@Akila: Unfortunatly, you just missed this years. It was July 6th-8th. They usually host them around the beginning of July. You may want to take a look at the website anyway.

@Akila: When are you going to New England, and to what state? ^^ I'm most likely going to go to New York again this winter (BK, we can meet up again if you'd like; it's at the same time as last year and we're doing the same general thing) so it would be awsome if we could meet up. (but that would be really lucky timing...) Ah, but I totally wasn't going to spend the money to go to New York again except this year... the Broadway we're seeing is WICKED!!! ;_; I've dreamed of seeing if ever since I read the book, and I just couldn't turn down an opportunity! XD;;
And yes, Anizona fails... oh, we also have the Matsuri Festival (which means Festival Festival...) but that's more just like a small, two-day festival for Japanese culture in general that takes place outside. It's only like a half-hour drive for me and is free to get in, so I go almost every year... they have really good food, but it's always crowded.
But don't worry about the pictures; we can wait. XD
@BK: I think I'll just keep my hopes up to going to Anime Expo one year... it's in driving distance at least...

@Kitsune: I'm not sure yet.... my mom says we might try to go to New York some week during winter too... O_O; ... or else, we're going next summer. I'm not sure yet... it's hard to afford a trip with me going to college... but we did plan on going.
Gah! I couldn't even imagine being lucky enough able to meet you - cause when I'm going I'm also going to try to meet another one of my other online friends. (One reason I wanted to go... XD wink , that'd be soooo super special awesome though, we could have one massive anime orgy fest!!! XD; Okay, not quite to that extent but you guys have a lot in common. (We're all Yuugiou yaoi fans for starters...) =B
But, I'm going to Mass at one point... and Maine, NY, NH... um, yea, we hop around since my relatives are there. Plus I met a new friend this week who is visiting from NJ... so I'll probably wanna meet her too... I'm sure we'll need more than one trip to do all that tho. I kinda wanna move back east for a month or two in a few years. Just cause.
Damn it, why can't stuff be over here! Everybody seems to be far away and over there.... *sob*
Haha, but you should totally go to Yaoi con when you're the right age! You can visit San Fransisco too... *_* I can't wait till October... tehe.

Well, we really will have to rely on luck then, because I'm only gonna be in NY for a few days, and we have a strict schedule. ^^;; Only real meeting times will be when we have a few hours to go shopping on certain streets, unless you wanna buy tickets to get into a museum. XD Ah, but you could possibly meet BK too; she lives in NY.

I decided to make a new list of random stuff about me. XD Here I goooo~!
1) I was born and raised in the US of A, but I hate American music.
2) I've been teaching myself Japanese since I was 13. (That was 5 years ago, by the way. =D)
3) I was homeschooled all of my life. (I've graduated now tho'. <3)
4) I'm really athletic. I love all sports. XD
5) I'm really competitive when it comes to sports and video games. XD
6) I never wear make-up.
7) My first anime was Sailor Moon.
8 ) My first anime obsession was Yuugiou.
9) I'm part German, Irish, Scotish, Cherokee Indian, Italian, and several other races. xD;
10) I'm pretty pale, but when I was a kid, I used to have a dark brown tan. XD
11) I've been actively looking for a job for 3 years now, but I haven't been able to get one. ;-; (Hiring freezes are everywhere. emo )
12) I haven't had a boyfriend before. -le gasp!- xD Though I have been romantically involved with some before a little. XD;
13) I finally went to my first concert back in November. XD
14) I've only been Trick or Treating twice in my life.
15) I love horror movies and horror novels.
16) I also love mystery novels.
17) I'm really shy around new people so sometimes I seem anti-social. (It only takes about 30 minutes for me to get over it though. XD;; )
18 ) I want to apply for the JET Program after college. =D
19) I've always been very tomboyish. xD
20) I've been known to beat up guys when they pick fights with me. ._.;;
21) I love to write storys and role-play, but I can never keep my mind on it long enough. D=
22) I daydream a lot. Probably more than what's good for me. xD
23) I hate MySpace, but I have one so that I can stalk keep track of my favorite bands. =3
24) I'm an item whore on here! XD I always keep everything that I get from the Daily Chance or the Aquariums. But I sell doubles. XD
25) Even though I don't play the Yuugiou TCG often, I love my deck and I'd never get rid of it. XD;;

I've been looking for a while myself, and nada.
Every now and then, someone will suggest I get a job, and I have to force myself to resist the urge to kick them in the face and scream "THANKS SO MUCH, THAT NEVER OCCURRED TO ME BEFORE, YOU MORON" D<"
I know you didn't need to know that, but oh well.
I realised I never did this myself, so while I'm here, why not?
1) I dye my hair a lot. I'm a blonde at the moment, but my hair has been brown, black, blue-black, purple and red before.
2) I have brown eyes, and used to get very upset when I was a kid that cartoon girls never had brown eyes.
Except Belle from Beauty and the Beast, but I was an idiot child
3) I hero-worship Eva Peron
4) I have a thing for dead guys, apparently. Freddie Mercury and Rex Harrison have both been fancied by me.
5) H.G. Wells is my favourite author
6) I'd like to one day work in the publishing industry. Although I'd much rather just marry a billionaire nonagenarian
7) Gentlemen Prefer Blondes is my favourite movie
8 ) I still have the cuddly toy monkey that was given to me when I was born.
9) I get migraines a lot through stress. =[
10) I can't be bothered to think of any more, go away.

Ugh! I know what you mean. My relatives ask me all the time "Why aren't you looking for a job?", "Why don't you have a job yet?", "Are you still looking for a job?", etc. I get so angry when they do it. >-< It makes me feel like a loser 'cause I haven't been able to get one. ;-;

So, we both know people who are blissfully unaware that a recession is happening.
I feel bad too. No matter how much I do towards finding something, it always feels like I should have done more. I've started to dislike the word 'job' because I hear "that thing that other people can get easily and you have no chance in hell of getting, you failure".
I know that's irrational, but so is my brain.
We're not the losers, the employers missing out on us are. emo

Oh, gawd, I know what you mean. D; That's exactly how I feel about it. Especially when my friends talk about how well their job interviews went and how easy it's been for them to find a job. ._.;;

Mhmm. I don't think people believe me when I say I've been trying, because I've been unemployed for so damn long, and I'm only looking for menial jobs. At least it's convinced me to give up on focusing on that and finish my useless degree. Because this is so BOOORING ]x

I know what you mean. ._.;; I've been looking for a job for so long, I'm almost ready to give up, but I really need something. o-o Especially since I intend to go to college. I need some way of paying off whatever the grants and scholarships don't. ._.;;
Also, I just want to work. Dx I have nothing else to do with my time right now. I just graduated 3 weeks ago so... All I have is free time. xP
