With a single nod Hanyuu takes a few more steps in, just enough to submerge her back paws and quite a way upto her head at the front. "I can flail!" she says in a semi-sarcastic enthusiastic voice.
Then she notices a fish... What seems to be a salmon? "Fish... bad fish..." she grunts, she really hated fish...

Aspyn giggled. "It's okay, Han. It's just a fishy. They won't hurt you." she coaxes Han out a little further, until the water reaches her neck. "See? You havn't died yet."

"Fish.. Are.. What's the word I’m searching for..." she grumbles. "A scaley devil, yes, scaly evil and they don't even taste nice..." yes, she was a hypochondriac. But she really hated fish...
"I could die though, if a rabid salmon grabs my leg and pulls me under, like in Jaws..." she quips, not really minding being in the water as much as the fish being near her.

"Hanyuu, this is the backyard, not the middle of the ocean." she stated shortly with a laugh.
"Now, once you can't touch the bottom," she released the words easily so not to scare Han, "Just keep the walking/flailing motion, only faster. That should keep you up."

"True..." she says with a small chuckle. And she couldn't see any more fish. An automatic bonus
"Ok.." she says as her paws slowly slip away from the lakes murky bed of silt. But for some reason... Hanyuu had a mischievous glint in her eyes... I wonder why?

Aspyn didn't notice the look. She was too busy watching Hanyuu's legs and protectively extending her front paw in case her friend lost her footing or began to sink. "Yeah, like that!" she muttered, keeping her eyes downward with a grin. "You're doin' awesome, Han. Just keep it up like that and you'll get it in no time."

Her back legs were just about to leave the silt as she grins upto Aspyn, it wasn't a smarmy grin... More of a sarcastic funny ‘ha-ha’ grin.
She then took in a subtle deep breath and pushed off from the silt. Speeding off infront of Aspyn. Her head and body slowly and completely submerging under the crisp water of the lake.
[ That's kick a** :O -Made her want to continue writing her book.- Try using a few more hers. I have a thing that the name of the character used too many times makes me loose a bit of interest. I blame some rubbish little horror books I used to read. ]

Aspyn's smile faltered as Hanyuu slid far past her. About to congratulate her on her courage, she stopped as she saw her friend go under. Speeding up, she swam to the spot where she aproximated Hanyuu's submergence. She waited for a few seconds, nervously, for her to re-surface, telling herself she was just enjoying the water. She was just doing very, very well.

[ xD It's currently written in an A4 pad. And is very rough.... Needs a lot work. ;3 YAY, Contradictions xD ]
Using the speed in her legs to her advantage Hanyuu was obviously a natural swimmer. A very masculine, speedy, furry swimmer.
Finally stopping and resting silently on the bottom of the lake, Hanyuu looks upto the legs of her pink friend. Aspyn seemed to be looking around for her. Maybe this was mean.... Maybe she'd learnt the horrible lesson of taunting your friends from Toby. Maybe she'd have to smack Toby for making her think something like this...
Well anyway... Hanyuu pushes off from the bottom, that she camouflages with oh so well, and pops her head up next to Aspyn. Her legs kicking just as if she were running, her tail playing a little part in all this too. She was using it as a sort of propeller.
[ I might write another one actually... But do you mind if I send you a description of one of my beloved characters? I'm having a custom pet made just like it. n___n; ]

Aspyn cried out and fell backwards with a splash. Coming up again, she said loudly, "Hanyuu!! God, you scared me! You said you couldn't swim! Went you went bounding off like that, I thought I was gonna have to go after you! You just...dissapeared!" She's breathing heavily from surprise.

"Heh, heh, Sorry 'bout that.." she said quietly, her tails tip poking out of the top of the water. "Just had the sudden urge to do that..." she continued "If it's like running then, I'm good at running, so..." she stopped again, much like a broken engine spluttering on and off.

She sighed a wilted, defeated sigh. "Yeah...just don't ever do that to me again, okay? Dammit..." she mutters as her nerves calm down. "And yes...it's a lot like running...and you're damn good at both."

"Soooo sorry~" she says swimming closer, wrapping her soggy arms around Aspyn's neck. "I'll try and hold back my urge to be dumb again." she nods once, a strong heartfelt nod.
