He looked at her with a raised eyebrow, "Technically i cant... due to my augments, its hard for me to control them. If i get drunk, my limbs cant fully translate my movements. I tried brushing my teeth before bed but when i gripped the toothbrush, i went to grip, and broke it in half. Went to step out the door and kicked it, denting the door and almost trapping myself in the bathroom. Now normally they can calibrate those settings for those who drink but usually younger people, its hard to calibrate so, yeah. Imagine if i go out drinking, we go to leave, but when i hug them, my arms cant calibrate and use enough strength to break their spine?" He stated as he looked at her, "The bank will probably be the best and getting more shopping done here on earth will probably get you use to tech. As far as jobs and such, the economy has been the best its been in a long time, so you can, it just depends on you taking a few classes and tests." He stated as she would need to take career tests to make sure she had qualifications, "Im an engineer by the way." He explained kindly, "I work with robotics and computers." He explained kindly.

He nodded as he got her to order her drink to go, so it could be made but as she gasped and spoke, he looked at her curiously, "Well I make decent money, considering everything is basically mechnical nowadays. Also, did women in your time not have volume control?" He asked as she had gotten really loud with her exclaimations as they were just in a cafe. He wasnt trying to be rude but he was trying to keep her out of the lime light, and her interest/excitement seemed a bit loud in the quieter cafe. He soon got himself a drink and with drinks in hand, lead her outside as they got in an automated taxi and headed towards the bank, "And to answer your question, im no genius, but I grew up getting more in trouble then i would rather have liked to.

Cody couldn see that she had taken offense to his little joke and sighed in the auto taxi, "Im sorry Kaylee... i apologize for saying that." He said as he shrugged, "And yeah we arent, engineers are a dime a dozen in order to help keep any of the robots, machines or places working in order." He said as he looked at her, "Kaylee, i dont know what else to say, im not a people person as you might figure... I was exploring the ruins for old tech to examine, i never expected to find you and im not good with talking to women or people in general since my accident. So if i say something stupid or insulting, im truly sorry." He said apologizing to her.

They did have conflict, but it was more just that he wasnt a conflicting person. He was socially awkward, he had trouble wanting to talk to people since he was always looked at weirdly since he was highly augmented. He did get defensive a bit himself at times as he got out of the car, but when she spoke he shrugged, "I get that, i just wanted to apologize because it did sound a bit rude when i said it outloud and replayed it in my head." He said as he looked at the bank, "Lets get this settled shall we?" He asked heading inside with her to get her settled.

He heard her and saw her excitement die as she spoke of her parents, but he gently placed a hand on her back supportively, "Im positive they would be proud of you." He said gently, "They would be so happy that you were alive and well, and im sure they never stopped beliving in you." He said positively as he walked with her into the bank. The would go over her finances and get things sorted out as well as getting her set up for things later on. When they finished they would do a bit more clothes shopping but it wasnt long til evening came, and he got a message from his father, "Hey, my dad texted me, he is setting the table and ivited us over for dinner, how about a nice meal?" He asked kindly to her as he figured she would like a homely meal.

He looked at her as she walked out of her room and thought that she looked good but he had over heard what she said, "I know you do... but their is so much to see here, i promise you'll be happy to be here." He said kindly but he knew she would get homesick that was hard because she could never go home, she was stuck here. He went and called an auto taxi and smiled, "Well he lives in an apartment, generally close to the station, he works a lot." He said as they would head over to another apartment building, it wasnt all that different then Cody's but as they got to his father's apartment, they were greated by his father. He wore his street clothes, "Ah, good evening you two, glad you can join me." He stated happily as he let them in, the apartment was a bit more decorated then Cody's and their were more pictures, of his father, what looked like his mother and of a younger, nonrobotic Cody. There were a mix of digital and physical franes in the apartment.

Mr. Carter looked at her, "Thank you very much Kaylee but you can just call me Jack if you would like." He said as Cody lightly laughed at what she grumbled which as she began to look around, he followed a bit but sighed, "Ignore any childish photos of me... I dont need you having any dirt on me." He joked playfully as he thought it over, "I know that everything is a big change but come on, you cant think of yourself as a girl from the past forever." He said softly to her, thinking it over.

Jack looked at the tv as it auto turned on due to being involved with him, a search function he has set up or his son had. He sighed as he walked over to a desk, opening a holo screen as it began to ring before a person appeared, a woman with a head set, "Coastal Cit... oh, Officer Carter, good evening, i believe you wish to speak with Director Smith." She spoke as the screen changed, "Hey Jack, what seems to be the issue?" He asked as Jack looked at him, "Call of your dogs or i will put them in the pound. My son already informed the paparazi that Kaylee is not wanting to be swarmed and your reporter is circling my apartment, which I dont want to state how rude it is to televise a high ranking police officers home to the city. Now unless you wish to be fined for your reporters behavior, i recommend calling them off." He informed as the man nodded, the feed cutting off. The tv then changed, "Breaking news, we interupt this news story with a nother local story..." the news began to go off on other news, and Jack checked as the hover vehicle pulled away. He then procedded to make a report and emailed it to the station and to all news stations that Kaylee is to be contacted first or fines and arrests will be made. He knew that people had the right to report on anyone and anything but this was stalking, harrassment and just plain rude human behavior. He looked at her, "So you hungry?" He asked kindly to the girl.
