Isn't bench press the one where you're lying down and you lift the barbell up off the rack, and then down to your chest (arms angled outwards of course to prevent too much stress on them), then up, and then repeat?
If that's the bench press, then I recall my highest was around 50 lbs, 4 sets of 10 reps each.
If its some other exercise... then I've no idea... sweatdrop
And no, I'm not that svelte. I've actually no idea how I managed to life so much (my dad can barely handle 45, according to him). For some strange reason, I've been eerily strong ever since I was a kid. Get this: at 10 years old, I threw a random punch at a towering 5'4" annoying classmate (I was only 4'7" at that age), connected with his gut...and had him stumble back, bent double. eek
No, not trying to brag here; just going with the topic that Icey brought up. It had to do with strength, so... sweatdrop

Knew someone would say that sometime... sweatdrop redface
Don't worry; it takes a lot to get me angry nowadays. And when I do, I usually take my anger out on inanimate objects, such a wall, a door, a punching bag, etc. There are four reasons for this:
1. Tai chi has helped to calm me down, so I'm much more relaxed. 2. I've used only 20% of my strength during armored sparring in taekwondo, and had my sparring partners tell me that they've got a bruise where I kicked them...and that was with the armor; 3. Because of that, I've no idea how strong I really am, just that I'm very strong for my age and gender (I've carried a 5-gallon tank of distilled water a couple of times, and beat my dad 5 out of 8 times in arm wrestling eek ); and 4. I don't like getting violent on people (so if I hit someone intentionally, they really deserve it)
Please tell me I'm not the only freakishly strong girl on here...
But seriously, I really wonder how much Kai can bench press...

True - if his arms and chest are any indication - but I'd like to know the exact figure, so I can set a goal for myself the next time I hit the gym with my dad (personal coach).

Heck, yeah. Ever since I saw that doujinshi, I keep thinking "How can anyone draw in a guy's nipples?" blaugh sweatdrop Personally, I exclude that whenever I draw topless guys.
Oh, and he was asking for a full washing-machine load, not a washing machine.
Kai: Tyson, give me a washing machine! Tyson: Eh? confused
rofl Now wouldn't that be something? xd

I take Taekwondo. Though I don't have any upper body strength. I kicked a 6'0" woman once and she fell to the ground. (Not trying to brag)

I take tae kwon do, too! Not trying to brag here, too, but in my first tournament, I won my heat in the elimination round due to superiority (score was 7-0, in my favor, or so the referee said). That was when I found that my forte was endurance (even though my coach said I was pretty much balanced).
Of course, that could have been because I didn't exert much strength in kicking and stuff, because I didn't want to hurt my opponent (that's my one weakness, I suppose). Once more, not trying to brag...
It's strange 'cause now, I'm taking tai chi (first hard martial arts, and now soft martial arts)....
Hey, Icey, what belt level are you? Just curious...

I'm a yellow belt, too! Only it's low-level yellow, not high-level like my instructor inspected me to get... sad I disappointed someone! Nuuuuuu!
Seriously, that was (and still is, to tell the truth) my reaction when I found out about it...
