▱▰▱Asahi's punches were connecting with the umbrella before slamming into his sister's face. When she went flying away his fist was covered in her blood. Yet, Asahi in his hypnotized state was still unsatisfied. He ran toward Amaya to finish the job that he could not resist. Satoshi was almost entirely certain that Amaya would be the one to die. However, as with many developments during this tournament, the unexpected was happening. Asahi dropped to his knees after being ruthlessly beaten by the umbrella and unable to fight back. When the tongue wrapped around his throat he began crying and whimpering. Amaya would see the life being slowly drained from her brother's eyes as he reached his hand toward her. It was as if he was begging for her to just get the yokai to stop hurting him. Amaya would then hear his screaming as he was being devoured by the monster. "AGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGH!" Asahi's screams were guttural and terrifying as they filled the arena. Even Satoshi was beginning to wonder if allowing her to have her umbrella yokai with her was cheating. Nonetheless, he was left with having to accept her as the victor. The Amekage sent TORO agents to take the brutally chewed up and spit out corpse.
▱▰▱Gea would see her opponent, Sako Kazuhiko, another one of the many denizens of the Earth Sector. Once he entered the battlefield, she would see him covering his face. Perhaps it would seem like he was crying but instead, he revealed his face as a disgusting and mangled visage. If that was not enough to sufficiently terrify her, then he would perform another illusion which formed a ghost over his body. He made attempts to intimidate her with his genjutsu skills. He also retrieved an umbrella sword from his back to prepare himself. These were all tactics commonly deployed by KASA, a frightening organization that Gea was all too familiar with.

▱▰▱Lica would see a much larger girl from the Earth Sector enter the arena, Taira Misaki. Satoshi nodded in acknowledgment of her bow. He recognized that her father was in the audience, completely unhypnotized. The majority of the attending families were completely hypnotized by the Illusion Grid. However, the Sky Sector families were a stark exception. Satoshi looked to where her father was sitting and nodded to him in acknowledgment as well. It was an understanding that no harm would come to his daughter at all. Lica's family was far too powerful to even risk harm coming to their daughter. From the moment that Taira entered the ring, Satoshi would gesture to the KASA guards. Taira barely got to look at Angelica before the KASA agents were on her. They retrieved their steel umbrellas and used them as batons to ruthlessly bear her. The crowd screamed in excitement at the carnage. She did not even have a chance at survival as Angelica would watch the life being ruthlessly beaten out of her. All that remained was her was a brutalized corpse before she was carried off. The blunt force trauma to her skull was particularly gruesome.

When a player makes physical contact with another it makes the other player "found" and raises their tier of mental stress by one. In the fog's denseness, there are passing phantoms of monstrous yokai. While in the fog, players can create [1] X-Ranked monster per post of their own imagination using their own chakra. The created monster can use basic combat attacks against another player's monster. When a player's monster dies a tiered amount of insanity based on the chakra rank of the monster inflicts the creator. If a monster harms a player's body they believe the injuries are real.

These oni are born with gray skin that turns violet from the amount of Yorujozo they consume. Regular consumption of Yorujozo can turn the lips violet while constant intake dyes the body's skin. Yorujozo is highly toxic and hallucinogenic. The Shadowfoot oni consider the liquid sacred because consumption of it gives them otherworldly visions which aid in deciphering prophecies, a central aspect of the tribe's culture. The brew is highly sedative as well and helps the consumer sleep while also delivering the typical effects of alcohol. The brew is made from the inky purple leaves of the black forest's trees. Newborn Shadowfoot oni are fed a single leaf to allow them to consume Yorujozo without harm. Those who ingest this rare leaf become immune to Yorujozo's toxicity while retaining the psychedelic and alcoholic effects. Yorujozo is a viscous liquid of violet coloring that flows like honey and creates illusory fumes. It tastes as foul as ink when it hits the tongue but has a sweet and pleasant taste when swallowed. It can easily be made into gas and applied to miasma techniques. Yorujozo when it poisons a target is highly sedative and reduces speed greatly. Personal Attributes ▱▰▱ Crow Eye | When a young Satoshi looked through the lens of fate to see his prophecy, his right eye was taken as a price. This eye has been nicknamed his "crow eye" because it was cursed by the crow king Yatagarasu in exchange for the prophecy. This crow eye is connected to the eyes of Yogen, the personal summon of Satoshi who has been fate bound to his summoner. Satoshi's crow eye and Yogen's eyes will often glow in unison. The crow eye's appearance is a ghastly violet that glows when it is not covered by an eyepatch. When the sharingan is used through the crow eye it appears to have blackened sclera and glowing purple tomoe and pupils. When the crow eye is in use it causes throbbing headache pain and is more susceptible to blindness. Mangekyo skills used through the crow eye are reduced by [1] use before the blindness status is inflicted. For example, if a technique can be used twice before blindness happens then in the crow eye it could only be used once meaning that the eye goes blind faster. However, the cursed crow eye is maddening when gazed upon as when a genjutsu is cast through it the eye glares with extremely bright violet light and inflicts insanity equal to the rank of the technique. ▱▰▱ Demonic Shroud | When an E-Rank amount of chakra is applied to Satoshi's natural chakra materialization it becomes even more realistic and haunting. Viewing the fog acts as the trigger for genjutsu and counts as eye contact for sharingan genjutsu/hypnosis if his sharingan is active. Alternatively, if no genjutsu is cast then viewing the shroud merely causes first-tier mental stress or insanity. In addition, the user's first physical offensive activation every three posts gains a [1] point increase to speed per rank of their body, also requiring the eyes to be active. ▱▰▱ Mirror Master | Satoshi is able to add an additional sense to the illusory images created by the Mirror Image Art taijutsu style and custom techniques based upon it for a maximum of [2] senses. The images are sight-based and thus always have that sense but [2] additional senses like touch and sound can be added. ▱▰▱ Lore of the Crows | As a crow sage, Satoshi is able to read the ancient written crow language in the crow contract scroll and learn the secrets of their genjutsu. As a result, in combat, non-instance genjutsu cast by Satoshi in combat last for one post longer for no upkeep cost for each actively summoned crow on the battlefield (maximum of 5) as long as he is the contract holder. ▱▰▱ Fanning Flames | The user's fire based techniques may be doubled in size for no additional cost. This does not effect the strength of the user's fire based techniques. In addition, should the user's fire ninjutsu or clan techniques interact with another fire based technique, the user's technique steals one rank of chakra from the opposing technique. If this overpowers the opponents technique, this technique continues on it's path normally. ▱▰▱ Touch of the Boundless | The Uzumaki can create any and all seals, and therefore cast any sealing technique - no matter how intricate or complex - upon a single touch of their palm without handseals. This alternative method for Fuuin must still adhere to the alternative jutsu casting clause as chakra must still be gathered to accomplish a technique as a seal isn't instantly created. In addition, with one-touch and one action, the Uzumaki is able to summon up to three creatures from a contract for only the chakra cost of the highest-ranked creature summoned. ▱▰▱ Holy Conversion | For every RPC converted to the archpriest's religion they gain an endgame reward of their choice. The endgame reward can only be up to 2,000 XP in value. This PA is only obtained by archpriests and is automatically obtained once that title is granted. ▱▰▱ Plunder of the Vagabond | As a globally feared villain, you will forever be able to obtain Endgame perks with only three-quarters of the experience required.
Angelica's fight had only served to bore the scientist of the Rain Village. Achana had been hoping to see the result of such breeding among humans and yokai in action. To see a demonstration of the unique and exotic was any researcher's fantasy, and to be able to study and understand it was as close to carnal bliss as the actual act. "Such a waste... But, this is what privilege's our birthright afford us. Still, at least they let me break the mind of my opponent before crushing them.", she sighed audibly. It was a real bummer to be sure. There was more drama to be had though as her attention turned elsewhere.
Achana grinned wide behind her mask as it was clear then who had been worthy of her technological advances. 'Somebody who sacrificed something without expecting anything in return...', she remembered in a moment of clarity before snapping her fingers. This was destiny, and so she fight it, but one could not deny it. Instead, she accepted it full on as the teachings of the crow had imparted on her. She then sliced her finger against another fingernail, and then slammed it to the ground. -Summoning Jutsu: Crow : Akumu- With the technique produced, a singular crow landed on her shoulder, while a small number took roost in the sleeves of her coat.
It was the first time she had used the blessings of Yatagarasu's teachings since adopting them, and even then with such a basic summoning, Akumu was a useful ally. He afforded her some skills in genjutsu and had quite the perplexing mobility technique that she had become rather fond of. She dispersed into a murder of crows, becoming nothing but a black flapping mass that reformed next to the poor Amaya who had suffered the horrifying loss of her brother. The scientist took a moment to take in the feel of the arena. She had enjoyed her status and a private ceremony of sorts, but no, the pain and agony the girl and her yokai pet were faced with were genuine. It was even to the point of perplexing as Achana stared down at Amaya with her piercing red eyes of the Sakakugan, and while the girl knew she was to reward the trainee, at the same time she felt like she might strike her. 'Such innocence. It is suffocating us, even through the respirator. Honestly, we should kill her.', the voice of wrath in her mind whispered. However, Achana simply ignored the calls to violence. Somebody would stop her anyway. So, instead, she extended her arms out to Amaya as if to offer a hug. Then the small number of crows in her coat sleeves would emerge with the RAIN Mask MK1, and a couple of batteries in a display of offering them to the smaller girl. "Take it. You deserve it. If there is one thing you learn from this day, remember... You deserve it, so take it. Whatever 'it' may be. This cruel world owes you, and it is up to you to make it pay up in full.", Achana said simply. The words would be almost cold and uncaring, but it was laced with a hint of sympathy, and possibly a form of understanding.
Then, as soon as Achana had arrived, the form would dissipate back into the small murder of crows which reformed back in the stands into the scientist who withdrew a small amount of seed from a pocket and offered it to the various avian creatures who were taking residence on her form for the moment. Akumu was treated first, of course, as he was the reason for the others. This also served a unique purpose, as Achana then used her Sakakugan to detach from her body, in a sense. While remaining stationary, she seemed to stare off into the ether before her. Though her doujutsu allowed her to get a unique perspective of the various arenas. The last match of the ceremony had begun, and so the Kurama clanswoman watched with the best seats in the house, so to speak. Right up close and inside the area with all of the action, all from the power of her eyes.

Spotless, with nary a mark of the fight upon her, be it her pristine clothes or the delicate calm she maintained facade of control, yet in her chest, her heart beat loudly. The thrum of blood throbbed in her ears as she faced the carnage before her. Her trembling hand tightened around the umbrella to still their shameful tremors. Her pale face grew paler as the easy death she had expected for her opponent, the elegant demonstration of the power of her family, turned much more gruesome than expected.
The screams of pain and agony from the surprised girl. A bloody hand freeing itself briefly to flail around in desperation, seeking for a miracle in the air brimming with naught but excitement of the masses. An unmasking. The fights prior could all be said to be worthy of the applause they received in some twisted way. This was but a silent beatdown, however. Nothing but a child crushed beneath the heels of adults, the audience raving mad over the violence enacted upon a youngling who had no means of defending themselves.
Lica must... Lica must... the young child in the suddenness of the moment lost everything she had prepared herself for. She wanted to look up to her father for guidance, but she knew well enough that would be a mistake. Proof of her weakness, and possibly grounds for stricter teaching methods.
Lica must... do nothing. There was nothing she could. Eyes dulling as the hand was snapped back, the crunch of an arm breaking, if all she could do was accept, then that was all Lica could do, right? This was the way the world was built. She should be happy for this gift her father presented to her. Yes... Yes, she was trembling from happiness, not shock.
The match was short, and when the girl was carried off, Lica smiled like a good girl should. She curtsied once more to the Amekage in farewell, and left the field as she had come. She only worried that her earlier faltering may have been apparent. It had been unbecoming of her to be so affected by an insect's death. Such was weakness, and while the eyes of the worms and bugs didn't matter, the sky had many eyes on this arena at present.
Gea's arms crossed for a moment at the boy across her when she noticed that he covered his face. Was he crying? "We don't cry." She said towards him but she was in for a surprise. She yelped and took a step back when he showed the ugly managed face. "That look is better on you than the one you were born with." She muttered. Not long after, a ghost seemingly appeared, and this anger the girl further for it brought forth a memory of what happened to her mother. 'This... can't be real.. can it?' Gea thought to herself, her brows furrowed while her fists clenched. Did it look like her mother? Maybe her father? Even if that was them, Gea was angry. Ghosts or not, she was ready to attack. Wait. That can't be right. Focused her chakra to herself, "Kai!" She scoffed at the boy, raiton spreading throughout her body as she attempted to be in front of him, one hand reached to grab the umbrella and the other arm swung as it was being transformed into tree branches in the attempt to pierce through the eye sockets, up in the nose and into the mouth. If successful, the branches would all aim for the brain. "If that's a face you wanted, I'll give it to you!" Gea was aiming to make this bloody as possible.

The charged step allows the user to move forward in a straight line. The user may move ten feet at E rank and an additional five per rank after that. This speedy action is able to be used both defensively and offensively, allowing the opponent to evade attacks while charging at their opponent. If the user does not make physical contact with the foe along this straight path, they gain a [1] point increase in speed their following post per rank of the technique. • Wood Release: Smothering Binding Technique [ Mokuton: Mokusatsu Shibari no Jutsu ] | Rank X [ E ] By transforming their arm into a tree, the user can then create multiple branches which will rapidly grow around the target, immobilizing and causing tiered paralysis.For each rank of this technique, the user's wooden bindings may expand ten feet. Breaking free from this technique requires the rank of this technique atop the grappled status. Each turn the target is bound they suffering 3 point of tenketsu rot per rank of the technique. Alternatively, this can be used from any source of wood in the area.
The girl was quiet as the two others spoke to her. She didn’t understand why Shigeko was getting defensive on behalf of the girl she’d killed. The Oni did kill her, after all. Poppy thought about Fujita. He was driven, sure. But not a trait that would make the Junsei go to bat for him by itself. Poppy blew and popped another bubble of gum while she thought and her attention was taken by Sute.
The zombie girl, who ripped out the heart of her opponent. Maybe she was right, that Poppy would have to take her more seriously from now on. Her display of power was a brutal one, even more so than the one Poppy put on. The black haired girl just silently stared at Sute with her bored, half lidded eyes. Then she took a step forward, removing one of her hands from her pockets. Once she was close enough to the Jiongu, Poppy placed her chakra embedded hand on the girl’s shoulder. In a matter of moments, the blood from the girl’s outfit evaporated into a light steam. [Cleanse E Rank] “The smell of blood isn’t very appetizing.” She said flatly. “And it takes more than a change of clothes to get rid of the stench.” Poppy took a step back and returned her hand to her pocket.
“Me?” Poppy finally addressed Shigeko’s question. “I’m not sure. I don’t have much interest in the other fights, but I don’t have anywhere to go either.” She continued with a shrug.

▱▰▱Sako was not expecting her to break through his genjutsu so quickly. She then disappeared and reappeared in front of him with a speed that he could hardly even comprehend. Suddenly, the lights were out as tree roots from her arms pierced through his eyes. He could not even muster the reflexes to protect himself using his umbrella. The child screamed as he felt the Senju's mokuton pierce through his skull. The roots escaped through the other side of his head as he brain began shutting down. He dropped to his knees and became lifelessly limp. He would only be released from his entanglement when the KASA and TORO agents appeared to collect his corpse and give Gea the win officially.
▱▰▱Once Sako died, the event was officially over. Satoshi would appear on massive monitors and images of him would appear through the machinations of the illusion grid. "You all have done well to amuse your god. I'm pleased by this event so all students who survived are eligible for graduation. Remember that your success is from the fruits of destiny. Never forget your place and serve me well." The Amekage would then disappear as the arena began to dematerialize as well. It was as if a nightmare was ending but only for the next one to commence.

It has been a long event but it is now over. Congratulations, you all successfully pulled off the only successful bloody mist type event that I have ever seen in my ten years of roleplaying Naruto. Using combat actions causes the hider to be revealed. Invisibility does not consume an action so players can weave in and out of invisibility with ease. When a player makes physical contact with another it makes the other player "found" and raises their tier of mental stress by one. The player that reaches the fourth tier of mental stress first loses the game and is affected by genjutsu at [1] sense higher for the rest of the battle. Act III. Because of the illusionary nature of the fog, it can be blasted away but will cover the area immediately and seems to constantly replace itself. In the fog's denseness, there are passing phantoms of monstrous yokai. While in the fog, players can create [1] X-Ranked monster per post of their own imagination using their own chakra. The created monster can use basic combat attacks against another player's monster. When a player's monster dies a tiered amount of insanity based on the chakra rank of the monster inflicts the creator. If a monster harms a player's body they believe the injuries are real.
Poison Specs ▰ Drug Name: Yorujozo (夜の醸造, Yoru no jōzō, Night Brew) ▰ Drug Type: Poison ▰ Drug Tier: Legendary | Tier 4 ▰ Drug Form: Liquid | Gas ▰ Narcotic Description: Yorujozo is a violet alcoholic brew created by the Shadowfoot Tribe of oni who live in the black forest (Kuro Shinrin) of the Land of Fire. These oni are born with gray skin that turns violet from the amount of Yorujozo they consume. Regular consumption of Yorujozo can turn the lips violet while constant intake dyes the body's skin. Yorujozo is highly toxic and hallucinogenic. The Shadowfoot oni consider the liquid sacred because consumption of it gives them otherworldly visions which aid in deciphering prophecies, a central aspect of the tribe's culture. The brew is highly sedative as well and helps the consumer sleep while also delivering the typical effects of alcohol. The brew is made from the inky purple leaves of the black forest's trees. Newborn Shadowfoot oni are fed a single leaf to allow them to consume Yorujozo without harm. Those who ingest this rare leaf become immune to Yorujozo's toxicity while retaining the psychedelic and alcoholic effects. Yorujozo is a viscous liquid of violet coloring that flows like honey and creates illusory fumes. It tastes as foul as ink when it hits the tongue but has a sweet and pleasant taste when swallowed. It can easily be made into gas and applied to miasma techniques. Yorujozo when it poisons a target is highly sedative and reduces speed greatly. It causes insanity and intense hallucinations psychologically. Physically the poison turns the skin violet and necrotic while causing the eyes to shake and is intensely disorienting. The rare black forest leaves that are used to brew this poison can be used as an acutely efficacious antidote.

Personal Attributes ▱▰▱ Crow Eye | When a young Satoshi looked through the lens of fate to see his prophecy, his right eye was taken as a price. This eye has been nicknamed his "crow eye" because it was cursed by the crow king Yatagarasu in exchange for the prophecy. This crow eye is connected to the eyes of Yogen, the personal summon of Satoshi who has been fate bound to his summoner. Satoshi's crow eye and Yogen's eyes will often glow in unison. The crow eye's appearance is a ghastly violet that glows when it is not covered by an eyepatch. When the sharingan is used through the crow eye it appears to have blackened sclera and glowing purple tomoe and pupils. When the crow eye is in use it causes throbbing headache pain and is more susceptible to blindness. Mangekyo skills used through the crow eye are reduced by [1] use before the blindness status is inflicted. For example, if a technique can be used twice before blindness happens then in the crow eye it could only be used once meaning that the eye goes blind faster. However, the cursed crow eye is maddening when gazed upon as when a genjutsu is cast through it the eye glares with extremely bright violet light and inflicts insanity equal to the rank of the technique. ▱▰▱ Demonic Shroud | When an E-Rank amount of chakra is applied to Satoshi's natural chakra materialization it becomes even more realistic and haunting. Viewing the fog acts as the trigger for genjutsu and counts as eye contact for sharingan genjutsu/hypnosis if his sharingan is active. Alternatively, if no genjutsu is cast then viewing the shroud merely causes first-tier mental stress or insanity. This is not a technique and does not cost an activation. ▱▰▱ Illusory Prowess | This attribute allows any and all genjutsu to be cast through eye contact with the Uchiha. In addition, the genjutsu cast in this manner have the sight sense added to them at C Rank body. At S Rank body, the user's genjutsu are given the chakra sense. Also, mental stress or insanity can be added to any genjutsu cast through eye contact for an additional fifty percent chakra cost. ▱▰▱ Genetic Palette | With intensive genetic therapy and strong blood, this character is able to possess more than one transplant. For each rank of a technique, it's flames burn actively for one post or one additional post if a limit is given. ▱▰▱ Melee Prodigy | The user obtains a [1] point increase to agility while their sharingan is active for each body rank they have obtained. In addition, the user's first physical offensive activation every three posts gains a [1] point increase to speed per rank of their body, also requiring the eyes to be active. ▱▰▱ Mirror Master | Satoshi is able to add an additional sense to the illusory images created by the Mirror Image Art taijutsu style and custom techniques based upon it for a maximum of [2] senses. The images are sight-based and thus always have that sense but [2] additional senses like touch and sound can be added. ▱▰▱ Lore of the Crows | As a crow sage, Satoshi is able to read the ancient written crow language in the crow contract scroll and learn the secrets of their genjutsu. As a result, in combat, non-instance genjutsu cast by Satoshi in combat last for one post longer for no upkeep cost for each actively summoned crow on the battlefield (maximum of 5) as long as he is the contract holder. ▱▰▱ Fanning Flames | The user's fire based techniques may be doubled in size for no additional cost. This does not effect the strength of the user's fire based techniques. In addition, should the user's fire ninjutsu or clan techniques interact with another fire based technique, the user's technique steals one rank of chakra from the opposing technique. If this overpowers the opponents technique, this technique continues on it's path normally. ▱▰▱ Touch of the Boundless | The Uzumaki can create any and all seals, and therefore cast any sealing technique - no matter how intricate or complex - upon a single touch of their palm without handseals. This alternative method for Fuuin must still adhere to the alternative jutsu casting clause as chakra must still be gathered to accomplish a technique as a seal isn't instantly created. In addition, with one-touch and one action, the Uzumaki is able to summon up to three creatures from a contract for only the chakra cost of the highest-ranked creature summoned. ▱▰▱ Holy Conversion | For every RPC converted to the archpriest's religion they gain an endgame reward of their choice. The endgame reward can only be up to 2,000 XP in value. This PA is only obtained by archpriests and is automatically obtained once that title is granted. ▱▰▱ Plunder of the Vagabond | As a globally feared villain, you will forever be able to obtain Endgame perks with only three-quarters of the experience required.
Yoshiyuki was getting there, and honestly even if she hadn't done as he asked of her it wouldn't have mattered. The young boy was far from afraid of actually fighting her and if anything wanted to see if he could pull off a great performance so to speak. Which he felt like he did. Of course she seemed reluctant, but it didn't seem to matter. A slight change in her demeanor, the nervousness seemingly gone from what he could hear. Which was odd, perhaps someone interfered...but this was was fine. The hypnotic state she suddenly changed to helped his performance and that was simply that. Her words ended with a thrusting of her kunai into her own heart. Her lifeless corpse falling. Yoshiyuki's once distraught face changed to that of a smile, his hand wiping the false tears from his cheeks. As the audience applauded, Yoshiyuki would find himself bowing all around. As if he was an actor with a standing ovation for his brilliant display. Of course of all the spectators the most important one also seemed to be pleased. The words 'Well done.' coming from the Amekage to which Yoshiyuki would seem to face with a big and fairly twisted smile on his face. His fight was over, but this wasn't truly the end of the story yet.
The undertakers who had come into the arena to remove Kaya's corpse would be rather quickly approached by Yoshiyuki. His smile gone, and his featureless white eyes practically staring at them. Well...not like they could see anything, but it was eerie none the less. "I need her for an experiment, don't let her rot. I'll be coming to pick her up soon." He said to them, which seemed to elicit no response. Likely due to the combination of the job itself already being a rather gruesome one, and the affects they might have been under as far as the illusion grid went. As they went off, Yoshiyuki had left the arena. Other fights went on, more voices entering his head from all over. He remained until the final announcement. The new Amekage had declared the tournament to be over. Although he referring to himself as their god was a bit much for Yoshiyuki, to each their own. He could believe and think what he wanted. The young boy had no intention of stopping him.
However now he was a Genin, the first step towards allowing his creativity to shine. The first step towards showing those who treated his family so poorly how big of a mistake they truly made. Many things, ready to be done. New resources, new power...All of this would come to him soon. However for now? He had somethings he needed to test. Walking out of the academy and heading off to prepare for the future.
Achana Sonozaki, the one who had spoken to Satoshi prior about the proposed challenge to anyone who had survived their trials here jumped down into the arena that was no longer occupied. She seemed expectant of somebody to step up and take her up on the challenge for supremacy in a chance to elevate their status along with their family's. However it seemed like the festivities were concluding and people thought the show was over, so to speak. 'The kids and their fighting was just some piss-ant mid-card event! We're THE attraction. We're THE conversation. WE ARE THE GODSDAMN MAIN EVENT!', her split personality of Wrath screamed in pure rage as she looked coldly for somebody to fight her. "So? Who's going to come to me, kiss my boot and acknowledge me?! Who is going to step up and fight a true talent, and only prove me right... No matter how good you are, you Earth and Cistern rejects are only alive because you're lucky. You'll never be an elite like me!", she called out to nobody in particular as Pride was behind the wheels of the body that was Achana. The crowd, if interested might have a reaction, or sit and watch. Hells, Satoshi could even stick around if her master and leader wanted to be entertained and it would not matter. Achana was doing this to prove a point anyway. The point that she knew as self-evident, that only the elite were meant to sit at the top and those who were second rate only served as nothing more than fodder for the machine that was high society.
She stood there patiently in the arena while waiting, and in those brief moments, the tornado of personalities that existed inside her singular body seemed to argue amongst one another. Some might see this behavior as a form of paranoia, but it was simply a side effect of the emotional instability bred into those who possessed the Sakakugan doujutsu. 'It's fine if nobody responds though. Who could blame them? It's such a chore to challenge fate.', Sloth remarked internally. Though, the personality was met with a quick rebuttal from Lust, 'So lazy, it'd really make our knees quiver in delight if somebody could push us to the edge.' Though after that moment she shook her head and focused now, not on her internal power struggle, but as to who might be foolish or brave enough to step up and take on the Genjutsu monstrosity that had been carefully bred and manipulated by the Sonozaki family. "I just want to break somebody...", she sighed out in a hushed tone now, under her breath. The anticipation was likely to kill her before anyone else could.
With no response to her challenge, Achana kicked a rock slightly and sighed before dropping a business card in the middle of the arena. If anyone wanted to take her up on the challenge, and the sanctioned match that would either lead to their humiliation or elevation from the Earth or Cistern to the Sky Sector and all of it's privilege's, they would need only take her up on it. With that, she departed to go see about her place in the Village.

To say that Mako was disappointing at how quickly the life drained from her opponent would be an understatement. One last pitiful attempt to grab the Oni and Anzai's strength gave out. The killer looked on in a mix of disbelief and disgust. "Pathetic." She spat the words at the dying boy. Just when the adrenaline was going, right as the struggle turned desperate, brutal, beautiful he gave up. Maybe it was too much to ask that someone who hadn't had to fight their way out of the s**t and mud could prove to be a challenge. Was this what her new life topside had to offer? Spoiled brats that were all bark and no bite? What had moments ago been a life or death struggle was nothing to Mako now. She left the makeshift Saketon blade stuck in the corpse to eventually revert to it's liquid form, mixing with the blood and tears. Mako would walk out of the arena and leave any thoughts of the boy she killed behind, just another face in a growing crowd that had gotten in her way.
As Mako made her way out of the arena an Origami bird flew down and landed on her shoulder. Snatching the paper from her shoulder with all of the grace of a gorilla, Mako pulled open the now crumpled paper to find a message neatly written within. It read as an invitation to meet someone called Yazawa? It sounded as if they were an important player, or atleast they seemed to think so. The message also suggest she make certain moves to advance her career within the village. She was curious to say the least and while the message said a meeting would not happen right away she had something to work towards. She wondered if this Yazawa had anything to do with her release? If so he was definitely a major player in the village, someone she would definitely want to atleast hear out. With nothing better to do now that she was free and as of this moment a shinobi of Amegakure, she figured she would follow up on some of the information in the letter. Little did she know that as she left the academy grounds she was being watched, a small group of students and former friends of Anzai watched from the shadows with thoughts of vengeance on the cistern scum that had ended their friend's life.

Tetsu arrived at the academy, already in somewhat of a crappy mood due to how he was being treated as a member of the Cistern Sector. In his opinion, whatever the hell this whole class system was and how it interacted with individuals trying to get an education was complete bullsh-. Anyway, he'd go about settling himself down by getting his head into the books. This type of learning was different from what Tetsu was used to: having to learn and adapt on the go while surviving in the sewers. Tetsu was studying the concept of the Kai technique, the primary defense for breaking out of genjutsu, by manipulating one's flow of chakra.

The Henge technique was next on the list to learn, a simple transformation ability with the use of chakra. Tetsu practiced managing the flow of his chakra, until he could successfully increase its volume enough to cover his entire body. He wasn't exactly sure how the 'transformation' part of the technique worked, so he focused on his thoughts tuning them towards his desired transformation. In a sudden plume of smoke, the boy was transformed into his friend Hiro. He took no time to examine the transformation or anything before another cloud of smoke appeared, reverting himself back to his normal self.

Rather than turning oneself into something else, this technique simply replicated the individual who casted the technique multiple times. The bunshin technique being the most basic skill for creating clones. Tetsu performed the required hand seal for the technique, remembering to control the flow of his chakra, but this time attempting to separate it from him in equal portions. The clones held no real substance to them and were almost, if not exactly that, imaginary. However, he successfully created exact replicas of himself, which was the entire point of the technique.

While he was practicing his clone technique, there were some other smaller kids a bit several feet from him tossing books at each other. Tetsu paid no mind to them, for most of the students here were nearly half his age if not younger. That was one of the consequences to joining the academy much later than he should have. One of the books flew past the opposing kid as he ducked to dodge it, ramming Tetsu in the back of the head. Before the kids could apologize, he had replaced himself with a nearby chair, glaring menacingly at the kids. They quickly stopped their roughhousing in fear that Tetsu might beat them up.

Tetsu allowed himself to cool off by heading outside of the academy to get some fresh air, as well as peace and quite from the rowdy children inside. It would also give him some time to practice chakra flow to his feet, so that he could learn how to walk on water properly. The first couple attempts ended up with wet feet, for Tetsu was still having trouble focusing while dealing with his frustration from the earlier incident still. Once he was fully calmed down, he focused chakra into the bottoms of his feet and walked across the small pond, feeling no different than if he was walking on the ground.

Once he walked across the entire length of the pond and his feet returned to solid ground, the chakra forming around his feet dissipated. The challenge for that technique was walking on a liquid surface that had a tendency to ripple and wave. He wondered how challenging walking vertically could be, where he'd need to apply enough chakra to adhere himself to the surface while dealing with the forces of gravity and his own weight. Tetsu applied chakra to his feet once more, starting by raising one leg and planting his foot on the wall ahead of him. Once he felt like the step was secure, he followed with the second, alternating feet until he was walking up the length of the wall.

A few steps later, he was near the top of the wall, feeling the rush of the wind along his body due to the height in which he had ascended. He carefully walked back down the length of the wall until he was on the ground, and put his focus towards the next technique he was going to learn. Shunshin, a technique revolved around quick sudden movement to a location known to the caster. He just made it to the top of the wall, so he figured that would be a great end point for practicing the shunshin technique. The first few times he ended up running right into the wall, or only making it nearly halfway up before painfully skidding down. The speed at which he was moving was new for him, taking Tetsu some time to adjust before he was able to make it to the top of the wall in a single sudden movement.

With the body flicker technique taken care of, Tetsu leaped down from the wall and landed gracefully onto the ground. He returned into the main building to play around with some seals capable of storing weapons. Having somewhat of a fondness for weapons, being able to have some on hand in a pinch would be useful for him. Some simple seals were created along the length of his forearm so that they could be hidden, and inside were store some of the basic tools which he carried. It was only a few shuriken, but the seals proved to be working after the testing the unsealing and resealing methods with said tools.

Following the trend of utilizing weapons, Tetsu had discovered an ability that he didn't know he was capable of during his fight the previous leader of the gang he is now in charge of: he could turn parts of his own body into weapons. He was so full of adrenaline and anger when it happened the first time, Tetsu wasn't sure if he'd be able to pull it off again, now that he needed to do it consciously. Chakra was focused throughout his body and channeled into his arm. He simply watched as his skin transformed into a black, withered, gnarled wood texture, turning his hand into a sharp blade made from this strange wood. He gave the makeshift weapon a couple of practiced swings before releasing the technique and reverting his arm to its original state.
Tetsu examined his hand and arm carefully. What the hell did they do to me? He knew this had to be the work of the scientists that he escaped from. Little memory of his past or any events before the time of his capture were foggy, almost nonexistent. Whatever this was, he'd use it to make a better life for him and his gang, and eventually make them regret ever giving him these abilities. He turned to a training dummy in a sudden flash of anger, aiming his hand towards it. His armed turned into the gnarled withered bark like before, but in several branches that entangled themselves around the training dummy, restraining it. By simply applying tension through his muscles, he could hear the wooden construction of the training dummy creaking under the increased pressure of the wooden branches which he manipulated.

"Wh-Where's Big-?" Amaya began to turn her head towards that direction before Yaggy would reach down with his tongue and block her view. He tilted his hilt to block such a sight from her eyes while the sound of somebody appearing before her took her attention away from trying to locate her brother. The approaching footsteps of one of the adults would cause her to look up in a mixture of leftover adrenaline and fear. She wore a dark mask and had eyes about as red as the Amekage's. Yaggy seemed to whirl his tongue back in his mouth as the taste of bird would fill the air. That expression caused Amaya some amount of concern, as she had been fairly worried about if this woman had been expecting something more than what ending she was given. But instead of opening her hand to strike the girl, Amaya would wince as the robes opened to show...a mask of some kind. The student turned Genin would accept the gift while listening to her word. "Oh-Okay..." she muttered as the woman would disappear away as quickly as she had appeared. She was soon escorted off of the premises and rewarded with the other students who had "passed" their advancement tryouts.
Nagendra moved swiftly through the puddled streets just outside the academy. His young pale skin heavily contrasted the black button up outfit he wore beneath the striped Haori while bandages covered from the torso up to his nose, only allowing the locks of black hair to grant glimpses of the yellow and green eyes he wore with an intense purpose. He'd only been within these village walls for a short time, but his heart had never so feverously yearned to get to work. Never burned so intently on learning anything. He was here to learn to take the lives of as many humans as he could, within reason of course.
As he moved inside, a young kunoichi that couldn't have been more than twelve sneered at him. " They let losers like you into our prestegious academy? What are you, Cistern?" He continued moving, not paying the girl any mind. The irritation was clear all over her face as she swung at Nagendra, striking him with the blunt end of a kunai. The girl stood over him as he would look up. Her expression monstrous. Villainous. Conceited.
'Poof'
Nagendra's body exploded in a harmless plume of smoke. Before the girl writhed a cluster of garden variety water snakes that slithered and crawled about in an attempt to return to their homes. " One." a smooth and harmonious voice echoed from behind the girl. She would whip around to see what...no...who was behind her. The boy who she'd believed she'd assaulted stood right next to her, placing his arm over her shoulder as she turned to take a side by side position to her. " Miss...whoever you are. That is 'One'. Allies...get three." She shoved his arm off of her and put distance between the two. " Ew gross. You smell like cistern district too. How dare you threaten me?! I'm part of the SKY DISTRICT, if you hurt me you'll be killed before you can even blink! " Nagendra remained silent, his smirk concealed by the tape covering his face.

Moving on, Nagendra would enter the actual classroom in the hopes that not everyone in this place of sacred learning would be as moronic as she. To his liking, he would be right. The rest of the people in the classroom that he would encounter were either Cistern or Earth Sector. Poor or Middle Class. It was just that girl...and he knew what that meant. She would graduate...despite her inflated ego and underdeveloped frontal lobe. Meaning one of his people...the impoverished would perish....he was not blinded to this knowledge. He sat down, burdened by her life within moments of knowing it existed. He studied his Kai technique, quickly picking up on it's intricacies.

Hours later, Nagendra stood, following the class for their practical applications session. Nagendra stood in the rain once more, facing the obstical course laid out before him. The instructor's spoke up. " You have twenty minutes. Figure out how to water walk and climb or die before your exam even has a proctor selected. " Nagendra sighed, wondering why he had to relive this. All the way from the land of mist, the KASA Member who'd taken him here had taught him basic ninja arts such as this... was everyone not able to grasp such simple concepts? The allotted time passed, prompting Nagendra to take his spot at the front of the obstacle course with the other 29 students. He placed his first foot forward as instructed. Standing on water.

Planting his feet on the surface of the pool before him, Nagendra would watch as roughly six of the students would immediately begin to sink. Less than an instant passed before KASA agents would appear from the sky scrapers above and begin to rain senbon down upon the slashing meat bags in the water. Seconds later, red water poured forth, 24 now stood with the class. Nagendra silently noted missteps were not permitted, lest he be robbed of his murderous intent. At the sound of a whistle the two dozen remaining shinobi rushed unto the water. Blades exploded from the depths, catching various students by the shins, some receiving minor cuts, others being decapitated. Nagendra would not allow himself to become hindered by the losses. He moved forward as he reached the first climbing obstacle. A city building with no ledges that reached to the heavens. The serpentine youth leaped from the water as both feet planted flat upon the slick surface that would not forgive any who failed to mold their chakra. A moment of focus would drive him upward, scaling the tower with ease, leading the way with the Sky Sector girl on his tail.

Having reached the summit of the course, Nagendra would finally look behind him by the corner of his eye to see the uncouth woman attempting to sneak behind him. He masked his hand movements as he formed the sign, suspecting foul play. Just as the sign was formed and the chakra molded a solid but unseen push would be felt on his back. Well... if he was there. A well placed clone had given the girl the impression of his location but in actuality she was almost two feet from her mark. The forceful action would off balance her and she would begin teetering towards the edge. Someone of her talent...or lack there of would surely not survive the fall. His real hand would snatch the clothing of the girl and hold her just over the edge, feet stumbling for purchase. " Two." he quietly whispered.

The girl appeared instantly rattled. While she stammered back the exam proctors had arrived. Staring at the girl lying at a now safe point and Nagendra so close to the edge, ready to drop he would speak in a monotone and rather bored inflection " Ah. I saved her this time. No worries. " The boys buttery and pleasant voice would disarm the proctor, meanwhile the Sky Sector girl would seem to cower as he made his voice audible once again. Unbeknownst to the proctor, he'd cast his Thunderous Voice Technique, causing the earth to quake at each sound he made.

Nagendra had dropped as though he was jumping to his death from the skyscraper, as though it were mere child's play. As the ground came ever closer to his person he would remove a small beginners scroll. Whipping it open as he plummeted to the earth he would bite his finger as he rotated like a sideways top downward. A small poof of smoke burst forth as a rope would begin to mimic the top like pattern he fell in before a grappling hook at it's end would grasp at the skyscraper's cement structure. Once it had found it's grip and the rope pulled tight it launched Nagendra like a child leaping from a play ground swing going forward while hovering thirty feet over the earth below.

Flying forward with the momentum of his drop of over one hundred feet, Nagendra now rapidly approached the earth at a shallow angle. His hands quickly folded over one another as they began to weave the hand signs to execute his next skill. With the interlocking of his hands into the tiger seal the chakra would be focused. As his body would impact the ground, instead it would seem to sink beneath it, as if it were water. His doton technique permitted him to move just ten feet below the surface as he dipped in and leaped from the craggy waters before continuing his run through the course.

The finish line for the course was in sight, he only had 100 yards to close the distance and complete the race. His legs continued moving on their own as he pushed on. With his adrenaline pulsing with each step, he wasn't able to hear the other classmates who moved somewhere behind him. With a single hand sign, both index and middle finger pointed skyward on the clasped hands he would send a pulse of chakra out like echo-location. The sounds of each individual movement, the falling feet, splashing bodies as they stumbled to move on, the wind shear from others as they descended from the building. '16' he thought to himself as he could distinguish the proctor's heavier footsteps from the others. He'd lost almost half the class to a standard exam. He gritted his teeth. He had to do better than finish. He had to finish first. The sounds echoing to him would quickly reveal two classmates directly behind him. The Sky Sector girl and another. The proctor. "s**t" he mumbled under his breath. He'd humiliated her. She'd probably claimed he'd tried to kill her. Not yet at least. His eyes sharpened as he realized that he may be the next to fall. A revenge killing. Pathetic. He had one last skill that he could showcase from what the KASA Operative had shown him. With a rapid burst of chakra to the soles of his feet, droplets of rain scattered everywhere as the puddled earth he'd been upon an instant before was left empty. Up ahead, at the finish line, standing triumphantly was Nagendra. " Body Flicker Technique, Mastered." He said with an unseen grin.

The Sky Sector Kunoichi finished second, a large group of average shinobi directly behind her. The proctor had clearly assisted her. 'She was so untalented there's no way she could have gotten this far without breaking a sweat.' he thought. Nagendra knew there was no way the proctor would put that girl in a death match with him, he'd finished first and they'd made no effort to mask their assisting her. She was entirely outmatched. He sighed, knowing another of the survivors would be killed by her. He'd wait until the class had resolved and head home for the day, ready for what his next session would bring.

She didn’t outwardly acknowledge the cleaning poppy gave Sute or the follow up words as her mind hadn’t fully considered what would come next and was stuck there, she was not thinking entirely straight as it was…. a bath or something would possibly be a potential nice escape she considered before the end of the exams approached. One sentiment that Shigeko and Poppy shared in the exams was a lack of interest in the other matches, for Shigeko it was less about watching people kill one another and more along the lines her doubting there would be a match worth watching, that was actually truly competitive in her eyes. ”Yeahhhh…. most of these matches don’t have much to them, this lacks real competition for the most part. Coarse that’s not the point of these matches so there’s no real point commenting….” She expressed with a pinch of reluctance to the other girl, rolling her eyes as the crowd erupted over one of the deaths around that point.
Shigeko put her hands in her pockets and shrug saying ”Well, as you are another graduate, might as well give you my name…. It’s Shigeko, what is yours?” She asked being as she’d never been directly introduced to the other girl and would rather tag a name to the face as opposed to just identify Poppy by her traits that Shigeko found irritating. Her tone made her come off as half interested, the Oni pulling her flask from a back pocket and taking a swig right after asking, shaking her head and exhaling due to the strength and size of the the amount she ingested. Then she would offer poppy the flask as a sign of decency, regardless of if she likely Poppy she would at least try and get along with a comrade to some degree, not really caring though if the other girl would share similar sentiment. She then looked to Sute and asked ”Do we hang around for the rest of this or do you wanna get going now? We can get going whenever ya want.” She asked Sute at this point as it hadn’t reached the end of the exams by this point, not really caring to stay but she wouldn’t lead Sute around and simply follow the other girls desire on this matter.

Ryuken Hoshigaki
Entering the academy, he went to find a sensei to begin training E-rank general techniques that would be requirements in order to qualify for the graduation mission. He would firstly learn techniques falling under the Maruton category, beginning with Shadowing Stealth. The Shadowing Stealth technique was a manipulation of chakra to essentially divert attention from the user. His sensei brought in a local rice farmer and had him stare at Ryuken, whom then formed a handseal and tried to divert his eyes from him. The farmer was at first staring directly at Ryuken before kind of following what seemed to be a distracting burst of a chakra to the right near a window. [Shadowing Stealth learned]
The next technique Ryuken sought to possess was the classic Clone Technique. A single handseal would be formed and an intangible without substance clone formed. He ordered it to jump up and down and move a few feet forward. Then he formed an additional handseal to release the clone so it would disappear. It was Ryuken's understanding that more clones would be formable at a higher skill level. [Shadow Clone learned]
Following the Clone Technique is the Transformation Technique, another of the 'Big Three' classic techniques every academy touted. Like the Clone Technique only a single handseal was necessary. It was possible to transform the physical appearance of the user into another object either animate or inanimate. For his training, Ryuken first transformed himself into his sensei and then once more into a painting. [Transformation Technique learned]
The following technique Ryuken would learn was the Escaping Skill. A special technique specifically used when caught. This specifically involved forcing chakra into a tied knot or rope. Having his sensei first tie him to a nearby chair, Ryuken would practice his chakra control carefully. Whisking the rope free, he would find himself wriggling himself free of the problem technique that seemed to have him imobile. A useful technique for missions where things went wrong for sure. Final of the 'Big Three' would be the Substitution Technique. This involved quite literally switching or substituting places with an inanimate object to avoid taking damage or to surprise an opponent. Ryuken's sensei brought over some wood logs that could be used as viable replacements. Practicing against thrown shuriken, Ryuken found himself using the Substitution to avoid being pierced by the shuriken only just barely. If he had been any slower he might have needed to get a medical ninja's support. [Substitution Technique learned]
The next Maruton technique listed was the Barrier Shatter Technique. A bit of an odd fit, but effectively useful versus sealing specialists. His sensei formed a barrier of a weak level, having Ryuken form a handseal to then jut his chakra into the barrier. While it did not break immediately, it did crack before eventually dissipating from the strength of the chakra. This ability would be very niche but could be applicable in the future. The next technique seemed to be perhaps a less combat useful ability but maybe one useful for helping people struggling with getting rest. The Feigning Sleep Technique quite literally assisted shinobi with going into a slumber. Having his sensei lay down, Ryuken focused chakra to the head of his sensei after his eyes closed. It quickly helped his sensei fall into a restful sleep, that Ryuken would just nudge his sensei's shoulder to wake him from. Another niche technique, but perhaps somehow will have value in the future. [Feigning Sleep Technique learned]
As a primary counter to genjutsu opponents all members attending the academy ought to learn Release Technique. Having his sensei curse Ryuken with a genjutsu showing a spider horror image, Ryuken stood still and formed a single handseal focusing his chakra to spike suddenly. At first the spiders began to surround him and bury him inside, before he then saw the image burst and separate as his chakra spiked to fill his brain. He was then freed of the genjutsu. Genjutsu are dangerous, but having a weapon to counter them was key. [Release Technique learned]
The next two techniques were key for any Academy Student to master. He would start with the Act of Tree Climbing technique. He would form a single handseal focusing chakra to his feet as he began to climb a nearby wall after following a demonstration from his sensei. At first he slid down after only going up a few feet, but eventually he found himself climbing up to the ceiling and then hopping down with ease. With this technique he now could be more mobile in his shinobi path. [Act of Tree Climbing Technique learned]
Another technique that was advised was the Body Flicker technique. Accelerating movement quickly, Ryuken followed his sensei for instruction. Being able to accelerate while climbing trees was useful. He knew this was a parent technique for many others. Ryuken practiced this a few more times to make sure he was ready and could do it when necessary. [Body Flicker learned]
Following Tree Climbing would be Water Surface Walking to be able to walk on top of water. As a Suiton specialist and someone in Amegakure, this technique in particular felt critical to master. Like before he would practice chakra control forming a single handseal as he stepped into a pool of water. The first few times he fell in becoming covered in water and quite damp not that it bothered him. But, after a fourth and fifth try he then found himself simply doing it just like breathing and second nature. He was ready with that ability to go into Suiton if he decided to do so.
