Why I joined this guild: I joined mainly to try and get some incite into my current novel project, to read others writing and take from it new tools of the trade, advance my lexicon, meet new people, and possibly beta read for anyone who wants a real hard a** nit picker or as I like to put it "Literary Consultant", I've been doing it for ten years, yeah, since I was 10, so I'm pretty good.
What I expect out of this guild: I don't expect anything but the worst, that's my sinicism talking, I hope for the best and expect the worst!
What I expect out of the Crew Members of this guild: Well I don't know anyone of them formally or even informally, I know they can't be all bad, letting me into the guild! Thanks guys!
Hello everyone! I'm new, obviously, and want to thank the staff for giving me this nifty badge that says I'm part of a collective group of intellectuals! I guess I'll say something about myself to start off.
I live in Canada, am attending university for English, literary studies and Japanese. I want to be a teacher in the near future and go to Japan to hopefully make a life there teaching ESL (English as Second Language for those who aren't familiar with the term). If I can't, then I'll return to boring old Canadia and teach highschool kids since I relate pretty well to them and have done several teaching co-ops in the past few years.
I love to write and read and pretty much feel like the posterboy for this guild's slogan

I just completed my first novel this summer, it's a reality/fantasy project, very twisted story, I should have some of it up later on for people to tear apart and hopefully lend me some of their own ideas and knowledges. I hope to one day publish my novel along with making it a successful series for teens to enjoy.
Hmm, well that sums me up in a nutshell, any questions just ask, I'm pretty liberal.
