Chris had taken the clothes thrown at her without so much as a gripe..dressing silently behind a small partition as well. Marcus, or so the lady had said, seemed almost justified in his anger. Chris of course, was just having a good time...but he seemed to have been with the Captain much longer...knowing all the things he did. Perhaps there was something more than mutiny behind his words...or mabye he was just a cranky guy. Once she and the blacksmith were dressed again, though Chris kept the whitish headband from her last outfit, she headed towards the stairs. "That's the one who recruited 'us'. He's not the nicest, I'd watch out fer 'im." Chris nodded as she darted up the stairs, deciding to remain as she had come aboard. She followed the man, Marcus, as he went on to the upper deck, noting as he slapped another sailor...Jack..around. She followed still as he went for the Captain's Quarters relaxing against the wall a few feet back. She could've been further back still and would've heard the shouts that echoed out.

"If you weren't taken yer own sweet time acting like I had given ye the scutwork, you'd have heard that we were going to Indican for repairs! Yer nearly me own kin Marcus but I will not hesitate from dragging you under the keel with a rope if ye don't keep a lid on that kind of talk! On this ship I run things, on this ship I'm not talking sass from a god damned scout! Scout! know your place!" Robichaux was fuming, the tobacco in his pipe has been puffed out from his hoarse screaming and was all over the planks under his feet. Robichaux looked back to the crew who sat in dim silence "Get back to work. NOW!" Robichaux took a hold of the wheel again and held it tightly grumbling to himself.

"I was assessing those repairs, that incase you've already forgotten, YOU caused! Bloody Hell, let me tell ya Captain.. you or any of yours come within ten feet of me with a rope and I'll gut the lot of you like fish. And you know Damned well that its within my abilities to take on any of your crew. I may be a bloody Scout.. but you know as well as any that I'm better than all but Andrea on this ship. I'd hate to see how you treat your real kin, sir." In a flurry of movement Marcus had drawn a dagger and ripped the staff from the leather straps on his back, a defiant gleam was in his eyes as he lowered his stance preparing for anything the captain could throw at him. Both pistols had been cocked and now were ready for quick use should that be the rout the captain chose. He doubted that, even though his back was turned, the Captain would let this outburst go without another word in.

Jack pulled out a pistol of his own as he leaned against the wooden frame railing of the ship. Amused and concerned about the arguement heis face remained expressionless. For several seconds he gave the new recruits a curious glance before exmaining his pistol once more. He pulled out a hankerchief from his pocket as he began cleaning the pistol of the gun powder residue, taking it apart at several places to wipe anythign he missed. He assembled it together once mroe satisified with job before placing it back into the holster and removing the second to clean it in the same way as the one before. All the whil he listened to the clearly audible shouts, as he contempated several matters in his mind.

Robichaux had flagged seven men who were already behind Marcus with swords drawn. Robichaux walked up to Marcus slowly, taking out his blunderbuss. "Marcus..." He took a close look in his eyes. "You've been here a good while, but it seems you must have not been here for first day training. The captain's word is law. When the captain tells you to jump, you say 'how high?' and when the captain tells you to shut your gullet!...You're going to do it." One of the men grabbed Marcus in a half nelson and Robichaux cracked Marcus in the face with the butt of his blunderbuss. Robichaux walked back up to the wheel, and his men went back to their stations. "Marcus, you are replacable. You are expendable. You are a pirate, not a child. Now act like it."

Though he had no right to interfere he spoke loudly as he gazed upon the captain his face still expressionless though concern flickering in his eyes. "Aye Captain, I believe Marcus may merely have a case of cabin fever. He's prolly been on the sea to long." His words meant no offesne to Marcus though they did seem to be as if he were taking bad about him. But he was merely concerned that things may become a little too drastic. He holstered his pistol as he pocketed his hankerchief

Robichaux waved his hand "Of course, everyone here is just working hard and haven't seen any good fun for too long... Is that it, men? You want some fun?" A rauscous cry came up from the crew. "Allright! You filthy bastards have earned it! When we get to Indica, free ale and women on your ol' messmate Robichaux's coin! A send off for kings to our next treasure!"

Andrea stood off to the left of Marcus after returning to the upper deck a slight frown creased her face. "Marcus..." she said trying not to upset the distraught scout even more. "Stand down...and bite your tongue. You know your chances in this..." she said, her voice still carrying the sarcastic twinge that was almost always present in her speech. "I warned you about letting your anger get the best of you..." she added quietly as for only him to hear, though her words held a scornful edge, basically her way of telling him I told you so...

Chris smiled at Jack's comment, it was an apt description of what Marcus seemed to be going through. She'd watched from the pier, and the shipe had certainly not been docked long. In fact, if Marcus had been the "recruiter", he must have been on shore a grand total of thrity minutes. The blacksmith came up on deck, standing beside Chris. "Bloody nose huh?" He said, tilting his head in Marcus' direction. "Wishin' I could do an 'elluva lot more 'n that." Chris looked up, questioningly. "'An why is that? Do you think he'll try somethin' mutinous?" The blacksmith boy scoffed. "Nah..he can do all sorts of mutinous things fer all I care. But 'es no right to threaten mi' ma or sisters like he done, nor what 'e did to mi' pa," he said, his voice low. Chris nodded slowly. Pirates weren't known for being good-natured towards innocents. "I never got the chance to thank you fer my brother and fer me. I'd 'a been a gonner had you not shown me a few of them counters." Chris just grinned. "Couldnt' le'chya die..might need you to watch mi' back later on." She cheered as loud as the rest of the crew, though for different reasons. The clothes given her by the infamous Marcus fit poorly, and though they might do for a pirate much...thicker, than she, these would only trip her up. Chris suddenly remembered the bottles of rum she'd stowed away before the fight. Moving quickly, she recovered the bottles, and, handing the blacksmith's pair to him, held the bottles aloft. "Captain! We new recruits bring with us something to wet'cher throat fer the long trip!" She saw the blacksmith's smile and returned it. The rum must have been Marcus' idea, though for what purpose Chris could only guess.

Robichaux walked over and slapped the two heartily on the back "Ain't that gert kind of ye!" Grabbing the bottles he slipt them into his girdle. "You two'll be coming with me onland to Indican, see first hand how my crew does business more or less.." Robichaux looked up to see the approaching shore and the quaint township within. "Prepare to dock! We'll be setting anchor here! This town is on cease fire territory, so all crew are allowed to go into town and do as they may-- taverns and brothel charges can be put on my tab for the way out; is my treat, for me adoring crew!"

Andrea rolled her eyes slightly at this, yet another chance for everyone to lose their bearings in getting bloody intoxicated again. She didn't drink often, mainly because she took the duty on herself to see to things that they others didn't. To clean up all the metaphorical messes and such. In this instance seeing to the repairs, and perhaps getting to have a bit of fun with this map maker that the captain had mentioned. Getting people to talk was something of a specialty of Andrea's.
"Try not and get yourself into any more blasted brawls...even if you don't start them, you sure as hell finish them. Maybe this time we can make it out of port without any more...problems." Andrea said slyly to Robichaux as they pulled into dock.

Robichaux waved his hand "Oh, I won't be drinking on this particular trip inland, I have to give me liver some time to recover." Robichaux let out a hearty laugh, and flagging over Andrea and the new recruits he walked down sidesteps to the docks--taking in the fresh air and the serene town before him. "What a beaut it would be...If it were on fire." Robichaux smiled to himself "I'll have to put that one on me list. Andrea, watch for when Indican loses it's cease fire status-- we'll be one of the first to raid!"
