IdessaIdessa held onto Granis' hand. The horses were larger than she had thought they would be. And the chocobos were just as cute as she had imagined from stories. "Can I pet them?" She asked him. "I agree, Mogroe, it is very nice. These animals are clearly treated well here."

IdessaIdessa was delighted. She walked over to a white chocobo and scratched under its chin. It seemed to like that. The feathers were soft and fluffy. Then she went and pet one of the horses as well. She wished she had something to feed them. "I like them too!", she told Granis. "No, Mogroe, I haven't. I have rode on a dolphin though."

Idessa"That would be wonderful!" She said to Granis, in an excited voice. She turned towards Mogroe and replied: "I was born a mermaid. I spent all my life in the ocean until today. Today is my fifteenth birthday, and I was finally allowed to leave my home waters and explore the world. I came to the shore and met Granis, and he used a magic wand to make me human. And now I am learning everything about the human world from him and his sister."

IdessaIdessa smiled warmly at Granis. "Yes, that too." She spoke to Mogroe again: "I had a happy childhood. Life in the sea was easy, we didn't lack anything and didn't have to work hard for a living. But I wanted to see more of the world. Human legs felt strange at first, but I got used to them. In the sea, I could swim to the deepest of heights, or all the way up to the surface. I still feel weird that I cannot swim up into the sky here."
