xD that sounds like fun... a special, supper big ceremony... much fun for that, I'm thinking.
The pride seems big on ceremonies... would there also be ceremonies for times of the year or something?

IDEA:
Ceremony:
One day of each year, the lions are allowed to walk in the sunlight, however, must return by nightfall.
Special ceremony.

((Hmmm... Maybe when they're about to go they could put white clay on their faces, sorta as if to say that it would reflect the sun and keep them safe from it's sunlight? ^^ If that makes sense. XD Cuz mostly they have dark fur and that pulls in sun but the white clay would reflect it and keep the sun from tainting them. XD)) ninja

Or they could all go out wearing pelts of their victims. A sort of thing where they believe they borrow the strength of their victims to face unafraid in the daylight?

The clay sounds good, as does the ceremony/special day. Maybe both pelts and clay? With special herbs? xD

Now, how does anyone feel about letting other species into the pride AS LONG as they obey the rules of the pride?

((*Raises a rather baised hand* XD As long as they conform to the rules of the pride there shouldn't be a problem right? =O Mostly the pride is secluded from others, so there's no reason why they shouldn't at least TRY and accept other species of cat right? Cuz if it's on the basis of hunting and such, it would give them more of a variety in what they got. Cuz cheetahs are much faster and can get smaller prey and such vs. leopards who can get food much faster and keep it safer. ^^)) ninja
