Theme: [pink moon] creeping Phlox
Time spent: 42m
Comments: Learned that a pink moon is an April moon when specific pink flowers like creeping phlox are in bloom. Had minecraft on the mind and was thinking of what a creeping phlox block would look like.

Comments: Tried the more transparent basic Krita brush as an outline. I like how the colors bleed through easier (and then I don't have to recolor the lineart) and it gives it a softer look

Comments: I couldn't figure out how to give the planets cast shadows without it looking weird so I just left them hazy. Had a lot of fun with this using texture spot brushes for stars (and the Krita big star point texture)

Comments: I have ALWAYS been disappointed with the spirit pass art I make as place holders every year. I wanted to make something that looks clean, distinguishable, and something to be re-used year after year. So as a commitment to next year I made us a coin. I hope to see everyone again next year!!
