Oh man, that's hilarious. People report everybody for that. They're never willing to take responsibility for their own actions. Peppermint: No, I have to check first, but I do usually roll my eyes since it usually means the samething each time. At least Shouj usually gives the person something unlike most of the others who just fill out harassment reports.

So last time I showed you all a fake report with lots of bullshit items. Well, the sad thing is that hack reports are often reports of an actual hacking except that the item list they give us is pure bullshit because they figure we aren't going to bother looking and will just give them everything they ask for (sort of like the last one). Well, there's also another thing users often lie about and that's the date of occurance. Take for example this one. Quote: When did this occur: last year sometime Now, after the initial "you have got to be shitting me" thought, I'll go open up the logs and take a look. Here is an omni rule of thumb. When a user mentions a date and it occured over a month ago, the date is wrong. If they say it occured a month ago they really mean a week or two. If they say two or more months, they really mean about a month, maybe three weeks, somewhere in that time frame. If they say a year ago, they really mean a month or two. If they say 2003, they're idiots and need to be shot. Case in point? This instance of hacking did not occur last year, no, in fact, it occured less then two months prior to this reporting.
