"Did your grandfather come from a long line of prestigious master smiths? Many of which served the imperial army? My Grandfathers forged the weapons the Kutou army took to battle against Konan!" he refered to the war Kutou waged against Konan during the last time the priestess where around. "Can you say that? Can you say the generals themselves of hundreds of years ago have weilded your blade to victory? I can, I have seen some of these blades, locked away in chests because they are just to valuable to be kept in the hands of young soliders."

"And you are proud of when Kutou tried to take over all the other lands? How is that something to be proud of?" Jin looked at him with disdain, "And you know what... I have things to take care of... next time you insult my honor or my families sword, I will make you regret it." He sheathed his sword and picked up the tents. "I'll have no more of your foolishness."

"I have one more question, do you know how to set up the tent you are carrying?" the boy had picked up two of the big imperial tents, one of which he had to setup before...

"These things... they are easy to set up, and I am not falling to such a ruse. You haven't got the control to be near the Lady Tatsuko. I can deal with the tents myself." He turned to leave...
((He's not a boy! Please stop calling him that! He's 18!))

((Lei is used to old men, its a kid.))
"Are you sure, that tent takes atleast 3 men to put up...I've had the displeasure of setting one up..." a few soliders behind Lei rolled their eyes agreeing with him.

((The tents are the small, one person tents...))
Jin ignored him and left, going back to the carriage. "Idiot," he cursed under his breath. He took the small, one person tents and placed them on the carriage, before climbing in.

Lei shrugged and turned back to the General. The General just smiled, "As far as I am concerned, your in." a cheer went up around the men. Lei tied his sword to his belt and smiled, That was easier than he thought.

Smiling, Tatsuko followed Jin to the carriage, and waited when he told her to. She did want to go into the military encampment, but she was almost afraid to. As it was, the longer she waited, the more curious she became. Carefully, she hopped out of the carriage, and told the driver to tell Jin that she was looking around. There wasn't very far that she could go anyways. So, she wandered around the base, smiling as she did. The guards had heard Jin was getting a tent for the Priestess of Seiryuu, so when they saw her, they let her inside.
She bowed her head gently, thanking them for letting her in, and began to walk around. Tatsuko hadn't been very far when she saw the ending parts of the arguement between Jin and the other man, the one named Lei. Jin seemed... different. True, she had only known him for a little while, but Jin was acting rather cold. She thought he would be glad to have found another warrior, since that would mean they were closer to their goal. He didn't seem to want to have found the other warrior. She bit her lip slightly, as she looked around. She didn't want to be sneaking around, but she was supposed to find the other warriors. I am sorry Jin... I know you don't seem to like him... but if he is another warrior, I do need to talk to him.
With that in mind, she started walking towards Lei. The only problem was that she didn't know what she was going to say to him. She couldn't just say 'Hi, I'm the Priestess of Seiryuu. Do you have a mark somewhere on your body?' That would just be silly. As she walked around, she felt a bit uneasy. The soldiers around her seemed to be giving her funny looks, something she wasn't used to yet.

Koori was sitting on top of the trees along the road playing his flute. He noticed the carrige, but didn't do much to acknowledge it. "What is this I feel... that power..." He set his flute in his sash and lept down.

Lei had broken away from the group of men and took the reins of his horse and began to lead her to the stables. Once inside the steed was assigned a stall and Lei placed her in it, and took off her sadel calmly talking and stroking the moutn as he removed her sadel. "Here we are Lin, were in the army." the horse just leaned down and began to eat some of the hay nearbye. "And you know Lin, thats why I hate nobility, they don't ever listen, and come on, a one man tent for someone as important as the priestess, she should have luxury and nothing less. As he put it, I am a commoner, and I would make sure the priestess would be comfertable no matter what, but evidently I am not important." Lei took a brush and was brushing out the black steeds coat.

The driver told Jin that the priestess had gone inside, and he ran in, just in time to here that peasent bad mouthing him. He drew his sword and rushed in, surprising both him and the priestess. Jin knock the boy to the ground and held his sword to his neck. "I don't expect we'll need the damn tents. I'm hoping on the goodness of the people of Kutou to give us lodging. Hold your tongue before I cut it out of your head. You speak like a crazy person, and you have no honor. Have some respect in front of the priestess! And if you can't keep your damn powers under control, I will kill you before you harm her."
((I understand that your character is a nut job... but in Ancient China talking like that about a noble man would call for death...))

((You don;t know how to handel a horse... >.< )) Lin bcame spooked and bucked up, as the man held the blade to her master's throat, Lei saw the horse rear up and jumped up pushing the man backwards as hard as he could, the blade cutting part of his throat, he winced, and then screamed as his hand hit the ground moments before the horses hoof landed, slamming into his arm. Lei curled up clenching his arm, he was now laying right where the man had been threatining him.

Tatsuko was about to speak to Lei when Jin burst in. When she saw him attack the other warrior, her eyes widened with fright. While she was used to seeing her brother spar, and herself, she never fought with live steel. It didn't help that Tatsuko had a bit of a problem with blood. It was something she didn't tell people. Her own blood, not a problem in the least, but another's blood. It frightened her. Quite badly, actually. She pressed herself against one of the walls, as she slowly slid down it, shaking as she did. Normally, Tatsuko would run, but her mind wasn't working properly. So, she sat against the wall, saying nothing and trembling.
Even though she was frightened, her mind was actually chiding her for it. It's just a little blood... it's alright... come on. Get up! You have to stop them from fighting anymore!

Jin had roled out of the way, getting hurt a bit, but he got up and away from the horse. Then he just left... the priestess would be fine, he hoped.

Tatsuko was still shaking as she slowly lifted her head. She saw Jin leaving, and she tried to get to her feet. She could tell something was wrong. Granted, she could tell that in the first place. Why else would they be fighting? It took her a moment to get on her feet. She carefully walked over to the injured Lei, pulling out a handkerchief for him to put on his neck to stop the bleeding. With a muffled, "sorry" she sprinted after Jin. She was worried about him.
