Bobby stood up and stretched, her extra nipples peaking out of her shirt. "I should probably get going. I don't really have anything to do, but I think I have impeded enough." She walked towards the door and turned around about halfway there, "If you want, you can keep the bag with food. I have more in my duplex."

The woman smiled. Her face hid the anger and sadness that was building up behind the mask. It wasn't Alec's fault, but now... well, she wanted to be alone. Unfortunately, this happened fairly often whenever her own misfortunes were brought up... surely, someone has it worse off then her, right?

Alec looked a little uncomfortable and perplexed when Bobby rose to leave, watching her make her way to the door before glancing down at the bag beside him. "Ah, thanks." He managed to say, feeling bad that he had obviously insulted or upset her somehow. "Seeya around, aye? Drop by?" He felt good when Bobby first came to visit, like he had nothing to fear and could trust and look up to her. Hopefully she'd be able to work out her inner demons soon enough.

Bobby smiled once more. She obviously was not very conscious of the bottom fangs, or chose to ignore their presence. Hopefully, they were not too intimidating. "Don't worry about me, I'm a big girl," the woman winked, as if to show there were no hard feelings.... it wasn't Alec's fault anyways.

At the door, the pig turned and saluted, "Definitely, wild horses couldn't keep me away!" That said, Bobby snuck out the door and closed it gently.

She walked back to her duplex, considering her options. The woman made plans, and in them, a lot of food was required.

Shelter From the Rain

Alec Derring
Alec stepped out from the doorway of his duplex, sneering up at the light misty drizzle that threatened to ruin his lovely hairstyle. Grumpily pulling the hood of his loose, charcoal sweater over his head, the punk boy placed a cig between his lips and slumped off down the line of duplexes. Hands stuffed into the pouch of his top, he lazily rummaged for a lighter until he came up to Antony's place, pounding a couple of times on the door with his covered fist.

Antoinette Devereux
Antony had decided to remain inside due to the rain, and was curled up comfortably on her couch in a (stolen) pair of Owl's boxers she had found at the bottom of her drawer and an old tank top. The shorts were low on her hips, not just because of her tails, but because they were more comfy that way. The knock caused her to look up and stich the mechanical pencil behind her ear before setting the sketchbook down on the coffee table.

Once she had meandered her way over and saw who was at her door did the squirrel woman open the door, raising an eyebrow at her visitor in greeting. "Yes?"

Alec Derring
He waited by the door, leaning against the frame. He knew she was there but honestly, had little idea why he was. When the door opened he looked a little surprised, staring for a moment before awkwardly straightening himself. "Just though' a'd drop by." He coughed up shyly, keeping his hands dug deep into the hoodie pocket. She did say he could drop by, right? At least... from what little he could remember.

Antoinette Devereux
She stepped to the side and motioned him in before shutting and locking the door behind her. Billy was still going through withdrawl, and she didn't really want to deal with him barging in her duplex. When she was close enough, she deftly stole his cigarette from him and took a drag before offering it back. Her smokes were definately better. "Glad to see you're no longer hungover." Antony grinned at her redundant statement, it was meant more as a tease than a literal comment.

Alec Derring
Alec glanced around, shuffling in to her room once he realized he was welcomed in. He flinched when his cig was removed from his possession, fighting the urge to snatch it back until it was returned. Smirking, he peered over at her bed as if he was considering flopping down onto it. "Ye ye." He muttered amongst a chuckle, wondering when that joke would get old. "And how are ye?"

Antoinette Devereux
Antony blinked at the question, but remembered he had been toilet bound when she had told him the first time. "Twenty-seven," she murmured, sitting down on her bed and patting the area next to her when she saw him eyeing it. It didn't take her long before she was rummaging through the nightstand drawer looking for her smokes and lighter.

Alec Derring
Alec stared at her for a second and blinked, confused. "No no, how are ye feelin'?" He started to laugh despite himself. "Nice day, ye lookin nice sorta thing?" He flopped onto the bed next to her with a coy smile, unable to fathom the idea that his accent could possibly be misinterpretted. So much so that he was even starting to wonder if she'd ever been asked anything like that before.

Antoinette Devereux
"Ah," she chuckled softly, tails flicking behind her before she sat down and lit herself a smoke, "Must have misunderstood. I'm doing fine, just avoiding the rain for as long as possible." Her eyebrow cocked at his 'lookin nice' comment, not sure if she was hearing him wrong again or if it were an actual compliment. Instead of responding, she took a drag of her cig.

Alec Derring
Alec nodded dumbly as if she'd said something insanely contemplative, though he did watch her intently as she moved to sit down taking particular notice to her choice of attire. "Thas good. Keepin' yeself busy?" He asked with intent to keep the conversation going. Awkward. He thought to himself, sucking on his own cigarette as he watched her retrieve one for herself.

Antoinette Devereux
The tattooed woman caught his gaze and where it had been directed too, and without being to obvious, Antony moved to cross her legs, giving him a clear shot of up said shorts. Watching men squirm was always amusing. "Busy enough," she said, "What have you been doing?"

Alec Derring
Alec tried to look nonchallant as he stared at the new "view", forgetting to answer the question altogether. It was a miracle he had heard her at all. "Huh?" He quickly glanced away, fidgetting with the laces on his clunky and apparently muddy boots. "Ah, nothin, nothin." He gave himself a moment to actually formulate a proper answer. "Sittin' 'round. Gettin' bored." He snickered lightly before remembering the note he'd seen on the caf door awhile ago. "Ye goin' t'th' beach parteh?"

Antoinette Devereux
"Don't put those boots on my bed," she commented suddenly as she noticed the state in which his boots were in. Her lips were curved in a knowing smile, but she looked confused when he mentioned the beach party. "What party?" Apparently, she wasn't up to date on the island gossip.

Alec Derring
He kicked his boots off quickly at her comment, sliding them towards the door with a swift nudge of his foot. "Sorreh." Now that his feet were free, he slid his rear back and propped his legs up more comfortably as he watched her mischevious smile that made him sort of jittery. "Note up on th' caf door. Says somethin' 'bout a parteh. Looks okey." He shrugged lightly, trying not to sound like he was excited about something she possibly wasn't. "Amaya says i' might be a prank 'r somethin' by th'staff. But a' know th'girl who wrote it, so yanno..." He scratched the back of his partially-bald head.

Antoinette Devereux
"No problem... It's just having sex in chunks of mud isn't exactly fun," she explained nochalantly, shifting so that she was mostly facing him. The party had her mildly interested, but she couldn't help but be skeptical. With the amount of people probably going, there was a high chance that all the guys she had slept with, wanted to sleep with, or was hoping to sleep with would be in the same general area. "I may make an appearance... Depending on who or what I'm doing that night."

Alec Derring
Alec stared at her for a moment, stunned by her bluntness that he still wasn't quite used to yet. "Uh huh." He responded, the beginnings of a grin spreading across his clearly-embarassed face. What exactly did he expect? "'A migh' not go though." He mumbled off-handedly, trying to distract the conversation from sex. He was clearly uncomfortable enough already, in the best way possible.

Antoinette Devereux
"Why not?" She asked, a hand moving to lightly scratch her chest with her cigarette-less hand. After her eyes looked around the room, she finally made a sort of 'ah' noise, crawling and stretching over him so she could reach the ash tray. Her stomach brushed against him, but she pretended not to notice for now, returning to her previous position while setting the tray between them.

Alec Derring
Alec was about to answer when she abruptly leaned over. "Well," He was doing alright until their bodies made slight contact, in which case he lost his line of thought once again. "Uh.." The punk teen made to clear his throat, propping his arm behind to lean back in a half-assed attempt to give her more room. "Well yanno, th'note said tha' music'ins should come n' all that, bu' a' d'now..." He tapped his cig on the edge of the tray, figuring she'd rather not enjoy cleaning up after him.

Antoinette Devereux
She had tried, but she was having a hard time keeping a smugly amused smile off her lips. Her eyes drifted downward to the 'offender' before sliding back up to the teen's face. "You have a problem," she murmured while snuffing out her cigarette, tilting her head and shifting closer as if she were going to kiss him. Instead, she just continued the conversation, "A drummer right? You must be good with your hands then."

Alec Derring
Alec frowned half-heartedly, now aware of the strategic 'game' she was playing as well as her reference to his 'situation'. "Ah guess." He swallowed forcibly between syllables, in reference to her second comment. He idly wondered how he was going to get out of this one. Drunken stupors was one thing, walking into a "trap" like this was entirely another. He wasn't exactly putting a good effort into resisting, either.

He unconsciously leaned to side a bit, no good ideas of how to 'conceal' himself coming to mind as of yet. "A'... suppose?"

Antoinette Devereux
She wasn't expecting a frown, and she gave him an inquisitive look. He was young, and she definately didn't want to take advantage of him if he didn't want it. Though his wee one wasn't exactly screaming at her to stop. "You suppose?" The tattooed woman questioned, refering to both his hands as well as to their current situation.

Alec Derring
Alec was now positive that the blood was rushing to his face, his young 'vitality' now quickly replaced by the unsatiable shyness he often experienced. "Some.... what." He inhaled deeply, quivering from her proximity. "A' should... go... or somethin." He wasn't really thinking about what he was saying as he stared into her eyes for only a moment, as long as he could bare.

Antoinette Devereux
Antony wasn't about to let this fresh piece of 'clay' slip through her fingers so easily, and after shifting the ash tray out of their way, she swung her leg over his hips and slowly sat down. "Relax," she whispered, expression surprisingly full of warmth, "It's still raining and your hair won't last a minute out there... Let me teach you..." Her voice had lost its rough edge as she tried to get him to loosen up a bit.

Alec Derring
Alec inhaled sharply as she slid herself over to straddle his lap, though he made no effort to move away. He braced both arms behind in a 'safe' posture to save himself, seeing as he really had no idea where else to put his hands at the moment. Her smooth voice wasn't helping, matched with a persistant attitude made a serious combination to match is weak willpower.

"Twist m'rubbeh arm." He managed to hiss in a low tone, feeling himself giving in and the thoughts to leave slowly vanishing.

Antoinette Devereux
At his hesitation to where to put his hands, Antony carefully moved her hands around his wrists before placing them on her waist. "Follow your instincts," she said softly before leaning in, lips catching his in a slow, but long, kiss.

"It's kind of like riding a bike," Antony joked when she pulled back, offering him a genuine smile, "Practice makes perfect... But it's much harder to fall off..."

Alec Derring
He tried to make the motion natural, almost afraid to touch her. This was a lot different than last time. Last time, he was incapacitated and was surprised he even made it to a bed-like surface in the first place, let alone what occurred afterwards.

His head angled to mirror hers as they kissed, eyes closing and subconsciously reaching for her even after she'd drawn away again. "Like drummin'" He mumbled, the first thing to come to mind as if their previous conversation had just dawned on him. "D'n wanna fook up though." He continued an incoherent murmur, hands sliding down to her thighs as he made a move to kiss her again.

Antoinette Devereux
"That works too," she mused, "I'm too good to let you." The latter comment was to hopefully ease his fears, but she didn't have time to elaborate because he caught her lips with his. Antony let out a low murr as she let him test things out, adding to the movements every so often to nudge him in the right direction if he veered off track.

Alec Derring
... sometime later.

Alec played with the metal stud in his chin, staring up at the ceiling as he lay there in bed. "'ow exactly do a' get meself in'teh these situations?" He mumbled hoarsely, grinning weakly like he was the cat's a**. It wasn't like he had the intentions when he first came to pay her a visit, but he couldn't admit to himself that he was stupid enough not to see it coming.

Regardless if the question was taken to be rhetorical or not, he didn't look for an answer. Reaching over blindly as he gave a long yawn, he pulled Antony closer and made himself comfortable in the position he found himself to be in.

Antoinette Devereux
The squirrel woman purred when he pulled her closer, and she nuzzled his neck, absently pressing a kiss to the crook of it. "Don't know... But do me a favor and keep talking," she mumbled against him, fingers playing along his side.

To her, Antony had found a diamond in the rough, and all she had to do was facet him just right. Besides, she liked being a 'teacher.'

Alec Derring
"Abou' what? Th'weatheh?" He laughed, nestling his head to the side with a broad smile. He held her close like somesort of warm teddy bear, oblivious to anything else. "Lack th'rain, fookin stoof ruins me'air n' muddeh's m'boots." He had no idea what he was ranting on about but would naively continue if that's what she wanted, tracing the edges of her tattoos with his finger.

Oddly enough he wasn't turned off by her snowy fur or even the sprouting tails on her rear, clearly visible and sometimes very noticeable as they were close. After a good enough amount of time on this crazy island, he was perhaps getting settled with the idea of 'changed' people. Didn't mean he liked the situation any better.

Antoinette Devereux
"Rain's annoying on glasses too," she stated, tracing a few random shapes along his stomach, and she smiled at just how more comfortable he seemed now. Less nervous and shy, which was, in her mind, a positive thing. With a shift of her jaw, she stole a lazy kiss from him before settling back down against him.

Antony's tails were flicking in content, and she was both surprised and pleased that her fur and tails didn't bother him. "You're much more relaxed," she pointed out, glancing up at him and offering him a slightly proud grin.

Alec Derring
"'Ave gotta good teacheh." He smirked matter-of-factly, unable to contain a grin. He couldn't get over how gentle she was, creditting how sedate he was feeling towards the entire situation-- both the island and their 'activities' --to her insatiable knack at exerting control. He returned the kiss without hesitation. His thoughts never drifted to the awkwardness he'd most likely feel about all of this later, for now enjoying the comfort he desperately needed in any form he could get it in.

Antoinette Devereux
"Mmhmm," she agreed with a smug smile, nosing the crook of his neck. It was true she had kept it at 'his speed' for now so that he would be comfortable and absolutely adore it, because the more he enjoyed it, the more likely it is that he'll come back to her for any 'comfort' he may need. She was going to break him out of that shy shell, period. If not generally, then just when he was around her would be perfectly fine. Antony had no problems being a man hog, obviously.

"If you ever need some comfort... Sexual or otherwise, just come visit..." She murmured, yawning softly before peering up at him for a response. The 'otherwise' she was referring to obviously included him changing because she, no matter how much she didn't want to admit it, had needed someone after her transformation.

Alec Derring
Alec nodded, stretching his neck back against the mattress. "'A'll hold ye to tha'." He hoarsely responded before glanced down to stare back at her, idly moving his hand to brush a stray bang from blocking his view of both iridescent eyes. The island didn't seem like such an isolated prison anymore, it seemed.

Antoinette Devereux
A lopsided grin formed when he pushed her hair out of her face, and she chuckled softly, "They're rather creepy aren't they? My eyes now..." She didn't even want to fathom what they would look like as she changed further because she was sure creepy would be an understatement.

Alec Derring
Alec wrinkled his nose, considering his answer. "The'll not th'a bad." He responded honestly, now interested the their details as much as he was her transformation. "D'ye know what ye turnin' in'teh?" He felt the question redundant seeing as he had asked the same from many people as of late, but he couldn't help wonder if people were as hesitant to find out as he was. Blunt curiousity was also always an issue with the teen.

Antoinette Devereux
"An albino squirrel... With extra tails," she replied, said appendages flipping against her lower back absently. Hopefully, no more of the damned things would show up, to her, she had three too many as it was. That and they hurt like hell when they grew in at once. ******** spine splitting.

Alec Derring
Alec was a little too tired to care about accidently insulting, choosing to voice his mind as long as the topic was alright. "Thas fooked up." He muttered absentmindedly, unaware until then that the owner of this island was not only mutilating innocent people, but making sure they were as awkward and gruesome as imaginable.

Antoinette Devereux
"Welcome to the island," she muttered, closing her eyes and adjusting herself so that she, and hopefully he, were more comfortable. "At least you weren't here during the two month Survivor experiment." Not much thought went into that statement, which was obvious when she tensed up slightly, wondering if she should have mentioned that. Afterall, it wasn't exactly a pleasure cruise for the islanders then, and he had mentioned pranks earlier.

Alec Derring
"Whassat?" He frowned and closed his eyes, laying the back of his spare arm over his face. The teen was almost afraid to ask. Every time they talked about the island or the staff he'd just get another taste of how utterly ******** up they must be, and how hopeless the situation really was. He really should get on those escape plans he was concocting.

Antoinette Devereux
She sighed, but answered his question anyways, not one to not tell the truth when asked. "One day, all the islanders woke up somewhere on the island... There had been an explosion, and everyone was pretty much freaking out because there had seemingly been a helicopter crash... Charred bodies and all. Anyways, we pretty much had to survive on our own with only what we had on us when we were 'buzzed' unconscious. It lasted two months, and from what I was told it was all an experiment to see how we reacted with our new animal DNA. We're lab rats on this ******** island." The last comment made her think of Chert, and the irony of his impending transformation.

Alec Derring
A shiver ran up Alec's spine though he tried to repress it, never being one to enjoy the mention of death. He swallowed hard and remained silent as he listened and even after she had finished her explanation in almost a mute shock. The realization that they could do anything they wanted to him at any moment in time hit him like a sack of potatoes, fear chilling him from the inside as he began to think. He wanted to ask if anyone was hurt, if they ever IDed the bodies they found but found himself to be too afraid to muster the courage.

Antoinette Devereux
Unfortunately, Antony didn't know anything about the fact that the bodies were already dead cadavers and that no one was actually murdered. However, she had a good guess on what was going through his mind, so she pulled him closer to her and leaned up to press a kiss to his temple. "I don't think they'd do that again... The fact that people know about the last one adds too many variables to the 'experiment.'"

Alec Derring
Alec smiled as she kissed the side of his face, thankful that she had left it at that. "Ye, th' mice are gettin' smart now." He couldn't help but smirk. His early predictions were that the island staff would definetly get a rude awakening some day. The population was growing as he could see, and it'd be a matter of time before they'd lose control.

Stiffening his back, he flinched at the sick feeling in his stomach that was partly due to the fact he hadn't eaten in awhile. He was always forgetting to eat. "Imma grab somethin from th'caf, alrigh'?" He looked down at Antony hoping she'd let him go easy. It's not like he really wanted to leave.

Antoinette Devereux
Antony frowned at the mice comment, knowing that any and every attempt to harm the staff or escape had already failed. Hopefully he wouldn't try anything and end up like Billy, lacking an important piece of the family jewelry.

Nodding at his question, she loosened her grip on him and sat up so she could get herself a cigarette. First a smoke, and then she'd shower. "Sounds good," she said, not really expecting him to drop by afterwards and perfectly okay with that.

Alec Derring
Alec yawned and happily sat up, peering around tiredly for his various peices of clothing. "A'll seeya lateh." He mumbled distractedly as he dressed, pulling his hood over his messy hair. He felt like sleeping, his body protesting to his abrupt movements but he knew he should really get some food or something.

He quietly left without much thought, numb with sleepiness as he shut her door behind him.

Lazing On the Beach

Amaya Vaughan
Things had been going rather normal for Amaya... well, as normal as one could get when you were trapped on a tropical island and turning into an iguana. But she tried to make the best of it.

She lay in the shade of one of the palm trees on the beach, looking much like she had the first day she met Alec. Her headphones were on, she was laying on her stomach with her arms crossed under her head, and was soaking up the rays of the afternoon sun.

The iguana was pretty much oblivious to what was going on around her.

Alec Derring
Alec shuffled his feet through the sand, having dropped his boots off at his own duplex before making his way towards the beach. Hands were stuffed into the pouch of his charcoal as they had been before, the hood up and over his head as he puffed on a cigarette. The punk teen wandered down the beach in much the same fashion as he had once before, spotting a familiar sight though giving a very different reaction this time around.

He slumped down next to the reptilian girl without a word, huddling in his hoodie as if the sun was chilling him to the bone.

"A' was g'na say somethin' cleveh." He finally admitted after a moment of silence between the two, sideglancing to Amaya. "But a' forget wha' is called." He was referring to the term 'deja vu', seeing as the two were meeting in much the same fashion as they originally had on that same beach.

Amaya Vaughan
Amaya blinked and looked over at him as he sat down, allowing the silence to stretch out until the teen broke it on his own. Turning around, she sat up and drew her legs to her chest, hugging them with her scaley hands. Her tail swished in the sand behind her, pushing it up until it found a comfortable spot.

"Deja vu?" She asked with a smirk, green eyes staring out into the ocean. "Though this time your not screaming and running away. So that's nice."

Alec Derring
"Ye, thas i'." He chuckled, taking a short drag on his cig as he joined her in staring at the watery mass that isolated the island from everything normal and ordinairy. It made him restless to watch the waves for too long. The way the waves rose and disappeared back into the whole, reaching to the sky in a futile attempt at freedom in the abyss of the sky before coming crashing down into each other like falling trees in a forest. He fidgetted, wiggling his butt into a groove in the dampened sand.

"Ye 'am pretteh much done wi' th'screamin bit." Alec smirked, settling down as he preoccupied himself with staring at the sand squishing between his toes. He looked exhausted. He felt exhausted. When he wasn't drumming, he was eating or finding something else to do, and even when he wasn't with Antony he didn't sleep much anyways. "'ow are ye?" He asked leisurely, hoping his scaley friend was fairing better.

Amaya Vaughan
The lizard wiggled her long, finger-like toes in the sand as well. Sometimes she would pick some up and drop it again; even though they weren't as flexible as her fingers, she could do a lot more with them then she used to be able to.

"Screaming, then crying, then exhaustion, then you kind of give up in a sense, I guess." She tried to smile at him, but if was obviously forced. "I barely even remember what went through my mind when I found out." Amaya hesitantly patted his shoulder before hugging her legs again.

"I've been alright. Dealing. Trying to keep myself occupied." Her scaley shoulders shrugged.

Alec Derring
Alec smiled bitterly, wanting to make somesort of comment but unable to formulate actual words. Was this what he was missing? The crying and the screaming? Maybe he was holding it in too much or maybe it just hadn't sunk in enough yet. He silent hoped he'd be stronger than that, punks like him weren't supposed to cry. Then again, he hadn't been to successful in the 'independant-couragious' department lately.

"Same same." Was what he managed to say, wondering why talking always made him more depressed. He didn't know what else to say, and fell silent.

Amaya Vaughan
The girl looked at him and sighed. She would have hugged him if she knew he wasn't creeped out by it.

The silence spanned awhile, before she finally looked up at him. Her animalistic features looking odd with her human eyes.

"You need a hug?"

Alec Derring
With all his attempts at being badass and generally masculine in any way possible, the punk teen couldn't deny his true self. Frailty was something he was born with, he supposed.

For a moment it looked like Alec was about to reject the offer, sitting still in his position with his eyes fixed on the waves. "Ye, a' think a' need one o' them." He slowly rolled over and attached himself to Amaya's side of his own will like the softy he was.

Amaya Vaughan
Amaya thought he was going to turn down her offer as well. Afterall, who would wanna hug her?

She couldn't hide her look of surprise when he practically flopped and clung to her.

The reptile blinked a few times before returning the hug back, rubbing her large palm over his back in a comforting gesture.

Alec Derring
Alec contently enjoyed the comforting gesture without any regard to what Amaya thought... until his teenage ego took hold and convinced him that she'd think he was a dweeb if he clung on longer. "Thank ye." He let go and sat up, finding it particularly awkward that the person suffering the most out of who he'd met so far was comforting a stupid kid who hadn't been on this hellhole of an island for more than a month yet.

Amaya Vaughan
The teen smiled. "No problem. I got a lot of hugs when I first came here too." She trailed off.

"Made things a little more bearable."

Alec Derring
Alec chuckled without thinking, wondering if a hug per islander would make everyone's time a little easier. "Should be like a law. Ev'r'one gets one hoog and one kick i' th'arse." He started laughing at himself, his flawed logic only providing humor for himself, apparently.

Amaya Vaughan
Amaya laughed slightly too.

"A kick in the a**? Why that?" She smirked and looked over at him, her arms wrapping around her knees once more.

Alec Derring
Alec wryly grinned, removing the cigarette from his mouth so he could tap the ashes to his far side. "T'make sure they're not bah-stehds o' somethin." The teen continued to laugh, uncaring that his sleepiness was probably making him giddy and prone to cheesy attempts at humor. "Keep 'em 'n line, yanno."

Amaya Vaughan
The iguana snorted another laugh, only partially getting what Alec was trying to say. She liked his accent, but she was never really good an picking them apart.

For a moment she remained silent, until something came to mind.

"So have you met anyone else as far along as I am?"

Alec Derring
Alec quieted down, oblivious to Amaya's apparent confusion. "Ahhh..." He tried to think, tapping his metal chin stud as he seemed to get a second wind of energy in him. "Neh. A' met Bobbeh ou's a pig, aaan'... Rex ou's a li'n... Joli th' lizehd... Annie th'woof.." He continued to rhyme off people he'd met like they were classmates in school, unfazed by how he referred to them by their animal counterparts. "An' Antoneh, th'squirr'l."

Amaya Vaughan
"Dunno an Annie..." Amaya mumbled mostly to herself, though grimaced when the last name was mentioned. "Euh... she b***h at you? Antony, I mean."

Alec Derring
"Antoneh?" He glanced over in obvious surprise, letting the cig hang loosely from his mouth. Well, she had been pretty pissed when he first met her, but he didn't see her as a b***h at all once he got to know her a little better. Though admittedly, he didn't know much, seeing as their relationship had launched from stranger to lover in a matter of days. "Ne, she's realleh nice..." His voice trailed off, feeling that he was treading on uneasy ground. He wearily continued the conversation.

Amaya Vaughan
"Probably just wants in your pants. Or at least that's what I've heard of her." The girl's tail gave a twitch, recalling the time they had met. "When I ran into her she threw a fit after I left the cafeteria. I could hear her throwing crap... I think I scared her or something. I dunno." She frowned.

"But a friend of mine told me not to listen to her, and avoid her. Apparently she only wants to sleep with the guys on the island. That's what I've been told." Amaya put her chin on her knees. "Thankfully I've only met her that once."

Ambrose Maurlias
Ambrose had indeed returned to his duplex after his stay in the river most of hte previous day. He'd showered, spent time with Angelina, and in general was trying to settle into things again. The change was always disrupting.

Once again, the epee sitting neglected in his closet for months now gave him a twinge of guilt as he passed by it to retreive a clean set of clothes. It was a sharp reminder of his old life. But a part of him that had always been there...

Looking down at his form he winced. He couldn't even fit into a standard fencing helmet any more... He would actually have to adapt the fencing stance that had become second nature to him now that he could no longer stand flatfooted.

The pad of one of his fingers paused on the cool metal of the guard and he sighed.

Another day he thought, chickening out.

Glancing outside, he paused. well... I'll... I'll go check the beach. If it's actually empty, maybe I'll come back for it.

Ambrose stepped out the door, going by the cafeteria for a quiet breakfast, and trotted down the path to the West beach - the one he knew was more likely to have people.

Right now, he'd prefer people over the quiet, focusing drills with the sword that would never see him any use.

As he got close, he did indeed hear voices carried over the wind, joined a few moments later by scents. Lifting his longer muzzle to the wind, he almost immediately pinned one as Amaya, and a smile came to his face. The other was unfamiliar... and mostly untainted by the scent of an animal... but if they were with Amaya, then he was likely to be spared the painful explanation.

Cresting over the sandbar at the edge of the beach, he spied the pair and walked forward, hands shoved into his light khaki pants, tail swaying out of the hole he had cut into the backs. He wore a blue polo shirt, with all of the buttons undone.

"Amaya?" He called with a greeting smile, ears back just a bit, knowing she hadn't seen him since his change.

Alec Derring
Alec's eyes went wide as he listened to Amaya, remaining silent as he let her tell him what she knew. Admittedly, he didn't care enough for Antony to be offended by what he was hearing, more intrigued with the gossip that he'd most likely keep to himself. He could see her throwing a fit like that but the 'loose' comments were a little harder to swallow. He opened his mouth to ask a question, but a voice caught his attention.

Striding down the street was a very canine-esque form though Alec was having difficulty putting his finger on what exactly he was. Jaw shut before it even fully opened and the teen turned away to stare at the waves uncomfortably until he was properly introduced or something.

Amaya Vaughan
The lizard was snapped out of her train of thought by a familiar voice. She turned, seeing his changed feet first before meeting his face. It was different, but you could still tell it was Ambrose.

"Hi Ambrose." She smiled, her tail twitching a little behind her. She barely gave his change a second thought, other then how hard it must be for him.

"Alec, this is Ambrose. Ambrose, Alec." Amaya gestured to both of them, realizing that the line-up was Alec, Amaya, then Ambrose. What was with names starting with the letter 'A'?

Ambrose Maurlias
Without realizing that he was privvy to a simiar train of thought that was going through Amaya's mind, Ambrose gave a small chuckle as he extended his very changed hand after a moment's pause.

"Apparently Dr. Moreau likes to take the names from the top of the stack." He commented wryly.

"But... hello, Alec." His tail gave a couple of wags without him really realizing. He looked over his choice of clothing, from the chains to the colorful mohawk with a curious expression.

Ironically, someone dressed like this Ambrose would have likely turned the other way and pretended that they weren't there (if he hadn't been introduced) back home - he was obviously from a very different world than the young blonde man. Ambrose just hoped that he wasn't like Jamal.

Alec Derring
Alec pulled the hoodie off his head in an attempt to look somewhat less like a street bum to the fancy-dressed dogman, smirking at a joke he really didn't get anyways. "'allo, nice t'meet ye." He accepted the handshake awkwardly at first, not used to such formalities. Although he wasn't very threatening, the man's posture was enough to intimidate the teen rather than his animalistic attributes. He didn't think he'd be seeing someone else so far along that soon.

After the shake was said and done, he reamined quiet amongst the friends.

Amaya Vaughan
The teen laughed. "That's just what I was thinking."

Once again the awkward silence fell, though she didn't seem to mind it as much as she used to. Instead she patted the sand next to her on the opposite side from Alec in a gesture for the wolfman to sit and relax.

"You been doing okay?"

Ambrose Maurlias
Ambrose squeezed Alec's hand with a practiced confidence that contradicted his animalistic appearance, giving him a nod and meeting his eyes before returning his attention to Amaya.

He took a seat where the sand was patted, giving his 'little sister' a reassuring smile. "As well enough as can be expected..." He responded. "I've had about a week or so to settle into... recent changes now at least. But damn if the island isn't significantly more hot since it was last week." He waved his hand in front of his face for emphasis. His fur did look a bit thicker than it did before his last change. "At least you are lucky in the respect of becoming something properly suited for the climate. I think I've even seen an iguana or two about around here every now and then."

Alec Derring
Surprisingly, Ambrose had touched upon a subject that he had been mulling over in his spare time for awhile now. In tradition of his curiosity, he went ahead and voiced his concern. "Wha' if some'un turned in'teh a poleh beh' o' somethin?" He traced a symbol into the sand with his finger as he thought outloud, unfazed as the spot beside him was occupied. He was clearly concerned about his own transformation, the only hints he'd offer to others being the vague and sometimes random questions he'd blurt out anytime he saw fit.

Amaya Vaughan
"That's true. Guess I kind take it for granted." Amaya didn't mention how much she missed seeing the stars though.

"Polar bear...?" She paused, thinking. "I... dunno. Maybe they'd adjust their room to be really cold. That's what they did for me. Well, warmer." That thought had never really occured to her.

Ambrose Maurlias
Ambrose winced and shook his head. He knew how miserable he was already feeling on the sunny days - someone with even MORE fur, and likely added... 'padding' would have it rough. "Ugh, that would be bad. Maybe they wouldn't pack on as much... ah... storage? Or spend a lot of time in the A/C or in the water. Poor b*****d, though - it's hot enough even without fur here for most people. And it's only April. And I was here in August - it's only going to get worse." He gave a small shake.

He looked to the mostly quiet newcomer curiously. "I'm sure you keep getting the same questions, but how long have you been here, Alec? How... are you doing?"

Alec Derring
Alec grimaced at the thought of being that incredibly fat in such a hot climate, suddenly wishing he'd left his hoodie back at his duplex. "Ye thanks, ye sound so posi'ive." The punk teen laughed quietly to himself, hoping his joke wouldn't be offensive seeing as he wasn't upset by it at all. He'd deal with things as they came.

"Ah... mehbeh a week or so." He scratched the back of his head, thankful for the relaxed environment. "'Am okeh... dealin, yanno." He didn't have much else to say. What was there to say? He couldn't do much but deal with what was thrown at him.

Amaya Vaughan
"Yeah..." The reptile trailed off and fell into silence, not having much to add to the conversation.

Ambrose Maurlias
Sitting on the beach, on the hot sands, under the hot sun, and talking about how damn hot he was already, Ambrose was begining to feel just a tad bit miserable. While the jungle tended to be more humid, at least the canopy provided ample shade and respite from the glaring brightness.

He couldn't even go into the water given the fact he had worn some nice clothes. And he wasn't about to strip down in front of Amaya and someone he hardly even knew.

It looked like Ambrose would have to find another location other than the beach if he did in fact want to continue working on his fencing. OR at least not during the middle of the day.

That and Amaya seemed oddly quiet. Was he making her uncomfortable?

He nodded to Alec. "I'm glad at least... I'm sure you've been told, but despite how we look... most of us are nice people - and if you need anything don't hesitate to ask one of us." He clapped him on the back as he rose to a stand. "I'm in duplex number one, speaking of. We're in this together."

He turned back to Amaya. "I'm sorry for heading out so quickly. The heat really is getting to me." He said, begining to actually pant. The thick fur sprouted from every possible pore, leaving Ambrose - much like real canines - miraculously free of sweat glands.
The worst part about it, In Ambrose's mind, is that half the time he didn't even realize when he started to do it - and such an obvious sign of a canine nature (that usually was associated with lack of intelligence) bothered him sharply. Especially around people he didn't know well.

"I will see you later. Both of you I'm sure." With a wave, he trotted back to the duplexes to go find the blessed A/C.

Alec Derring
Alec nodded, appreciating the support Ambrose offered. "Ye thanks man, take i' easeh." He furrowed his brow as he watched the canine leave, admittefly a little concerned for him.

"Nice guy." He commented when he had travelled out of sight, turning back to Amaya to continue their conversation. "I' 'elps havin' people like ye n' Ambrose n' stoof." He said this mostly without thinking, fidgitting with his hoodie until he couldn't take it any longer, and took the sweater off. "Ye realleh quiet..."

Amaya Vaughan
"See ya Ambrose, take care." Amaya nodded to him as he got up and left.

"Yeah, Ambrose is a good guy." She smiled, glad that she was at least helping him a little on adjusting to the island. Though his next comment caught her.

"Y'know..." The iguana looked over at him. "Your like the fourth person who's said that to me. Am I really?"

Alec Derring
Alec of course found this highly amusing, especially that she had no idea of her tendencies to fall silent in a conversation. "Ye, y'kinda stop talkin afteh awhile." He laughed as he crossed his legs, uncaringly tossing his hoodie into the sand beside him. "Ye don' say much." He knew she was shy but her introverted nature was statring to be very obvious.

Amaya Vaughan
Amaya blinked and stared at him for awhile, it finally sinking in. When she came here, she been talkative, happy, interjected into conversations, but now... she was really quiet compared to those days.

"Well... I used to talk a lot more. But... I guess I've gotten a lot quieter after my last change." She frowned. "Guess it's because of multiple reasons. Some not voluntary." Green iguana's were very silent creatures... would she... no. No, that wouldn't happen.

The girl shook her head free of the thought.

Alec Derring
Alec watched her expression changed as she thought to herself, butting out his cig in the sandpile beside him without taking his eyes off his friend. "Ye just need t'ave fun." He resolved this as a sure-fire solution, believing that that was her real problem. "Ye just gotta relaaaz n' enjoy th' sun. Che' up a lil." He nodded to himself and patted her shoulder, thinking himself quite brilliant.

Amaya Vaughan
Alec wasn't entirly wrong. Half of her shyness was because of how she looked, and how little she was truely happy anymore. Though compared to awhile ago, this attitude was heaven. Amaya still rarely smiled.

A tiny smile came to her scaley face. "I guess so... just kinda hard after awhile, y'know? Not much to do around here."

The lizard would never admit it to anyone else, and mostly not even to herself that the reason she was so sad was that she was lonely. She might have had a makeshift family and friends... but she was still a teenage girl.

Alec Derring
"Ugh, don' a' know i'!!" Alec groaned, suddenly falling back to lie on the sandy beach. "Give us somethin' t' DO!!!" The teen yelled out in the otherwise-empty beachside half-laughing the entire time. Despite what was said about Antony earlier, his time spent with her had provided enough comfort for the boy to find happiness in the day, at least. So much so that he was considered deviously plotting somesort of activities for Amaya and him to partake in to keep the "rowdy teens" occupied. With a little food and a little extra energy, the teen was beginning to act as good as new.

Amaya Vaughan
Amaya laughed and flopped onto her back as well, her bottom wiggling a little as her tail readjusted to lay on the sand between her legs, which were still propped up to keep weight off her newly aquaired limb.

"Y'know, my friend Hargun and I would make faces at the cameras sometimes, if we could find them." It wasn't much, but it was something to entertain yourself with for a couple of minutes.

Alec Derring
Alec looked as if a lightbulb had just gone on in his feeble little mind, a wide and very mischevious grin spreading on his face as a telltale sign that his thoughts were going in a bad direction. "Man, we shou' do tha'" He laughed, trying to imagine Amaya in her current state having that much fun. "We shou' start a fooood figh' in th'caf!!! Ha-haHA!" This talk was clearly up his alley and he couldn't even begin to think of what pranks he could pull on the staff.

Amaya Vaughan
The teen giggled at the thought. "Yeeeeah, that'd be fun." Though the consequences for doing such a thing weren't arn't her mind at the moment. Would the staff punish them for such a thing?

Probably, knowing how tight-assed they were.

"Dunno who else would join us though, besides Hargun. Do you?"

Alec Derring
Alec shrugged, not bothering to worry about such minor details. "Ye, mehbeh Annie an' 'er friend." He thought for a moment before adding to the thought. "'An tha' prude 'ou lives above me." He laughed in a sinister manner, smirking to Amaya to communicate the joke. "Bu' f'now a' betteh get inside. 'All be red n' bubbleh if a' don'."

Amaya Vaughan
Amaya smirked, though knew she was probably a prude too. "Alright, I'll see ya later Alec." She sat up and shifted her tail once more before patting him on the shoulder.

Ambrose Maurlias
BEACH BAR TRUTH OR DARE!

Part 1

Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose picks up a glass, wandering around behind the bar. It certainly was busy that night - everyone seemed to respond to a calling of the alcohol. He smiled, rememerbing the last time something happened like that. "Hey guys.. how about a game of Truth or dare?" He grinned wolfishly. Looking quickly over to Amaya, who had been quiet almost every time he'd seen her lately. "Amaya! Truth or dare?"
Antony:Antony raised an eyebrow from her corner. "I think we just time warped back to high school," she muttered to herself.
Amaya: Amaya blinked, having simply been watching the others. Truth or Dare? Didn't they do this... months ago? That had been fun. She couldn't even recall if she had changed then or not. "Uh... truth." She managed to mumble.
Alec: Alec snickered from his spot amongst the crowd, nudging at Amaya with a grin. "Aw weak, ye shoulda picked dare."
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose smirked and thought with a smile. "Truth, eh? Well... " He looked at her - start easy... "Why have you been so quiet recently?"
Cassidy: Cass gave a soft laugh into her pint of beer. "What, this again?" she teased.
Emelyn:: Emelyn sat, cross-legged on the sand, idly wrapping her fingers about her pilots goggles, which sat in her lap. She didn't have a drink in her hand- she never touched the stuff- but was thoroughly enjoying the assemblage.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose shrugged, giving Cassidy and Antony a wide smile. "From my experience, the last time we did this it really helped break some of the glacial ice that somehow existed on this tropical island."
Fiona: Fiona looked on, strangely silent. Her expression, however, was full of varying shades of amusement and interest. This... could be fun.
Amaya: A non-existant brow raised. "'Cause... well..." She fidgetted with her long fingers. "I dunno, really." This had come up with Alec too. "Guess I'm shy?" Yeah, that was a nice way of putting it.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose shrugged, pouring himself a glass of whisky from behind the counter. Might as well go all out. He looked to Angelina inquisitively as he pulled out another glass. "Good enough, I guess. Your turn!"
Antony:She raised her eyebrow, not really seeing how this was breaking the ice. It just seemed to make Amaya uncomfortable.
Amaya: "Hm... Alec, truth or dare?" She already knew what he'd probably pick.
Kaveri: Kaveri, having just poked her head in, overheard the deadly phrase of "truth or dare." Didn't girls do this at sleepovers or something? She'll just hang back and people-watch with Zach for now and not get involved.
Angelina: "Make me something fruity," she said, batting her big blue (underaged) eyes at Ambrose.
Alec: Alec took a swig of his homemade cocktail. "Well..." He coughed and fidgetted in his spot. "A'd say dare but 'am not cuttin' off me 'air..." He laughed... nervously.
Vasile: Vasile sat in a stool next to Cass after grabbing a corona from behind the bar. His tail swung over the edge as he watched the goings-on, keeping to himself for now.
Amaya: Amaya raised a brow once more. "And you call me weak?" Oh. Burn.
Emelyn:: Emelyn forced her focus to the answer of the man she'd not yet met... and away from the simpering couple. There were so many people here she'd not met- so many better things to think on than if Angie still despised her.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose smirked at Angelina, read over some of the recipes taped to the top of the fridge, and started mixing.
Alec: The teen gave a bitter glare to his reptilian friend. "NO 'AIR."
Cassidy: Cass was merely coiled on the ground; a stool was an exercise in futility, after all. She leaned against Vasile a little and watched intently, smiling a little.
Antony:A gag was disguised as a cough as she saw the eyelash batting of the still normal girl, taking back a shot of vodka.
Ambrose Maurlias: Checking the available liquors, which didn't do much to limit thei choices, he proceeded to mix a "Hawaiin Ecstasy" - pronouncing it as such as he slid to to her with a grin.
Ambrose Maurlias: Nodding to Vasile and Emelyn with a friendly smile, he walked back around to the front and took a seat, waiting to hear what the punk teen would have to subject himself to with a wry smile.
Amaya: "Fine. Fine." That wasn't what she had in mind anyway. "Eat one of your cigarettes." She grinned sharp teeth.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose made a face, his long tongue sticking out in distaste. He could hardly stand the stench let alone eat one of the cancer sticks.
Cassidy: Oh, gross. Cassidy choked and sputtered on her beer.
Angelina: Angie gave a not-so-subtle quick glance to Emelyn before taking the orange-red drink and plucking the pineapple from the glass, sucking on the fruit and wiggling her eyebrows at Ambrose.
Alec: Alec stared in utter horror, wishing he'd been told to kiss someone or streak or something like highschoolers really did. Not... like he'd know. "Wha' th'fook?"
Antony:"What'd the poor smoke ever do to you to deserve being eaten?!" Antony called out over the swarms of people, shaking a finger at the lizard girl.
Zachary: Zach tapped his fingers lightly against the side of his head as he leaned his arm against the bar. He watched silently, occasionally looking over at her as if to ask her what they were doing there.
Emelyn:: Better to eat it than smoke it, Emelyn thought wryly to herself, wrinkling her leather nose in distaste but saying nothing. Carcinogens weren't high on her list for sympathy...
Amaya: Amaya silently agreed with Emelyn, but didn't say so. Instead she shrunk down a little in her seat and said nothing. It was Alec's dare afterall.
Vasile: Vasile's tail casually draped over Cass's shoulders as he grimaced. Nasty things.
Fiona: Fiona gave a half-snorting laugh, her attention making bounds from person to person and twinkling with mischief as they did so. She crossed her arms in front of her chest in a manner that said 'serves him right.'
Alec: Alec let out a groan, pulling a cig from his pocket. "This i' gonna sook..." He mumbled and winced, throwing his head back and tossing the cig down his thoat.
Kaveri: People here certainly looked interesting, and some of the animal-folk look downright alien. "This kinda reminds me of the Star Wars cantina," Kaveri whispered to Zach in a low voice, a smirk tugging on her lips.
Angelina: Angelina watched Alec and Fiona intently. So she wasn't the only 'human' left on this rock after all. She didn't know whether to be releaved or a bit sad. She wondered how new they were.
Antony:Since they were technically 'outside,' the squirrel woman dug in her pants for her pack of cigarettes and a lighter. If one was going to get eaten, then she would hold a formal memorial and smoke one.
Vasile: Vasile made made no effort to hide his disgusted look to Antony when she pulled out her cigarette.
Amaya: The iguana couldn't help but stiffle a laugh as she watched him. Taking in the look on his face as he was forced to swallow it.
Cassidy: Cass giggled a bit and petted Vasile's tail. It was just like a fur stole! Except nicer and not dead.
Angelina: "Thats disgusting," she commented around her straw.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose put his paws together and applauded the young man. "Good job." He made another face at the thought of how the thing must have tasted. "Your turn to torment."
Alec: He looked like he was going to puke for a good minute there, eyes watering as he attempted to contain his gag reflex. "You... payin' fo' tha'" He coughed, washing it down with a good helping of his drink.
Kaveri: Kaveri watches Alec eat his cigarette, a low chuckle escaping her throat. "Man, poor kid."
Amaya: "Oh you'll be fine missing one of them." Amaya rolled her eyes and patted the teen on the back.
Antony:Antony gave Vasile a look of 'like I give a ******** what you think of me' before lighting up and taking a drag. She was on the outskirts of the crowd anyways.
Emelyn:: "In fact, I warrant you'll be better..." Em said softly, stretching out on the sand with a wry smile.
Alec: "Alrigh'..." The teen took a good look around, trying to catch someone he didn't know well. It was more fun that way. "Aye." He gestured to Emelyn. "Dare o' whateveh."
Zachary: Zach smirked at Kaveri's cantina comment, but made a mental note to avoid dares. "Hey, at least there's no secondhand that way."
Emelyn:: Emelyn blinked in surprise, but shrugged her shoulders at the statement. "Well... since you don't know me, I don't know how good a truth would do. So... erm... dare."
Kaveri: "That's true," Kaveri nods, then tilts her head curiously to see what's going to happen to the spiky-haired chick.
Alec: Alec grinned, clearly pleased by the hedgehog's decision. "Lick.." He paused for only a moment, clear that he didnt think this over a bit. "im!" He pointed to Zach.
Angelina: Angelina giggled, getting funny flashbacks from middle school.
Emelyn:: "Lick him?" She pointed to Zach, not emphasizing either word over the other. She looked at the punky-headed guy with a laughing smile. "Contrary to popular belief, he's not a popsicle..." (cont)
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose snorted into his cup, his tail thwapping against Angelina to one side, Vasile to the other.
Emelyn:: But it was a dare, so she laughed, and walked over to where Zach sat. She knelt next to him and winked at him. "Sorry about this." Then she proceded to give him a short lick along the side of his face.
Cassidy: Cassidy began to chuckle helplessly. She put a hand over her eyes, set down her drink for a moment, and just laughed.
Fiona: One of her eyebrows perked at the 'hawked guy's selection. "This should be interesting..." she muttered tactlessly to herself, watching for his reaction.
Alec: Alec burst out laughing, as immature as he was. He figured he'd let her go easy that time.
Kaveri: Kaveri covers her mouth in attempt to conceal her laughter. "So, how's he taste?" She asks the hedgehog girl with a grin.
Emelyn:: Afterwards, Em covered her eyes and laughed, feeling a red blush creep to her cheeks. Thank goodness it was covered in fur.
Antony:The tattooed woman couldn't help but snort openly, "As long as clothes stay on..." She couldn't help it if she had the mind of a male.
Vasile: Vasile's tail curled tighter around Cass's shoulders, though he sat there, casting long sideways glances over at the wolf-man. Vasile wondered if he would change anymore.. he looked pretty, well, wolflike already
Zachary: Zach's tapping stopped immediately as he gave the spiky-haired teen a look of confusion. It was soon transferred to Emelyn as she licked him. "What are you--"
Emelyn:: "Try him yourself," she said cheekily to the woman she didn't know, but also with a smile. Then she turned to Cassidy. "Truth or dare?"
Amaya: Amaya giggled as well, though seemed to be trying to keep the spotlight off herself.
Cassidy: Cass stopped laughing abruptly. Well, she deserved it. "Er. Dare."
Vasile: Vasile nudged Cass with his thigh, smirking.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose followed Emelyn's look to Cassidy, getting a good look at her and held back any sort of reaction. She HAD changed, Vasile was right. If there were anyone on the island he was happy for that the changes weren't done..
Kaveri: "Ha! I might as well. C'mere--" Kaveri drapes her arm around Zach's shoulders, attempting to lick up the other side of his cheek. Poor guy, getting all this attention!
Ambrose Maurlias: It was definately her - she looked caught between two forms that didn't mesh well at all. He kept his mouth closed and soon found himself with a predicament all his own of muzzle + glass
Alec: Alec took a look around, realizing there were so many people he didn't know. "Huh." He hummed and drank down the rest of his cocktail. "Reeefiiilll..." He whined to no one in particular, clearly buzzed.
Zachary: "Hey!" Zach squirmed, grinning nervously as she licked him also. What the hell was wrong with women these days? "I'm not a salt lick!"
Emelyn:: "Dare? Damn, now I have to come up with one. ...Okay.. erm... alright. I dare you to... oh man... okay, I give up. It's more of a truth- but... tell Vasile something he really doesn't know about you."
Alec: "A' wou'n complain." The teen raised an eyebrow at the crimson guy's comment before keeping anything more to himself.
Amaya: The girl raised a brow at Alec and rolled his eyes. There was no way she was going to refill his drink this time. He already seemed buzzed.
Antony:For the first time, Antony noticed the girl with the dreads and piercings, but at Alec's comment she simply raised an eyebrow. "Of course you wouldn't," she teased.
Emelyn:: After eliciting her 'dare', she turned back to Zach and knelt next to his ear, whispering only for him. "Sorry about that. You can get me back later, if you'd like." Then she left him a soft, friendly kiss on his cheek.
Vasile: Vasile quirked an eyebrow, looking to Cass.
Cassidy: Cass looked up at Vasile. "Er. That's hard." She took a sip of beer, more to stall than anything else. Everything was either really... trivial, or just downright embarrassing.
Cassidy: "I kissed a girl once," she said at last, and looked down, just slightly horrified. "It was at a party. I was kind of drunk. Um. There."
Zachary: "Well I don't know what turns you on, kid, but..." he mumbled at the spiky-haired teen, his face a shade of scarlet to match his scales.
Vasile: Vasile's tail thumped. "Oh really?" He raised an approving brow and let a toothy smirk spread over his face.
Alec: Getting no reaction from his feeble plea for a drink, Alec crawled over until he was close enough to make himself another drink. "Ye, ye" He snickered.
Vasile: Then. "Can I get you something to drink?"
Cassidy: Cass stuck out a forked tongue. "Already quite fine on that front, thank you. Your turn. Truth or dare, Vasile."
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose's mood was lifting already, people were smiling, and amusing dares were flying. With a sigh, he glanced around and lapped at some of the alcohol in his glass.
Vasile: "Aw s**t, I should have seen that one coming," he said, his smirk fading.
Vasile: "I'm not quite ready to streak down the beach in the nude or anything, so Truth."
Antony:Antony took a long drag from her smoke before offering Alec the bottle of vodka with a smirk, after she had refilled her drink of course.
Alec: Alec gladly accepted, raising the bottle in thanks before refilling his glass greedily. "Streak! Streak!"
Emelyn:: Emelyn went back to her seat on the sand, rubbing her forehead as if to coax the blush from it. Poor Zach, she mused, as she returned the goggles to her forehead.
Vasile: Vasile blinked an eye at Alec. "You'd like to see that, would ya?" He winked in mock seduction
Antony:She made sure to swipe the bottle back after he had refilled his glass.
Amaya: Amaya glanced at Antony and then Alec. Oh yay, he was probably going to get drunk... if he wasn't already. She hadn't touched anything, thinking the stuff smelled like pee. She doubted her new pallet would enjoy it anyway.
Cassidy: Cassidy gave this a moment of thought, her finger tapping against her glass. "Truth, truth. What is," she said slowly, "the strangest thing you have ever bought for yourself?"
Fiona: Teenage curiosity spurred on by natural confidence, Fiona allowed her eyes to rake across Vasile's figure at the suggestion of streaking. Maybe it wasn't such a bad idea. Darn, a truth. Oh well, maybe later.
Alec: Alec paled, realizing he hadn't been paying attention to who was being dared. "uh... neh thanks?" He winced and sat down quietly.
Vasile: Vasile took a long drink from his bottle, thinking. "A full body waxing," he said with a cringe - then quickly added - "it was a modeling gig!"
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose winced. "Ouch..."
Cassidy: Cass winced visibly. "Yikes. I'm not entirely sure I wanted that mental image."
Amaya: "Wow." Amaya raised a brow, staring at the changed Vasile.
Vasile: "Hey!"
Antony:"Full?" Antony echoed, eyebrow raising. She had only gone as far as a Brazillian.
Ambrose Maurlias: "Course, I bet you anything it would hurt ten times as much now!" He barked a laugh.
Alec: Alec spit out his drink, not wanting to EVER feel that pain.
Cassidy: Cass grinned and stroked his tail. "Now, now. No waxings for my fuzzy man." She was, possibly, just a tiny bit tipsy.
Vasile: "Anyway..." Vasile's eyes darted around the crowd, settling on Antony as she spoke to him. "Yes. Everything that wasn't on my head, or a well-shaped eyebrow was OFF. So, truth or dare?"
Kaveri: "Wonder what the hell modeling he was doing THAT for," Kaveri says to Zach, "Can't imagine any of these guys getting a waxed ANYTHING, much less shaved. -- Porn, maybe?"
Vasile: "NOT PORN!" His tail ruffled. "It was a swimsuit add! They were just, uh.... very....very small....swimsuits..."
Cassidy: "Porn," Cassidy repeated, giggling.
Vasile: Vasile huffed, nursing his bottle.
Kaveri: Kaveri gives a hearty laugh, dismissively waving her hand. "Sure, buddy."
Zachary: Zach was still a fierce shade of red, but he managed to get out a semblance of a laugh.
Amaya: Amaya giggled again.
Alec: Alec wished he was deaf and without imagination at the flying accusations of male porn.
Emelyn:: "Bm chka bm bmm.." Em hummed in the background.
Antony:"Dare," she murmured, snickering at the labret girl's comment, "Nothing I've seen him in... So nothing hetero?" She was, in fact, kidding.
Vasile: "I think if I was ever in porn my naughty-bits would be all over the net."
Emelyn:: Emelyn turned to the person next to her and whispered, laughingly, "We don't get the net here, do we? ...Too bad.."
Vasile: Vasile gave a happy-evil grin when Antony said dare. He hopped off his stool and raided the fruit basket that hung over the bar for drinks, taking a bananna.
Kaveri: "I don't think I've ever been on 'the net,'" Kaveri adds. And really, she hasn't -- most cable companies don't go to abandoned buildings.
Vasile: "You always claim..." he said, handing the girl the fruit. "That you give the 'best head ever." He waggled his eyebrows at her. "Demonstrate." He turned to sit back down, t hen quickly added, "ON the banana."
Antony:"Wishful thinking?" She asked him.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose's eyes widened curiously at the procurement of the bananna, and even more at the dare, lapping more at his alcohol and caring less.
Cassidy: Cass glanced up at Vasile and over to Antony, more puzzled than anything else. "Best head ever?"
Angelina: "I'd rather watch Vasile demonstrate on the bananana," Angelina mumbled into her drink with a secretive smile.
Antony:"A good blow job, involves more than just the c**k... I'll have you know," she said with a grin, but taking the banana from him anyways.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose spluttered into his cup. "I don't!"
Antony:Antony raised her eyebrow at Cass, "He didn't tell you? Tsk."
Vasile: Vasile patted Cass on the shoulder. "Take notes."
Kaveri: Kaveri suppresses a laugh, covering her mouth and leaning back, her other arm still draped around Zach's shoulders.
Alec: Alec froze, grey eyes slowly moving over to rest on Antony, frozen in just... shock.
Amaya: Oh jeeze. Adults were so gross... and sometimes seemed more immature then she was. Though like always, she remained silent.
Vasile: He smiled at her, hoping she got the fact that he was joking. really hoped....
Fiona: Fiona laughed, leaning over to Ambrose (who happened to be the nearest person she recognised) and saying, "Remind me never to eat a banana split here. Ever." A wide smirk appeared on her face.
Cassidy: "I'll be sure to file it away safely," Cass teased. ".... wait. Tell me what?"
Vasile: Vasile just shook his head, trying not to blush.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose continued to chortle harder at Fiona's additive. "I'll do that!" He grinned back at her.
Zachary: Zach glanced between Cassidy and Vasile with slight alarm. He hadn't heard people talk about their sex lives this casually since college, and those stories were mostly made up.
Antony:The shot was thrown back before she took care to peel the sticker off of the banana before raising her eyebrow at Vasile, "Well aren't you the honest one."
Cassidy: "Uh." Cass's tongue flickered. "Should I know what this is about? Do I really want to?"
Antony:Part of her was stalling, banana peels didn't exactly taste great.
Antony:"Considering no one here wants to see this banana get fellitio except for Vasile, I'll simply..." She trailed off, opening her mouth and proceeding to carefully, due to the curve of the fruit, push it down her throat till it's stem was pretty much the only thing showing. Once done, it was quickly pulled back out. "Now that takes skill," she boasted, tossing the banana in the nearest trash can.
Antony:((D: Sorry, had to be done... Antony = whore. >_>))
Alec: "THANK YE' AN' GOO'NIGHT" Alec announced when it was over, abruptly retreating to the bar to get some ice cubes. Yea, that's it.
Cassidy: Yes, a complete loss for words. Cass decided she really needed another swig of beer, and decided to just focus on that for the moment. Good thing she couldn't really blush.
Zachary: He moved a little to better shoulder Kaveri's arm, nervously putting his hand on her back to steady her. He was glad the breeze was cold. His face still felt like it was burning.
Kaveri: Kaveri looks on with mild amazement - it's quite difficult to suppress that gag reflex, and Antony seemed to have some kind of a gift. "I'll be damned," she murmurs.
Amaya: Amaya held no reaction, having found it disgusting.
Fiona: "Bravo!" Fiona shouted humorously, clapping and grinning. It was funny to her, at least.
Antony:She gave Kaveri a wink, obviously not sober.
Angelina: Angelina clapped, winking to Ambrose.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose felt his own cheeks burning, turning away from Antony - but not until the 'deed' was done.
Antony:"Oh! My turn..." Antony blinked, looking around at those present as she tried to decide who to pick. "Hmm... Zach," she grinned evilly, "Truth or Dare?"
Alec: Alec eventually returned, flopping back down wherever he could find room.
Zachary: Zach blinked at Antony, still in a little shock. "Oh, I guess... um... dare."
Antony:Noticing Alec's return, Antony grinned and looked back over to Zach. Motioning between Alec and the dragon, she smiled sweetly, "You two... Kiss." Insta-cold shower for Alec.
Amaya: Say what? Amaya blinked, shocked and looked between Zach and Alec. Oh jeeze...
Kaveri: Kaveri is morbidly curious to see what's going to come out of this one. She looks at Antony with a crooked smile, then back at Zach and then to Alec, clearly more amused than she should be.
Alec: Alec's jaw dropped, just... STARING at Antony in a 'how could you do this to me' sorta way.
Cassidy: "Karma is a wonderful thing."
Emelyn:: "Holy cow. ...Boy Zach, bet you wish you were getting licked now," Emelyn nearly squealed, falling back on the sand with the propulsion of her laughter.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose coughed. Strong whisky... yeah... that was it, eyes going from one poor guy to the other, very glad that he wasn't the targed.
Antony:Antony wiggled her eyebrows at Alec, patting his leg as a gesture of 'I'll make up for this later.'
Zachary: Zach mouthed the word "traitor" to Emelyn as she laughed at him. Kiss... a guy. He could probably do this. As long as he kept the 'guy' part out of his mind.
Fiona: "Somebody get a camera, quick!" Fiona said with a snicker.
Antony:"I'll ask Aubrey for a copy of the video."
Emelyn:: Em just responded, after she'd propped herself up on an elbow in the sand and saw Zach's mouthed word, with a wink.
Kaveri: Kaveri gives Zach a reassuring pat on the back. "Go get 'em, tiger! ... lizard ... thing!"
Alec: Alec's head dropped with a pathetic whine as he sloooowly edged him torso in the angle that Zach was in with the most... disgusted look on his face that rivalled any hangover he'd ever had.
Alec: *his
Angelina: Angelina had a huge grin on her face. Yaoi was hot.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose gave her a look. "Traitor!"
Zachary: At this rate, the blush would become a permanent rash. Why had he picked dare? He shut his eyes tightly, hoping that the teen would get it over with quickly.
Vasile: Vasile shifted and his right ear twitched three times in rapid sucession.
Antony:The squirrel woman glanced around, the smirk on her face widening as she saw everyone's expressions.
Alec: Unfortunately Alec was firmly stuck in his place, left staring at the dragon man to wait for HIM to make a move.
Emelyn:: A grin covered the face of the hedgehog-girl as she looked around at the gathering. "Oooh... methinks the gentlemen are getting a little uncomfortable," she said, her voice tinged with delight.
Angelina: Angelina. "What?" she asked innocently. But an idea brewed in her head and her grin grew wider and she patted his knee.
Cassidy: "You may as well just get it over with," Cass hooted.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose didn't like that look. Scowling suspiciously, he lapped more at his drink-he'd figure out an easier, less embarrassing method lated.
Zachary: Zach opened one eye to glance at Emelyn. "You think?" he whined, before closing it again.
Emelyn:: "Aww... come on! ...Kiss... kiss... kiss..." she chanted.
Angelina: "Kiss kiss kiss..." Angelina joined in.
Antony:Antony whistled some old western show down music.
Kaveri: "C'mon, boys!" Kaveri feels compelled to give Zach a jump start, throwing her arm out to lightly shove him in Alec's direction.
Fiona: "Doooo iiiiit!" Fiona added to the shouts of encouragement, her own devious grin mirroring those of many of the present females.
Alec: Alec shuffled closer, obviously delaying this as log as he could. "D'ye 'ave like... some disease or somethin cuz 'am not su-" He of course didn't see the shove coming, unable to dodge the oncoming Zach as their lips met.
Antony:Part of her was expecting Zach to make her kiss a girl later on in the night, but then again, the dragon was rather naive.
Angelina: Angelina gave an approving cheer as the lips came in contact.
Zachary: Zach didn't see the violent shove coming, and thus couldn't avoid it as he temporarily locked lips with Alec. It was over just as quickly as he pulled back, putting a hand to his mouth.
Alec: Alec flailed his arms and made sure to scramble at LEAST 3 feet away from Zach after it was over, wiping furiously at his mouth in horror. "Drink! Driiiiiink!!!"
Ambrose Maurlias: "Poor bastards." Ambrose lamented, worrying more about his girlfriend and her devious mind.
Kaveri: Kaveri roars with laughter, applauding with approval.
Emelyn:: "Oh, you men are so uptight." Em said, mirth coming out every pore.
Antony:She gave a wolf-whistle at the pair, giving Alec an apologetic look, handing him her shot of vodka.
Cassidy: "That wasn't so bad, now? Was it?"
Angelina: Angelina plopped herself right down in Ambrose's lap. Not saying anything, just smiling herself.
Antony:"They're uptight because they're straight," she pointed out, laughing with Em.
Vasile: Vasile joined in the laughing, though his ears were awfully pink.
Zachary: Zach glared at Antony's whistling before turning his attention to Kaveri. He spoke from behind the hand, afraid to move it. "Truth... or dare?"
Kaveri: "Oh, hell. I'm setting myself up for disaster, but whatever, man," Kaveri shrugs with a toothy grin, "dare me."
Antony:Antony simply blew Zach a kiss and winked at his glare.
Alec: Alec downed the shot and slumped against the nearest person that wasn't Zach, afraid to look in the guy's direction out of embarassment.
Angelina: "Revenge!" Angelina cheered, giggling at her own suggestion.
Ambrose Maurlias: "Brave woman in respect to the dares that have been flying around." Ambrose lifted his glass to the woman whose name he had yet to learn.
Angelina: Angelina helped herself to a sip from Ambrose's glass. "eugh, gross.." she pinched her face up.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose chuckled, polishing it off with a few coughs and then handed her the empty glass. "Make me something better then." He challenged.
Amaya: Amaya seemed to be the only one not really having a good time... maybe she was still too young, prude and naive. Or maybe she was still just shy around crowds and people she didn't know.
Zachary: Zach moved the hand a little as he contemplated the dare. His eyes darted between Antony and Kaveri before he announced it.
Zachary: "Kiss Antony."
Angelina: Angelina got a twinkle in her eye. Such a small little woman and Ambrose had made her such a strong drink...
Angelina: She climbed over the bar (literally) and got to work.
Vasile: Vasile looked to Kav. "Now what did she do to deserve that," he teased.
Antony:At Zach's comment, Antony simply grinned and glanced over to Kaveri before patting her lap, "You're standing and I'm lazy."
Alec: Alec burst out laughing, though he could've seen that from a mile away on a foggy eve in Devon. "Thas more like i'!"
Cassidy: Cass shook her head. Guys kissing, now girls... It was a good thing she'd had such an easy dare.
Ambrose Maurlias: "there goes my idea." Ambrose sighed overdramatically, glancing between Emelyn and Angelina. It would be copying now. Damn. He then looked warily at the small brunette in front of the bottles of alcohol.
Kaveri: Kaveri shrugs, smiling. "I've kissed a girl before, I can do it again." She looks over to Antony, tilting her head before starting to approach her. "You can't live in Olympia without kissing a girl."
Alec: "'ow far's Olivia from 'ere?" Alec called out, laughing and obviously feeling the vodka a bit.
Antony:Antony simply grinned, leaning up when she was close enough to whisper in her ear, "Want to be cruel and give the men a show?" She had enough alcohol in her for that.
Emelyn:: Emelyn heard Ambrose's words- then saw his gaze shift between her and his girlfriend. Her eyes narrowed at the man, and she decided one thing. ...She didn't very much like Ambrose when he was drunk.
Angelina: Angelina didn't seem to notice or care abuot the comment, too busy pouring over drink recipes and pulling out an assortment of bottles.
Kaveri: "Ah, why the hell not," Kaveri whispers back, curling an arm around Antony's waist and pulling the other woman towards her.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose's lament was soon distracted (fortunately not noticing Emelyn's glare) and hypocritically turned to watch the show.
Antony:Grinning, she moved her right hand to the back of the woman's neck, pulling her down with an audible purr. Time for a sadistic show.
Alec: Alec watched, drink in hand at what was guaranteed to be entertainment.
Zachary: After Kaveri left, Zach moved to sit by Emelyn, having spared her from his barely-vengeful dare. He watched Antony and Kaveri, still not moving his hand from its place in front of his mouth.
Emelyn:: "Cat got your tongue?" Em said to Zach in a kinder tone of voice, and reached up to pull his hand down to his lap. She wondered why he'd come to sit with her- and hoped it wasn't... pity.
Angelina: Angelina cleared her throat for Ambrose's attention, sliding a tall glass his way. "Its called a Waikiki Woo Woo!!" she exclaimed, proud of herself
Kaveri: Kaveri bares her teeth in a grin, putting her other hand behind Antony's neck and allowing herself to get pulled down. Let's get this party started!
Cassidy: Cass glanced up at Vasile, and then appeared to decide that the bottom of her glass was very interesting indeed.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose, momentarily distracted, smacked his lips and took the tall, fruity drink from the grinning woman's hands, smelling it cautiously.
Ambrose Maurlias: His tongue flicked into the mixture, letting the rum-based fruit drink tingle it before grinning and lapping at it with gusto. "Not bad." He replied wryly.
Antony:Antony immediately caught her in a passionate kiss, groaning softly in order to make sure that those that weren't 'allowed' to watch could hear them. She was trying to torture people damnit!
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose's ears crumpled back, eyes darting to the scene daringly
Alec: Alec forced himself to stare at his glass's contents as he whistled a little tune that didn't seem to do the trick in drowning out the "noises" that beckoned everyone's attention.
Cassidy: Cass looked up involuntarily, squeaked, and looked back down. Okay. This was almost punishment for admitting that stupid kiss.
Angelina: Angelina looked rather unphased, but amused
Zachary: "I don't think that was a cat..." he mumbled quietly, gazing in the direction of Alec. He was about to speak again when Antony's loud sounds interrupted him. He smiled at Emelyn, face still very red. "What have I done?"
Kaveri: Kaveri leans into the kiss with much panache, adding to the noise with an amused 'ooo!' squeal, running her hands up into Antony's hair. What a beautiful trainwreck!
Amaya: Amaya wasn't really bothered either, or at least she tried to make it look that way. Green eyes stared at the tabletop, her chest feeling tight.
Emelyn:: For the most part, Emelyn ignored the kiss, as she laughed gently at Zach. "You've just owned up to a dare. Nothing more, nothing less. Don't agonize over it. You did well," she smiled.
Antony:Backing them both up so that she was able to sit down again and pull the other woman closer between her legs, tilting her head to the side to deepen the kiss.
Angelina: Angelina would elbow Ambrose in the ribs if his attentioin got too focused.
Vasile: Vasile leaned down. "Kissed like that?"
Fiona: Fiona watched out of the corner of her eye a tad curiously, if only to know all the gory details for storytelling at a later date. They certainly seemed to be... enjoying themselves.
Alec: Alec looked a little uncomfortable to say the least where he sat amongst the group, thankfully his alcohol was doing its job at making him clueless.
Cassidy: "Ummmm." Cassidy fidgeted without looking at Vasile. "Something like that. Maybe."
Vasile: Vasile just grinned to himself.
Kaveri: "Mrmphpht!" Kaveri tries to cry out, but continues to let Antony take the lead.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose blinked. IT was... still going? As his stare lingered he felt the sharp elbow in his ribs and pulled his attention away.
Antony:Antony lingered with the kiss for a minute or so longer before pulling back to catch her breath, eyes still closed as her lips curled into a lopsided smirk. "Kiss enough for you Zachypoo?"
Angelina: She wrapped her arms around him tightly.
kimie kitty chan: Nita sat at the back of the group with some sort of fruity drink in her hand, amused at all the goings-on.
Antony:Glancing over to Ambrose, she waggled her eyebrows at Angelina with a knowing expression. The art of manipulating men included more than eyelash batting.
Kaveri: Kaveri attempts to wriggle out of Antony's grip, laughing hard. "Oh man," she gasped, "that was a hell of a thing." Wiping her forehead, she goes to sit back down. Now it was her turn? Hmm... who to pick?
Zachary: Zach looked from Emelyn once more to quickly roll his eyes at Antony. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were enjoying it more than us guys were." He turned back to Emelyn again.
Kaveri: She glances around the room, twirling her finger in the air to pull out the next victim.
Antony:"Kissing is kissing," she said simply, figuring the comment explained itself.
Fiona: Fiona snorted in response to Zach's comment. "No, I don't think that's possible." She gave something partway between a smirk and a sneer.
Fiona: ((Fee hasn't been picked. *belated*))
Kaveri: "Hm... how about the, uh... wolf dude?" Kaveri jabs an unsure finger in Ambrose's direction. "Truth or dare?"
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose blinked, pointing a clawed finger at himself before smiling, tail thumping. "Me?" He smiled, glancing around. He couldn't chicken out in response to everyone else.
Ambrose Maurlias: "Dare. And the name's Ambrose" he smiled.
Angelina: Angelina slipped out of his lap, sitting next him. "Wolf-dude" she snickered.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose stuck his tongue out at Angelina.
Antony:Antony wolf-whistled at him before adding a casual wink.
Kaveri: "Yeah! Alright, Ambrose," Kaveri grins, rubbing her hands together deviously, "I dare you to... kiss the green chick over there. Yeah, her--" She points at Amaya.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose blinked, and looked to Amaya, who had been remarkably quiet and sullen, he realized, scratched the back of his head. She was his 'little sister'!
Angelina: Angelina straightened up, pouting.
Amaya: WHAT?! The look on her face couldn't be described in words.
Alec: "Amaya kisses!" Alec randomly blurted out, grinning like a fool. Why not? She needed a good kiss to lighten her up.
Ambrose Maurlias: But... a dare was a dare, right? he got to his feet, giving an apologetic look first to Angelina, and then kneeled over to Amaya. "I'm sorry, 'sis'." He winced, rubbing his paw across the top of her head.
Antony:Blinking, the squirrel looked back and forth between Amaya, Ambrose, and LashBatter. Oh this would be interesting.
Ambrose Maurlias: Then, glancing around, he smirked, and gaver her a big, wet 'dog' kiss - licked up the side of her cheek.
Angelina: Angelina chuckeled, making herself relax.
Amaya: Amaya was tensed up and ready to bolt when a wet, sloppy tongue made contact with her face. She blinked a few times before realizing that was it. Oh thank god. "S'ok, that was nice."
Emelyn:: "Awwww... a patented Zachy kiss," Em said, clapping her hands with glee. She had wondered how Ambrose would make it so it wasn't awkward- considering the sort of relationship they shared.
Ambrose Maurlias: He chuckled, his tail thumping as he stood up again and, with a hand to his chin, regarded the dozen or so people around him with a mirthful light in his hand.
Alec: Alec clapped his hands, enjoying the dare. "Awww...." Despite his half-drunken state he knew Amaya would've been upset over anything more than that.
Amaya: Indeed she would have. The last thing she wanted was her first kiss to be from her 'big brother'.
Ambrose Maurlias: "Angelina!" He spun, tail motoring. "Truth or dare."
Angelina: She leaned forward, a predatory gleam in her eye. "Dare."
Ambrose Maurlias: He grinned toothily, the possibilities spirialing in his mind. Then, with a grin, he vaulted over the bar, grabbed another bananna and tossed it at her. "Show up Antony!"
Angelina: Angelina blinked. "With who?"
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose guffawed. "I was just going to say the bananna... but I mean... if you WANTED to give us a show...." He chuckled.
Angelina: Angelina couldn't help stop the blush. "BUt...
Angelina: you know how I good I am!"
Ambrose Maurlias: It was Ambrose's turn to turn red.
Emelyn:: Emelyn covered her eyes with her hands. This was a subject she wished she werent as privvy to as she was...
Ambrose Maurlias: He gesticulated in the vague direction of the fruit. "Well... you know... do a ... production... sort of thing."
Angelina: Angelina grumbled to herself, swiping the fruit out of his hand. She looked at it and sighed. No way she could deep-throat like Antony could...
Fiona: Fiona snickered, humming a tune and muttering lyrics: something along the lines of "This s**t is bananas- B-A-N-A-N-A-S!"
Zachary: Zach's blush had started to fade, but returned when Emelyn used a pet name of sorts for him. He glanced over at her quickly before closing his eyes as the banana stunt was about to be repeated.
Antony:Antony rolled her eyes, but said nothing for now, simply glancing over to Alec briefly and cocking an eyebrow.
Angelina: But... worth with what God gave you... Angelina closed her eyes, trying to concetrate then she heard Fee. "Oh nO! I HATE that song!"
Fiona: "So do I," she said with a wince, "But it popped into my head. Fits perfectly, don't you think?" Oooh, a double entendre.
Alec: Alec was shaking his head, not sure if his teenage hormones could take mcuh more of this. "Give a' guy a' BREAK alreadeh!" He laughed though he was partially serious. Think cooold showers.
Angelina: She huffed and closed her eyes again, trying to forget there was a whole group of people watching her.
Kaveri: "Yes, we have no bananas," Kaveri croons, resting her hands on her hips.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose groaned at the puns, but not without a healthy dose of chuckles.
Angelina: She went to work on the banana... though maybe not as deep as Antony, she tried to make up with lots of tongue and lip work, completely with sloppy sucking noises.
Angelina: When it was done, she was beet-red and flung the fruit squarely at her boyfriends head.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose let loose a startled yelp as he was beaned with the bananna, fumbled to catch it after it connected squarely in his chest.
Ambrose Maurlias: To try to reply, he gave it a sniff, peeled it, and then ate it after sticking out his tongue again at her.
Emelyn:: Emelyn actually snorted as the projectile fruit bounced off its target.
Antony:Antony laughed out loud, relaxing with a smug smile to herself. After that show, the tattooed woman hadn't lost any of her confidence.
Antony:"I'd like to point out in both our defenses, banana's are far from the real thing."
Angelina: Angelina tried to calm herself down, but it was hard to chose who she wanted to pick next without ...looking at people. "What about you," she asked, pointed to the quiet girl in the back. (Nitta). "Truth or dare?"
Antony:bananas*
Ambrose Maurlias: "I'll accept that." Ambrose replied to Antony. "No way in hell would I eat the real thing." He winked, the banana halfway devoured.
kimie kitty chan: Nita's head jerked up. Damn. She'd been spotted. "Um.." She took a big swig of whatever she was drinking. "What the hell. Dare."
Antony:"Detachable p***s!" She cried, busting into giggles. She hadn't heard that song in forever.

Ambrose Maurlias
Drinking Party
Part 2

Angelina: Angelina looked around the bar, not wanting anything too drastic to the girl. She didn't know her well, and she looked shy.
Angelina: She reached behind the bar and found a can of whipped cream. "Spray a bit on someone's something of your chosing." She handed the can to her confidently
Angelina: "And lick it off."
Alec: Alec was amused by Nita's dare, figuring she'd get what she asked for. What could he say? Torturing the quiet girl was THAT fun.
Kaveri: "Scandalous," Kaveri chirps with amusement.
kimie kitty chan: Nita turned slightly pink and glanced around the group. Who did she know? She stood up slowly and approached Fiona.
Angelina: Angelina winked at Kav. "that depends on what she chooses!"
kimie kitty chan: Eyebrows raised and wondering what on earth she was doing, Nita sprayed a sizeable dollop of whipped cream right onto Fee's nose.
Fiona: Fiona laughed, twitching her nose. "Go for it. Looks tasty."
kimie kitty chan: She leaned forward and smooch/licked the sweet stuff off. Turning around, she stuck her tongue out at Angelina (see-food style, of course) and took a bow.
Angelina: Angelina laughed, clapping for her.
Fiona: The girl joined in clapping, giving Nita a brief wink. "See, that was pretty tame."
kimie kitty chan: Nita flopped down on the sand next to Fee. Might as well join the party.
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose raised his glass, taking a few swallows, curious to see how creative the redhead was.
Antony:Antony pushed away her empty shotglass, not wanting to get too far gone in this crowd.
Alec: Alec was starting to feel the alcohol a bit more than he had before, drowsily slumping as a telltale sign that it was almost lights-out-time for the punk teen.
Amaya: Amaya glanced at Alec, feeling a little tired too... which was probably from the decreasing tempature. "Am I gonna have to drag you back to your room?" She raised a brow.
kimie kitty chan: "Oh yeah, I guess that means it's my turn." Nita poked Fee in the arm. "Truth or dare?"
Zachary: Zach was glad he hadn't touched any alcohol. He was perfectly content to sit with Emelyn and occasionally glance at the truth-or-dare antics.
Alec: Alec smirked, leaning against the iguana girl. "Meeehbeh." He smiled, feeling as if he could fall asleep right there regardless.
Amaya: The reptile snorted. "What number is it again?"
Fiona: Fiona sighed melodramatically. "Truth is so boring, but everyone's picked dare. I don't want to be a sheep following the herd. But... what the hell... dare me!"
Antony:Glancing at the two teens, she chuckled softly, "Do you want me to drag him back since it's getting chillier?" She was referring to Amaya's cold-bloodedness.
Alec: The teen shrugged, unable to remember or care. "Aaaah d'neh. Ask th' reddeh." He snickered at Amaya's question, pointing to Nita, miraculously remembering that she apparently lived above him.
kimie kitty chan: Nita rolled her eyes. "He's in 41. Lucky you, you won't have to drag him up a flight of stairs."
Amaya: "Nah, I can do it... I should head back soon anyway. I still have a little sunlight left in me." Amaya glanced over at the sun, then back to Alec. "Ugh, I'll take a wild guess then."
Amaya: "Oh, thanks." Amaya snorted and smiled at Nita before standing.
kimie kitty chan: Nita eyed Fiona speculatively. "And as for you... how about you flash our good buddy Zach."
Ambrose Maurlias: Ambrose spluttered again.
Angelina: Angelina's brows raised. Shy little red-head was upping the stakes.
Ambrose Maurlias: "I thought you were shy!" Ambrose coughed.
kimie kitty chan: "Did you now?" Nita grinned.
Vasile: Vasile looked VERY interested, leaning forward
Ambrose Maurlias: "Apparently incorrectly!" He grinned back.
Kaveri: "Looks like lizardman's getting a lot of attention tonight," Kaveri howls with laughter, slapping her knee.
Angelina: Angelina covered Ambrose's eyes.
Emelyn:: Emelyn gasped, and throttled Zach back and forth by yanking on his one arm. "Oh, don't let her do it, Zach."
Ambrose Maurlias: "Heyyyy - if I can't look, neither can Vasile!" Ambrose protested.
Angelina: "But I can't let your virgin eyes seeeeeee..." she whined.
Fiona: "Only Zach?" She asked, unimpressed. "If you say so." She gave a broad smirk to her audience, turned in the indicated man's general direction, and completely removed her top.
Vasile: "Hey now, Ambrose. Don't hate."
Amaya: "So, you ready to stumble home?" Amaya seemed to zone out everyone else as she grabbed Alec's arm closest to her and swun it behind her neck, just in case the poor guy stumbled face-first into the sand.
Kaveri: Kaveri whistles loudly.
Zachary: Zach was jerked around a bit by his arm before glaring at Nita and Kaveri in turn.
Emelyn:: Emelyn, sitting directly against the dragon-man's side- got a full view as well. Her jaw dropped- more out of shock that the girl did it so freely, rather than at the sight- which was common enough to her.
Antony:"Virgin... HAH!"
Vasile: Vasile smiled quietly to himself.
Ambrose Maurlias: AMbrose could tell by the sounds, and even the scents that boasted of mass shock, that he was missing a good show. His ears drooped but he didn't dare voice his protest.
Alec: Alec was happy-carefree as he clung to his friend's shoulder, giving a grin to the rest of the crowd. "Baaaai ev'r'one." He waved and looked rather unsteady standing there.
Ambrose Maurlias: "Bye Alec, bye Amaya~" Ambrose said halfheatedly from behind Angelina's hands
Amaya: Amaya nodded a goodbye as well before dragging the drunken teen back to his room.

"... Now tha's one pisseh goose."

Alec Derring
The door to the caf swung open a little too hard, hitting the stop behind as a rather dishevelled Alec entered, looking just as good as he had the last time he had been seen by anybody in this place. "Fookin' food, fookin' smell makes me wanna puke." He grumbled, sulking over to the woman on duty to ask for some aspirin for his headache. He grabbed a little grub and lots of water, turning to rest in a chair to hopefully rid himself from the dizziness of his hangover.

Just as the teen stumbled over to a seat, he saw a leg jutting out from behind a table and approached to find a furred woman laying unconscious. "Huh." He quirked an eyebrow, watching the clearly-transformed female for a moment before sitting down in a nearby chair. "A' guess a' wasn't th'onleh one t'parteh hard last nigh'." He mumbled before stooping down to get a better look at her face.

"Uh.... y'alrigh'? 'llo?"

Lauren Granger
For a while, Lauren was trapped out in the oblivion of REM.

But then... she heard something. A voice? What happened... she was on the floor?!

Suddenly her mind awoke as if hit with cold water, Lauren sat right up, possibly knocking Alec in the head with her horns accidently. "What the ********!?" She screamed.

Alec Derring
Alec managed to evade the horns, swinging back in alarm and subsequently smacking the back of his head into the edge of the table. "AHHH!" The pain only added to the teen's already-sore head and he collapsed into a heap besides the awakened woman, holding the bump that was already forming. "RELAX!" He flailed his free hand at her, trying to bring her around so she'd figure out that she was alright. "Ye 'keh there? Y'need a doc o' somethin?"

Lauren Granger
Lauren was very confused about what happened. She sat up, blinking at this new person in front of her. He wasn't Fiona. "Where is she?" Lauren asked. "She was JUST here, I was just behind her and then..." She almost hissed out her teeth, she was so angry at the situation. "I just... fell."

Alec Derring
The punk teen blinked and sat down on his behind, pressing his back up against the leg of the table they were near. He stared at her obvious anger, quietly hoping it wouldn't be directed towards him. "Where's 'ou?" He tentatively asked, taking a casual bite of his peach and getting rather comfy on the hard floor. "Did'jeh hit ye 'ead?" He motioned lazily to her horns. Maybe she was delusional from a concussion.

Lauren Granger
Lauren reached her hand up to her head, feeling for any bumps. "Fiona... I think... and no." She looked around the room, starting to calm down a bit. Taking a few breaths Lauren started comming back to her senses.

She smelled the air, it reeked of alcohol. This guy had been drinking.

Suddenly she realised what happened, Lauren nearly jumped as she reached for the back of her neck, "******** CHIP!" She said, rather angry but calmer then before. She looked at the spikey haired boy, "Who the hell are you?" Her manners obviously lost with the confusion.

Alec Derring
Alec raised a studded brow, taking another bite of his food. "Nice t'see ye feelin' betteh." He sarcastically responded to her brash attitude, acting naively comfident around this strange islander. He wondered why he'd even bothered caring in the first place. "Alec, nice t'meet ye." He gave a forced smile and rose from his seat on the floor, holding the peach in one hand while offering the other to the disshevelled Lauren to help her get up. "He had little idea what she was talking about but was amused to watch her coil herself into a fit regardless.

Lauren Granger
"Lauren" The girl simply replied taking his hand with her furry clawed hand. "I suppose I am." She wanted to tear out that damn control chip, the only part of being a subject she hated. She should be treated better than the others, I mean Moreau said she was like his daughter after all.

Lauren sighed, trying to calm down. Even though she was the same age as Alec, she was taller than the boy, even with the spikey mohawk. "Wicked hair." She complemented. "Where are you from?"

She hoped he wouldn't be as fervent as Fiona had just been. She couldn't control herself at this moment and was trying hard not to take things out on the poor guy.

Alec Derring
Alec gave a wry grin at the compliment, finishing off his snack with much pleasure. "Thank ye!" Seeing as she had cooled down a bit, he kicked a chair over and flopped down into it. "'Am from Ireland. An' ye?" He propped up his legs onto the table, wanting to ask about this 'chip' but deciding now was not the time. "A' lack ye horns. Wha' ye turnin' in'teh?"

Lauren Granger
Lauren sat down in her chair, leaning on the table and slouching her head into her clawed hand. "Ireland? They have punk music there?" His look did scream it after all and Lauren wasn't afraid that her comment sounded stupid. "Oregon origionally, but ran away to L.A. and lived there a year before I came here"

She shot him a fanged smile at his comment, "Yellow Mongoose, and the horns... I asked for them. They were a gift from Moreau."

Alec Derring
Alec nodded soberly at her question, finding it humorous that she didn't know the irish had punk music though he chose not to laugh. She seemed a little on-edge already. "Neveh been." He commented off-handedly, a fairly repeated saying seeing as he hadn't even travelled anywhere in the US or otherwise.

He was pleased to see her rather content with her transformation, a healthy change from the poor suffering people he'd met so far. "Ye," he began, chuckling at her comment. "th'Doc seems vereh generous." He smirked in reference to his own 'gift' in his duplex, though his sarcasm wouldn't be apparent to anyone who didn't know him well.

Lauren Granger
Lauren took his comment literally, but just because she wanted to meet more people who liked the doc so badly. This was especially strong after her run in with Fee. "Yeah, he is when you get on his good side. He'll give ya everything you want and need." She smiled back at him, he didn't seem half bad.

Alec Derring
Alec huffed, thinking she was going along with his joke, reaching for an egg salad sandwich he'd grabbed without thinking and stuffing it into his mouth. "Ye think 'e'd turn ye in'teh somethin ye want if yer nice to 'im?" He asked with a muffled tone, speaknig with a full mouth wih little-to-no regard for any manners whatsoever. "Lack a' DINO-sehr?" The teen couldn't help but regress to an immature state of mind, reaching back to his childhood love for old-school dinosaur attack movies.

Lauren Granger
Lauren laughed a bit, "He already injected you with ******** your gonna be DNA. He can't change it, but he can add to it." She smiled, "And I don't think he could get dinosaur dna" She was oblivious to what Kim was turning into.

Lauren didn't even pay attention to the lack of manners. She found herself relaxed because this guy didn't hide anything. Of course Lauren kind of thought Alec might not have much to hide.

Alec Derring
Alec wrinkled his nose, gnawing with his front teeth on a piece of egg with a sour look on his face. "Ye." He mumbled, clearly disappointed. A T-Rex would've kicked so much a**. "A' just 'ope a' d'n turn in'teh anythin like Bobbeh or somethin." The irish boy scratched his head and stuffed the rest of his sandwich into his waiting jaws. Unable to make any further bland conversation, he took the opportunity to stare at the details of Lauren's form, wondering what a mongoose looked like and other aspects of her personality.

Lauren Granger
A nervous laughter escaped Lauren's black lips as the conversation lulled and Alec seemed to be staring her up and down. She covered up the bit of furry cleavage that was revealed by her tight tank top. "******** man." She said to him, they all seemed to be the same, "Can't guys think about anything else?" She herself was oblivious to the fact that it was possibly totally innocent. She had met people that looked similar to Alec, although a lot less nice and with a lot more dirt and grime.

Alec Derring
Alec fidgetted in his seat, frowning furiously at the accusation. "Wuuut?" He grunted, folding his arms on the tabletop as he poked at his fries with his index finger. "A' wasn't!" He gave up trying to defend himself, the immature teen turning red out of embarassment. It was bad enough he was horrible in the girl's department but it was another thing that he was honestly not even interested in those thought processes at the time. He was too young, too stupid, too immature. Antony had been the only exception, understandably.

Lauren Granger
Lauren watched the boy turning red in embarassment, giving him a small smirk, "Alright sorry." She looked at herself. "I keep forgetting I must look like some ******** up freak to you humans." She was shocked as she just differentiated herself from him. Was she not human anymore? Thinking about this for a second, Lauren decided she didn't want to be. She had too many problems with people in the past to want to be like any of them.

"Well, I'm freakish and hairy mongoose woman, but I like it. I mean the feet yeah, they're huge and weird and I trip over them but I'm getting the hang of them." She started the yawn, the days episodes getting to her. Maybe it was time to head to her duplex soon.

Alec Derring
Alec got over his embarassment and nodded, agreeing with what she was saying for the most part. "At least ye comfortable with i'. It's good ye like 'ou ye are." He poked at another fry before realizing he didn't want them much anymore, retreating his hand to the waterbottle in an attempt to try and drown his hangover headache. "There's a lotta people sufferin..." He paused, as if actually contemplating a thoughtful statement. "but a' think acceptin i' is a good thing. S'not like we're goin 'ome anymore..." He stared down at the water bottle in his hand like it was the most entertaining thing in the world at the time.

Lauren Granger
Lauren's brain felt like it was melting as she talked to Alec. He wasn't very bright now was he? "Yeah... lots of people suffering..." She said with no interest or compassion. She nodded in uninterested agreement with the rest of what Alec said. "Well, it was nice meeting you, but I'm really tired... being forced to sleep by the microchip in my ******** head." Lauren got up and grabbed her things. "See ya Alec." She left out the door to her duplex.

She hated that stupid chip.

Alec Derring
Alec glanced up and rolled his eyes, hopefully when she wasn't looking. "Ye, don' go fallin' asleep on floors." He snickered, gesturing a parting wave. "Seeya."

Alec the Electrician

Awen Zyn
Awen sat by the TV in the gaes room. She had the entertainment system pulled a little way fro mthe wall and was sorting through a mess of wires. "Urk, who hooked up all of these things? What a complete disaster!"

She had meant to pop in quick and grab her PS2 to haul it back to her room for a bit, but the wires had completely slowed her down. "Knots....how do you get knots in this kind of thing, for gosh sakes!"

Alec Derring
Alec waltzed into the entertainment room, intent on trying his hand at some Xbox gaming so hopefully he wouldn't be that horrible once he finally got Rex to play with him. He wasn't surprised when he saw someone in the room once he entered, having heard her grumblings from a ways away.

"Problem?" He coyly smirked, watching her wrestle with the wires as he approached. He could see she was clearly one of the "changed" but by that time it didn't faze the punkster one bit.

Awen Zyn
Awen paused to blink up at the guy with the moehawk and blinked. Sure people around her were changing into animals, sure the science fiction had turned not so fictiony...but that type of haircut...always confused and bewildered the poor girl. She smiled brightly and waved anyway. New islander...ish...but may as well be nice to him.

"A few." She laughed looking back to the wires. "I was just trying to take my PS2 back to my room... but I think it has some other plans." She sighed and flopped the wires down.

Alec Derring
The teen took it upon himself to take a look at what was hindering her, wandering over to peek behind the tv at the catastrophe of knotted wires and misconnected plugs. If she knew him well enough she'd have told him to keep his nose out of it. Alec Derring knew little about electronics. "Lemme tek-a look." He smiled and butted around the other side of the tv at the mess. "Hm..." Before anything else could be said, he kneeled down and began rummaging through the mass of cables, trying to figure out where one ended and other began.

Awen Zyn
Awen blinked and watched as he took a look at the wires from the other side. She didn't see the harm in it. "Well... it's not totally nessisary. I know what cords are what. I'm just not very good at getting the knots undone. Um.."

She held up a webbed hand and sort of wriggled her fingers a bit. "Not as good at finer work as they used to be." She gave a weak little 'heh'.

Alec Derring
Alec blinked and looked up, giving a blank stare at the girl. "Oh." He only gave her hand a short look before looking back down at the mess in his hands. "Well, if ye know wha' goes where..." He trailed off before reaching up, yanking a bundle of cord out of the wall in one fist. Pleased with his solution, he went about untangling the knots one by one now much easier without them attached to anything on one end.

"Wha' ye name?" He 'politely' asked, face down in his work.

Awen Zyn
Awen's eyes went wide as he yanked the cords out from where they were supposed to go. She knew where they went because she saw where each connected. If she could have gotten the right ones out...she had been working from her PS2 and back not the other way around. Her mouth hung open still for a few seconds after he asked the question.

"Uhh....I'm Awen...." She blinked again. It would take awhile for her to figure out where to plug things back into. Oh well..nothing she could do now. "Awen Zyn. What about you?"

She sat back and let the man work.

Alec Derring
Alec went about unthreading the cables from eachother, easily prying the PS2 from the mess and placing it aside. "Alec Derring." He leisurely replied, moving on to another set of knots. Finally something to do around this place! "Nice t'meet ye. A gameh?" He motioned his head to the gaming console, impressed that it was hers.

Awen Zyn
She nodded slowly and chuckled a bit. "As much a one can be here anyway...." She gave a small smiled. "Um... the GameCube and games are mine, the Xbox is the island's. If ever you see a 360 in here, mine as well. Unless Lauren brought her's in..then that's different. But yeah mostly my stuff. I know Kim..." Awen just realsed she hadn't seen Kim in a long time. "Is a fellow gamer, I'm not entirely sure what she has here... a lot more handhelds than I have. Oh! But I got this modified PSP. I can play it while I'm underwater, it is so cool."

Alec Derring
Alec gawked as she rhymed off all the consoles she owned, amazed that there would be such a hardcore gamer on the island, much less a female one. He honestly hadn't had the opportunity to play anything like that back home. "Wateh?" He crooked an eyebrow, fiddling the mess of wires in his hands. It was an odd thing to modify a handheld for, admittedly never thinking it was even possible.

Making quick work of the rest of the knots, the teen turned and stare at the now-empty sockets that presented a new and unforseen problem for him. "Uh..." He began, jaw opening as he pointed to the puzzling connections as if she knew the answer.

Awen Zyn
Awen chuckled a bit and took the cords from him. She started working her magic reconnecting the wires that Alec had just untangled. "Not a problem...not a problem." It was actually a lot easier than she thought to figure out what went where. She paused occasionally to check where a cord was connected to originally.

"Yeah, you know so I can play underwater...when I'm in the lake or something re-hydrating my skin. What do you think I've got all these webs for?" She laughed.

Alec shuffled to the side to allow her more room to work. He mutely watched her go about reconnecting the web of wires he had yanked out, figuring he'd 'helped' enough. "Lake?" He sideglanced to her, a little confused by her explaination. It didn't help that he had never really bothered to notice there was a large lake nearby.

"A' d'neh." He mumbled, not realizing she had asked a rhetorical sort of question. He knew little about marine life enough to pinpoint what she was turning into by sight. "Ye turnin in'teh a fish?" He decided to outright ask, naively like a child would.

She smiled up at him from her work and nodded. "Manta ray to be exact. Not really the typical fish.... kind of solo creatures, ya know, eats fish, only get bullied by sharks. Real masters of the water....er.. from what I read anyway. Never cared for water much before. Figured I'd brush up a bit, so I could know what to expect." She looked back down to her work and kept plugging away. Idly she wondered what the teen infront of her was turning into. "So... how long have you been on the island?"

Alec Derring
Alec seemed a little lsot in thought as she spoke about the animal she was being transformed into, silently considering looking up pictures in one of those... books. Doorstops.

"A week o' two?" He fidgetted with the chain hanging from the pocket of his plaid shorts, tugging on each link as he continued to watch her work. "A' kinda lost track, yanno?" He chuckled a little, not really minding. If there was more to do then maybe he'd have an excuse for not keeping track of time. "Ye?" He paused for a second before deducing his own answer. "A long time a' guess."

Awen Zyn
She nodded slowly as she plugged in the last cord and sat back. "Yeah.... a long time." How long had it been anyway? She sat for the moment in thought. Woah... "Six months..." She said softly as thought it was the first time she had realised it herself.

Had it already been half of a year that she had been on the island? Had it been so long a time? A cold chill ran through her body.

But Awen ignored it. She stood up and pushed the entertainment system back to the wall. "Ah well. Guess you're still getting used to the island? Where ya from?"

Alec Derring
Alec chuckled, shaking his head. "A' keep thinkin 'am used t'i' yanno?" Seeing as Awen was replacing the electronics to their proper position, he figured the job was finished and he got up to flop down onto a couch instead. "An' then somethin new's thrown a' me." The teen shrugged it off. He was too carefree to worry about the bigger picture anyways. "Ah well, a' d'n care anymore." He smirked and stretched his arms over his head. "Belfast. Ye?"

Awen Zyn
"Barrie." She replied as she sat down on hte couch across from him. "As in Ontario, Canada." She paused a second thinking about something. But eventually she just blurted it. "Where the heck is Belfast?"

Alec Derring
Alec started to laugh, not realizing he hadn't given enough information. "Northern Ireland, UK?" He thought for a moment, pointing to Awen as the figured out what he was trying to remember. "Some'un else's from Canada." He struggled to put his finger on it, eventually remembering. "Annie! An' 'er friend Fiona. Thas righ'." He mentioned it for relevence, figuring Canada was a small place so maybe they had some similarity? It always helped to find commonality in neighbors.

Awen Zyn
"Oh?" Awen's eyes sparkled curiously. "So Fee and Annie are from Canada, eh? I never knew that. Barely met the two anyway..." She shrugged a little bit. A small knot in her stomach set in remembering her betrayal as far as Fee was concerned. But that wasn't betraying. No. She was keeping the girl from getting hurt.

"Ireland then eh? Pretty cool. I figured something like that...but I'm horrible at placing accents exactly. Like, even some Canadians still have Irish accents, you just never can tell sometimes
."

Alec Derring
"Realleh?" He found this particularly interesting. "Are there irish people 'n Canada?" It seemed like such a stupid question, but for a kid that had never even travelled out of his country it was difficult to imagine what the rest of the world was like.

Abandoning his last thought, he leaned a bit closer to Awen and lowered his voice. "Hey. Are ye gon' be stuck 'n a fishbowl?"

Awen Zyn
"Oh course there are Irish people in Cana-" She blinked as he had already moved on and decided to abandon the thought as well.

It took her aback and made her frown a little bit. "I... I don't know." She shifted her weight uncomfortably. "I might be.... but they might just dump me in the lake instead."

Alec Derring
Alec slumped back into his seat, both satisfied by AWen's answer and disturbed at the possibilities. To him, that would be worse than being turned into a pig. He didn't notice her obvious change in disposition at his last question, often too lost in his own chaotic thoughts to see the reactions in another people. Her silence however, caught his attention seeing as he expected her to go on about the future, to used to some other islanders' openness to their situation. He glanced up and saw her fidget, immediately feeling guilty for upsetting her. "Sorreh. A' get ahead o' meself." He muttered and looked away, frowning at the black screen of the tv.

Awen Zyn
"Ah it's no problem." She gave him a half grin. "Just kind of been on my mind lately anyway. I was the first.... to be turning into something that lives underwater. I don't know if I'm going to change again....or what will happen to me when I do. Loose my legs? Loose my lungs? I mean there's a possibility I might not be able to breathe air at all after my next change, if I change again. It's just a little...worrying. And just me you have nothing to be sorry for." She gave the guy a smile before she stood up slowly.

"But hey, you came in here prolly for a reason, right? I should be takin' my PS2 and heading out..."

Alec Derring
Alec nodded, having difficulty remembering that he had originally come in there to play some Xbox by himself. "Ye," He nodded, scratching the back of his head. "don' worry about i', nothin' impor'nt anyways." He smirked, hoping this would occupy him for at least a few hours. Recently he'd been getting very bored and his mind often wandered when he was too bored.

Awen Zyn
"Yeah I guess so." She went and picked up her PS2 and grabbe the games to go with it. "When ever you have time if you want to play this or the 360 just go to duplex twenty one." She gestured towards the duplexes. "Just ya know knock and stuff. And be careful not to sit in the tank... it's what I got instead of a bed." She chuckled and moved out of the entertainment room and yawned.

Alec Derring
Alec smirked, only finding her joke partially humorous though he was sure she meant it the same. "Take i' easeh." He waved to the manta girl as she was leaving, "'n thanks." The punk teen turned, now left to his own devices as he stared at the tv and console systems. Now to figure out how to turn it all on.

In the jungle, the mighty jungle

Rex Vadnais
The morning after the big beach party, Rex woke up with a minor headache, thoguh nothing big. He hadn't had more than a few beers. He forced himself out of bed, took a shower and decided to go on a walk fo a change.

He made his way into the jungle for the first time since the labs had reopened. The familiar sounds of birds and monkies filled the air and the distant sound of the bubbling river could be heard humming in his ear. Nothing was more peaceful than a walk by yourself, though something deep inside him mourned for company and socialization.

Alec Derring
Alec wandered the thick jungle, away from the duplexes and any other builing he usually frequented. He had skipped out on the beach party, at the last minute allowing his anti-social and predictable knack at avoiding any and all social events kicking in to full gear. In all honesty he was growing a little tired of hanging out in the enterainment room, cafeteria and the like and was currently seeking relief by wandering through a part of the jungle he hadn't bothered to adventure to before.

"Fookin' trees." He muttered to himself, hands stuffed into the pockets of his shorts as he bitterly trudged through the wilderness with his face angled towards the ground. He didn't expect anyone to be around, and he wasn't exactly paying attention enough to notice.

Amaya Vaughan
Unlike the other two, Amaya had wandered into the jungle for a purpose. When you stayed outside for almost two months, you got to know the jungle pretty well... so today, she set out to have a little snack and bask like all the other days.

She sat high in one of the many trees littering the jungle, munching on an apple as she stared through the thick canopy above. It was a beautiful day out... hopefully nothing would go wrong.

Then she caught motion from below, her tail twitching as it hung off the branch she sat on. Shoving the rest of her apple in her mouth she leaned over and spotted no one other then Alec. A smirk played on her features as she manuvered the apple core in her long, clawed fingers.

Closer...

Closer...

"Yo!" Bombs away!

Rex Vadnais
Rex's slightly increased hearing picked up on the quiet rustles of Alec. He turned around, searching for the source as his tail flicked keenly behind him. Amidst the trees, his blue eyes caught sight of a white shirt, then a body. "Hello...?" He couldn't make out who is was through the dense underbrush, but there was deffinately someone there.

He pushed the trees and vines from his way, prowling remotely in the canopy's shade.

Alec Derring
Alec continued minding his own business until he was abruptly attacked by a projectile apple core. "Wha' th' SHITE?" The irish boy almost tripped out of utter confusion, stumbling and righting himself to glare up at the tree he happened to be under. He was about to spew curses up at the foliage until he noticed the familiar reptilian form amongst the branches. "A-ha.. vereh funneh." He muttered, turning his head as he heard the greeting and matched the voice to the lion-man he'd met before. "Aye."

Amaya Vaughan
The iguana didn't seem to notice Rex until he began pushing through the underbrush. From such a high vantage point, you could see a lot... even if your vision was less then perfect. Looks like today would be an okay now that her two favorite guys were around.

"Sorry, I couldn't help myself!" Amaya called from above, then grabbed the branch she was sitting on, grabbing a lower one with her long, finger-like toes before dropping down onto it. She continued this until the branches became scattered and far apart. She then leaned foreward, her long claws digging into the bark and letting her come down rather easily head first.

Rex Vadnais
Rex came to the clearing that Alec and Amaya were in ust as Alec was wollapped promptly with the apple core from above. He laughed and took a few steps forward, looking up into the treetops. The camouflaged Amaya slinked down from the limbs, "Haddeh, guys!" He looked to the boy, pulling his name up from the jumbled mix of other islanders, he didn't want to make a fool of himself. "What're y'guys doing out here?"

Part of him was happy to have the unexpected company, though the solitude of the stroll had lost it's magic. At least he was now with people that he liked, as opposed to some others like Zach, for instance. He gave Amaya a big hug and nodded a head towards Alec, smiling inwardly.

Alec Derring
Alec gave a lopsided smile and waited for Amaya to crawl down from her vantage point before giving her a light shove, a weak comeback for the clever trick she'd pulled. "Ye ye."

He smirked and pivotted on his heels when he realized Rex was coming over, keeping his hands in his pockets. "Nuthin'." He shrugged blandly, not even having a viable reason for being there in the first place.

Amaya Vaughan
As soon as the girl has stepped on solid ground and stood up, she was swept into a hug by Rex. She grinned from ear to non-existant ear as she hugged him back. How she loved lion hugs.

Though at the shove, she simply stuck out her large, bright pink tongue. Ah, nothing like acting immature. Amaya stood by the tree, watching both of them from her lower vantage point now that she was out of her tree. "Wandering aimlessly?"

It felt odd to be with the two of them... kind of like a vetren hanging out with two young people. She was so changed, so different, so... animalistic. Sometimes the lizard felt she wasn't worthy of their company.

Rex Vadnais
Rex placed the lizard girl down and smiled. "Just a walk, well what do you know! The same with me. There was the party on the beach last night, but I got tired pretty early and bailed to bed." He shifted his weight and crossed his arms, still enjoying the luxury of clean, new clothes.

Alec Derring
Despite the 'relaxed' atmosphere he felt could be adopted around people he'd gotten close too like Amaya, Alec couldn't help but feel uneasy. It happened all the time, with Rex, Ambrose, any male he happened to meet, attributing it to a fear of getting his a** kicked. "Pretteh much." He offered the lazy response, kicking away some plant matter underfoot.

In an effort to make a better contribution to the conversation, the punk teen continued. "Was th' parteh fun?" He looked to Rex, then Amaya, assuming they'd both attended.

Amaya Vaughan
"A party? ... Ohhhh, yeah. That was last night?" Amaya blinked, having had no idea when it was supposed to take place. "I missed it. Oh well." She shrugged, not seeming too upset about it. After all, she had no idea who that Fiona person was and a large crowd with the possibility of people she didn't know being there was never really something she set out to go to.

The teen looked at Alec. "Guess you didn't go either then?"

Then she noticed something different about him, though it took her a minute of glancing to finally put her finger on it. "You ask for new clothes?"

Rex Vadnais
"Yeah! The party was alot of fun, met up with alot of people I haven't seen in a while and we played I Never." He remembered accidently revealing that Antony had been pregnant before. His stomache sunk and he slouched his shoulders a bit. "Alot of interestin' stuff happened." He forced a laugh as though some funny secrets came out, but really not a whole lot happened. Rex was still kicking himself for revealing his real first name, it should just be something he could be proud of, but he hated the connotation, no matter how Christian he actually was. "So neither of yeh went, huh?" One of the most exciting things to happen since his arrival at the island and these other two were locked up in their duplexes or something or the sort. Rex wished that everyone could've been there to have fun.

Then Amaya commented on his clothing, "Yeah! I just got them the other day. I finally just broke down and called the labs, my other ones were getting a bit gnarled anyway." He shuffled the dirt a bit with his foot, "You guys both came with your own supply of clothes right? I guess thats just one of the pros of not falling off a ship..."

Alec Derring
Alec shook his head about the party, skimping on an explanation for the sake of not furthering the subject. No matter how fun Rex made it sound, he wouldn't duck down to regret not going. He basically nodded to everything that was said, keeping quiet for the most part. He glanced between the two as they continued to openly converse.

"A' not askin' f'shite from th'labs." He suddenly decided to add, muttering low as if his comments would go completly unnoticed. He had a bit of a personal grudge going on, refusing to contact the staff for anything in an attempt to be self-sufficient and independant of their 'influences'.

Amaya Vaughan
"I Never?" Amaya raised a brow, having no idea what the game was really about.

"That good then." She smiled at Rex, though frowned at remembering he had fallen off a cruise liner. How horrible... "Yeah, I brought everything I owned with me since I figured I would be living here from now on. Guess I lucked out with the lie they fed me." The reptile gave an awkward smile.

Though on Alec's mutter, she nodded in agreement. "I hear that. I'm too scared of asking them for anything... ever since I changed I just started altering my own clothes. I've heard that sometimes they purposly give you things you can't even wear to mess with you." Amaya commented, remembering what Joliette had told her a long time ago.

Rex Vadnais
"I Never," He explained, "is a drinking game where you say something that you haven't ever done, then if the other people have done that, they take a drink. It's interesting, you sure learn alot aboout everyone that might not have come out before." He hated to judge by looks, but Rex could bet that Alec didn't mind a drink, no matter how illegal. Though Amaya was a different story.

Rex let out a short sigh at the discussion of the labs. "I'm not so gung-ho about what the labs are doing, and I certainly don't support the forced experiementation on humans... but the fact that they have a inclination to listen to our requests, within reason, isn't so bad. I mean, eventually we'll all be little animals runnin' about and they won't have to deal with getting us clothes, anymore.." What would it be like to be completely animal? He'd had small tastes of the lion here and there, but otherwise the end was nowhere within sight. How animal would they become? Amaya was the most animalistic person he'd seen on the island so far, but could they reallly take all of the human out of them? Would he lose his memories of being human... his friends...

Julie...

Alec Derring
Alec slumped, beginning to slowly regret not going to the party. Although he'd most likely get very pissed off if it was ever insinuated that he was a 'poser', the teen couldn't deny that he enjoyed a good drinking party. It was one of the 'activities' he was familiar with.

After the detour of party-talk, the conversation returned right back to the subject of ther transformations, much to Alec's dismay. What else were they supposed to talk about, right? It's was a reality they were all familiar with. But dammit if he'd ever enjoy it, no matter who happened to bring it up. He cose not to comment against Rex, one part spinelessness and one part 'not giving a s**t'.

The punk teen remained quiet, inwardly cursing at how godamn bored he still was.

Amaya Vaughan
"Oh... I'm kinda glad I didn't go then." The iguana said, crossing her arms slightly as if it would hide her scaley skin. She always felt horribly awkward when everyone around her was drinking.

Though at what Rex said, her throat caught. Had... he been told something? "What?" Green eyes went wide as she looked up at him. "I thought they were only going to give us animalistic features! And... and..." She started to fidget, looking upset and scared.

Rex Vadnais
Rex knew oh too well that the most of the people on the island weren't as lax on the subject of the changes as he was, and he could accept that. Though it was often hard to find something else to talk about on the island. Or do, for that matter. They needed to have some fun, a little spice never hurt anyone! But where could they go...?

His train of thought was interupted by a slightly panicked Amaya. For a second, he locked up, fumbling over his words while trying to find the problem. Eventually he managed to form a full sentence, "What? Oh, no, I don't know jack squat. I was just thinking about... well... the future... Just how bad are these things going to get?" He stopped, realizing he'd strayed from the path of not talking about the transformations. He didn't want to make the people feel awkward. But if it's something right there, inevidable, then why not confront it instead of hiding?

He had to change back to a happier topic of discussion, What was I thinking about earlier...? Oh, finding something to do! "Do you guys want to go to the beach? I could do with a swim... would you want to- err.. can you swim, Amaya?" Rex thought that he remembered something abour marine iguanas, but he didn't have the slightest clue when it came of stuff about animals. He only knew bits and pieces, basic knowledge.

Alec Derring
Alec flinched as Amaya grew suddenly frantic and upset, clearly disturbed by Rex's hypothesizing of their futures. He stared at her for a moment, trying to deicded how to comfort the lizard-like girl or if he should at all. He was human, how the hell was he supposed to make her feel better? She was clearly suffering. If he was in her shoes he's probably try to knock his lights out for trying.

But still Rex continued with the subject, and although the teen didn't blame him in the least for doing so, the situation only proved to further irritate him. "Why's evereh'un so ninneh about th' fyoocheh? Fook th' fyoocheh!" He yelled in the middle of the conversation, much louder than he had intended. He paused for only a moment, trying to evade the eyes of Rex and Amaya. "AN' FOOK THIS ISLAN'!" He ended bitterly, ignoring Rex's invitation as he turned to stomp off in the direction of the duplexes.

He was sick of hearing about animals, transformations, sadistic torture and suffering. He was ******** 17! He was supposed to be raiding malls and hurling eggs at the local school, not slumping around a paradise prison being poked and prodded and watched 24/7. The punkster had finally snapped under the pressure.

Amaya Vaughan
"Oh..." Amaya's breath caught in her throat as she let out a relieved sigh. Now that she thought about it... haden't Ambrose told her they each got four injections? Looking down, she counted on her fingers.

One when she arrived. One when she changed the first time. One when she changed the second time. And one when she changed this time... Was... she done? Was this as bad as it was going to get?

The girl swallowed a large lump in her throat, both overjoyed and saddened at the same time. No more pain, but now she had to live her life looking like some freak stuck halfway inbetween a green iguana and a human. She bit her lip, suddenly feeling like she was going to spit up the apple she had eaten previously.

Though before Amaya could even say anything or for Rex's invitation to fully register, Alec started off on a tangent. She jumped slightly, tail giving a nervous twitch behind her as she watched him then storm off. Swallowing, green eyes went down to her large, almost hand-like feet.

The poor guy was her age, she knew what he was going through... maybe... she could comfort him in some way. And he did seem a lot more quiet when Rex was around. "I'm gonna go see if I can help him... okay?" She finally said to the lion, looking up at him.

Giving him a quick hug the lizard looked up at him and took a few steps back before spinning around, tail flinging behind her as she ran after Alec. "Hey! Wait up!"

Stress Relief in the Entertainment Room

Alec Derring
Alec burst into the entertainment room in a huff, stomping his muddy boots across the floor befre flinging himself onto a sofa near the tv. The punk teen had a furious frown plastered on his face as he let his face contort against the sofa cushion he was sprawled out ontop. He didn't care that he was being followed, nor did he care to respond although he knew it was Amaya. He was in a sulking mood, a culmination of the stresses building up in his system. Antony had said he could always let out his tension with her but he realized he had never had a chance to. Everything led to sex with that one. He hadn't had an outlet for his emotion ever since he arrived on the island, save for his drumkit which he admittedly had been usuaing the most out of all other therapeutic options.

Letting out an aggitated sigh, he let his arm slide off and hang loosely over the edge.

Amaya Vaughan
Amaya slowed down at the door of the entertainment room, frowning and peeking around the doorway. She looked around outside and then stepped in, closing the door behind her. The last thing Alec needed was someone else running in on him in such a mood.

Walking over to him, the iguana canted her head to the side slightly. Green eyes still watched his sprawled form, though she didn't say anything. It took her awhile to even think of something she could say.

"... Do you need another hug?"

Alec Derring
Alec didn't move a muscle, not even bothering to roll his head to the side to answer clearly seeing as his face was still smushed into the couch. "Mno." He answered childishly, muffled by the cushion. Even though he felt like locking himself up in his room like a kid throwing a tantrum, he was aware of who he was talking to. He stared at the floor for a moment before rolling onto his back, facing Amaya though he slung his arm over his face. "Muh." He sighed, making sure she understood he wasn't angry with anyone.

Amaya Vaughan
Amaya's tail slid behind her from side to side, the sound of it rubbing just the tip of the carpet being the only sound from her for awhile.

She knew he was more upset then angry, so she settled for sitting on the arm of the sofa. He deserved to flop all over the couch. Finally though, she broke her own silence.

"... I... know how you feel."

Alec Derring
He wanted to counter with the obligatory "NO YOU DON'T!' but even the dim teen knew that wasn't true. She must have gone through all this plenty of times in the past, along with many other islanders present but it didn't make him feel any better at the moment. He remained silent, choosing not to comment on her admitting statement so soon. It wasn't like he wanted to talk about it or anything. He wasn't one of those happy-talk-open sort of guys.

"'Am so godamn bored." He eventually grunted. "'Ow d'ye keep sane 'ere? Eveh'uns so sad, i' drives a man crazeh."

Amaya Vaughan
The change of subject caught her a little off guard, but if Alec didn't want to talk about it she wasn't about to press. The girl raised a brow, propping her leg onto the arm of the chair and hugging it. Her long toes curling around the end on reflex.

"I used to sew a lot, though I can't very well anymore... I still like to try though." Amaya flexed her hands and looked at them before hugging her leg again, the other drapping lazily off the arm of the sofa. "It does get pretty boring, though. Videogames, movies, books... uh... walks?" She was seriously trying to think of something else.

Though it was less insane when you were the one sad... but the lizard wasn't about to bring that up. When you were more concerned of your own misery, time seemed to slide by doing nothing but crying.

"It does get very boring here. A lot of people have picked up extra hobbies. I know someone who gardens a lot. Ambrose fences and I sew... uhm... ********, I'm not helping." She sighed, slumping.

Alec Derring
Alec patiently listened to Amaya's responses, having not really expected as much of a straight answer as she had provided. He didn't have any hobbies except for drumming and drumming had always been his life, like breathing and eating. It didn't provided an outlet and some good ol' fun though.

Suddenly a wide grin began to spread across his face, masked partially by his arm that was still covering his face until he made an effort to move it. "You said fook." He then started to laugh.

Amaya Vaughan
And then he started laughing.

Amaya raised a brow and stared at him, then started laughing too. "Yeah, guess you've never heard me curse before." She smirked, then blinked as something occured to her.

"... Hey, y'know when me and Hargun would always hang out we would try and find the cameras, then make faces at them." Her smirk broadened.

Alec Derring
"Tha righ'?" Alec smirked, his past upset seeming to slip from his mind entirely. This new idea of course caused the teen to sit up on the couch and immediately begin searching for the cameras that were inevitably set up across the room they were in. He silently wondered if people actually CARED to watch every second of their lives.

"Where aw' they?" He grinned wider, starting to snicker as he propped himself up onto his knees and draped his top half over the back of the sofa.

Amaya Vaughan
"I'm not sure, they hide them pretty well." The teen got up and looked around. "They might be in the TV, or in some of the corners of the rooms... Maybe in the bookshelf?" She leaned over, staring at the blank TV screen.

Alec Derring
Alec glanced behind him at the tv, narrowing his eyes like he had the capacity to actually plot against. Sure enough, the irish boy slid off the furniture peice and slunk over to the tv that had previously had a wonderful view of his plaid posterior until he had moved. "Uh..." Like a caption right out of Indianna Jones, he reached back and snagged the wires connecting the tv to the wall, yanking them out as he'd done before. "HA!"

Looking mighty proud of himself when he glanced at Amaya, he sprinted over and leaped up onto the sofa cushions to stare at all the corners of the rooms one by one.

Amaya Vaughan
Amaya just watched him, her brow still high on her head.

... Ah, what the hell.

She stood up straight and looked around. "I dunno if we'll be able to find them, but we could always take a good guess."

Alec Derring
Alec nodded and looked around while still on his perch on the cushions. He couldn't see any no matter where he looked. "They'd must be hidin n' lookin lack otheh thingehs..." He snorted and stared in silence, swinging his arms from side to side as he lazily scanned the room. "Come oooooout" He called out, beginning to bounce on the sofa like a disobedient child would on their parent's bed.

The teen whistled absent-mindedly before giving up and choosing a random corner of the room easier seen from his vantage point. "Oveh theh'?" He flopped his arm in the chosen direction and waited for somesort of confirmation. "A' bet i' is."

Amaya Vaughan
"Could be, sure." The reptile said, walking over to him. "You'd think the cameras would be in the corners, yeah. Since that seemed like the best vantage point for them."

Alec Derring
Alec continued to stare at that one particular corner he'd found, hopping away on the sofa. "Aaaaay bastehds! Aaaaay!" He started to laugh again, waving first to the supposed 'camera'

"Ye motheh's a sorreh sow from Wales!!!" The teen stuck out his tongue, excentuating the gesture by pulling down the edges of his mouth into an elongated frown. He couldn't care less what insults he was manufacturing, it was fun. He used to do this sort of shindig whenever a camera was in sight back home.

Amaya Vaughan
A sorry sow from Wales? Now there was an insult. Amaya smirked as she watched him. "I've been meaning to ask you, where are you from exactly?" His accent was familiar, though she didn't think it was safe to assume solely by that.

Alec Derring
"Belfast!" Alec breathed during a pause from his incessant bouncing, which had escalated enough to amuse him for the moment. "Northeh'n Ireland!" He made sure to add, assuming Amaya wouldn't know where Belfast was with such little information provided. "Ye?" It had become common practice to deflect a question like that right back to the asker, though he didn't know why. He wasn't that good with remembering details and most of the time he didn't care.

"A' should give 'em a shot o' me bum." He snorted but soon hopped (almost tripped) off the couch to look for something else to do.

Amaya Vaughan
Oooo, Ireland. That sounded like an interesting place to live. A lot more interesting then from where the iguana came from. "Pennsylvania." She then added. "It's in the United States, to the Northeast."

Then a brow raised at the bum comment. Omg that would be hillarious. She snickered.

Alec Derring
Soon the punk teen was wandering past the bookshelves that lined the room, scanning the titles on the bindings for interesting words with little interest. "Tha' righ'?" He responded blandly, thumbing each volume as he passed it by. "Ye don' seem Yankish t'me. More like... a' d'neh. Swedish." This of course, was based on an opinion divised from little fact or knowledge of geography or other cultures, not that he cared.

Finally Alec paused and turned to slump his back against the end of the long bookshelf, folding his arms in defeat at finding nothing else to do to occupy his time.

Amaya Vaughan
"Swedish?" Amaya raised a brow, having thought her accent would be one of the worst on the island. "Nope, I'm a yankee." She smirked, though was starting to feel the tempature outside decline... of course, the air conditioning in the room didn't help at all. Damnit.

"So are you feeling better?" The girl walked over to him. She'd try and ignore the sluggish feeling for now.

Alec Derring
Alec paused for a moment, letting the question linger for a second before nodding a response. "Ye actually." He continued to nod as if he needed to convince both Amaya and himself. "Ye, I do." The teen grinned, realizing he was much calmer than when he had entered the room. "Thanks." He would've ellaborated more on how grateful he was for her concern, though he just wasn't that kind of guy.

"A' should get back. Need t'bang some drooms." He snickered playfully, flexing his fingers. "See ye around aye? Stay hot!" He nudged her shoulder and turned to leave for his duplex.

Amaya Vaughan
"That's good. I should head back too." Amaya watched as he left, waving her long fingers. "I'll see ya around!"

She tried not to flinch at the 'stay hot' comment... and was thankful she couldn't blush anymore.

Island of Moreau

The storm came in swifty- what was only a few threatening thunder clouds on Saturday morning turned into a full-scale tropical storm by that evening. The winds are dangerous and strong, sending foliage debris and water everywhere. Its not impossible to walk in, but its difficult.

Saturday evening, something you've never seen happen happens. The power goes off. With the sinking whine of electricity failing suddenly everything goes to black. But before the islanders can get too excited, there's a loud thumping that can be heard between the claps of thunder, and the power comes back on about four minutes later. Only half the lights in your duplex would turn on, your water won't get above luke warm... but there is definitely power.

The whole island seems to be either low on power or saving its electricity. The rec room and entertainment room are shut down, but the cafeteria is fully functional under the dim lighting. It isn't until later Saturday night, around midnight, that anything major changes. The storm picks up and gets even worse. The island is swept up in gigantic lightning storm, and after a loud crash, and a huge flash of light the power go off again. This time, isn't doesn't come back immediately.

Early Sunday morning, right at dawn, the rains have settled down as the storm begins to pass. The power comes back on with a triumphant hum of electricity, bathing the village in its normal light, waking you. By the time you seem to realize what's happened though, you begin to feel a tingling in the back of your neck. It almost tickles - running down your spine and giving your chill bumps. It continues for about a minute - then it hits you. A sudden, painful ZOT of electricity that causes all your muscles to spasm violently for a few seconds...then everything fades to black.....

Rough Night

Alec flinched awake, sharp hiss escaping his clenched jaw as a spasm ran down his spinal column. Remnants of pain still clung to his nervous system as he sat up in a daze, taking a moment to wait until he could see straight before unsteadily crawling to his feet.

"Wha th'fook..." He groaned quietly, the silence in his duplex only proving to unsettle him further. What the hell had happened?

The teen could hardly think straight, unable to determine if he was hungry or tired or just plain drained, the thresholds of feeling numb from the shock. Having never experienced the sensation before, he was beginning to feel a little panicked.

Without thinking, he grabbed his cigarettes and a lighter and stuffed them into his pockets before weakly stumbling out of his duplex without so much as a jacket or any other useful supplies. Stepping out into the jungle, he soon came to realize that something was off. It was so quiet. With one lazy step infront of the other, he began wandering to the nearest duplex to him. Maybe The Prude knew what was going on.

Checking In

Alec Derring
Alec stomped his clunky boots up to Nita's door, grimacing as the thick humidity clung to every fragment of clothing and inch of skin. It was particular bad after a rain and he bet that storm must have been some rain. Palms were strewn across the ground below to create a layer of decaying matter though the sky was beginning to show no sign of any disturbance whatsoever.

Reaching the door, the punk teen wasted no time as he abruptly began banging on the metal barrier obnoxiously. "'ALLO!" He yelled out, slumping against one side of the doorframe as he waited for the inevitable response. She had to be home. She didn't do anything besides sit and read dictionaries all day anyways.

Nita MacNeal
Nita, in fact, had been cleaning her bathroom when the sound of an all-too-familiar voice came through the door. "Just a minute!" she yelled back. She brushed her hair out of her face and pulled herself up.

"Hey Alec," she muttered, peering through the partially-opened door. Nita eyed his footwear and sighed. Maybe he'd get the point and leave them outside.

Alec Derring
Alec nodded a greeting, eyes darting down to his muddy boots though by the looks of it he didn't get the gist of her body language. "Aye, wutcha busyin yeself wi'?" He asked the question out of fragments of politeness, not really that concerned with the response.

The boy stared for a moment in silence. Why the hell was she making him stand outside still? "Can a' come in?" He smirked a little.

Nita MacNeal
"I was cleaning the bathroom," she replied. No? He wasn't going to get the unspoken request? Nita suppressed the desire to roll her eyes. "Yeah, sure, come on in." Nita opened the door the rest of the way.

"That was one hell of a storm, yeah?" She sat carefully on the edge of her bed (obviously newly made-up), vaguely gesturing at the chair across the room.

Alec Derring
He looked pleased with himself when he was allowed inside, successful in trailing in enough mud with him into the entryway before noticing he was making a mess. Cleaning. Exciting. Just what he expected. "A' slept through most of i'." He absent-mindedly answered as he kicked off one boot at a time. "'appens a lot a' guess."

Noticing the gesture, he moved to flop down into the chair opposite of her. "'s so damn quiet now though." He commented with little focus to the conversation until a stray hand rubbed the back of his neck, a tinge of pain reminding him of his previous state. "An' me fooken 'ead 'urts like a b***h."

Nita MacNeal
Nita winced at the mud from Alec's boots. Ah well, she'd get rid of it when she finished with the bathroom. "You're lucky. There was a lot of thunder, and the power went out."

She nodded sympathetically. Her head didn't hurt, but she still felt weird. Tingly. "I've got ibuprofen, if you want some..." she offered.

Alec Derring
He wasn't sure what she was talking about, but he refused to admit it for even a moment. "Ye sure, thanks." He nodded and leaned back in the chair, letting his arms hang down over the sides. "Poweh out?" He furrowed his brow at the thought, having not realized that the island's electronics were even susceptible to such a seemingly common issue.

Alec let the thought rest for a moment before a question sprung into his mind, fueled by curiousity. "'ave ye talked t'anyone else?"

Nita MacNeal
Nita stared at Alec for a moment before going to the bathroom to retrieve the pain-relievers. Had he seriously slept for the better part of three days? "Here," she said, dropping a couple of pills into his hand. "There's soda in the fridge."

She sat down again and watched him carefully. 'Yeah, the power went out, and then it came back, but only some. Like it was on a generator or something." Nita shrugged. Other than that, she had no idea what had happened. "No, I haven't been out yet."

Alec Derring
Helping himself to a drink, he popped the medication and downed it with the soda with ease though he grimaced again as he did so. Whatever hit him, hit him hard like nothing he'd ever felt before. He listened to what Nita knew about the situation, peering at her from behind his pop can as he sipped at it once and awhile. He thought for a moment before adding to the conversation again. "Mehbeh I'll take a walk o' somethin. See where's evereh-un." He didn't directly insinuate that she was welcome to come, but he wouldn't reject the company even though it was her.

Nita MacNeal
Nita nodded. "I may do that in a bit. The past few days have been... weird." She shrugged. "Besides, I really do need to finish cleaning." And mop up the mess you made, she thought, but tactfully didn't say. "Let me know if you find anything out?"

Alec Derring
Alec slugged down the rest of his soda and nodded with a full mouth, leaving the empty can on any available flat surface nearby. "Don' 'ave too much fun without me." He mumbled and snickered as he shoved his feet into his muck-covered boots once again. Pausing by the doorway, he gave a short wave.

"You're a wild wom'n Girleh! Crazeh!" He yelled back to the red-head, if not for the wide grin on his face, it could've been taken as being serious. Shaking his head, he shut the door behind and adopted a lazy stride into the jungle.

Nita MacNeal
Nita snorted and flipped Alec off in a playful manner. "Don't worry, I won't!" she called after him.

With Alec gone, Nita settled back into the serious business of cleaning the bathroom and the mess Alec had made just by taking a few steps into her duplex.
