"Mm. He's on a constant sugar-high... I get dizzy just watching him, but it makes me smile... his cheerfulness."
His curiosity over the matter had been down at the back of his mind; Was Trela's skin rough like a snake's? He'd managed to not touch her, mainly out of fear that she would be offended, but it was picking at him.
Picking, picking, pickpickpickpick. He had to know. Now.
"I'm really sorry if this offends you... but I just have to know..." A hand reached out, claws scrapping against the grass before his hand found Trela's tail, and he gently, and slowly ran it along the surface.
It -did- feel like snake skin... Gross, but cool, all at the same time! He pulled his hand away, tucked it back to where it was.
"Sorry, I just had to know if your skin was like a Snake's, or if it was more human feeling..."

Trela stiffled a giggle as he ran his hand down her tail; being someone ticklish, it was hard not to laugh.
Smirking, she shrugged, 'Apparently a lot of people are both intimidated and curious about Nahzeetial; curious about if we're actually half snake, or just look it.' Sighing, she mumbled, 'Which is why, I'm so snappy ... weird looks, you know?' Laughing, she loosened the awkward-statement by saying, 'Then again, I've never see a wolf-boy.' A grin.
'Anyways, no. I'm not offended.' Petting her tail she added, 'It's all real. Well ... from the ribs down is snake-like ... except the hips; we've got human hips.' Trela nodded matter-of-factly.

"That's actually pretty neat... I guess I was always afraid of them from the stories I'd heard..."
He gave a soft chuckle, "My family was big on altering us when we were born. I have a brother that's part Fossa, my father's part Bear, and my mother was part fox, with two tails instead of one. My cousins were rodents, one of them was a Rat, and the other a mouse, while my aunt and uncles were rabbits..."
He sighed, and rested his head on his arms. His conversation with himself, was a revelation, but at the same time, it made it harder not to think of Lines.
He was glad he was on his stomach. Very glad.

Trela nodded and looked at the ground uncomfortably, 'Some of those stories are probably true ...' She sighed, 'Nahzeetial don't have very good reputations.' Shrugging, she added, 'But, we're all different.'
Trela smirked, 'That's pretty neat ... and ... I guess if you look at it a certian way, I'm an altered human too! Just with a snake ... and a lot more altered.'
Sighing, she glanced over Akira's features. It was different. Only little things about him were changed. She looked like a snake with arms. But whatever; she was proud to be a Keres.

Akira chuckled, "You're nice for a Nahzeetial, maybe the rest are different or the same, but you're nice, and honest, so I know if you're in a bad mood one day, I'll just stay away." He smiled and tried to shift, so the new sensation in his lower region would stop, but that only seemed to make it worse.
Worse enough for him to blush anyway. He looked away, wondering what it was, mostly, and why his thoughts of Lines triggered it.

Trela giggled, 'Thanks, and I don't think you'll have to worry too much. On bad days, my anger is usually targetted to those I don't like, or just generally piss me off.' She paused, 'But you're pretty cool, so you're on my good list.' She smiled.
It was then, she noticed he was blushing as he shifted, 'Everything alright, Akira?'

"Uhh... I dunno..." He managed, he shifted again, but the pinkness deepened, and he looked away again.
"I'm not sure what's going on... This is new to me. But it feels... Uhm..." He pressed his face into his hands, his wings giving a jerk. He'd never been told the birds and the bees, or about sexuality, or what happens when you reach puberty, but it appeared he was learning the first lesson.
It was completely random.

Taken back by his wings jerking, she ignored it. Still not sure was was going on, she extended her hand to rub his back. That usually made people feel better. She didn't know why though. Instead, she decided against it, incase he had a spazz attack or something.
Placing her hand on his shoulder, she looked at him, 'What? Akira? What's wrong? Stomach ache?'
Pooor Trela. She had no idea; because he was still on his stomach.

It took a few moments, but the sensation went away. Although, there was a new strange feeling inplace of it. It sort of went away after a while of awkward silence.
Stomach ache? Oh, that'd be a good cover... because he had absolutely no idea what the hell just happened.
"Yeah, I think I ate something bad... Or maybe the tea, with Cerceris..."
Come to think of it, maybe it was the tea? It relaxed him so much, maybe that caused this too? He could ask Cerceris, or Aerin...

Trela sat quietly just looking at Akira for any sort of sign.
After a very awkward silence, he broke it. Thank god.
Trela rubbed his back for a second, then pulled away and smiled, nodding, 'Feel a bit better now, though?'
For a moment, Trela wondered who Cerceris was; probably just another altered-human at the school ... maybe a staff member.

"Yeah, a little better..." He mumbled, shifting to make sure the retaliation wouldn't come back, and he sighed when it didn't. Whatever it was, was gone now.
His tail gave a lazy twitch, and he gave a soft yawn, feeling like something to nibble on, or a rest. But he was still with Trela, so he rested the side of his head on his arms, and watched her.
"I'm fine... just a queezy stomach moment."

Trela smiled softly. It was good he was feeling better, to say the least. But he looked tired. Trela, herself, was feeling a bit lazy. Resting her head on the tree trunk, she sighed. Man, the bark was not a very good pillow at all.
'Yeah ... stomach pain sucks. It's good that you're feeling a bit better though.' She looked at him and smiled softly; tail curling up underneath her, she yawned.

After noticing that Trela seemed a bit tired, too, he figured, maybe they could go take another nap.
"Seems like a lazy day, we could go take another nap or something?" He thought back, and gave a chuckle.
"Just don't fall asleep like Cerceris did... Carrying an Aanida, and a Nahzeetial in the span of a few days, seems a bit odd."

Trela smirked, 'A nap sounds nice.' Lazily, she giggled, 'And don't worry. I won't fall asleep on you.'
At the mention of Cerceris and Aanida, she kept that in the back of her mind. So, this Cerceris character was the Aanida of the school? Wonder if she was related to those ... nevermind.

He chuckled, his tail wagging, "Woot!"
He shifted to his side and leaned on his knees, stretching out luxuriously, his wings stretching out as well. Then he stood and put his hands in his pockets, his tail swishing softly from side to side.
"I'm gonna go sleep off the stomach weirdness, so, I guess I'll see you around, huh? Ping me if you ever need me for anything," he said, with a smile.
Actually, he'd probably go have a shower before he napped, since he neglected to take one when he woke up.
