Roode was placed in the crossface chickenwing and taken down to the canvas! He reaches around with seemingly no where to go!

There it was the center of the ring, Trents redemption. He lost last time to a submission and it looked like for sure with where he was he gained his redemption! The crowd grew louder and louder as Trent continued to apply more and more pressure to his opponents neck and shoulder cradle

Roode was shown to be in clear and obvious pain as he reaches around trying to think of a way to get out of this.

Trent said yelling in the face of the champion. Trying to add an emotional attack on top of the already staggering move that his opponent was locked in. Surely, the end was near!

Roode would shift his body around with his feet, and attempts to bridge his body on top of Trents into a pinfall attempt while still in the submission!

There was a bit of looseness as Roode struggled, leaving enough room for him to push Trent on both shoulders, once he noticed Trent would force himself up, giving even more room for the champ

Roode uses Trents momentum of kicking out against him and slips out of the submission, and rolls underneath the nearest bottom rope, breathing heavy..

Trent would sit up after losing Roode from his slight error. He would slap the mat in frustration as he had it right in his hands

Trent would get back to his feet. Obviously angry, but it made himself more confident because he is seeing the cracks of a person who was said to be unbeatable. Trent would then begin to approach the downed champion

Trent looked to grab Roode's head and pull him through the center ropes. Letting his feet rest on the ropes.

When Trent approached Roode, Roode attempts to stand up and hit Trent with a hot shot, to get separation and stun his opponent in the process!

Trent would not expect Roode to be so lively as he had his throat make a rough connection with the rope, causing him to stumble back and fall to a knee. Holding his throat.
