This time as they spun together, they sped faster and faster until the very end. When they stopped, he would be on one knee on the ice and she was to lean her forehead against his. Balanced on one blade, her other leg would be bent behind her in a ballet pose while her hands cupped his face. Every other time they had practiced this it had gone perfectly. Today, now, she had something else in mind. When they finished, she smiled and huffed a short laugh before pressing a soft kiss to his lips. WC: 120

RP Response: The movements so fast they almost were blinding it was impossible to distinguish one from the other, they moved in perfect harmony.
Each movement of the blades were carefully planned, each one bringing them one step closer to the judge's table and the finish to their routine. Which happened to be his favorite part, her soft hands cupping his face and her delicate forehead touching hers. He shivered slightly in anticipation.
Spinning then suddenly he dropped to one knee, his hands at his sides awaiting her spin to finish a few seconds after his. Suddenly she was leaning into him, her warm breath on his face, forehead touching his slightly and a bright smile on her face. Her leg balanced perfectly behind her while balancing perfectly on the blade of the other leg. He heard her laugh, it sounded like a intake of air gaining courage to do something.
His eyes locked on hers his control was near it's end. He wanted to kiss her as everyone watched. He wanted to claim her as his and before he could move she kissed him! It was not a long kiss but the softness and sweetness of it could not be denied. He felt her feelings behind that kiss and returned in kind.
Hearing the applause made his blood pump faster, everyone could see she chose him and he was prideful. Not wanting to break their kiss he knew he had to since they were to bow to the judges. Carefully and gently he took her hands and pulled away. "Do not worry my sweet, we must finish our routine and then we can resume kissing. I have waited an eternity for this moment and you chose now to do it? My sweet little dove, how you enrich my life and my heart." with that he softly caressed her cheek before standing up and turning them both to bow to the judges and await their scores.

Meadow was mirroring Aurelia, pushing away from her, rotating his feet the opposite way. He didn't have the same attitude as she did, but his smile only widened. His cheeks were starting to hurt from smiling so much. When they finished their last set of four, Meadow's body went ridged and he froze, holding the pose for a moment, before seeming to 'power down' like a toy with dead batteries. His arms were held in a doll like 'L' shape before he started moving again. His hips moved like water as he rolled his torso back upright. His arms and head moved in ridged motions as he turned, but his legs and body flowed almost like he had no bones as he did a variation of the robot.

RP Response: Powering down; the two of them slumped over as they glided till they began their rigid, robotic motions together. It was a little harder at first for Aurelia to separate the movements of her upper body from her lower but she was doing so much better this time! The rigidity transitioned into a combination of stiffness and flow as she did vogue-like arm poses while her torso and head seemed to only move as if being guided by the arm motions. She straightened her arms and crossed them in front of her, lifting one elbow into an L shape as she leaned to that same side, then the other, then brought both arms up in L shapes with her fingertips pointing down. Immediately she raised them up, still L-shaped with fingers pointing up, pointing them out to one side and then the other as if she was using them to chop the air.

The robotic portion of their dance ended with Meadow and Aurelia's torso's facing each other, their toes pointed forward. They each had an arm raised and braced against the other. Meadow held the pose for a breath before he moved his feet, slowly kicking off and spinning Aurelia slowly just using his momentum to spin her as he skated in a circle around her before moving his other hand to her hip and gave her a little push, sending her away from him, spinning as he followed, sweeping one leg out and dipping towards the ice and reached out to her.

RP Response: Being this close to Meadow felt….weird. It wasn’t a bad weird but it was definitely weird. Still, Aurelia had to focus because this was going to be a tough part. She positioned her feet as Meadow started to spin her, locking eyes with him and nodding when it was time for him to push her away. The push to her hip and she glided into a graceful spin on one skate, leaning back slightly to keep the momentum. When Meadow was close enough and reached for her, she straightened up and put her other foot down to slow her spins enough so she could dip down and take his hands, skating backwards a little. She held that for a moment before straightening and pulling him closer, turning and taking a position beside him so they were gliding together, against each other with an arm extended forward (his on top of hers) and one leg extended back. Her other arm was also extended back while he would have to hold on to her waist while they did this. Why did this make her stomach feel funny?

This was honestly so much fun! Meadow didn't even care if they won anymore. He was skating with his best friend, and that was maybe the best part of this. He was glad he'd asked her to be his partner. Honestly, there wasn't anyone else he could think of who would have done this. He couldn't have asked Vega. Did they even make skates for kirin? His mind was racing as he put his arm around Aurelia as they glided over the ice, his hand atop hers. Yeah, there really wasn't anyone else he'd want to be with right now. That thought made his cheeks flush a little. Their song would be over soon, and while it was disappointing, Meadow was happy things were going so well.

RP Response: Even with the funny feelings, Aurelia was having so much fun with Meadow that she forgot they were skating for others to judge. The nerves she had felt in the beginning had been there for a few reasons but at some point she forgot what they were for as they danced together in what was potentially the most ridiculous display that these judges had seen. It felt like when they were freshlings again, playing together in their own little world without a care for what was going on around them or what others were thinking. The song was heading to the end and she felt…sad. They were having too much fun for it to end! Aurelia looked back over her shoulder at Meadow, turning so he now held her in a dip pose with her hands holding on to his shoulders before she straightened upright. They skated close in a circle, holding each others’ elbows to prepare for their finishing move.

Meadow smiled brightly at Aurelia. It was almost time for their big finale! "Are you ready?" He whispered as he dipped her and stared into her mismatched eyes. He was fascinated by them, honestly. One a vivid blue that matched Aurelia's skin and hair, the other a wild pink. A shocking pop of color that was, frankly, cute. The music was building, time for their dramatic death! Meadow leaned back in the spin as they picked up speed. The way they had planned it, they would do like a Romeo and Juliet pose as they 'died,' and as they laid there, their rainbow costumes would line up to look like a rainbow.
