Tomoro slowly wandered in through the steel gates, looking at all of the young teens and children enjoying themselves; it was like a neverland for young people. Screams could be heard on the rollercoaster, and little kids ran with their mothers, pointing in all directions that they wanted to ride the rides. She sighed slowly, wondering where to to and whom to meet. I bet... I'm just going to be alone this entire time... wandering about aimlessly. Oh well.
Spotting a spare bench with nobody on it, directly across the rollercoaster, Tomoro began to walk over to it, when she felt a sickening splash behind her. Some little boy had thrown up, and almost on her! She looked behind her with disgust, and shook her head, straightening the eyepatch on her left eye. "How... putrid..." she mumbled, sitting down on the bench, her grey eyes twinkling slightly at all there was to do here.
It was coated with gum of all colors on the bottom, and it seemed to fit the scenery. Then entire place was colorful; it REEKED of color, fat smelling foods, and vomit. Tomoro nearly passed out at the smell of all of this; there were no plants to be found. She looked up and watched the rollercoaster looping for a final time, then coming to a stop. Shaking her head, Tomoro clasped her hands and looked down; maybe someone kind enough could come up to her and ask her to walk around with them... it would be nice. As if anyone will do that... she thought, looking at all of the happy couples. Tomoro already had Bukotsu, and that was enough... but somehow, she still felt empty inside, so she continued to to gaze at everyone, looking for some kind of ride to go on. Perhaps she would switch to carnival games later.
And so she did.

Makie nodded sadly at Max's comment, that he didn't know where Misty was. She smilled though, looking over at him. "I-It's okay. It's my f-fault... I... I should h-have w-waited for her..." She said, sitting on the horse with her legs hanging over one side like those princesses. Her small pale hands gripped the pole that was pretty much on every horse. The reason why she sat sie ways was... Well... She's wearing a mini skirt. She was afraid if she had sat the normal way, people would see her panties. The brunette would take no chances.
"I'm sure she'll come sooner or later, or she'll just wait for us to come back..."
Makie nodded again, smiling a bit softer. He was probably right, Misty would come soon enough. She just had to wait. But the girl couldn't wait that long! The ride was starting soon and Makie wasn't very patient either... Seriously. The brunette had no patience, but she'd never show it, since she might come off as a rude person and then no one would be-friend her. I suppose it was just apart of the childish attitude she had. Ah well. No biggie. Children like that get lots of friends, right? If Makie had friends, she felt safe and happy. That's all she wanted out of life.
"She was right behind me..I hope we didn't leave her to far behind. I'll be right back before you can say flapjack."
Makie perked up, and looked over at Gordon. Wait...? Where was Gordon? He left!? Oh no!! He must not have liked her and decided to leave! Now there were two friends she needed to find and were guilty for leaving out of the fun. Oh... Yeah... He just said he was going... OH NO!!! HE WAS GOING TO LEAVE AND NOT COME BACK!! No... he said he'd come back before she could say flapjack! So if she said flapjack, he'd come back?
"F-Flapjack...?" Makie said slowly. "Flapjack...?" She repeated, looking around. He still wasn't back. She frowned slightly, but then she thought about it for a moment. Maybe he was gone to get Misty...? That would make sense... Makie paused for another moment. Now they might both miss out on the ride! The brunette silently groaned. She didn't want her friends to miss out on the fun...
"M-Max...? W-Wh-What if they b-both m-miss t-the ride..." Makie started, gripping onto the pole. "I-I-It will be all m-my f-fault..." She said slowly and in the smallest voice ever. She felt so guilty. So upset. Everything was her fault. There was no other explination. The ride might start while Gordon was looking for Misty. OHMYGOD!!!! What if Misty and Gordon got lost!! That would be her fault too for not waiting for Misty, and for not stopping Gordon from leaving to look for Misty.
Meanwhile, Misty was slowly walking, her hands lifelessly at her side. If Makie didn't want to go some where, she would walk two steps forward then six steps backwards. That way, she would eventually get there, and it was more fun then just walking slowly. ANYWAYS -- Misty was enjoying her sweet time trying to go to the Merry-Go-Round. She didn't want to ride that stupid ride. So if she was late for the ride, Makie wouldn't be upset that she said she didn't want to go on. But, ohhh~~~ What an opposite effect. She didn't want makie to be upset because she didn't want to go on the ride, but Makie was upset because Misty would miss the ride. That's irony for you.
That's when Misty heard a strange ringing of her name. Her eyes looked around for the source of where her name was being called, as she continued to walk. Then she heard calls of her and the Merry-Go-Round. And then she saw Gordon, that guy who asked for Makie's autograph. She slapped her forehead, as 'casually' walked over to Gordon. Anything to make him stop calling out her name and embarassing both of them. As the woman 'casually' walked by Gordon, she said in a low, but harsh tone;
"Stop calling out my name you doofus. I'm right here. Now, when you stop, tell me what you're doing. This is rediculous. And if you say this has anything to do with Makie, I swear..." Misty said. She liked Makie and all, but if the brunette wanted to prove herself worthy of being able to protect and take care of herself, she has to stop worrying about all the others and think about herself every once in a while.

" Well...it does have to do with her. You see she won't get on the ride without you..so hurry up? " Gordon said jogging in place. his aura faded. Then he spotted a Hot dog stand. His eyes lite up as he ran over.
" 10 hotdogs please" he said smiling. he gave the vendor the money who looked confused and gave him ten hotdogs and walked back over to Misty. He stuff all ten of them in his mouth. He quickly chewed them all up and swalloed them whole. He patted his stomach smiling.
" That was a good snack. I'm still hungrey though." hesaid smiling. He suddenly grabbed her hand and started to run fast again. He didn't have time to argue with her. He wanted to ride the rides with his new friends.

Max laughed quietly as he waited for the ride to fill up. Makie was sitting like British Royalty, she was riding side saddle. He assumed it was because she was wearing a mini-skirt, because she didn't seem stuck up. Then he flipped his leg up onto the horse. Then he heard Makie.
"F-Flapjack? Flapjack?"
She was worried. "Makie, it's a figure of speech. He didn't mean it. He'll be back soon. So will Misty" 'I hope' he said then thought, in that order. He figured Misty would be back, she couldn't leave Makie behind with people she didn't know very well. But gordon seemed slightly crazy. And with the speed he was moving, something horrible could happen. He cleared that from his mind as the ride started. It was too late for Misty and Gordon, but he assumed they would just wait till a second chance to ride it. He grasped the bar and watched the park. He was starting to get settled for the ride and smiled again, with the large toothy grin. He was excited to be here. Happy to be doing something. Glad that he talked with someone before the park started to fill up. But after this, what would they ride? The roller coaster? Maybe get something to eat? Or jump in one of the bouncy castles? 'Awww who cares? We're at an amusement park! Make last minute desisions, it's ok!' he thought as the ride started to pick up speed. "How do you like it, Makie?" he asked.

The moment Misty heard Gordon speak, she felt her hands tremble by her side as if she wanted to slap some one. Ohhh... Some one will be hurt. You know in those animes, when the person is mad there's always those vein popping images by their head? You could almost swear Misty was holding back the anger. I suppose it couldn't be helped though... Makie did need her, so it would be fair to go, but... Why won't she go and enjoy herself without her there!? My god...
That's when Misty's cerulean eyes remarked something... Where was Gordon? She glanced around to see him at a hot dog stand. She slapped her forehead for about the one billtionth time today. Seriously, you don't eat before you go on rides, you vomit. And that's just gross! Ewww!! And at an Amusement Park they're always these gross and disgusting colors. And the smell!!! Ugghhh... It's enough to start a chain reaction of puking. That's when Gordon return, his mouth full of... How many hot dogs? Misty couldn't count but there a lot. She rolled her eyes. Why was she here? Every one was immature and filled with joy and happiness. It was enough to make her sick. And have you ever looked at the ferris wheels? Misty glanced at the Ferris wheel that flipped around, and you were basically in an oval shaped cag, and do you know what she saw? People kissing while they were upside down! Seriously! Everything was so stupid, and happy, and blissful.
That's when she felt her hand being touch. She tried to pull away, but the only thing... Person... that was being pulled, was Misty. Her sky blue eyes widened as she tried pull away while running. He was fast, but she was also fast herself. Picking up speed, she ran next to him, pulling away her hand. "Don't EVER touch me again!" Misty yelled while running. They eventually got to the ride, in which, Misty stopped reluctantly, seeing it had already started. 'Yes! I'm late! Ahah! Success!' Misty thought to herself.
Makie, while Gordon was getting Misty, sat a little un happily. She constantly fidgetted and loosened then tightened her grip on the pole. What if Misty missed the ride? What if Gordon missed the ride? She wouldn't know how she would feel or if they would feel bad. All the horses were beginning to fill up, including the one Gordon was sitting on. Makie lowered her head slightly, feeling ever so sad. Such a strange emotion for such a happy place. And then she heard Max speak up. The brunette lfted her small head up and turned it to the side slightly to see the boy.
"Makie, it's a figure of speech. He didn't mean it. He'll be back soon. So will Misty"
"A-A-Are you s-sure...?" Makie asked in a small voice, her chocolate eyes looking at the operator of the ride, who looked about ready to start. If the ride started soon, Makie didn't think she'd enjoy it. It wasn't that she wanted Misty to ride with her, but she didn't want her friends to miss the fun. You know? If they didn't want to ride it, that would be okay, but at least she knew that they didn't want to ride it, and not that they missed the fun. A sudden movement from the ride jerked Makie's small frame forward, her grip tightening to catch herself. She still felt upset, and she couldn't enjoy herself to the fullest since her friends were probably sad they were missing the ride. She blocked out everything around her. The noise, what Max said, the ride, every thing.
Makie let out a breath and finally looked up. Her chocolate eyes meeting Misty's deep cerulean eyes. She perked up, mouthing the words 'You're here!' to her friend. Misty nodded and just waved softly. Makie felt so happy she could jump for joy! Then she realized what was going on. Why was she moving up and down...? Wait... Was she moving up and down? WHAT KIND OF RIDE IS THIS!!??? Makie suddenly clinged to the pole, closing her chocolate eyes. "I-I-It's moving!!! T-Th-The r-ride!!!" Makie managed to say. "I-It's m-moving up and d-d-down!"
"I-Is t-this s-s-suppose t-to h-happen!?" She exclaimed, her knees stuck together, as she clinged to the pole for dear life. Her mind raced around what was happening. THEY WERE TRYING TO HYPNOTISE THE PEOPLE RIDING IT BY IT'S MOVEMENTS!!!! Going around in a circle, moving up and down.... It was a conspiracy! Conspiracy I tell you! 'I-I-I... I think t-this r-ride i-is trying t-to m-make u-use sick... T-Turning a-around, g-going up and down...' Makie thought to herself. She wasn't feeling sick, but the feeling of moving up and down while turning. Wahhhhh....
Soon, the ride picked up it's speed, and Makie continued to hold onto the pole tighter. "Oh my--!!!" Makie said, closing her chocolate eyes for the rest of the ride. Closing her eyes helped though, it felt kinda cool, while moving up and down and going in a circle. It felt like she was floating. Floating in the air, free from sins. Ahhhh... Bliss... But soon the ride came to a stop, and Makie opened her eyes. She felt slightly dizzy, but shook it off. The small girl jumped off the horse, petting it's saddle as if it was a real horse. Then she quickly rejoined her friends.
"M-Misty!" Makie said, hugging Misty, making the woman feel uncomfortable. "The ride w-was great! I-It w-was sooo c-cool!!!" Makie declared happily in sheer bliss. Ah, she'd want to ride that again. That's when it hit her! There were tons more rides that would be so much cooler than the Merry-Go-Round and she wanted to go on all of them!!! A boost of energy, but not confidence, rushed through her veins! She vowed to go on all the rides before the day ended, and makie also vowed to go on the ferris wheel with Oliver.
"I-I-I wanna ride t-the... Th-That ride!" Makie said, pointing to the ride, where you sat on the swing and it would spin you around so fast, the swings would fly up and down and it would feel like you're flying. "P-Please...?"

Max laughed as Make rode the ride. She had picked an 'up and down' horse, something she hadn't realized was on the ride. Max knew which was which by the shape of the pole and the way the ceiling was. The gizmos and gadgets that made the ride what it was, he usually figured those out. The magnets in the freefall rides, the neverending chain that lifted the roller coaster to the top. All things he found out about all the rides.
Soon the ride was over and they were off. They found Misty and Gordon and discussed which ride to ride first. Max looked around at all of them. Makie suggested riding it again, but then she pointed in a certain direction
"I-I-I wanna ride t-the... Th-That ride! P-Please...?"
Makie pointed to a large set of spinning swings. The line wasn't too bad, and he had always loved that ride. Then maybe after another ride or so, they could ride the roller coaster. It was a huge coaster. Something he had never really ridden. "Sure, why not?" he said. He watched the others to see their impression of what ride to ride.

Gordon wansen't mad at all he missed the Merry-Go round. He found a Preztel stand. He came back with ten preztels and started to stuff his face again. " Yeah...those hit the spot..now all I need is a nac-OH MY GOD ITS COTTON CANDY!" Gordon said rushing over nearly trampling serval people.
He bought atleast five. He handed Max, Makie, And Misty one. He kept the other two and just at them whole. Stick and all. Where Gordon was from he was known to eat anything and everything. He never lost a food eating eating contest ever. If he ever stopped training he'd become a blob of mass.

Makie continued to look at the ride she had pointed to, with wide and excited eyes. She loved swings, and that ride looked so cool! I mean swings! Spinning around kind of fast! People screaming because they lost their hats! The flying in and out motion! How can you beat that? Well, you couldn't. It's too cool to beat. Too spiffy... Besides, Makie has always wanted to fly! She wished she had wings, because, when she was happy, she'd fly around and when she was sad, she could fly away to her own haven.
She continued to stare at it, before a certain midnight haired woman had stomped on her newly bought, black hiking boots. The brunette jumped back to life, holding her foot and jumping a bit. "Owwwww!" Makie exclaimed as she stopped jumping around. The small girl looked up at Misty with her chocolate eyes. Her eyes pleading 'What was that for?'. The midnight haired girl looked back to Max and Gordon.
"I don't care where you guys going, I'm not riding any of them. I'm just here to make sure Makie doesn't hurt herself, or get lost." Misty said, not caring if she had embarrassed her small friend... Which she did. Makie blushed and looked down, kicking a rock in embarrassment. She felt very flustered, and blocked out the rest of the conversation.
That's when the cry of Gordon could be heard. Makie looked up, wide eyes and blushing in shock. Gordon, after managing to stuff his face, went after some cotton candy... Wait... Cotton candy...? Makie hasn't had cotton candy before either... Hmmm... Cotton candy... It's candy that tastes like cotton? Or cotton that tastes like candy? Or prehaps cotton and candy had nothing to do with the food and how it got it's name... The world may never know... Well, actually, most of the world DOES know about cotton candy, it's just Makie doesn't know a thing about this cottony candy or candy cotton.
And then Gordon returned handing a pink cotton like food to her. She stared at the cotton candy for a bit with wide chocolate eyes. Why! It looked like a cotton ball! So she was right! It was cotton that tasted like candy. The brunette looked up at Misty, who stared at her blue cotton candy. The woman hated candy, so when she noticed Makie was looking up at her, she shoved it into the girl's free hand. "I hate cotton candy. It's gross." Misty concluded, crossing her arms and standing in a position that says 'I don't care, and I don't want to be here.'
Meanwhile, Makie just stared at both of her cotton candies now. Misty didn't like it, so maybe it tasted bad? Then again, Misty pretty much hated all candy. Shifting the cotton candy, so that they would be in one hand, she closed her eyes and reached to the pink cotton candy and took a piece of it. Slightly screwing up hew face, she popped it into her mouth. The cotton candy kinda melted on your tougne!! How cool was that!? Opening her chocolate eyes, she smiled and took another piece of her pink cotton candy, and ate some more. They were yummy! She didn't know if she could eat the whole thing though... There was A LOT of cotton candy there, and Makie didn't eat a lot anyways. Devouring her last piece of cotton candy, she lowered the cottony candy and looked over at her new friends.
"S-S-So... W-We're g-going to that r-ride..? T-Th-The swings o-one?" She asked her friends, her gaze returning to the ride as she took one more piece of her cotton candy.

Max took the cotton candy from Gordon. It was a large one, blue. One of his favorite colors. He ate the cotton candy slowly, it was too sweet for him initially, and when he had to much sweet stuff, he got sick to his stomach. He sat down for a bit too, to let it get through his system. There was a lot of cotton candy, so he got a bag to hold it in. The only problem would be keeping it safe. Eh, he figured he could just put it in the box by the ride. He ate another piece of it and slipped it into the bag. Makie got two whole sticks of it, because Misty didn't want any. 'Oh well...' he thought. He got back up.
"S-S-So... W-We're g-going to that r-ride..? T-Th-The swings o-one?"
Makie finally spoke after eating one of her cotton candies. Max was OK with that one, and he figured he could probably keep his stomach healthy for at least two rides before letting the candy digest. "Sure," he said. "I love that ride!" He stared at the big swings. There was only one problem he had with it: The noise it made while your swing moves up and down. He loved all the same, even with the ride. He started walking and turned back. "I don't think we should race to this one, we want to conserve our energy, right?"

Gordon looked at the spinny ride. It looked cool. " Sure lets ride it."he said looking at the ride. He started walking taking Max's idea not to race. That grouchy girl would take her sweet little old time. He waited in line saving a spot for the the others. Suiddenly a guy cut right infront of him.
" Excuse me sir I was there." he said but the guy didn't pay any heed to him. Goprdon tapped his shoulder but still the guy didn't turn around. Gordon was starting to get mad. He held out a finger and it started to glow red. He aimed it at the guy's pants and a little red beam came out burning through the guy's pants lining causing them to fall down.
The man looked down at his nowe full exposed boxers and started ran away his pants on his legs. Gordon along with other people started cracking up. " Thay'll teach him." he said smiling slyly.

Natsana had been in front of the guy who cut and she turned around to see what the camotion was about. She saw the man running off, trying to hold up his pants, but failing miserably. Then she noticed the guy who seemed to cause the trouble. He was smirking and she frowned. Everyone around was laughing except for her. She turned to face forward once more "So immature..only using their power selfishly" she mumbled.

Which she did. Makie blushed and looked down, kicking a rock in embarassment. She felt very flustered, and blocked out the rest of the conversation.
That's when Gordon began to walk towards the ride. Makie took Misty by the hand followed silently, motioning Max to follow them. Misty easily broke free from the brunette's grip and began to walk alongside her friend. "I'm not riding this ride, but enjoy yourself this time, okay?" Misty said, in a cold tone. Makie looked up, a little upset. Why wouldn't Misty want to go ride and have fun and scream her head off...? Well... Maybe the Misty that Makie knew from her childhood would ride the rides with her, but now... Misty probably doesn't have the word 'Happiness' or 'Joy' or 'Fun' written in her vocabulary.
"Awwe... B-But... I-It's g-going to b-be---" Makie was then cut off by some guy running past her, trying to hold up his pants. She wuickly turned on her heels, and began to run after him. She hoped he didn't feel bad, but... Misty wouldn't allow her to go off and check to see if a stranger was okay. The small girl continued to look in the direction the guy ran, feeling sympathy for him, which brang her spirits down. It hurt Makie to see some one upset, and that made her sad too... She's like a tetor totter (sp?) of emotions. If some one was sad, she'd be sad, but if some one was happy, she was happy, and her emotions would continue to go up and down, up and down...
After all this time, Makie finally realized that Misty was dragging her along to the ride. Her heels dragging on the ground. She snapped back to reality quickly releasing her hand from Misty's grasp. "Oh no! M-M-My boots! A-Are th-they o-okay?" She said, checking the heels of them to make sure there were no marks or to see if it was dirty. The very bottoms were dirty, but they weren't that noticable. She relaxed and caught up with Misty, Gordon and Max.
"Hmmm... I-I-I... Hope t-that t-the g-guy is okay... H-He seemed p-pretty u-upset..." She said, her chocolate eyes glancing back one more time to make sure he's okay. "I-I-I wonder what h-happened..." She put a small and pale finger on her chin, and slowly looking up to the bright sky.
"I-I hope t-the r-rest of h-his day is b-better!" Makie said, smiling softly. "H-His should be a-as g-good as ours!" Her chocolate eyes drifted among the clouds, day dreaming. At least until Misty stomped on her foot again. "Oww!"

Trotting along next admist the his friends, Terry happily looked at the rides and the booths and the lights and all the other bright sparkley things the carnivale had to offer.
Tekkishe's yelling had brought Hiro and Yuki back over to them, seeing Hiro's grin after just getting off of the ULTIMATE DEMON DROP, Terry fell into a conversation with the older boy about the finer points of horror rides.
As the wind picked up, it blew discarded pop corn tubs and cotton candy sticks across the path.
"Where next?" Terry asked. "Need to fuel up Tek or should we try to track down El? I think she'd like it here," Despite what she said in the library.

Hikaru frowned just slightly at the mention of El. She'd still never gotten a chance to talk to her about what had happened the other day and find out why she seemed so angry. It would have been better to apologize before the carnival had started so everyone could just relax and have fun together, but she'd been pretty scarce lately, and things just sort of started happening...
"Yeah, we should probably go looking for El. She definitely wouldn't want to miss this!" Hikaru said, trying to sound more enthusiastic about this idea than she actually was. She really hoped things were still okay between the two of them.
