Dratani - Many before had come to the Star Stones to get a glimpse of Ostarath. Some had even succeeded, but Dratani would not be among them. At least not this visit.

Cyrille - A lot of people were hunting for Ostarath, but those at the Feeding Pens would not be the ones to find her.

Cyrille
The brunette sighed, and moved onward for the lake. Why not?

Nothing. Ostarath was good at hiding, too good infact, for a creature so large. The harper sat in a bit of a sulk, watching the activity below as she tried to think. This wasn't turning out how she had hoped but there was still time left in the day.
A clutch gathered in a basket Held by claws of green Hiding away for those to seek A prize for the keen
From hatching sands to the lake The little green runs on Search the weyr, the halls and stones But they find her gone
It was a work in progress, tuneless but a start. Needed another verse, a better ending, but where was there more to look? The store rooms maybe? the firestone store might be big enough for a small green

Cyrille - No Ostarath at the lake either. Dratani - The Firestone Store was almost eerily quiet. Maybe it wasn't such a good hiding spot for the green.

That was it, she had looked everywhere. The Dining hall, hatching grounds, weyrling barracks, feeding grounds, the lake, infirmary, star stone and the firestone store. No Ostarath, not so much as a glimpse. Was this were where it ended? Was this how the song finished? Maybe if she went back to Dining Hall someone might have a clue.

Dratani - A few people in the Dining Hall had cause a glimpse of Ostarath. None could see her now, but they had seen her.

On her first round she had headed from here to the Hatching grounds, and since that hadn't given any result there didn't seem a point to retracing her footsteps. To The lake then

Dratani - There may have been a lot of dragons lounging on the shore of the lake, but Ostarath was not among them.

It really was a nice day to be outside, Dratani thought as she tried to stay optimistic. How much more time could she afford to keep looking before having to do some actual work? Writing a song was work, she convinced herself. Well Ostarath wasn't here, best move on to the.... Hatching grounds?

T'ves and Green Azelth Their prize acquired, the pair headed back towards the barracks to find a suitable container to house the egg. I hope it's a green! Azelth said as her eyes whirled green. "I do not need another green." He really hoped it wasn't a green. What was Huxali going to think of this? The brown probably wouldn't mind a green.
She pouted a moment then perked right back up. We should pick names for her! "But what if it's not a green?" Fine! I'll pick names for a girl and you can pick names for a boy! T'ves shrugged, that worked for him.
A'no and Brown Hivapath Despite finding a pilfered snack for their bellies, they didn't locate a green with a basket full of eggs. Do you think it's possible she could be in the infirmary? A'no didn't think so and said as much, "probably not, and we might disturb someone who's not feeling well." We can be really quiet A'nomine. We won't bother anyone, not even the healers! The brown crouched down and crept toward the infirmary. No one would see him coming or leaving. A'no rolled his eyes, but smiled and followed behind the slinking brown.
M'tha and Green Glafateth It was a great view! But not one that included an egg in their immediate future. M'tha patted the green on the shoulder after the pair had caught their breath from the climb up. "Don't worry dear. We are not giving up yet!" The yellow of worry cleared from the green's eyes and she sat up a bit more. Right! How about we try the lake next? I could use a drink too. "Of course! I'm sure Ostarath is thirsty too after all this running around. And going down will be easier than going up!" The pair laughed as they headed down to the lake.
Candidate Verria That location hadn't worked either. She wondered if there were even any eggs left. Ostarath would tell them when it was over wouldn't she? Verria hoped she would and wouldn't let people keep looking for her in vain. Perhaps she'd try the feeding pens next.
V'lla and Brown Ardnamuth No green greeted the pair. They would have to try some place else. "What if we go up to the Star Stones?" But it's such a long walk up there. The brown whined softly. Couldn't they like stay here and wait for Ostarath to show herself? V'lla snorted and gave him a poke, "it'll do you go! Now let's go if we want that egg!"

Dratani - The Hatching Grounds were quiet. No signs of Ostarath, and by now evacuated by dragons that fell asleep looking for her. Cyrille - The Dining Hall was a popular place for practice of instruments, and Cyrille would find no shortage of company, but she wouldn't find Ostarath. A'no and Hivapath - The pair wouldn't even get into the Infirmary before a green was shooed out right into their path. The healers would not have her hiding among their patients and causing a ruckus again. Ostarath was pushed right into the pairs path, humming happily when she saw them. Guess you found me, she said happily, seemingly unperturbed by being ejected from the Infirmary. Placing the basket down gently she looked at the pair. Pick whichever one you like.M'tha and Glafateth - The lake was a good place to get a drink, and Ostarath had done the same earlier, but she wasn't there now. Verria - There were indeed many eggs left, just none at the Feeding Pens at the moment. V'lla and Ardnamuth - The Star Stones were good exercise, and a good view of the Weyr. Not good for finding Ostarath though.

Dratani honestly didn't know what to expect at this point anymore, she was just running back and forth at this point. Back across the Weyr to the Feeding pens then

Dratani - Perhaps it was because Ostarath was too young to hunt her own food that she didn't seem to be at the feeding pens.
