Mike's eyes shot open when Ariko entered. His face was as red as Rei's hair, but the embarressed smile colored it nicely. "Go... Gomen... Hehehe..." He fiddled around with his shirt slightly nervously. He hadn't really ment to do that in somewhere a little more public than he wanted to. Suddenly he felt really bad for teasing Ariko.

When Ariko made his small, trite comment about things in his bed, Michael had to take the chance. "Well, Rei-kuns with me now so you'll have to find some other man to do 'that' with in your bed." He stuck his tongue out playfully.

Sachiko giggled at Michael's snappy comeback, hearing it just as she stepped back into the room.

"Good one, Yohokiro-san," she replied stepping further into the room, hands clasped before her. "Inoue-san, now that you seem to be feeling better, I thought you'd like to know I brught your kimono for the dance. It got a little dust on it, but I'm sure you can brush it right off... there's nothing major, ne?"

reiku's eyes grew wide at Michael's comment and his blush seemed to double, but he giggled nervously in an effort to brush it off. It wasn't as though either of them knew about that old crush he had onAriko. He'd never told anyone. he was unbelievably grateful for Sachiko's reemergence.

"Oh... D-domo, Shinohara-san.... you're too kind, ne?"

Ariko wanted to scream at the top of his lungs. 'I AM NOT GAY!! WE'RE JUST FRIENDS DAMMIT!!' But Sachiko's words in the bathroom helped push away a bit of the sting of Micheal's words. It really only mattered that Sachiko knew he was straight, but she had assured him that the general consensus believed him to be. A few exceptions aside.

"Hai,....it should come right off Reiku. Good thing we weren't in the cafeteria though,....orange sauce can be a killer on stuff like that." He was actually happy he had slipped his yukata into his book bag before Reiku had snapped. Otherwise it would be just as dusty as his friends, and the cloud in the room would have been horrible.

"So what are we gonna do now? Yahtzee's out, since we already know I'm the champ here, ne." He looked to Reiku and Micheal both, remembering that neither of them knew a lick about the game. Sachiko may have known how to play, but the game was little fun without at least 3 people.

"Hai hai, wakatta, Ariko-kun. I'm just teasing you." He grinned. "Don't get mad." He winked at Sachiko when she produced Reiku's kimono. His expression was of thanks to her. She had watched after both of them so well. He couldn't express in words how thankful he was to her. He could only smile.

Realizing that he too had a yukata to take care of, he picked it off of the floor near the door to the hallway. He shook his head. "I'm sucha' butterfingers." He really didn't notice the splice of the American idiom. It just happened that he said it in English.

"Don't worry about me Mike,....or your yukata. My floor actually is pretty clean, as long as people know how to carry their coffee." He looked at Reiku still sitting on the bed and smiled, glad to see his friend being in much better spirits than he had been since they left the student union.

"Well Sachi,...did you want to go or not? You never did answer me when I asked." He was hoping she wouldn't be so scared about the curfew and go to the roof with him tonight. He knew there was no way she would be shocked if they made it to his normal spot. But then again, she was probably still nervous about being alone with him in general.

"Bu-ta-fin-ga?" Sachiko repeated the unfamiliar phrase... or rather, attempted to. Still, even she knew that her pronunciation was atrocious. She giggled softly, shaking her head at her verbal butchering. She tilted her head curiously to Reiku as she brought the kimono to him, placing the cerulean material into his hands.

Reiku shrugged, not too familiar with te term himself. he didn't trust him to say it anybetter than Sachiko had, however, so he decided not to try. He accepted the kimono from Sachiko's hands and pressed it close to his chest with a smile.... Michael had said he had no problem with it, right? He hoped he wasn't misremembering things... it tended to happen after on of his ...episodes.

"H-hai, Sato's floor is disgustingly immaculate. You could eat off it, ne? He's one of those clean freaks." He stuck his tongue out t Ariko. "I said it before, I'll say it again. It was your own fault for that coffee being spilled. I won't apologize, ne?"

Sachiko looked to Ariko with a smile of her own. She approached the boy, looping her fingers through his as her dark brows lifted quizzically.

"Coffee?" She giggled softly before resting her head against his arm. "Oh... I don't know, Ariko... I haven't broken curfew since my first day here, ne.... Oh... All right. Why not?"

"Here we go again,....didn't we go through this already. All I want is a new shirt for the one that got ruined. It would work if I had desert camoflogue on, but otherwise it's a rag now." He was still slightly bitter that Reiku still placed the blame on him about the coffee on the floor, but as long as the boy owned up to his end of the bargain he was fine with it.

"Hai hai Sachi, coffee. Reiku came into the room at a bad time and spilled his coffee on the floor. Then he had the nerve to use one of my shirts to clean it up." He shrugged before folding his arms across his chest, still waiting patiently for her decision about going to the roof tonight. He didn't have to wait long, and his face beamed at the subsequent answer.

"Don't worry Sachi, I promise nothing bad will happen." Hopefully she didn't think he was just trying to get her alone to get up her skirt, although he wouldn't mind the chance. He wouldn't try to pressure her into anything, he already cared too much about her to make her feel uneasy about him.

He blushed when Sachi pointed out his lapse. "Etooo... Gomen nasai. I guess it comes from living in America for a while. It means a person who can't keep a hold of something. Butter on your fingers, ne?" He scratched his head with a foolish grin.

Sachiko smiled at the promise her boyfriend made her, then looked to Michael as he elaborated on his American idiom She nodded gratefully at the explanation given, offering another smile to him.

"Ah, I think I get it... So you're American? Saggoi, Yohokiro-san! I went once, when I was little, to visit my aunt. It was fun, ne..."

Reiku groaned softly as he climbed off of Ariko's bed. His body ached something terrible. Slinging his kimono over his arm he looked to Sachiko.

"You too, huh? I'm starting to feel like I'm the only one who's never been, ne? What about you Ariko-kun?"
PostPosted: Mon Oct 02, 2006 7:30 pm

Ariko shook his head with a smile as he sat upon his desk. "Iie,...never been there. Never really wanted to go either. I'm content with good old Tokyo any day of the week." He smiled a bit as he thought about being free again, walking the streets at night for no good reason. But there was one major problem with being free one day,....Sachiko probably wouldn't be there with him.

The thought dimmed his smile for a moment, but as his eyes fell back upon the girl it returned once again. It wasn't important if they were both freed together, they were both here now. And if he had any say i the matter, he was going to make every minute with her worth it.

"So Reiku, you and Mike got any plans besides the dance?" He really didn't have much to say, but dead air was a killer. He just didn't want anyone to notice his little lapse in attentiveness, then they would all be wondering why he was so out of it.

"iie, none that I can think of... I..." His cheeks colored deeply as he bowed his head. But the cat was out of the bag now, at least to those present. no sense i hiding it now.

"After what happened before.... I... I really should probably go... take my.... medication, ne..." God, he hated that everyone here knew what it was for now, or at the very least suspected. It was humiliating. No one looked at you funny whenthey thought you were just treating migraines.... but multiple personalities... that's not something so easily acceptable. He felt like a zoo exhibit.

"Gomen nasai, Shinohara-san.... really... I didn't mean.. I'm sorry, ne..."

"Oi, Inoue-san, you don't have to keep apologizing, ne... And you don't have to keep being so formal with me. We're friends, ne? You can call me Sachiko."
PostPosted: Wed Oct 04, 2006 11:56 am

Ariko could see the bit of distress crossing his friends face as he made mention of taking his medicine. He was obviously embarrassed that they now knew what the meds were really for. Hopping from the desk, he walked across the room and sat down beside Reiku, nudging him with an elbow and smiling at the timid boy.

"It's alright Reiku, we're all friends, ne? No reason to be scared of us knowing about your problem, we're all here to help you." Ariko placed a hand on the boys shoulder, smiling warmly as he tried to ease his mind. "None of us are mad at you Reiku, we just want you to know that we'll be there for you."

"Ah, actualy I'm half American, half Japanese. My mother was American, and I lived for a long time there, until she... um... yeah." He still couldn't really say it, but at least he wasn't crying.

He turned to Michael after the medicinal statement. He squated down, bringing his face on the same level as Reiku. "Hey, Ariko-kun's right. We're all friends here. Nothing leaves our confidence, okay? We all love you in some form, right?" He grinned and put his finger under Rei's chin. "I love most of all, yo."

Reiku blushed, resisted the urge to dart his chocolate gaze from Michael's violet one to the floor. A slight, nervous smile touched his lips and he nodded shortly.

"h-hai, My-kun..." He reached up to his chin, taking Michael's hand into his own, and uttering that soft, nervous giggle of his that was becoming awfully familiar for one who was pretty much known for showing no other emotion besides extreme displeasure.

"Enough of the mushy stuff in front of Ariko, ne?" Not that he minded one bit, but he could practically hear Ariko groaning in exasperation. "I think it makes him uncomfortable... but... we can go to my room, ne? I mean they made plans... you guys did make plans, ne? You better get moving before it gets too close to curfew.. don't want to draw notice, ne?"

Climbing a bit painfully to his feet, he began to tow Michael towards the door.

"Ja ne Ariko... Shino----Sachiko-san.... let's meet up for breakfast, ne?"
