Thanks for the advice ^^ I've been working things over in my head allday, and i've narrowed down my mental list. I'm still unsure whether to have a male or female character, though, so i'll design both, then ask which character will be more intresting, then work on the animal choices more ^^

Here's a couple of things I think would be very fun, but would rather not go for myself:

A bulimic / anorexic becoming a White's tree frog. Those things do NOT stop eating so long as you keep giving them food, and they're dumb as dirt. XD Is this generation of Moreau a misogynist, by any chance? (well, I gather at the very least he's a misanthropist.)

A Fenrisulfr combo. HOORAY NORSE MYTHOLOGY! Okay, this idea is very very shaky, but basically it would provide for exploring into animal traits that aren't superficially physical. Take a largish wolf (dire wolf)? as a body base, add the never-stops-growing trait of elephants, and add the length and power of a crocodile jaw! Instant doombringing canine! There's issues to work out such as the fact that realistically this would be very ungainly and unable to support itself, but it's just a very rough draft.

An elderly person becoming a coelecanth. This is a really frivolous idea- just take any crabby old person who complains about their oldness, and make them a coelecanth to emphasize the fact that LOL U R OLD.

A small child becoming broccoli. Ironic, doubly so because of the iron content in broccoli! *bricked* Another frivolous idea. XD~

Pokemon! Oh god not another frivolous idea! Okay, so this is really, really, really out there, but maybe one of the labtechs leaks to a niece / nephew / young relative what Feral Labs's secret project is, and said kid innocently requests that they try and make . This earns them a one-way ticket to the island to become their favorite Pokemon! XD;; You can shoot me now. Please.

Yup, there is. The blue tang Sayuri is going for falls into this family. And... one of them's called a doctorfish, apparently! XD

I want Casey to be a black-footed ferret. Are there currently any other ferrets on IoDM, or is the whole rodent thing cliche'd?
I'm hoping for a unique characture.
(Though my first draft of her past is a common senario. Unloving parents, gives up on life, nothing better to do, etc. I'm going to revise it untill I come up with somthing interesting.)

I know. I ment those as seperate questions. If I couldnt get black footed ferret syrum I was going to look into chinchillas, rabbits, girbles or sugar gliders (which are actually more related to marsupials than rodents.)

I've done some research. They are nocturnal, and burrow underground. They feed mainly on prariedogs, but they may also eat mice and other small rodents. They are an endangered species. They were once thought to be extinct, but a small group was found and we are trying to bring them back. I want to establish which animal I want before I make plans.
