Anywho~ chose the Kai is Kai option but to be honest...I prefer First Season, but that's only because it's the easiest version of him to draw. x3
(When I read the topic title I swore it said 'What seasoning on Kai do you prefer? rofl )

But as for storyline, I like season one the best.
You know, the episodes with Black Dranzer
and Voltaire and so on. ...why do you hate the darkness?

Those episodes make me giggle. More than normal.
Has anyone else noticed the scene where after Kai has revealed his new evileh self he begins to walk away from the mayhem etc and Tyson's all "KAAAAAAAAIIIIIII!" when said is less than 10 metres away?
Cracks me up.

It's always like that.....look how alot of male leads in adventure animes often shout a name....Like Kuwabara shouting Yusuke's name all the time when he is in a crucial fight.

I've yet to see an anime that tops that scene, though. Yelling out someone's name in the heat of battle is one thing (didn't kung-fu moves teach us anything?)
Yelling out someon's name when they're walking quite sedately away and you could just as easily run after him and rugby tackle him to the ground s quite another.

IT was Tyson's dream-Kai though, not the real one.
Ithough it was quite sweet that Tyson's dream was Kai recognising him as someone other than an immature dimwit.

Although it would be several levels of awesome, it's still very un-Kai. Kai
and sweet go together like the TrojanVirus and my fist. . . unless you're
regarding his attachment to animals. . . then it wouldn't be too OOC if he
saw Tyson in the same light as a stray animal. . . .my brain hurts now. I
forgot what point I was trying to make . . . but the image of Kai feeding

No problem. Even if Tyson keeps talking to Kai like they known each other like forever, calling him "buddy" or "pal", Kai still finds it irritating. He looks out for him but he doesnt want to act all friendly. It just isnt his style and strong point. Just like Wolfy said, Kai and Nice repel each other like a Mongoose and a Cobra snake.
