Mine is something of an inside joke. I have a singing dragon I send to give people who annoy me headaches.

Acouple of years ago I was really upseted with Vampires (I still am but less now) And my character was a girl so I just took out the ending and added the one I have now and a lot of people think Vampires are Evil so I put Wicked because it sounded cooler!

Well I did some reasearch for my name. If I remeber right, Cho means star in Japanese... and Yuriko means Child of Yuri, and Yuri means Lily. My dad is Named Yuri, so thats where the whole child of Yuri comes in to play. ... But dont get weirded out, Yuri has Russian roots and is a common boys' name there as well as a girls' in Japan. And Ta Da!~ Thats the origin of my Gaian name.

Hmm... Now let's see if I remember why exactly my avatar has this name. My first account on Gaia had the name Dragon Lilly, though I do not quite remember why. I think I was somewhat obsessed with dragons at the time; the lilly part came from the flower, I believe. When I created my new account, the name was ShadowXCat, after the name I have in one of my favorite online games. I changed the name to that account to Lillian Ashe; Lillian from my first account, and Ashe from my second. (Lilly became Lillian; Shadow became Ashe.)

Mine's from mythology. I thought it was all obscure and cool... and then they're making a movie now, Tristan & Isolde.
PS: La Belle Isolde is just a French version of the name, my mom has a tacky 80's picture called that.

I read The Crystal Cave by Mary Stewart and Merlin's name was Emrys, which I thought sounded really cool, but I wanted to make it my own so I substituted a Y for the E.

I found it buried somewhere deep in a book on the history of witchcraft and it's relation to other faiths. Naphthalim is a fallen Seraphim.
