The robot froze, suddenly. All actions halted. Sparks dwindled into nothing. For a moment, it stood static, absolutely immobile--and then, it collapsed into a heap at the feet of the Mauvians. When it hit the ground, another wave of energy rolled through the area and suddenly, every Mauvian felt a strange warmth and returned to their original form. Paws and fur and tails and ears and magic returned--and something else. A holographic screen appeared above the robot and it seemed to be processing a few lines of data. The screen flickered a few times before a blueprint displayed before them. It didn’t linger for long, but it was enough time to commit the plans to memory. There was a language written on the screen to accompany it--not something they could read but something they could understand. This was Mauvian technology, old and ancient--lost and hidden on this world. It was supposed to be protected but, lost to time, had been forgotten and abandoned. Now, it was in their hands again. They had the power to blend in. The power to pass as humans. ...Unfortunately, that was all they were going to get out of this. The screen flickered irregularly for a few seconds before fading altogether. Smoke began billowing from the heap of metal on the ground. Within a matter of seconds, before anything could be salvaged, it exploded. Debris flew everywhere, raining down across the construction field. The only thing that seemed to survive was a single, glistening gemstone that landed in front of Brioche. In the distance, a police siren was getting louder. The Mauvians had succeeded tonight--though, it might not be a good idea to stick around. Quote: CONGRATULATIONS, Mauvians! You have unlocked the ability to shift into another form! Mauvians may now access a human glamour by following the blueprint to create a small transformation pen. This keychain sized pen can be customized into whatever design your Mauvian prefers. By pressing the button on the tip of the miniature pen, Mauvians will be able to initiate the transformation into their human civilian glamour; to transform back they simply need to press it again. You may handwave your Mauvian creating this item! Mauvians who have met growth requirements and unlocked their powered humanoid form may access this human civilian glamour for up to three hours a day; if a Mauvian has not reached growth requirements to unlock the next stage, they can access their human civilian glamour for up to one hour. While in this form, Mauvians will appear completely human and will not have access to any magical abilities; they will not have any energy signature, will not be able to sense, awaken, or upgrade senshi, will not be able to use their laser, and will not be able to access any other Mauvian specific abilities. They may customize their civilian attire as often as they want, however they will always appear as the same human in this glamour. They will not be identifiable as Mauvians even if they resemble their humanoid form. Transforming between forms will not cost them any energy, so they can switch as often as they like, but as soon as they run out of their daily energy to maintain a human glamour, they will automatically revert back to their feline Mauvian form. Arthur and Chip are now responsible for uploading the blueprint to their respective databases so all future Mauvians will also have access to the form. Additionally, upon obtaining the little gemstone, Brioche is struck with sudden inspiration and can craft a Permanent Accessory. You may handwave creating this item, but Brioche can create a Mauvian Defense Robot*! This robot can either hover up to a foot of the ground or can roll or walk next to its creator pending player choice. Quote: Mauvian Defense Robot - A baseball sized robot that can be customized into any design the Mauvian desires. It is powered with an ancient battery and cannot be replicated. The Mauvian Defense Robot accompanies its creator. It automatically stays within two feet of its creator and cannot stray further than that. At its creator’s command, it is capable of firing a small laser as strong as a Mauvian’s Star Blast. It can only do this once per day; afterwards, the laser may still attempt to activate but without enough charge, it simply functions as if it were a laser pointer. *This item will be released again in the future, but Brioche is the first cat to create anything like this!

It was dying! Miss Kitty smiled smugly before, after it's entire dog and pony shiw== In place of a dainty, if firm woman in oversized clothing there was an albino Abyssynian slowly emerging from the mound of clothes, and she flattened her ears, limping out as she ignored most, beyond Arthur, to fold the clothing in a manner she might carry iut on her smaller back before scrunching her nose at the steel toed boots, and sighed. "Okay..." She sighed in defeat before looking to Arthur. "I'm afraid I need to return these to someone I live with and explain myself. I have a strong feeling someone at home is going to be grouchy." Alex was going to want to feed the poor thing, and now her secret was out. She didn't know if this meant she'd be scolded for knocking Bitchkitty on her a**, but that was a problem for Future Miss Kitty, the mauvian stretching. "I do hope we can spend time around one another again, Arthur. I liked speaking to you, uintil that nasty little robot interrupted." No, shew did not like having a limop. She was having words with Ally about this robot overlord thing. WORDS! The little Abyssynian bowed, then nosed to carry the clothes on her back, using her tail to hold them as she carefully grabbed the boots tooth by booth tongues, and slowly began to drag things home, ears completeely flat at this indignity of it all. Exit[/b[
MoonKitsune Arthur's actually the high point of her evening.

Namielle
She felt an unusual sense of relief as the warmth embraced her, while not familiar the Mauvian soon released what may have been the cause of such a feeling. For a week now she'd been trapped in something she didn't understand, she'd been a little lost and alone, and had scarcely managed to keep herself warm or safe in that time... And all that had suddenly dissipated. She was herself again, paws and little kitty toes, fluffy ears and that familiar tail. Everything that had made her who she was had returned to normal and it had all been the result of the destruction of their mechanical friend over there.
She couldn't help but smile, casting an appreciative glance towards the two mauvians who had managed to silence the beast properly. She may not have known them but when it came to both Chip and Arthur she probably owed them a debt of gratitude that day. Truth be told, she probably owed everyone a small debt given the collective effort they had put forth in the face of...well... whatever that had been.
Whatever it was though and how it had come to be in the city would remain a mystery, but all of this was largely irrelevant when something in her recognised what flickered up on the screen. Impossible to read it might have been but something in her gut told her that it was important, advised her that she should be remember it. She might not know what to do with the information just yet but she was quick to at least catalogue it in her memory.
She could revisit it at another time when circumstances allowed but for now she was just happy to be back to normal.
Nevertheless the sound of police sirens in the distance made it clear that it was time for her to take her leave. The presence of several cats in a building site following a rather loud explosion would provide more questions than answers and while this city was weird even she knew that sometimes it was better to make a quiet exit than to encourage further curiosity.
The Mauvian took her leave for now, glancing only briefly over her shoulder towards those who had at least helped to bring her back to her normal form. Hopefully they would get home safely as well wherever that safety might be...
(Out she goes!)

Runelucia
Well, as things goes... Rune was preoccupied elsewhere and for the most part, uninvolved. Instead, as mentioned earlier, she had expended her energy towards indulging herself in this rare humanoid form of hers. Spending much time at the arcade, indulging in idol exploits with Tochi, and more. These would be pleasant memories to her, barring the bizarre circumstances that caused her to become human in the first place.
And now... Rune suddenly found herself back into her kitten form. She stretched herself and gazed at the debris that dotted the landscape before her. 'Looks like whatever was there has been blown to smithereens,' she thought to herself.
Then, she heard sirens ringing from a distance, which reminded her that she ought to skedaddle from the scene. For one, she has 0 idea and secondly, she realized that she ought to return to Tochi's home and figure out how to return back to her actual residence. 'I wonder if Lani missed me at all?' Rune couldn't help but wonder. 'I hope she did allll of her homework... and I wonder if I could still play games on her phone...'
And with that, Rune scurried away, lost in thought.

Etoile
Well, that was... that? The robot finally broke down, and then, just like that, she was back to being the small kitten she normally was. Being a normal human for a week had been kind of fun, but she missed getting to ride around in Alise's backpacks and snack on candy all day while watching TV in Alise's room.
Something flickered on a screen that appeared above the robot, and while Etoile wasn't the most technologically adept despite being a Mauvian, she seemed to get at least the basic idea of it, maybe. Well, maybe it wasn't important, anyway, or she'd remember it later.
Sirens approached from the distance, and it seemed like as good a time as ever to scurry on back home, before she got in trouble.
(Etoile out)
