Well it depends on the product. If it's something like medicine or makeup, then I'd rather buy the really good brands simply because if the medicine's cheap, it's either not going to do anything or it's going to do something strange to my body and I don't want that. And make-up I'd rather buy expensive good brands because it tends to be healthier for your skin and looks more natural.
Clothes...I like cheap clothing, but at good places. My friends and I usually go to the clearence racks in stores. xD
But once in a while I'll buy expensive things if I really really like it.

yeah my mom does that. like if there's a stain on some clothes or she'll find something wrong with it and bring it up at paying... so she can get a little more off. oh and when i went to vancouver and we went to the night market.. my mom tried bargaining down but duh its the nightmarket. xD. and when we went mall shopping my mom would say she's buying her item for either me or my sister so we'd be exempt from the PST. xD.

I think that we're cheap well my mom is but not me. she always try to nagociate with the seller. confused

I get driven crazy when my mom acts like that, whenever I wanna buy these clothes, she says, "Wait for the sale" gonk

My dad doesn't really buy stuff.....but my MOM oh my god! She bargains like crazy. If she thinks the price is too expensive but likes something, she will bargain like hell.

Heh yeah my mom is kinda cheap I guess..
Everything has to be on sale and blah...
But me and my sister don't really care...
We go by the rule that the more expensive the better...

I wouldn't really say cheap... just thrifty...
Most asian parents (especially the ones that are in the USA after immigrating from their home countries) really know the value of money and want to stretch their earnings as much as possible, even after they have been able to become financially successful...

My mom always gets mad at me because
I always wanna buy like..these brand named clothes
[like..Triple 5 Soul, and FCUK, bebe, G-Star Raw, and stuff like that]
Like, I go to a store and find a shirt,
and my mom goes "it's not on sale"
but she usually buys it for me.
