Dyami now was blushing too. That was a very good question 'Why', he didn't seem to feel like he had a proper answer. "Er...because...it...it...you...it...err...I wanted you to be safe?" he said, kicking himself in the head for such a stupid reply.

Interesting. He grinned, now feeling a little playful. "And why was that?" he asked, leaning towards the other, although he was still sitting on the bed.

"Because I like you!" he blurted, still blushing like a tomato. He froze, at it wasn't from the cold, it was for what he a said. "Um...well...yea...tha-that's the reason, ok?"

He froze as well, face beat red, instantly any poise he had moments before obliterated. "I-isn't that a bit... quick?" he asked almost frantically, trying to ignore the butterflies fluttering up inside his stomach.

Dyami gulped in all the air and spoke very quickly, "Well you seemed like a very nice guy, with good status, personalty, and you don't seemed to hate me so..."he sighed out the words, "I don't know, I just like you!"

"R-right..." he said softly, slumping back onto the bed, laying back, his head on his crossed arms. He stared up at ceiling, trying to puzzle out what to think. "Sit down...?" he said finally, gesturing to the space on the bed next to him.

Dyami sighed, he was going to be rejected, he knew it. Not only they were guys, but the whole situation seemed sort of sudden. What a fool he was, thinking with his soldier instead of his head. He sat down next to Aoi.

Aoi saw the look on the other's face and immidiately felt a twinge in his heart that hurt. He almost gasped, but contained it. He sat back up again and, before he could think too much about his impulse, he leaned over and kissed the other on the lips.

Dyami froze again, blushing completely, he kissed back. He closed his eyes, on this kiss. He reached over and held Aoi in his arms in the kiss. Feeling the comforting warmth between them, and the blissful sigh of relief for acceptance.

Aoi pulled back suddenly, realising what he'd... what they'd... just done. His face was completely red and he looked like a nervous child. "I-I'm sorry... I- I don't know what came over me o-or..." He fell silent, his fingers gripping the soft bedsheets.

Dyami, shook his head silently, and smiled softly. "That's alright," he tilted his head sweetly, "I don't mind at all. After all I did sort of confess to you how much I liked you."

Keiji looked down at his hands, not clasped in his lap. "R-right..." His face was a bright red. Sure, he'd kissed people before... On the cheek. Family members, of course... but Dyami was different.

One moment, Dax had been standing at the door of an inn about to follow in Aoi and the next he found himself back in the palace.. What had happened? He was sitting in a chair within the conference room which was filled with many members of the court. They were all chattering excitedly among themselves. "W.. What's going on?" he asked, looking around.
His father was the first to come up to him and answer. "We've been informed by our patrols that an enemy from an opposing kingdom has entered our territory," the king replied to his son. "Luckily you were noticed outside of the palace by some of our guards. They brought you back before any harm could come to you."
".. Enemy? What enemy?" Dax asked, thoroughly confused.
"Apparently, he's been identified as the Prince of the Earth Kingdom. But don't worry," he said. "We've sent a group of our best guards to capture him as we speak."

((Sorry, I was a little more than busy yesterday. =o))
His eyes fluttered shut as butterflies fluttered inside of him. It felt so strange... being both happy and nervous and anxcious and excited all at the same time.
