Israel paused in pulling her spoon out of her mouth and blushed lightly as she looked up at him. She swallowed her bite and reached down for some more.
"You would really like for me to? Do you think that that would be alright?" she asked, still looking at him.

"Yes, I think it would be fine." He said with a smile eating more. "My dad is a lot of fun, and a good cook. "He will be very interested in meeting you if he knows your passion for art."
He smiled and hoped they could go soon. He was anxious for Israel to see know more about him. "Even better if my mother is in town. She will make you laugh. She's so over dramatic."

Israel watched him for a moment, a soft smile on her lips. He was so excited for her to meet his parents and his excitement made her want to meet them too. They sounded very nice and he never had anything bad to say about them.
"I would love to go with you then," she smiled, and ate some more of the sundae. "I would love to meet your parents."

Giani paused, wow, he hadn't thought of it as 'meeting the parents.' He smirked. Ah well any time was a good time.
"Good. " He grinned almost at the bottom. "Next time they call I will ask them. I'm sure they would love to meet you."

Israel eyed the diminishing dessert and took one more bite, and knew she wouldn't be able to eat another one.
"I give up. You win," she smiled and set her spoon down in the bowl before leaning back into her pillows. "That was sooo delicious," she smiled, placing a hand over her stomach. She looked over at him and still could not believe that they were actually together. He made her so happy. She was so glad that no matter what happened now, she had Giani by her side and that he would always be there for her when she needed him. She just hoped that she could return the favor for him so he could feel the same way about her. Smiling again, she chewed lightly on her lip.
"I'm really glad I finally got to come see my painting today," she said, brushing some of her black and red hair out of her eyes.

"As am I." He said, smiling and putting the desert box on the floor. "I can't wait until you see it finished."
Yawning a little he sat back against the pillows with her and slid his arm around her shoulders.
"I think this has been a wonderful day." He said looking at the darkening sky out the window. "Do you think?"

"A perfect day," she smiled, snuggling up against him. She listened to his heartbeat again and smiled as her head rocked gently with the rise and fall of his chest.
"Giani... could you stay with me until I fall asleep?" she asked softly.

Giani looked down at her and smiled.
"But of course dolce." He said sliding down so he was lying and pulling her next to him. He had just been thinking how he didn't want the day to end. Watching her fall asleep would be the perfect close toe a perfect day.

Israel placed her head on his shoulder and wrapped an arm over his chest. Yawning lightly she snuggled closer to him.
"Thank you so much Giani," she said, then yawned again. Her heavy eyes slowly closed and after a few minutes she was fast asleep with a happy smile on her lips.

Once she was asleep Giani contemplated leaving. That was until he remembered the scared look she had on her face from the nightmare. He didn't want her to wake up scared and alone.
Sighing he moved onto his side and held her close. Resting his chin on her head he closed his eyes and slowly, he too fell asleep.

Israel heard her alarm go off, playing soft music. Slowly opening her eyes, she was greeted with the sight of someone's shirt being pressed against her face. Blinking for a few minutes, she tried to remember what had happened the evening before and slowly remembered asking Giani to stay until she fell asleep. Smiling, she wrapped her arm around him tighter and snuggled closer to his warmth, breathing in his scent.

At the soft sound of music Giani eased his eyes open and stretched a little. He looked down at Israel and smiled.
"Morning dolce." He said softly his voice quiet with sleep. "How is your ankle feeling?"

Israel sighed softly and gently flexed her ankle. It still hurt, but not as bad as the day before. Lifting her head up to look up at him she smiled sleepily.
"I think it's much better now," she replied, then kissed his chin lightly before lying her head back down.
"I thought you were only going to stay until I fell asleep," she said softly, muffled against his chest.

Giani smiled down at her again.
"I was, but I remembered your nightmare." He smiled and rested his chin on her head again. "I didn't want you to wake up alone, if you were scared."
he shrugged and squeezed her tighter, running a hand down her back.

That was the sweetest thing he could have done for her, she thought with a happy smile. Suddenly she realized that she had actually slept the whole night through without waking up once. Excited she sat up and kissed him happily, wrapping her arms around his neck.
