Eyzaak was pretty damn sure snowmobiles were one of the coolest ******** things ever. Seriously, what was there not to like? They let you zip over snow, and were namely FAST in an otherwise harsh environment that was a pain in the a** to wade around in if it wasn't compacted. Considering this was also one of his favorite booths, he rushed over to get his chance to show off.
If Private Berboa wanted to see carnage and chaos..then CLEARLY this titanium along with some dynamite armor was the right way to go. Eyzaak hastily put his contraption together, the snowmobile wasn't exactly...fast. Everything SEEMED okay until he got going. It was a little disappointing to not even really finish, but oh well. It was fun for what it was he supposed. Pouting Eyzaak threw his hands up in the air in disgust. "OH COME ON!" He roared with dismay.

HELLO AND THANK YOU PLEASE WAIT FOR ROLLOVER BEFORE YOU CONTINUE POSTING!
Leeroi was shaken by the last two nights, but not easily deterred. There was especially nothing frightening to him about a little ice. Not this Busthind boy, no sir.
He got his hands on that sweet stuffed toy once again, feeling like a charming hero as he finished his rescue and exited the course. He was even more delighted to be taking home another Ginnie— or maybe he could find a way to gift the extra?
Psykgi could actually swim. She lived on the coast, for glob's sake, and she often swam in the public pool in the mal. But diving into icy water was not on the menu.
No, she just fell into it. ******** ice.
Swimming was fine, she thought she could make it, even in the freezing water. However, she saw, some a*****e had put fans in the water. electric fans.
By the time Psykgi managed to struggle her way out of the water and perform the "rescue" her unruly hair was somehow both wet and frizzed, and she was far from happy.
Acteon wasn't a heavy girl, and with all the ice water they looked to the chunks of ice. It didn't look super unsteady... and when they walked on it, they didn't have any trouble! It was like there was practically a bridge to Corp. Ginnie. An easy win~
They clutched the plushie proudly to their chest. A hero.
The ice cracks beneath your feet in the most dramatic of fashions, but you read the situation like a strategical champ and avoid every spot that looks too dangerous. Still, some part of you catches one of the Ice Sharks and it sets off a chain reaction, but aside from ice floes flipping over in terrifying fashion you manage to stay upright and dry (save for a few stray splashes). Hey! It just adds to the drama. Reaching Corporal Ginnie is otherwise a breeze and you sweep her off her feet and out of this awful place before she can blink.
Water....... This.. this was not a good course. Dei had no idea how to swim. Never learned as a small child, didn't really want to learn now. And of course to top it all off, it was freezing water. How did they even manage to pull this one off? He breathed in deeply, momentarily closing his eyes as he steeled himself for the icy, watery path ahead. He could do this. He could... manage to rescue a guinea plushie from a terrible icy demise and not drown. Totally possible.
He started off, keeping a close eye on where the ice looked like it might snap - though despite his best efforts he still managed to snag one of those stupid ice sharks. Seriously?! Ice sharks?! Forget careful movement- he ended up hopping from floe to floe as they flopped over from the force of the sharks exploding until he eventually made it to guinea.
That was easily the second most terrifying thing he'd ever done. Holy s**t.
Walking across the ice almost feels like walking on solid ground. Honestly, why is everyone else having so much trouble? There's practically a bridge leading right to the end. You step right up to Corporal Ginnie and take her home.
Mihail was no stranger to water, after all his lusus was an alligator. Plenty of water in his life. He was much less versed in icy water, though. It seemed like a lot of other trolls were having trouble making it to Ginnie, so he was prepared for the worst, but the worst never came? Perhaps it was because he was so light in comparison to the older trolls...
Either way, he practically skated across and retrieved the plush. Finally, he succeeded without any ridiculous antics.

Tsarzi's expression remained unflappable as ever, but that did not preclude her from feeling frustration and some ill will towards these frozen beach balls. If she had her knives on her she'd have started popping the things. They were in the way and far too cumbersome, there merely to send trolls into the ice depths and keep them there as long as possible. there was no satisfaction or pay off in sinking fingers into the rubbery exterior or smacking them away. It did nothing.
After the first explosion following her descent into watery depths, there came some real pressure to move to not get caught in one.
Tsarzi made a mental note to get more practice in swimming.
Static loating around the pool are huge beach balls with fins tied to them. They're ice sharks, of course. You accidentally bump into one going from floe to floe and it knocks you right into the water. As you're bomped between them all, it's difficult to fight your way back to the ice. As if that wasn't bad enough, some of them are apparently rigged to explode a few seconds after contact. Whoops! You manage eventually and get to Corporal Ginnie nonetheless, but the sharks are still lurking around, ever hungry...

Static thought they were cute. I mean, fins attached to beach balls? It was adorable. Static could see it, Sarcle and Nahori getting ready for their booth by just, decorating beach balls. It made him snicker. When one exploded tho, it was a lot less cute. More terrifying and "holy cow why would they even". He saw Scorpa navigating the icy water herself, and nudged one of the vicious sharks over her way. It would be funny to see her fall in, just like long ago in the pig pen. Static had to struggle to keep Corporal Ginnie dry, he was not going to let her little paws get wet.

"Oh this looks hella fun!" Scorpa grinned at the current challenge. She was an adrenaline junkie and loved these kinds of daredevil stunts. It would've felt better in summer, she was sure, but the yellowblood refused to let the ice water scare her. She'd endured much colder before. Flydra's hand, for instance.
"Yahoooooo!" The lieutenant whooped as it was her turn to jump and plummet below. She braced herself for the sudden cold and gasped as it shocked her system. Her muscles froze up and for a moment Scorpa couldn't breath. Her survival instinct kicked in, thankfully, and overwrote her overloaded circuits. As the beach balls around her obscured her path and vision, she struggled to navigate them. Then one exploded.
"SARCE YOU-" Thankfully the explosions censored the following kid unfriendly screaming.
"Am I alive?" The yellowblood's body floated back to shore with Corporal Ginnie wearily.

Standing at the edge of the gorge, Kerras stared down into the waters below. The corporal perched on a precarious lip of eyes, danger lapping at her from every side. The ice floes around her drifted about in a slow merry-go-round of death. Kerras clenched their fists at their sides. Their cloak fluttered about them in a razor-like wind. The air was cold, but the water would be colder. Caution was critical to ensure Corporal Ginnie's extraction. They took a teeth breath.
"Yaaah!" Kerras jumped.
Into the ravine.
More specifically into the merry-go-round ice water below.
They hit the surface of the water like a ton of bricks, and the cold hit their lungs like a passenger aircraft delivering them to Pluto. Kerras bobbed below the ice for a moment, frozen with shock and sub-zero temperatures. Then, they popped back up again, gasping for air in short staccato breaths. Clenching their teeth to steady their breathing, they began to paddle towards Corporal Ginnie, filled with determination. They had failed previous nights, but they could not, would not fail again!
Thirty seconds later, the tealblood slipped back beneath ice, one hand fiercely clawing for the Corporal.

Kursha took one look at the frozen hellscape below, and immediately doubled back. Yeah. Not happening. Everyone else could jump in and risk frostbite over some stupid plush if they wanted, but he had more than enough near-death experiences on his record already. He knew better. Sitting down by the ledge, the greenblood watched as the others struggled to make progress, or not drown for that matter. After a few minutes, a boom and a nearby flash of light caught his lookstub.
He looked over just in time to see a young blueblood go flying, and the tattered remains of a beach ball drift down into the water. It only took a moment for pieces to slide into place. Suddenly, Kursha scrambled down the ravine, just slow enough to avoid slipping into the water. As he reached the edge of the ice, he glanced around. Where were those... aha!
With the greatest of care, the greenblood leaned out and lifted a finned beach ball from the water.* As he did, he felt something roll around the bottom of the ball. "Sarcel, you sly b***h..." Kursha muttered with a grin. He glanced towards where the corporal waited in the middle of the pool. Then he looked back at the ball, and shrugged.
Kursha drew back his arm and hurled the ball towards the plush. There was more than one way to catch a fish.
"A water rescue?" Flydra wasn't so sure about this. It looked freezing cold in there. This seemed like it was going to be a very unpleasant game this time around. But the Civisect Sirens could not possibly back down from a challenge, especially one from Sarcel Cincil herself. Anything the blueblood could do, they wanted to be able to follow.
The tealblood grabbed hold of the rope and started to lower herself down. She wasn't afraid of heights but she was uncertain what was making so much movement in the water. Had they actually put animals in the water to bite at the competitors? As she pondered this, her grip slipped and she let out a shrill shriek before plummeting into the icy waters below.
"Kyaaaa! Nooo!" The cold sent a shock through her body that woke her up but ultimately caused her to lock up for a moment and bob below the surface. When she came up for air, Flydra was the spitting image of a drowned rat. Biting back tears from the intense sting of the cold, she paddled her way to the target to complete the rescue.
"Ngh... so cold..." She had seen signs for that coffee shop earlier. Maybe that was just what she needed to put some warmth back in her bones after this. The Nightly Grind was a place she'd been meaning to check out for a while now.
