Seriously, you should be proud of your sexuality.. yes people like to say it's not normal but really, if it wasn't normal why is it that it exsist? Everything happens for a reason and everyone is here for a reason. I'm proud of my sexuality and even though I have to put up with crap with people who don't like it I still stand proud and go on. Yeah it does get depressing and I do doubt it sometimes but I'm happy with the way I am so why should I not be proud of something that makes me happy? If dumping my girlfriend means making everyone happy then.. they can go screw themselves 'cause I'm done doing what makes everyone happy. I'm done with that crap.

Most think its wrong because of the teachings in the bible.
I wouldn't try to disgrace it but there are somethings in there I don't believe...

I'm proud of my sexuality, but I don't rub it in other people's faces... I mean, no matter what the sexuality is, people tend to not like to see or think or know about what some stranger is doing in the bedroom. Perverts excepted.
I mean, I have friends who would get pissed off if they stumbled across a gay parade, but they'd get just as pissed if they stumbled across a straight one... They just don't want to know.

no i dont think its a problem until u start bringing other people into it, always ask first other wise ur just being a jerk but dont doubt ur self because of what other people say always be proud to be who u are or what u want to be and thats all anyone should ever ask of u wink

Be proud! I'm a lesbian, and I'm damn proud of it!!! No one, and I mean no one should make you feel ashamed. I learned my lesson on that. Don't let anyone get to you about your sexuality. It's yours, and they've got no say in it. You are who you are, and if someone can't accept you, then they're not worth anything to you. smile heart

I see a few people have made referance about the Bible or God. I'm not saying any of its teachings are wrong, as I am a fairly firm believer. But no one is perfect, everyone sins. If people were told they would go straight to hell, no exceptions, when they died for drinking, smoking, having sex, getting an abortion, swearing, ect. we'd all be on a straight track to hell. But there is ways around everything. I'm bi, and no I can't help it now. I've choose to admit. The truth is, I'm no less a believer in God than the people I know who are straight. I can't help it if my brain is different from theirs. Honestly, it would be like telling them their going to hell if the bible said being straight was a sin!
So being Gay or Bi should have nothing to do with what you believe, as the Bible also says that God/Jesus will not abandon those who believe in him.

I think it's cool to be proud. But when you are really over the top about it, then it's lame. For instance, my ex-friend Matt. Whenever we'd go to the mall he'd leer at straight boys. Whenever we would see a straight couple he'd say "Ew. Heterosexuality." I couldn't watch a straight romance movie without him making fun of it. Whenever he'd eat ice cream he'd leer at boys and attempt to eat it "sexily". (And failed miserably.) Once he was shouting things about deepthroating a tube of yogurt in Wendy's. It just makes me mad. We KNOW you like boys. You don't have to walk aroung TRYING to be gay, cause that's really what he was doing.

Being proud of your sexuality is one thing, and I have no problem with it...
It's another thing when people walk around practicaly SCREAMING "Yo people, I'm gaaaay heart "
I swear..... it just makes me sick, really... I have no problem with ANY sexuality, really... it's the people who are "all show" and that counts for both homosexuals AND heterosexuals... The fact that certain people are homo/hetero is all cool but it doesn't mean it's a reason fto friggin show it off to the whole world sweatdrop

Don't let them get to you. I'm gay, and I'm proud of it. People know, people don't care. I can't say I've got a girlfriend, 'cause I really don't... But I do have a girl that I love. And, if people don't accept you for WHO you are, then ********. You are who and what you are. If they can't accept you for that, then their not a friend, or a big enough person to even live (in my opinion, which I'm entitled to.)
Be stong, be proud. DO NOT let them get to to you.

it really depends where you live...
and how touchy the subject is in your area..
like down town portland, oregon.. no one gives a rip about it
but if you live in a small town.. ._.'' its a bit frowned upon..
I see how that happens... pfft.. me and my friend jessica were walking around school holding hands ( she has a b/f.. but we like scaring people for fun )
and we had these 3 girls come up to us and asked if we were " lesbian " ._. we gave them a weird look and said. no.... she said she had a b/f.. and at the time, I did as well.. x.x and we kinda laughed at them and said, your kidding right?
._. they gave blank stares.. x.x and when they walked off.. they started to whipser and s**t..

and now, around where I live.. ._.'' their is a rumor about me being a lesiban... x.x kinda dumb eh?
._o and someone asked me.. if I was.. and I said no.. and they were relieved..
even girls on my own bowling team talked behind my back.. ( except for 2.. ) and I told them 5 billion times.. ._. I don't find any of you attractive... x.x its weird....
and one of the girls thought I was going to rape her... ._. my god.. x.x that girl was NASTY! * shivers *

but its normal for that to happen you, so just ignore it, because.. really.. if you think about it, it's just going to bug you more and more ^^ and you couldn't enjoy the love from your sexy same-sexed partner! I hope that at LEAST helps you a bit...

There is one thing though..some people are afraid of telling others they are so they keep it secret. it took me awhile because I was afraid of being beaten up.. sweatdrop but after I found out some of my friends weren't straight either I was okay with it and talked to them about it..besides that..I still am proud of who I am.
