He couldn't teleport and he didn't think he could get out of here, or find a mirror, fast enough to get caught. That in mind the blond decided to try his luck, to see if the bond of handling the same issue would help him now. Rather than approach his fellow dark mirror senshi, he felt them nearby, he went right for the General.

"I can't get out of here fast enough...and I can't get to mirrorspace...I'm not strong enough." He knew he could seek out the eternal wandering around but he didn't want to, he didn't like dealing with people much. He didn't want to risk a connection with anyone, and so avoided working with people more than he had to.

"Would it be too much to ask if you could teleport me out?" He asked, hopeful but willing to accept whatever answer he got.

Sailor Hydor

... His mother's doctor.

Hydor knew exactly what that implied, and his blood ran cold. He knew, logically, that the Negaverse had to be in New York, too, if they had such an oppressive presence locally. There was a part of him that had hoped that this ******** was restrained to just this location, that perhaps once he graduated from Destiny City University he could move back to his home and be free, but naturally, it was not.

But that was not the biggest issue, and he knew he was only sidetracking.

If this was his mother's doctor from New York, this was the doctor that had taken care of Hitch's mother when she was ...

Well, s**t.

Part of Hydor truly did not know what to say, and there was a part of him that was still willing to listen to the if you have nothing good to say, do not say anything at all mantra, which stopped him for a second or two as he considered the proper words in his head. Were there any? He glanced up to where the general was shouting about teleporting people out and rolled his eyes, before turning his attention back to the body below them.

"s**t."

He pulled at his collar, almost awkward.

"Maybe he was not involved in this bullshit when he was caring for your mother?"

That was a rare attempt at optimism. Instinct told him otherwise.

"A monster..." The words whispered by his own lips, as they played over and over in his head, he wasn't a monster though. He was just...well a senshi. He wasn't on either side of this war and he never had been, didn't plan to be ever either. Both sides had people who liked and hated him, both sides had people who had tried to kill him.

As he watched the General die, and be powered down rather forcefully, he stood there in shock as he clutched his plushie close. The civilian might not have wanted it but that was ok - he wanted it. He was happy to have his plushie right now in all honesty, because he was not expecting that youma and it had him jumping in surprise. Cursing in Chinese, as no one would know what impolite thing he said, he stepped back and away as he heard sirens.

"Anyone needing an exit I can take them with me." He called out, offering a free bit of transportation, even as he headed back to find those two civilians. They weren't hard to find...they had a walking glowstick with them afterall.

"I can get you out faster if you want?" He offered, slowly, hesitating since the one had called him a monster. "It's too slow to run with the cops on the way." And oh so close.

The General had fallen...and he seemed surprised by it..but why? Did he really think he could take on, and win, against so many of them? That was just impossible, it really was, statistically speaking there was no chance of him winning this fight. So why had he tried? What was he hoping to accomplish?

"Athene?" She called out, looking towards the other. "We better go...he's dead." Though it seemed to not be the only thing, and they weren't alone entirely. There was a youma - a creepy praying mantis like youma. "Athene!" She thought for a moment it might attack them but it didn't, it was perhaps smarter than the General? Either way it was gone and the sound of sirens pierced the air. "We should go..." She whispered as she hurriedly found Athene and grabbed onto his arm. "We should get to a real hospital..." She whispered into his ear. "We need to leave though..."

The fact that a proportion of the Negaverse auras that he'd been picking up on appeared to be also attacking the General that had appeared had been slow to sink in - because why would you attack your own?

But the yelling General made it very clear that yes they were indeed attacking their own - at least some of the agents gathered were attacking their own.

It wasn't just the Negaverse fighting the General though, others were as well, although the yelling General seemed to be at the thick of it.

Athene turned, seeking out Hamal, ignoring his own wounds for now - both the ones that he'd picked up earlier on patrol and the one that the General had inflicted on him, although a part of him couldn't help but wonder whether the General really intended to take on everyone by himself.–

He found Hamal as it was pretty much over, the dark-haired General, seemingly wanting to try and take on all those fighting against him and failing as something dropped to the ground with a clatter.

"Yes" he agreed as he tried to hide a wince, not quite able to hide the way that his voice came out in a hiss "Yes - we should go."

General Stibnite
Tonight had left much to be discussed and answered. Tonight had given up many questions and also an understanding now as to why things had infuriated Leucite before.

Stepping towards the Dark Mirror asking for help, Stibnite placed her hand on his shoulder. "I'll take care of getting you out of here but you are on your own after that. I have other...matters to see to."

Glancing back towards Leucite, she gave him a nod saying they would regroup later before she teleported out with the Dark Mirror.

Squire Emrys of Neptune

Something icy was curling in the pit of his stomach; something unpleasant, twisting in his gut. Emrys heard the words that's my mom's doctor as though from far away, a terrible, awful sensation growing up from his chest into his throat.

He opened his mouth, and then shut it again, casting a look at Hydor, the panic rising, his eyes wide and alarmed. The cold feeling was growing now, reaching down his limbs and making his heart beat a little faster, made his pulse skitter and jump, even as Hydor tried to diffuse the situation, tried - vainly, Emrys thought -to turn it into something it wasn't.

No.

No.

Emrys swallowed. He wanted to take Hitch's hand, but didn't.

"Let's get out of here," he said again, and this time he began walking. "Logan - H-Hydor, let's go - "

Pendour

It was true that now it was easier to see. Her one eye had adjusted to the flickering of darkness and phone flashlights, so she saw the flashes of shapes behind the opening doors. She could see with whatever part of her was responsible for auras, too. She didn't think it was what people referred to as the third eye. It was something deeper, something in the back of her that was either warm and lovely or dark as dark and screaming about broken things.

So she could see, and when the doctor finally came out, she could feel the Chaos dripping out of his robe like something rotten. She could see the eyepatch too, a grim mirror of what she and that other man were experiencing. But that was information that she did not know what to do with, pressed against the wall in the shadows like she was. She would not trust him, surely. Still, while she stayed and stood there and watched and waited, the others did not seem to have nearly the same amount of trouble making their decisions.

They were angry. They were warriors, maybe, or felt like it, bought into what they had been told. When they approached the man, started hitting him, brought him down, she did nothing to stop them. In the end, he was bloody and dead on the floor. Maybe. She did not look too closely. With the knot in her stomach worsening, she did not want to know for sure. Maybe that was weakness, too.

Either way, there was still so much more to be done. People were slumped on the floor, and she heard sirens and people coming in the distance. It did not help the trembling in her fingers, in her knees. It did not help the stinging in her ruined eye. She'd wanted out. The way was open, now.

She swallowed hard and saw one thing she could do to help as the others left. She scooped up one of the unconscious civilians and ran at full breakneck speed towards the door.

Hitch felt cold, a chill curling around and inside of him that had nothing to do with the temperature or the loss of blood. But maybe Hydor was right, he tried to ration. The situation then... it had been years ago. A lifetime ago, practically. Two years of being a senshi had felt like an eternity to him.

He’d seen his mother’s body, small and lifeless, a shell of what it’d been in life. He remembered the last time he’d seen her alive, eyes blazing hot enough to warm the rest of her broken body as she snapped at him to stop wasting his time on her. To stop looking at her with pity, something he’d never done - but she was so proud, and then so ashamed of what Hitch had to do to take care of her as her body failed too soon.

He’d gone for coffee and a smoke. By the time he’d come back, she was already...

The doctor had been sympathetic. Warm. ‘We’ll take care of her, ‘ he promised. It was too much for a man so young to endure on his own. He’d taken Hitch’s hand into his own, squeezing warmly. It would be the warmth touch he’d know for months to come, the last bit of kindness afforded to him by anyone before Tolliver changed his life. There were too many expenses, all pomp and circumstance that could be avoided with the help of the practice.

Of the center.

He said nothing as they left. But this time, he was the one to grab for his husband’s hand, clumsily, half out of exhaustion and half because he misjudged the distance.

Sailor Hydor

"Agreed," grunted Hydor.

This place was a ******** mess, he heard sirens in the distance, there was a dead doctor on the ground that absolutely should not have been there, and Hitch's eye (or lack thereof) still needed addressing. Hell, his arm still needed addressing, though he was fairly sure whatever had been sliced open earlier would heal fine on its own at this point. He would deal with the scarring. He was done with the concept of letting himself be cared for in a hospital this evening.

Perhaps, so was Hitch, but an open wound like that was just asking for some kind of ******** up infection--

Hydor followed after, ready to get out of this place.

Richtersveld Page of Pluto

With the decreasing pressure of the chaotic auras around her, Richtersveld felt like she could more easily breathe again. She took a couple deep breaths. Maybe she wasn't helpless. Maybe there was something she could do; someone she could help. Someone she could help who wasn't a dead doctor lying on the floor--

She couldn't make herself look in that direction--

Richtersveld noticed that there were a few unconscious civilians pressed near a wall, and that was where she decided she could be the most useful. It was too bad she did not have her first aid kit on her, but this was, in theory, a hospital. There were a few things lying around that she was able to pluck up, and she used those things to make sure the unconscious civilians were stable. She heard the sirens, knew that perhaps for her own sake she should be leaving, but that was not what she was there for.

Richtersveld remained until she was certain the unconscious ones were safe.

Chibi Super Sailor Oort

Things had seemed to happen quickly after that - had happened too quickly for him to come up with anything - much less a plan on what to do with the sword guy–

And whilst it was clear that he wouldn't be needed as everyone else seemed to be doing perfectly okay on their own, Oort couldn't help but wonder why some of the Negaverse officers there appeared to be attacking the sword guy - because the sword guy was a Negaverse officer too - well at least he certainly felt like one.

And then suddenly it was all over, Mr Sword guy crumpling to the ground and the roaring man who had been telling the Negaverse officers to fight was snatching something up off the ground.

There was a soft click as the door opened and a movement of–

Of something, but Oort could also hear sirens and the sirens were super loud - and well his side hurt and he really didn't want to be here anymore.

He glanced at Skadi, "We should go" he said "Before the sirens get here," because he knew that the sirens catching them would be bad "But if you still want to get checked out then maybe we should just stop by the hospital or something." Because at least it would be a proper medical place rather than this - whatever the Negaverse had been doing with this place–

An whilst Oort would leave it for Skadi to decide, he couldn't help but think that the sooner that they left this place would be the better.

Squire Emrys of Neptune

His chest felt tight. He didn't know what else to say, or do, or anything.

As Hitch groped for his hand, Emrys' fingers curled around his husband's instinctively; a single familiar thing in this terrible, terrible place, a life raft in an otherwise stormy sea. He still wasn't sure what had happened - what they were now supposed to do - but he was getting the hell out of here with the others.

As they turned down a side hallway, hands still clutched together, there was movement down near the end; the tall, gaping figure of - someone - stood at the end, head turning towards the trio as they ran, smoke gushing from dried limbs.

Its mouth moved in the shape of a word.

"Logan."

General Leucite

Having offered to be the ride "home" of any Lieutenant that remained behind in the chaos, Leucite held off teleporting out for as long as he could. But once the Sirens reached the level of volume that made him feel they were right outside, he gathered up any he'd managed to gather and teleported to the safety of Negaspace - it was the least he could do.
