ever feel that the world is just too small? That even if you had everything, it wouldn't add up to satisfaction?"

Issildia stoically strode out of the citadel after alerting the leader of the council to the fact that the group would be departing shortly. Already it seemed that the other clan leaders were preparing to leave at the gates, but before departing as well Issildia happened upon Ashrem and Satinka.
As she approached her eyes remained elusive, declining any contact with her two fellow clansmen until she stood before them. She glanced darkly at Satinka briefly before addressing them as a group.
"Next time you care to eavesdrop on my thoughts or the minds of my comrades...exercise a bit more finesse and at least attempt to remain unnoticed...Should it happen again Satinka, I doubt your consciousness will have a vessel to return to." Issildia stated, the threat apparent in her tone.
"Nazuren or not...the mind is our last sanctuary, and should not be intruded upon, unless absolutely necessary." With that she ended the subject and turned to the matter at hand, neglecting to spare the nazuren a second glance.
"We are leaving to intercept the Infinitus at Celeste, once we arrive we shall capture and detain all parties involved...from there extract any and all information...All relevant information should be reported to me immediately." Pausing briefly she glanced at the surrounding citizens of the desert city in a subtle manner. "We shall also anticipate that the information we have already been supplied with has been fabricated...leave nothing to chance..." Looking at Satinka she continued. "Already you may know that there is a chance that a Ryera may be involved...you both know what this may imply...so I doubt I need to elaborate on the matter."

"no, the're shall be no need Issildia..."
Ashrem said with a bow. A small smirck had formed on his face after Issildia berated Satinka for her eavesdropping. Smileing he made his way next to her and wisperd.
"I belive I told you about how it only complicates things...."

She nodded in response to the Ryera comment and leaned in to whisper back to Ashrem.
"Yeah, you did. Issildia is Issildia reguardless of the passage of time; I would expect nothing less from her. You know my self-destructive habits."
Satinka lifted her voice now so that the clan leader may hear her as well.
"Understood. Since this is a timed matter, I presume we shall be working under the 'Interrogate, Dominate, Slaughter' method?"
"Extract any and all information......leave nothing to chance"
The words echoed in her mind and Satinka's eyes glittered a bit, under these circumstances, they just might get the permission this time. It was Satinka's favorite method.

"Should the situation call for it...you may use any methods you prefer to procure information." Issildia responded, knowing well that those words were exactly what Satinka wanted to hear. Pausing briefly she then continued on, glancing at the citadel...
"Whether Lord Valkari condones it or not...the Iliriya shall be working outside the main group that is traveling to Celeste. We shall move at our own pace and wait for no one...once we reach Celeste, Kyrion will be returning with information concerning the Infinitus...perhaps by then we will understand who we are up against..."
Stepping back from the two Issildia returned her gaze to them once more.
"Well are to rendezvous at Celeste once departing from this city...The sooner you can leave, the better... Dismissed." She concluded before turning to leave, quickly dissapearing into a narrow alley between two sandstone buildings. Almost immediately an ebony feathered falcon with gray banded wings leapt into the sky from within the depths of the alley, taking to the sky and disappearing over the walls over the desert city.
(Ashen Blade Ryera/Ithelri Saga Spoiler >_< Ignorance is Bliss...Read on at your own risk. xd )
Not may knew of Issildia's most carefully guarded secret. That many centuries ago before she even set foot in Narvinye she had been forced to take part in a gruesome sacrifice that stole her own life from her and merited in the destruction of the Veil; a realm created by an ancient race known as the Avariera, to act as a barrier between the realms of Life and Death...Thus preserving the natural order of the world. That is until the Ryera decided to reverse the function of an artifact known as the Ithelri (Denian Key) and destroy the Veil, meriting in the merging of the Realms of Life and Death. Though unbeknownst to the Ryera, the Avariera anticipated this possibility and created a safe guard to ensure that such dark work could be undone. For only the blood of one who carried within them the separate entities of darkness and light could set into motion the destruction of the Veil. Yet even so only one of Avariera blood could recreate the Veil should the worst some to pass. Thus, as Issildia's first life was brought to an end by the Ryera...and the Veil destroyed...She was reborn again, though not as an Anierian Celtarie half-blood but as the first Avariera to walk the earth in over seven millennia, and through this transformation she was able to restore the Veil and forever bind the Realm of the Dead to it's rightful place once again. Yet this was not the only effect that this event created, for Issildia was not only granted both the memories of the fallen race and the Avariera's abilities to manipulate the elements to an unparalleled extent. But she could now shape shift to any form that she choose, due to the Avariera's close link with the natural world. Ashrem and Satinka were two of the few that knew of this information, whether by mistake or not, they knew that Issildia was not the half-blood that she claimed to be. Though Issildia's reasons for keeping this information a secret to others was still quite the enigma.

~Nahota had disappeared just as quickly as he had come. His destination was unknown but it could be assumed that without orders, he would return to the Matanuska's stronghold in Enathtai. He was just as elusive as his brother, choosing to travel alone than in groups. He did not know just how deep this battle would effect their cause, but he was certain that his brothers would return with favorable information.~
