Noah thought for a moment before he smiled. He remembered being pretty effective when it came to making sure Dea didn’t wear herself out. “I dunno,” he admitted, “I’m rusty. I might have to watch you two in action before getting back into the groove.”
He kissed her cheek. “I think I can still boss you, though.”

"Just remember I can do the same to you, so boss with caution. Though, I have no doubt it will be fine, you will get back into the swing of things. Plus, there are plenty of helping hands,"she smiled.

"I like that," Noah said, giving Dea a smile. "That might be your warning label from now on. 'Boss with caution'." He kissed her cheek. "It'll be fine. I'll adjust, it might just take me a bit."

"That's because I know I am not really easy to boss at all. And no, you take one step at a time. I know it takes long, but it is to make sure you are okay. I love you too much to allow you to get hurt,"she reminded.

It was true, she was't easy to boss. He'd always liked that about her. It wasn't fun to boss someone who was immediately obedient and it was endearing, almost, to hear her argue his point. "I know," he said. "But I hate it all the same." He kissed her cheek.
"You don't have to worry about me getting hurt."

"You can hate it all you want, just know that sometimes it is better to take things slowly. And I will always worry about you getting hurt, Noah, you should know that by now. I just got you back, I am not going to lose you again,"she said firmly.
