Captain J. Kurisutofa Well, let's just say that you have approximatley three to four days before the 'HMS Boadicea' comes alongside and makes herself known you therefore have a choice: A:- Begin writing a detailed account of how you came to be one of His Magesty's finest and when the Boadicea comes in contact, you RP you're having fallen overboard and the crew of the Lady shall bring you aboard. Now our being presented as a plauge ship, you'd have to stay aboard the Brig until proven well and healthy.. or more likely indefinitley. B:- Wait until we make port and spend here to eternity writing your backstory. ( rofl And he's totally serious too. I think A's your best choice here. )

Nope: Brig won't work. We're not coming aboard, so even if you were in the brig it wouldn't do you any good. So, you'll just have to find alternative means.
As for the Profile page, try the Focstle Subforum.

Nope, still won't work:
Why would a man jump from one perfectly good ship to a plauge ship that is destined to be taken by the forementioned ship that is supposed to do the taking? Just go with what I suggested. Savvy?

We won't be landing for quite sometime, and if I didn't express myself clearly enough, I'll say it now for the record:
I WANT YOU TO JOIN IN THE ROLEPLAY ONCE THE HMS 'BOADICEA' COMES INTO CLOSE CONTACT WITH THE LADY WASHINGTON.
Got that?

Pressed (Against your will...) Able-Handed Sailor of Unknown Origins.
In the time of our roleplay, the English were notorious for illegaly pressing men into service for their armed forces, particularly the Royal Navy. Abolishing Impressment in the year 1810, certain individuals in the English Navy continued to take men from the streets by way of Press-Gangs, which consisted of a large group of strong sailors lead by an officer who would go through the portside villages shanghai'ing men who were obviously of sound body enough to pull a rope and fight their guns for them.
An impressed seaman would awake in the bowels of a Man-of-War bound for an unknown destination. When the chance arose, an impressed seaman would attempt to flee the ship by any means necessary: by swimming ashore or death if necessary. The Articles of War stated that the punishment for running from the ship was death, so why not chance it?
So, in the short of things please work with what I'm graciously giving you for plot. I promise you it's good stuff. Oh and for the record, the only soldiers aboard a naval ship are the small troop of Marines. Other than that, the men aboard ship are Able-Bodied Seamen & Naval Officers.

Much appreciated. I promsie you, the roleplay is worth waiting for. Miss Aria Starman has been waiting for a few months now. Unfortunately, this roleplay goes slowly if I'm not around to get it hopping.

Captain J. Kurisutofa Much appreciated. I promsie you, the roleplay is worth waiting for. Miss Aria Starman has been waiting for a few months now. Unfortunately, this roleplay goes slowly if I'm not around to get it hopping. Anytime now...I can sense it on the horizon, it just seems like it's taking an eternity. I've been finding things to occupy my time while waiting so it's no big deal.
