Taizen opened the door wearily, his sleeves felt a little damp from the water bending, but he was quickly distracted from how tired he was. "WHOA!" Taizen didn't understand how loud he was being, but he had pretty much shouted in surprise. She had an almost finished garb made out of the water silk, and he was very much surprised by it, not because she had done so much work, but because it looked great, better than any article of clothing he had ever seen.
stared at the cloth for a little while before coming back to earth. "Are you going to have that finished by tomorrow?" He asked conversationally, as though he hadn't been mesmerized by it. "'cuz, you know, 'apparently' I'll be bending a show for everyone tomorrow... It's looking good bye the way..." He acted like he wasn't dreading the moment that he would have to especially if Taikai was going to help him in the spectacle, so unheplfully!

She blinked as he nearly shouted out in surprise and her head tilted. She blinked yet again and lowered her gaze to the short-styled Yukata. Raising it she would stand and look to him. "I..am sure I can. Would you like to try it on?" Her eyes went wide and a bright smile crept to her lips. "OH! You are going to give a deminstration? Taizen that's so wonderful"
Her brows lowered as she ventured slowly towards him, unfinished article of clothing in hand. "Is that why you seem so..stressed? Because you are preforming your bending?" She tried to ease his mind by shaking her head and chuckling. "You will wow them I am sure..here. Try it on." She held out the Yukata and waited for him to try it on. It was hard to craft clothes from just eye view and not measurements. Hopefully she didn't do too bad..

Taizen looked a bit surprise, was she making it for him? It looked like it might fit him,, but he couldn't, what if he tore it? Or something worse. "Thats a very nice offer, Niima, but I couldn't, you worked so hard on it! Maybe.. give it to some one you like?" He asked trying to refuse, though inside he was ecstatic, and di want to try it on, but it would have been a bad thing to do... Maybe...
"I'm stressed because I can't handle being around a lot of people, I can bend just fine, but with all those people... Ah, my poor confidence.. You used to be so awesome..." He patted some invisible dog next to him, maybe he was going crazy?

"I told you I wanted to give you something before you left...you are just getting it a bit early. You can call it...a good luck trinket." She smiled to him, still insisting.
"Well. Why don't you do what I do when in front of alot of people. Focus on someone you know or even do it with your eyes closed and pretend you are practicing in your favorite place in the whole wide world. Now stop being a goof, we both know that you can do it. And I am sure your teacher is quite thrilled to have you show others what you've learned." Yep..that ended off a scold but ah well. With the last words she tossed the Yukata over his head and moved off to the table, her back to him as she went about cleaning up her mess. Nope. Not taking a no for an answer.
"If you like, tonight when everyone's asleep you can practice out in the field. I'll help. That way you can get practice in and maybe lose some of that doubt. Seriously. tsk. I would think your ego would be in overdrive!"

Taizen looked a little surprised. "Oh.. Well... Thanks..." He said feeling awkward. Should he have put up a bigger fight about it? He didn't know. Practically everything Niima said was truth, and the others werent lies, they were exaggerations of the truth, an exxageration like: 'I'm sure you'l wow them.'
He sighed as Niima gave him advie, and then resolutely commanded him to put the Yukata on. He smirked, but it was more of a sheepish grin than any smirk he had have done before. She turned around, obviously tying to make sure he put it on rather than just run away, and leave it in his room somewhere. He released a breath. "Whatever you say.." He said, decing to get changed quickly, very quick, so that there was no misunderstandings...

She didn't feel like she was exaggerating. After all, those who do not have the ability tended to be amazed by the people who did. Raising her hand against her lips she yawned, strong enough so that her body shook from the effort. She was tired still but it was only because..well..sleeping on a pillar isn't exactly a restful place to sleep.
Once all her stuff was in a neat lil pile, everything in order she moved over to Guardian who was, like most of his time, asleep. She kept her back to Taizen as she knelt down and scratched her nails softly along the bridge of the feline's nose. "Since when is it 'whatever you say'?" Geez it wasn't like she was being bossy. Yet. She was trying to help out. Beh. Oh well.

Taizen sighed again, finishing his changing from regular water tribe garments, to the Yukata, that he felt very relaxed in, like it was made for- .... It was... Wasn't it...? "You can turn around now." He said inspecting wha he could by looking at the fabric, he glided a finger across the surface, and he was pleased at the sensation. "You did a great job, It can't possibly get better when it's done, it's perfect as is." He said truthfully, and genuinely impressed, Niima had skill.
"It turned into 'whenever you say' when my ego got deflated. y'know, theres few people that can beat me in a verbal war. Congratulations by the way, your the first." He said smugly, the all too familliar smirk back on his face.

Hearing he was done she took up a few pins so she could hold whatever needed to be fixed. Turning she looked at him, pausing for a second. The watersilk did well by him. Her head shook, snapping her mind to the task at hand. She moved over quickly and motioned with two fingers. "Raise your arms out and to your sides so I can check the sleeves.." She noted that the hem was two inches below his knees and she wanted a inch above..hm. He was taller then she gave him credit for. Reaching down she grasped the hem and bent it upward, pinning it in place for later reference. "Thanks but it's not done yet. I still need to tamper the sleeves..and ..um..Do you want it shorter or would you rather it this long?"
As she stood up she shook her head at him. "Verbal war? We had one? Where was I?" Reaching over she poked his ribs, aiming right between the middle section of them. Ticklish or not she was aiming more to startle him then anything. "Your ego is hardly deflated, Oh mighty one. I just think we stand at a still because we tend to catch each other's 'hints'." She meant the little 'hints' like his fake curiousity or other lil things that most without a keen eye would miss.

Nodding, Taizen raised his arms so that Niima could keep working on the Yukata, "it feels comfortable like this, less open skin." He replied kindly, he wasn't sure if he hadgotten selfconsious of anything, but generally it was a rule to dress bulkily in the northern and southern poles, if you were a bender, you would get used to the cold, but it was safer. Now in an area where it wasn't neccesary to wear such bulky clothing, he felt sorta... vulnerable, in this area, heavy clothing felt nice, like some sort of heavy armor, but with regular clothes, he felt... awkward... "It's just because i'm not used to it yet..." He reasoned.
He smirked. "C'mon, are you saying you werent trying to win?" He asked, because then his ego really was going to deflate. But, it was promptly boosted back up by Niima's compliment. "I guess your right, like... When you were trying to show me to my room, and you were really trying to get away because you were cold, sorry for catching tat hint late by the way."

She carefully went pinning cloth where it needed to be fixed. She smiled a bit as he rose his arms and she tugged the cloth with a tender touch in certain areas and even pinned the cloth near his upper arms and elbows, just enough to where it wasn't so flimsy near the upper arms.
She tried her best to hide a grin as he asked her that and she shrugged a bit. "Maybe..? If only to ruffle your feathers.." Her lips twitched somewhat at being caught though and she 'accidently' pricked his arm with a pin as she folded in the sleeves. Played off of course like she didn't notice. "No clue what you are talking about." And quick to change that subject. "Are you planning to wear this tomorrow night?"

"Ow," He commented, noticing Niima grin, also noticing that she pricked him in an area where it needed no fixing whatsoever. He let it go, Niima had atleast not hurt him in worse places."Oh, right, I guess I'm not making any sense now."
He smirked even more, glad that he finally had an intellectual equal... Maybe... "Oh, well, I don't know, I only bend in hand-made watertribe clothing..." He smirked, and when Niima wasn't messing with his arm, he used it to hold his chin and look thoughtful. "Although I do suppose that, since you showed me where the Whistling weed is, I could model your clothing..." He was being slightly pompous, acting as though he were repaying a favor. "Well, I suppose I could do it out of the kindness in my heart..." He tilted his head to look at Niima. "But do I really want to go there?" He asked as though Niima were an advisor.

She actually managed to keep a straight face when he said 'ow', trying her hardest to either keep that face blank or she was actually concentrating on what needed to be done. Once she was done she pulled away and raised a brow. Then came a shrug as if the subject barely phased her. "Hey, don't bother me if you don't want to wear it. Means I get to sleep tonight." She flashed him a sweet smile and turned away, moving back to the table to dispose of the rest of the pins. Indeed, finishing it before tomorrow would require burning the midnight oil which definately meant..no sleepy tonight for her!
Her head tilted somewhat as she diverted her attention between the items on the table and him. "I guess since you want to wear watertribe that you will be needing to have your current clothes mended, washed and whatnot. After all you don't want to look like a street rat in front of everyone in the temple. Better get to it!"

Taizen smirked some more. "And somewhere inside, I sorta want that, but, no. I'm not worth losing sleep over." He said promptly, "I'm worth mountains of wealth of course, but sleep is something you can never get back on that night." He had felt like spouting off some sort of nonsese, if it had been Taikai, then he wou8ld not appreciate the sagacity, howdare Taizen try to usurp his place...?
"Well, Watertribe clothing isn't really neccesary for the show, it's not going to be freezing, and the lighter it is, the better." He made a gesture to the Yukata. "It's very light by the way, I'd love to wear it for the show, and I am male, so washing my clothes doesn't seem so appealing right now..." Helooked thoughtful. "I wonder why... I guess I might as well, wear something else..." This was of course, Taizens abstract way of telling Niima, that he'd like to wear the Yukata, but not if she had to lose sleep over it.

"Boy you don't beat around the bush do you?" She chuckled and shook her head, motioning with a palm for him to take the Yukata off. She went back to her materials, pulling out the darker cloth for the collar lining and hem. With her fingers she measured out a few stripes while he was busy doing..whatever.
"So seems your confidence has been fixed, I guess you won't be having no problems with the performance? Figured out what you are going to do and whatnot?" Pulling a thin strip of cloth that had been cut, she began to tie up her hair, carefully tucking her bangs behind her ears and out of her face. She had alot of work ahead of her it seemed.

"Now what would be the point of that...?" He asked kindly, before taking theYukata off, and putting his other clothes back on. Taking a bit of time to fold the Yukata for Niima.
"My confidence is fine now, but by tomorrow, all Ican do is hope Idon't mess up too bad." Taizen watched Niima fix her hair vefore continuing. "Taikai wanted me to go through a few of the regular motions before I get into anything big." He sighed. "The crazy guy... He expects me to shatter a giant ball of ice- right over my head!- and move the shards around... Can you beleive that? He even suggested attacking me for the Audiences pleasure!I said no, but Ican't really stop him iff he chooses to."
