Gaiaonline. <3 I first came to gaia in 2003 when it was still semi-GoGaia. And I left for a while. When I returned in 2005, some girls were talking about Lolita and I listened in and looked it up in Wikipedia. INSTANT LOVE.

I love all the clothes from Malice Mizer!! and then came cosplay and still love cosplaying and fell in love with all the frills and lace and the part of looking young and cute without obscene stuff. whee

It was last year when I was introduced to the fashion, and it really captivated me, so that's when my obsession began. However, my addiction wasn't as large, or so you might call it, back then; but as time came, I became more addicted to the beauty of it. Thus, it was Anime and cosplays that really caught my attention, the complex designs attracted me towards it.

I was researching Japanese subcultures back in 10th grade (like 6 years ago) and came across Lolita fashion. biggrin Totally fell in love. ^_^

i think i went to an anime convention
and a lot of girls were dressed in it
and i fell in love with the style and everything

Thanks to my friend Melinda who came dressed to Erika's party in a Kuro Lolita dress. I feel in love ever since and even now I have more clothes than she does ^_^

Well, I always loved victorian fashion and also started out as a little gothling wearing my corsets and platform "kick your tooshie" boots, i liked the idea of dressing up as a doll and would do so just for the sake of doing it. Until one day someone asked me if i was a lolita and i naturally was like "hunh?" looked it up and since i already had a liking for japanese culture (just more old fashioned at the time)
twas quite exualting to have found a place where i belong in some sense of fashion and etiquette.

I am sorry. never be ashamed of your roots! XD even though chobits is a mild rip off of DearS O_O but that is a whole different story!

I found it on the internet, was looking for some japan information and so I found the lolita subculture, that was about 2 years ago.
