|Oh Lordy. Poor Ani's got as many issues as Ro does.|
Finishing off the delicious treat, Rojiza notices something....very wrong with her friend. She frowns and goes over to Ani and touches her shoulder, concern filling her eyes.
The baker had noticed it too. "What's wrong, child? Don't you like it?"

As Ani opened her eyes she laughed, "Hehe, fudge..." Her hands shook a little, barely noticable at all, and her laughing soon became less childlike and innocent. "Ani?...Ani?" Leshya'e grabbed her daughter's shoulder and leaned down to look at her, "What's going on with you?" Anezka lifted her gave from the fudge to be eye-to-eye with her mother, grumbling to both her and Rojiza "Leave me alone...Go away...My fudge" "What? No...Anezka Vujo! Where have your manners gone?" Right as Leshya'e finished her question, she had a slight flashback, words echoing in her head: Sweet sugars. Sweet sugars make a child... Not so sweet."no...Em...Caro...we have to find Valelldia...right away!" Anezka pulled away from her friend and her mother, snickering evily and whispering something to herself.

Hearing Lesh's frantic words, Rojiza darts out of the shop. None of them were as quick as her, and not half as adept at finding things. She searches about the town, scrabbling quickly to find the dark-haired gypsy woman. Caroline nods and then watches wide-eyed as her little Ro scrambles from the bakery. "Ro'll be back with Valelldia in no time," asserts Caroline. "None are quite so good at finding things as she."
During this, the round baker looks on in amazement. "What's wrong with her?" she asks, concerned. "She seemed like such a sweet child."

"She is...she was...I...I'm so sorry about this...I'm a bit miffed at the moment..." Leshya'e walked over to Anezka and tried to get her to stay in one spot, rather then wandering around the shop. "Stop eating...stop...stop it..." She tried, to no avail, to retrieve the fudge from her daughter's hands and mouth.

Valelldia, meanwhile, was walking down the cobbled streets, looking up at the sky and the beautiful day- marvelling at the friendliness of this beautiful little town (and trying not to let that last, awful experience while in a town mar her afternoon) when she saw the little squirrel-child, running full clip at her.
"Ro... whyever are you going so quickly? And where is your mother?"

Ro takes Val's hand and starts pulling her toward the bakery frantically. No time to explain and besides...she can't.
"As long as the child's alright, Mum. Would it help much if I put the sweets away?"

Valelldia realized was something wrong, so she ran along with the child- stopping only for breath when she was at the door of the bakery. Inside were Emelyn, Pierre, Caroline, Lesh and ...Anezka. Who was acting very strangely. She looked to the girl's mother.
"What happened?"

"Oh Val, Thanks be...it's Ani...she's acting like a rude little pixie all of a sudden, since she started eating that piece of fudge." She grabbed ahold of Val's elbow and pulled her close, "And I think it's something to do with what Hadassah said earlier...about sweet things making not so sweet or something...how do we fix her? and what's really wrong?"

"Wait," Val said, putting her chocolate-colored hand up to silence the woman temporarily. "Hadassah? Who is that? And what did they say about sweets?"

"My banya bird...she said something like 'sweet sugars make a child not so sweet'...i didn't think anything of it...until now...and now i'm in a panic." Leshya'e bit down on her lip and reached out to grip Valelldia's hips, "Please tell me you know what we can do"
Anezka finally found a place to sit down, though she wasn't sitting still. She was laying down on the floor with her legs kicked up in the air.

"Oh dear," the gypsy said, putting her hand, bedecked with jeweled rings aplenty, atop her mouth with thought. "I don't know why she would react such to sugar. But... if the Banya gave the warning, it probably means that she's not to have it."
Her eyes went wide at the little girl's near tantrum. She'd never seen anything like it before. But she had a strong thought that she'd be fine as soon as the sugar was out of her system.
"Here..." Val said, pulling a plain gold band from her finger. When it was off, she rolled it between her delicate thumb and forefinger, muttering an incantation as she did. Then she kissed it briefly, and passed it over to Lesh.
"Slip this on her finger..."

Yuka unpacked her few belongings on an available mattress hurriedly. She'd already wasted so much time trying to make the finicky Mitexi budge past the caravan door. Her last resort was the ragdoll rabbit, the duckling's most cherished belonging; she wrestled it away and held Bunny hostage, at the price of any sort of good mood from Mitexi.
With the sunlight on her fur again and the fresh air filling her lungs, Yuka has no choice but to smile. Sure, they lost about half the day, but the prospects of this sort of adventure is enough of a thrill to replace any missing hours.
Mitexi follows at her heels, glaring her beady dark eyes at the white fur. If it was any threat, she'd probably n** at her horrid guardian's heels!! Waddling at a slow pace, she steals a glance behind her at her Bunny. It drags not far behind, tied to a string and held by a wing. If it was clean before, it is certainly very dirty now.
Yuka smiles broadly over her shoulder at her companion, her orange hair tossing across her exposed shoulders. She is outfitted in gypsy attire in yellows and oranges with hints of green designs, but certainly she still maintains an outlandish look. The attempt at even looking gypsy makes her appear even more absurd.
"Where do you want to explore first?" she inquires with a song on her voice. Her Japanese accent is fading, but is still relatively evident in how she pronounces certain words. "I am certain you will find something you enjoy here."
Mitexi honks grudgingly, ruffling her chocolately feathers in disdain.

Poor rabbit. Never stood a chance. Not when it looked so inviting- perhaps it was all that love the creature had given to it, leaking out of it and seeming so wonderful to all around. Or perhaps it was just that the duck had it...
And the dog wanted it.
Feiro, the old, gnawed-down butcher's dog, with his freckled, potbelly stomach and his hanging jowls that disguised the fact he barely had any teeth left- somehow found the strength to run past Yuka and Mitexi at a full clip, grabbing up the ragdoll rabbit and continuing to go- straight into the middle of town.
...They would see his great, brown ears flopping as he happily flew into the main courtyard.

"Thank you..." Leshya'e took the ring and went over to Anezka. Grabbing her shoulders to sit her up, she slipped the ring onto her finger. Anezka tilted her head to the side and then let her eyelids slip shut, falling forward onto her mother's lap, sleeping.
[not sure what the ring should have done, but i figure sleep would be nice...lol]
