She-Sheperd [-Sarralyn-] Please don't let this turn into something it's not . . .
[True Story]
...when you are at a restauraunt trying to explain to a friend (who has never seen Grey's Anatomy) who McDreamy is, so you whip out your handy dandy iPod video, quickly push a few buttons to get your dreamy-est McDreamy photo, and show it to your friend as you a waitress is walking by. The waitress keeps going for a few more steps, stops, and backtracks towards your table, saying: "I saw McDreamy!"
I can only give you everything I've got. . . Please don't let this turn into something it's not . . .
Yeah, I know. I don't think I've ever laughed that hard in an Applebees.

When you cry at the episode where Gorge's dad dies.
When you refuse to let any other family member watch tv before Grey's Anatomy comes on.
When you constantly talk about it with your friends.
When you actually think that there really is a Mc Dreamy or a Seattle Grace.

When the nurses at the hospital where your mom works changes uniform colors, and you refer to them as 'intern blue', because they're the exact shade of the Grey's interns scrubs.
Also when you refer to your mom as a surgical intern in the aforementioned scrubs and she rolls her eyes at you because she's a nurse and thinks that interns and doctors in general are annoying and full of themselves because they went through med school and treat nurses like crap.
(Like Alex when he was first introduced and he was being mean to the nurses, and my mom was all "Oooooooooh... he's one of THOSE doctors... stare )

True things:
~When you laugh a little because your professor is technically Dr. Shepard, even though he's a history professor.
~When you laugh a little because you say things like "for the next two years I'm going to be Dr. Shepard's B*tch!" because he's the history professor of the history you like.
~When you consider pre-med and the pre-med advisor is Dr. Stevens, it makes you laugh even more.
~It makes you sad when Dr. Shepard is nothing like McDreamy, and Dr. Stevens is an old man.
~You talk about Grey's to people who have no idea what you are talking about.
~You walk into class on Friday morning and if you're not looking happy the professor asks you"ok, what went wrong on Grey's?" knowing thats whats made you sad.
~When you text message your friend about Grey's, even though she just started watching the episode.
~When you get people who have never seen the show going "seriously? serioulsy" with you.

when you have to go to the hospital and you hear the doctors saying "you should never say the ER is 'quiet'." and somehow you are reminded of dead baby race day.....
this happened to me today, too random~! they are really superstitious i guess about not commenting when things are slow in the ER... and then when a new nurse said it was they all acted like she'd jinxed them

-when you find out all the music you listen to has been on at least one or two episodes of GA (thanks Paste magazine!) and you keep finding more
-when you make a GA playlist on iTunes (I'm up to 24 songs!)
-when the only reason to miss GA is to go see your favourite movie (Casino Royale) at the library for free
-when it helps you understand what you're learning in Anatomy class
-when neuroscience becomes cool (half-McDreamy, half-Anatomy) from watching the show (I get to see a brain dissection tomorrow on a field trip!)
-when CNN does a real-life version of GA called Grady's Anatomy and you're totally psyched

When your yelling at your friends for not liking the show.
When you see every single episode from both seasons in row.
When you dont know what the word means on your language(if you come from perhaps Norway)
when you know what your doctor is talking about.
When you automaticly spell the word dog doc. ive actually done that.

Ms.Tadakichi ...when your dream is to dream of becoming a surgeon even though you suck at all the sciences and are squeamish around blood That's so me, even though I feel like puking around blood, Christina and Bailey make me want to be a surgeon.
