Kaida quickly went over to the thorny plant again and cut more of the plant off placing some of it against kin's dog's body so that he too would regain feeling. She then took out a vial, of which she kept many, and carefully filled it with the contents of the thorns. "This could come in handy some day..." She smirked and did the same with the other two plants that had reversed the effects of poisons. It wouldn't be long before the others were back on their feet but she waited for them making some use of her time. She didn't want to let them be alone out here... she after all was not heartless and she was beginning to value more and more the teamwork that was keeping them together...

Edge slowly woke up and looked around at his surroundings. "I'm guessing it was another trap then. Thanks Kaida. I assume it was you that saved us as Kinoru would have his senses going haywire with all these flowers.

Kinoru slowly got to his feet, though he was a little shaky "Of course it was her, neather of us could move.Thanks Kaida" Kinoru was slitly embarased to have to thank someone other than Kao since it had always been just them.

*the scent of the flowers suddenly all died down, and fresh air blew into the area...along with Shunketsu's scent, if the duo cared to sniff again...it came from a path ahead...*

Kaida blushed slightly for few ever thanked her for things. "No problem... let's just get moving. Kinoru do you think that Kao could try again to sniff out sensei?"

"Probably" Kinoru and Kao started to sniff the air, Kinoru pointed down the path "This way" Kinoru and Kao began to walk down the path sniffing and keeping their ears open "Hurry up"

Kaida walked at her own pace keeping close to the group, but not being right up with Kinoru and Kao. "Edge... don't fall behind.."

*As the group walked, another tree featured the 5 circles, the 1st two showed the usual X and check, but now, the 3rd also featured a check, although the check seemed to be incomplete in some respects...*
*up ahead was a decently large clearing where the light shined brightly...it must have been around lunch time about now...but other than that, nothing seemed very special about it...a squirrel was nibbling on something in the middle of the clearing...*

Edge was still a bit tired from the chakra draining side effects but he made sure to keep up with the other team members. This was going to be a long and painful test.

Kinoru and Kao stopped in the clearing "Guy's keep your guards up." Kao started to sniff around, while kinoru listened closely.

Kaida stayed silent listening carefully for signs of danger... After a while she spotted the marking. "We passed that last test... but... barely.. we have to do better." She glanced over. "Edge... are you going to be alright?"

*As they entered the clearing, the squirrel revealed what it was nibbling on...it was a thin wire...*
*the wire snapped, and within seconds, masses of fully-active, unrestrained puppets jumped down from the branches of the trees surrounding the clearing, thus enclosing them...*
*the meer amount would prove difficult...and if haphazard taijutsu were to be the main weapon against the puppets, then they would become very tired, very fast...*

*As the duo charged forth and destroyed some puppets, two more puppets seemed to arrive for each one he destroyed...at this rate, his chakra would run out way before the puppets would be destroyed...*
