OOC: yyyeeaaahhh...I was having a sort of writers block that day and I had recalled someone saying that their pae was the king of the squirrels <.<;
BIC: "The...clearing." That was where he normally summoned his shadow creatures. "safe enough." Raken had to agree, nodding as the sunlight glinted off his silver hair.

BIC: Raken nodded, hating to be like this. He would have to see Tartara later, she always had such interesting healing herbs when a thing with a shadow creature went wrong. "Thank you...you know, you don't have to do this. I know I'm not the most interesting of pae's."

Jazz looked to him as she walked. "I doubt that. You seem pleny interesting to me. I haven't known that many Pae, though. Just whoever came to the beach and bar. I want to leave more..." She knew that's why Thom left her and she didn't want it to happen again. She needed to not be so beach lover-y.

BIC: That was odd. He would much prefer to be back at HQ with a book then outside here. Even if he was with an elder. But...that's what he thought...so...why was he out here then? "I haven't met alot of Pae either. Mainy just my siblings and a few passerby's."

"Families are nice. Though, I guess we all have to get out more. I think my quest was the first time I really left the beach a bar. Only having been to the HQ a few times." Jazz kept walking slowly. It was a nice day. After the incident, she guessed, all days were nice.

Oh yeah. Before one became elder, they were put through a test to prove how worthy they were. A light blush appeared over his face. "Re...Reciently I have...been picked to become eligable for a quest...Do you...have any pointers? Anything would help." Raken didn't want to cheat or anything, he just didn't want to be completely in the dark if it happened. And he had heard a rumer anyway that every quest was different.

"Oh, well congrats. I was a bit different as I found Ice Berries that made the Guardians looks at me a bit closer. Every quest is differernt. I has to do with who you are, your powers, and mostly what elder title you are becoming. I had alot to do with telekinsis, astral projection and singing." Jazz explanined. Even when she ate the berries she had no idea that it had to do with elderhood.

Yeah. The rumer turned out to be true. He would probably never achieve elder status. They stepped out into the fae clearing. Instantly a shadow orb formed within him out of pure habit, the shadows around them gathering infront of them. Quickly he dropped the orb. Whatever he made wouldn't be sturdy anyway. "Sorry...This is where I train." It never dawned on him that other pae normally didn't train like he did.

Jazz watched. "Oh, hey doesn't that mean you have some energy back?" She then walked to a nice spot and sat down. She ran her fingers through her hair as she saw a flower. Jazz always liked having on behind her ear. She floated it to her and did so.

Raken shrugged lightly before greatfully sitting down as well. "It doesn't take much to form it inside, it's keeping it that is the problem. The instant that I formed anything it would have dissapated."

Jazz nodded. "I see. My powers are pretty much always useable. It's the astral projections that weaken me most. Though, before the other day I hadn't ever used the shield." Jazz then laid down to look at the trees. It was so nice a peaceful. What a change from the day before.

sweatdrop "Yesterday was the first day I had ever made and actually upheld two creatures. I also had never used my daggers before." Of course he never had used his daggers before. They were probably the main reason why he couldn't even stand. They were way to dangerous to use unless in dire need.

"Well, that was alot of firsts. Thanks for doing it for me." Jazz sat back up and kissed Raken on the cheek. He had saved her body and he did deserve something in return.
"And now you know you can do them if you really have to!" Jazz smiled as she laid back down.

A dark blush spread over his face, the spot where she had kissed tingling. Was that...concidered to be his first kiss? "I-I-was...it just didn't...a-alright." He looked at the ground, still embarrassed. Sure, he had read about kissing before but somehow...it was just different. He couldn't put his finger on it but...it just...was.
