He laughed. "Me? Family? Doubtful. I may still have children running about but I wouldn't know them anyway." He shrugged.

"Well, you hae to at least have a mom and a dad right?" Neko asked, looking at him. "I mean, I do. My parents never mentioned grandparents if we had them, but they are very old. It' possible my grandparents died before my parents met each other."

"I never knew my parents, only that my father was very evil. Impossible to become good at all. For all I know he's watching me now, or he's dead. I have no idea about a mother. The only thing close to family I have would be you."

"Aw, that's sweet." Neko said, purring. She rarely did that in ehr human form, only when she was really happy, since humans didn't purr. "It must be sad, to not know your family. But you can awlays count on me."

He laughed a bit at her purr. "What a lovely sound. And I'm glad I have you here with me." He smiled and kissed her.

She purred louder as he kissed her, happy that she had made him happy. When she really boiled it down, she liked making people happy, seeing people smile. It was the resaon she hated to fight, hated to hurt people.

He broke the kiss momentarily to smile at her purr, then kissed her again, a little deeper. He could never have imagined doing this, nor being this happy.

Shadow stood at the entrance to the bar, looking the doors up and down. The Demonic Ties. This was certainly the place. He just hoped she was already inside. He didn't really feel like waiting for too long.
"First the top of a bridge, now an ababdoned bar." he mumbled to himself. "What next, the statue of Liberty?" With that, he opened the doors and walked inside.

'Strange.' Shadow thought to himself as he walked in and sat down on one of the stools, finding no one there. 'I could have sworn I heard voices. Oh well'
Of course, she wasn't here yet. It was typical of her, making him wait. Lucky for the both of them, he was a very patient demon.

Neko ran out to greet the people, flustered and a bit upset that her little moment with ASmodai was smashed to bits....
"Greetings, fellow demons!" Neko said cheerfully. "Welcome to teh Demonic Ties! What can I get for you to drink?"
