I’ve been trying to play with lost edges. Easier to do with actual paint and not my digital brush. I’ve seen that it’s possible digitally. I’ll have to see which art programs they’re using and look up some digital tutorials

I used the bg color on the otter, but then it looked like there was holes in the otter XD so that got scrapped

Draw yourself as an Aristocat


Drawing myself would’ve been too plain, so I switched it to drawing a meme cat (keyboard cat) in the style of Aristocats. I loved that movie. To draw this, I watched a couple clips and looked at screenshots. I’d never paid attention to the lack of shading and how little fur detail there is. A lot of the fluff is on the chest, but this cat’s shirt covers that area. So it still is pretty plain but XD oh well. I also see spots that need fixing, but hey, a lot of these pieces are like that

.. as for myself, pretty happy with the outcome. I made a lot of art that I liked. Well, I like more pieces than I hate sooo that’s a win. We’ll see how I feel when I look back after a month or so.
I’m glad I wasn’t as literal with the prompts this year. I either practiced or I drew an idea that I had interest in... so I wasn’t left with as many drawings of random s**t this year. Sure, I still had some of those days XD but I expected that.
