Bofu Chikuu Okay, wow. Those last two posts just about named everything sad that ever happened in the entire series. I agree with the Gremio deal. I played Suiko 1 after 2, and it just totally shocked me that Gremio died...I cry for you, Gremio. Make me some stew!

Nanami's death and Odessa's... Odessa really didn't deserve to die so that was really sad for me. And oddly enough when Maithu died at the end of the first game. That was pretty sad along with Windy and Barbossa (I think that's his name...) But Nanami's death was soo sad and it was very disappointing too cause I knew I could've saved her... Thanks to my idiot brother, that is. scream

Yes, he fails at name calling. crying But I like the fact that he runs! It shows that he has a limit to what he can take. Besides, anything that will keep him alive, makes me happy! (Even running like a coward!)

I'm adding the burning of Lelcar's Western Islet to the list. I thought the aftermath was pretty depressing. The whole event was just sad.

Probably a tie between Gremio and Nanami deaths for me. Nanami's death affected me more for some reason, but I easily acknowledge Gremio's is equal at least. Probably just cause they had the sprites and face portrait customized for Nanami's death, if they pimped out Gremio's death it would be perfect xd
I don't even remember Lelcar burning much, my memory of 5 is foggy 0.o

I don't know why but when Gremio died, it somewhat moved me...
Also, Nanami's death was a very sad scene for me.

My first time playing Suikoden III while playing Hugo's Story.... and seeing Lulu die O.o I was like "I liked that character though!"
Having to sacrafice Yun for the to break the True Water Rune Sealing. Just thinking Of finding my father was the True Water Rune Bearer and dieing right there and then was kind of sad.... I mean here we are... Chris finally finds out Jimba/Wyatt was her father yet doesn't get to spend much time together as a family except those times they actually wanted to fight each other(Iksay Village)
The Scorched Land caused by the Sun Rune was also sad >.< poor Toma was so angry against the Royalty.
