__ Just the same as when the challenge was posed before, Sandayu felt a little bit of eagerness respark within him. 'Good.' It was his only thought in regards to meeting Belamos on the battlefield. He continue with his prattling. The man's words did not fall on deaf ears; however, those words could not reach him in the state which they were composed. His hands clenched into tense fists as he needlessly offered forgiveness to his brother, and for misunderstanding Masato's own strength of will and the destiny he sought for himself. As the final lecturing phrase was breathed he released his fists again. "Your faith in me is misplaced, Belamos. My greatness- the greatness I seek for myself is not for others to compare to." His hand reached out toward the sea, directed sharply to the northeast where the Land of Floods was from here, "I know my path, and it lies beyond the destruction of that village." That same hand pointed back at Masato, "He too walks his own path toward his own destiny." Sandayu wouldn't vocalize his suspicion that Masato's destiny could be in conflict with his own. Deep down, he almost hoped that was to be true. Likewise, he accepted and hoped that Belamos would test his path to destiny in the future.
His arm finally came back to rest at his side again and he frowned, "I may be young, but I am not a fool. I know what will come of the violence I threaten against Arashigakure, and even the rest of the world. The very existence of shinobi is conflict. Conflict invites further conflict. I am now what they made me, yet... so much more than they could have expected." Sandayu's frown developed into a scowl and his feet slid closer together as he stood more at attention. "I do not know who Utu is, but you are both mistaken to believe that there is such thing as balance in life and death." A small surge of chakra flowed through him as he called forth one spirit from the Pure Realm and it quickly multiplied into many who hovered over the passing crests of the sea not far offshore. These were the culled souls of his clan. "Tengakure will not be satisfied with peace!" The spirits roared in dark chorus to this declaration. "My clan will not be satisfied with justice!" Again, they cried out in ominous cheer against Belamos. "Without me, they will not rest in the Pure Realm. They will not know this oh so important peace that is deserved only for the dead." With a wave of his hand the small army of spirits vanished just as suddenly as they appeared. "Save whatever is left of your family, Belamos. Save your people too. Know that if they remain in Arashigakure then they will not be guaranteed safety. Or..." he sighed, "... you can try to fight my destiny. You can try to prepare them for a vast destruction beyond mortal comprehension. Destruction I know you're capable of, and that I know you know I am capable of." Belamos could surely sense a difference in stature from how he was since their first meeting. Overconfidence of and foolishness guided him before, but there was so much different to the way he carried himself now. It was just... confidence. Absolution reinforced his passion and increased his strength of will with every day that passed since hearing of Tengakure's annihilation. That strength of will led him to gain greater and greater power. With that power, he would attain the victory of his completed goals at all costs. This was his destiny.

A twinge of anger flowed through him- annoyance at the one-track-mindedness of the boy. His belief in destiny was quite contradictory to his own. Sandayu seemed to believe that his life was like a cart on rails. It was his goal to destroy The Storm and nothing could dissuade him otherwise. Belamos was beginning to disparage that there was anything he could do, or say, to turn him from this path. Regardless he would continue to persist until he felt it was futile. As Sandayu's dead relative wailed around, Belamos extended his arms outwards in reference to those very souls "And do you wish to see this grow to even greater magnitudes? You will become the very injustice you seek to destroy but to someone else. Your clan is gone! Do not sully their memory by turning into the thing that caused their annihilation." A flash of fire flared up around Belamos's feet as his emotions rose even higher, a decidedly quicker cadence being picked up in his tone "Power is not measured in your ability to wage war, Sandayu, but rather your ability to keep the peace. Your beliefs in destiny are as misguided as your attempts to control it" He said, dropping his attempts to play softball with a man who seemed to deal only in absolutes "The tragedy is that by the time you realize it, it will be too late. When you march on my home you will find a force to stop you- to beat you. Your destruction will be turned inward and you will know defeat" A bit of the old Belamos seeping out, the tiny blades of grass nearby alighting from the aura he exuded "You see yourself as a god, master of death and destruction, yet I, spawn of the Sun God Utu, still see the folly in that line of thought" He grinned, the irony not lost on him "Fine, Sandayu. I will acknowledge your deity. When we fight it will not be a battle of men, but a Battle of the Gods." His emotions, his love for his daughter would lead him to victory. He would preserve peace and usher in a new era of harmony. He would preserve the balance of the world. This was his destiny.

__ Sandayu felt a quiver flow through him as he briefly gained a slight rise out of Belamos. His commotion about increasing the strife in the world, the "injustice" that he would become out of hypocrisy, and the sullying of the memory of his clan and village. He preached about the worth of power in perfect contrast to the lessons he had just finished teaching Masato prior to his arrival and warned him of an inevitable defeat. Finally, Belamos acknowledged Sanda as a deity while proclaiming his own divine heritage. "Reckless pride... limbed by self-righteousness; Belamos, you are the master of nothing." Sandayu just felt his excited quivering grow into a chuckle which he failed to withhold for a moment, "What do I want?" That was what Belamos asked him when he arrived. "I told you. I do not seek justice, only vengeance. Justice is meek and as much a lie as the notion of peace. Without conflict, everyone and everything would suffer in wallowing stagnation until they returned to the nothingness where they came!" These were the teachings of his adoptive mother, Yagura Genburyuichirousuke, and the fact that he outlived them all proved that the Iga Code sustained him far better than they. "Do not lecture me about the worth of power! Clearly I understand it far better than you." The increasing heat didn't stop him from welcoming the conflict he sought in the first place, "I look forward to our battle, Belamos. I am Sandayu Genburyuichirousuke- son of Evergreen, Goddess of the Creation, Queen of the Cosmos, and Mother of Maternity Itself." He bowed his head once more in respect for his enemy before adding as he raised it again, "I only hope you do your absolute best, for your remaining family and people's sakes. Unlike you, we all have far less to lose." Sandayu wasn't typically one to give more information away than necessary, especially to enemies, but hopefully Belamos would notice his word choice in this final warning. It was even more exciting for him to know that Belamos was also born of a god. Now he was inclined to research this Utu figure to better understand Belamos. From the sounds of it, though, Utu fell a little lower on the immortal hierarchy compared to Evergreen.

A part of him, and not an insignificant part, was actually excited by the coming battle. It had been a while since he had fought a worthy opponent and this boy was anything if not that. His views on the world, however, betrayed that strength and twisted it into something vile. A force for evil- something to be burned away. Belamos ignored the ramblings of the godly sociopath- for that is what he now deemed him as- and instead focused on the foregone conclusion that their battle was inevitable. He would begin walking backward, his arms outstretched as he talks "For you are the wicked thorn that chokes the garden and prevents the growth of beauty anew, and I am the cleansing fire" He stopped now, smirking at Sandayu as a bit of his old cockiness seemed to resurface "You have nothing to lose, and nothing to fight for. And that is why you won't win" The choice of words Sandayu used was noted by Belamos, but he did not give him any sign of it. With his parting words he vanished just as he came, a flash of light followed by blistering heat. In a moment Belamos was miles away
Just as he would move to continue his lesson, a presence would make itself known. The flash of brief light would illuminate the location of his arrival. The figure was familiar. His reddish pink hair and gruff face were instantly recognized by Masato as the Belamos character that he had encounted at the gates of Arashigakure. Once again, he was faced with the reality of what had happened. As the man observed the two brothers, he realized their relation no doubt. They were so identical to one another it was uncanny. Sandayu would waste no time moving into business. Just what Masato would expect of his brother. Masato narrowed his eyes, realizing that his brother was feigning concern of his adversaries family. Even Masato had realized his brother's lack of concern over life and death. Killing the lot of them wouldn't weigh on his conscience. This was a formality.
As Belamos tried to pin the death of his wife upon Masato, who, thanks to the sensory abilities of Zhi at the time knew that there was no casualty equivalent to what he spoke of, wondered if the man had confused the Rokubi with his own attack. But...surprisingly. The man would do something outside of Masato's expectation. "But it doesn't have to be this way...you haven't done anything that cannot be undone...neither of you have. You can feel the emotion of pain, the loss, and not be consumed by vengeance. Peace can exist" The words he spoke struck a chord with Masato deep within. Pain of loss. Peace could exist. The actions taken could be undone. It was exactly what his brother told him was impossible. Masato grited his teeth with closed lips, tensing his body as he recited what he knew of Sanda's code. ' Peace is a lie ' he thought to himself, convincing himself that this man was not truly forgiving. Still, the man spoke, seeing the truth of the situation that he had reacted so rashly to. In his attempt at compromise, he would forgive Masato. The man who believed he had a hand in his wife's death...forgave him. His brother would quickly return with his own banter, claiming Masato's destiny to be his own as well.
All these things taken in, Masato buried his doubt, placing his passions ahead of his remorse and hopes of what he didn't believe would ever come to pass. He would await quietly as Belamos and Sandayu clearly made their desires and intentions clear. In a flash of light, the man would vanish. Masato would sigh, rubbing his neck as though it were pained from strenuous use. " Ya know. He talks a lot but doesn't have much to say." He thought aloud, having heard Belamos circle around his same ideas for some time about his desires for peace. He paused, looking to the skies toward the land of floods. " The longer they have to plan once he's back... the longer they'll endure a battle." Masato's thoughts lied on the clarity of the oncoming fight at hand.

This temperature may be sustained for six posts before it is released harmlessly around the user. _β [ Null Rank ] Kaimon [ Gate of Opening ] ____β Once the user has trained to access the first gate, they may begin training in the first "move" within the Eight Celestial Gates formation. The effects of the first gate itself are not all that extreme in that they provide the user with a moderate increase to their strength, speed, and reflexes. Once the effects of the first gate wear off the user experiences moderate pain from hyper activation of the sympathetic nervous system. This pain forces them to lose 1 activation due to the pain. _β [ B Rank ] Shotgun Fist ____β The user flows chakra into their fist, allowing it to form a dense orb around the fist. Shifting with all of their weight and power the user throws a punch, allowing 6 of these fist-sized chakra orbs to fly off like projectiles. Due to the lack of mass to the chakra orbs, they fly at a greatly increased speed, roughly 3x the speed of the user's punch impacting at the strength of a twice the user's punch. These orbs can travel thirty meters before dissipating. Due to the versatility of strike, the user can impact one person with multiple targets, or impact up to three people so long as their are in one direction from the user.

__ The last two phrases spoken by Belamos affirmed why they would likely never see eye to eye. He did not prevent growth, he facilitated the growth of the strong and gave the weak new reason to aspire for more than they were which made them so. He did in fact have plenty to fight for despite having nothing to lose; it was because of what he had lost that he had so much room in his life to seek and gain more. 'This isn't some third-rate theatrical drama, Belamos. You'll learn that soon enough when I crush all that stands before me without hesitation.' He was already gone as he finished this thought, then Masato expressed what he also felt. "He had better not underestimate me, because I will not hold back against him." Sandayu still felt that his battle was Belamos was secondary to the destruction of Arashigakure, but he was certain he'd enjoy that fight all the same. "Battle of the Gods... fheh." Sanda mumbled and briefly laughed at the title of such an event.
Sandayu looked back to his brother once Belamos was no longer in range of his Byakuan to detect and ask, "Was that your only impression of that... debate of ideologies?" He paused very momentarily and added, "Through power, I gain victory!" There was a lingering tone of excitement in reciting the last line of the Iga Code. It was deserving of a battle cry, after all. "There will always be obstacles, brother. From small and insignificant to massive and impossible- not to mention all of the unexpected or unforeseen obstacles in between. What kind of victory do you seek with the power you desire, and what would you be willing to do or sacrifice to attain it?" One's desired victory had the best of chances the more relevant it was to one's passion. The code was deeply intertwined even just throughout itself. Simple as it appeared on the surface, it had unfathomable depths for some of those who adhered to it. Such depth and scope largely depended on what one desired to achieve. Sandayu was curious to know the extent his brother's goals.

Shaking his head side to side, Masato spoke in response to Sandayu's question of his take away. " His lacks passion." Masato said plainly. " Would someone who values their loved one turn a blind eye to them being taken so violently." At least, thats what Sanda's code would indicate. Masato was somewhat uncertain. He knew the man lacked the conviction to carry out his vengeance...but at the same time he had shown as strength of will. The same strength of will he felt he established when refusing to fight him and the remaining Arashigakure ninja when he could have easily bested the lot of them.
As his brother moved on to the final mantra of the code, Masato focused upon it's meaning. The obstacles he had overcome thus far were large, personally speaking at least. His trials were of the heart and mind now as his physical trials had become less and less challenging. His brother spoke of unexpected and unforeseen losses. He couldn't help but wonder what losses were unseen to he who possessed all sight. He dismissed the thought, honing back on his answer. " My victory is over myself, over my weaknesses." He let his answer soak in before speaking again. " No one may stand above me under the sun. My victory is power over all things so that no persons will is stronger than mine." His eyes full of resolve to become the strongest, uncontested strength. A pillar of wrath to those who would move against him and what he valued.

__ Masato observed a lack of passion. Sandayu was curious about that since Belamos seemed quite passionate considering how much it took for him to finally give up on turning him to this meaningless path of peace. "I'd say his passion was... misdirected, if nothing else. You aren't wrong though." Sanda fell silent again to let Masato speak on the Code's final verse. This was nothing for him to correct. This line was defined solely by the individual and was often unique to that one person too. There was nothing incorrect or unexpected in a simple man like Masato seeking a simple achievement like becoming the most powerful with an uncontested strength of will. It raised a few flags of consideration for how to proceed, but overall... things were going as he expected. "Very good, brother, such a victory ensures that you will always have to seek greater heights for there will always be a greater challenge for you to prove your superiority." Sanda's praise was mixed with a subtle warning that he must never be lax about his personal progression if he was to guarantee his position in the world as the strongest above all.
Sandayu felt a strange urge grow within him. After dealing with so much disconnection with Belamos, he felt it pertinent to try to properly express himself to someone he cared about. Kagami would certainly have her chance to hear his thoughts later, and he didn't think Masato would be a terrible person to confide in now. "My victory, Masato, is farther beyond the destruction of Arashigakure. If I am to be totally honest, destroying that village and taking the live of their people is simply to clear my mind of that matter. I do not care if that incites further violence back against me or those near me." He paused, thinking back to what he truly wanted most. He wanted a place to belong- a place where he wanted to belong, more specifically. His new home would have be be prepared to weather the chaos that he thrived in, and those that joined him would have to be willing and able to thrive in that chaos too. "I will create my own nation to live in. I cannot commit myself to a nation that has flawed histories, ideals, or leadership. Since the great nations have dwindled to just this last two since the last war, I have few options but to make one of my own." Sandayu turned away from the see to peer into the Land of Fire laid out before him. "I'll take whatever I need or that I want. If helping Kagami tear apart these last two nations helps even a little to make it happen, then so be it." Honestly, he wasn't impartial to the idea of taking these abandoned war-torn lands for himself. This passion of his was relatively recent, as he hadn't thought much about other nations while in the company of his migrant village. Now he had none of that, or anyone left from it, so he found his humanity in desiring to fill that void with something new yet still familiar. He just continued staring out in the the word spread out before him, ripe for the taking. Masato could comment on this or ask about what they were going to do next. Either way was fine with Sandayu.

His brother spoke once more, this time, his words carried a genuine air. Masato's eyes lingered upon Sanda's as he spoke of his personal victory. He expressed a desire beyond destruction of his adversary. His lack of concern for the backlash it brought didn't surprise Masato. It was easy to see that the troubles of mortality were beneath him. His brother's desire was one he could undertand. He wanted a home. He paused for a moment, letting his brother speak of doing whatever was nessesary to attain this village. Masato would understand more than Sandayu would most likely expect. " Tengakure...was nomadic, yes?" he started, confirming what he believed to be true. He sighed, knowing the answer. " Creating a nation, a home. I can understand that feeling. After Sunagakure was destroyed by UHV, I wandered the world for five years." He reflected back upon the time that had passed. It was rare he spoke of his time then. " I couldn't connect to another village for so long after losing my home. A home I struggled to belong in at first but...earned my place at their side. But...it wasn't the walls that brought me into village life again." he paused, turning out to face the sea, outward toward the whirlpool village that lied far beyond sight. " It was the bond with the people there. I don't think making a village is going to be...enough. Having those walls doesn't make a home by itself." He turned back to Sandayu, placing his hand on his shoulder and offering a faint smile. " The few people I have met here who you have surrounded yourself with are who make your village. I will stand by you, and them to make whatever place you claim your home, brother."

__ Sandayu nodded at Masato's question about Tengakure being nomadic. His eyes remained forward as though looking into a future not yet brought to reality while listening to his older brother speak of the last five years and then some about his life. There were no fancy light release holograms to illustrate it. That wasn't actually necessary here. Masato was far simpler, and because of that far easier to relate to. Masato lived in the world by himself for that long. Honestly, even Sanda had to admit that he'd lose his mind if he didn't have anyone to lean against in all that time. He knew he wasn't much for socializing or very charismatic for that matter due to his bluntness and over-commitment to his goals; even so, companionship was something he couldn't entirely go without. That was why the loss of his village was so painful to him, now that he thought about it.
The younger brother's eyes were drawn from an empty image of a undefined home made for himself. That was all it was. Empty... and only for himself. Surprised to great effect, Sandayu looked to his brother with... a renewed perspective. Sanda raised a hand for his chin to rest in as he mumbled a thought aloud, "Bonds... huh?" Masato reassured him that he was willing to help Sandayu make a home for not just them but also everyone else that seemed to be joining under Kagami's banner. Maybe... it was time for him to stop acting so apart from everything and try to earn new bonds with those people so that the ones lost with his people before were not so painfully missed. "Hmph... you're such a softie for a guy who wants to be stronger than everyone else. Though, I guess that makes you pretty interesting too, Masato." He felt a rather genuine smile of appreciation settle into his facial expression and he looked out at the Land of Fire once more. His vision was quickly redeveloped into one that welcomed the many other faces he noted hanging around the Institute before they went to show Kagami her growing army.

__ Sandayu had considered another test of aptitude for Masato after teaching him the Iga Code. However, right now he felt like it wouldn't be a terrible idea to take a break. Masato already had a chance to physically and mentally test himself by this point. "Yes, you're right about that." Not only were there many interpretations and means to display power, but there were also a countless number of forms it could take. "Let's call it good for today. Meditate on the Code in the meantime while you go about your business and I'll come get you when it is time for the next part of your training." A new Yomotsu Hirasaka gateway opened up before the two of them and Sandayu headed through first. They'd be exiting into the same office he brought Masato to when they first arrived at the Institute. They'd find themselves in the company of Kagami's clone entertaining the audiences of a few others too.

Having finally made the long journey to the outskirts of the land of fire, the young girl would find her way to the coast and look out over the water. She felt as if something were out of place. She felt like she should have stayed in the village. But just as all bad feelings come, they also disappear at the same pace. She adjusted her jacket and pulled it tightly around her shoulders.
Kneeling down, she'd check all of her gear to make sure it was as accurately secured as her coat and then return her gaze to the sea. I just need to stay hidden for the time being and wait. They might arrive sooner than expected. It was a simple task given to her. She wasn't a new ninja, but she was in terms of the particular village. She had been given an assignment to monitor the ocean for threats and secure the beach's position if any were to arrive. She didn't know if any would actually show up, but she wouldn't put herself in any position to go against her orders.
Waiting had paid off, even if just somewhat, as a small group of people came towards the coast hopping through tree branches. They would stop short of the beach's sand, at the tree line, and wait themselves. Though they would end up doing the same as the young girl, they did not try to conceal themselves at all. For a while longer she would observe their behavior and their conversation until she was convinced that they were in fact a part of the current situation she was here for.
It wouldn't take long for her to discover that they were involved as they so easily gave themselves away with conversation. She didn't mind it at all. Seeing as how there should have been no one out this far into the land of fire, it made sense for them to reaffirm their plan of action with one another before the reinforcements showed up at the beach.
As for the young girl, she would take a moment to check her gear, once more, mentally, in order to prep herself for a quick and silent skirmish. She couldn't risk one of them having a technique to give off her position to any others. There were three combatants and she was alone, but with the element of surprise, she could hopefully take them down without much issue.
Slowly, the young girl would slide kunai and shuriken from her pouches and gently lift herself off of the ground. She poised herself for a strike and waited another moment to collect her next actions. As she launched the shuriken with full strength, she would throw the kunai in a different angle as the wires gleamed with the light breaking through the trees. The shuriken would impale two of the combatants in the neck, taking them down, but the kunai would fly passed the third and hit the ground. As she pulled on the wire with her left hand, they would pull together and hold the last man in place and drop down below the bushes once again. Wrapping the wires around another kunai and plunging it into the ground, she would jump out of the bushes and tie up the man's mouth so he could not shout.
Still tied up, she would take all his gear from him and proceed to set traps using the living and the dead for whatever means would come next.

In the amount of time it had been by this point, the young girl had to take the time to give the man water and bury the bodies of the other two due to the smell. She'd learn from this failure and capture all of her enemies, if she could. For the remaining time, however, she had learning new ways to use her current techniques and learning stronger ones to fill her time until something else happened.
As the young girl had originally made her way to the initial location, she had concealed herself with a unique technique that was designed purely for stealth purposes. It was during those movements that the technique allowed her to travel unnoticed by keeping herself hidden while progressing. Even maintaining her quiet nature and stable position in the bushes kept her hidden from those that entered into the area. There was a time where she had been taught to concentrate chakra around her hand that actually allowed her to absorb chakra. It was a unique technique that she had never seen used before, but would definitely become one that she used at crucial times. The technique was also unable to be seen by normal eyes due to its natural chakra nature. Most useful during multiple enemies, the young girl can make physical copies of herself. By placing both hands together, she can create three additional versions of herself with ease. Learning how to summon tools, people and animals always seemed to be something that might actually come in handy. The ability to draw something or someone to you with no effort involved and no heavy carrying was amazing. There was also another technique that could summon tools from seals placed on the clothing or on scrolls. It was used to be able to grab any kind of weapon within searching for it in your pouch or even having to pull something like a sword from your back. With a seal on the hand, though she would never wish to go that route, she would block an oncoming attack without moving. - Learned: Expansion -
Physical fighting was another component of her training. It required her to move her arms and legs almost simultaneously in conjunction with her entire body to create simplistic, yet powerful attacks. This was the basis of all fighting and was labeled hand-to-hand. - Learned: Single Action -
By concentration and practice, she achieved multiple different stances and styles of fighting. However, she valued one over all of the others and trained herself to get better at just the one. This could be an issue later, but she was not the type to put so much focus in the physical. She wished to be like her mother and her grandmother when it came to fighting. Throwing punches seemed like a waste of time in the beginning, but the young girl gained speed, dexterity and strength. Fighting another opponent was much more difficult than practicing against her father, sometimes. Using the wrong move got her hurt and caused her to feel incredible pain. She knew that in order to be successful, she needed to constantly plan the next move before she ever made it. Over time this caused her to use less movements and lose stamina, but it made her actions seem simplistic in nature and ridiculed by those she had beaten in the past for having gotten worse. She combined her attacks with simple ninjutsu to deal more damage and set traps to aid her during hand to hand fights. This always got her punished by her father and forced her to hate him, and the clan he was born into. Though she did not lose a fight, she was treated as a cheater. - Learned: Mixing Rounds -
But still, she continued to think about her movements with each practice. She turned weight against opponents and shocked them with lightning. She would turn simple hits and blocks into cutting wind techniques to better her stance and hold her ground. - Learned: Shooter Stance -

Her mother was not a fan of training her daughter to become a full-fledged ninja, but she also wished to see if her daughter could surpass her and thus continued the training that her husband started. Zoe, the young female, would gain a whole new approach to fighting that involved all of the skills she had been learning. It required her to use her head more, but it was also increasing her stamina to move about the practice arena and switch between various skills during a match. After many months she was beginning to seem almost a natural at using the various skills in battle and was sharpening her mind with each encounter. - Learned: Mortar Shell -
Fighting caused her to grow mentally and engage in tests of these skills to alleviate distractions in battle. She eventually learned to open her mind up to surrounding attacks and even learned how to counter multiple people with her skills. It came as no surprise during her training, but she could no longer mirror her mother's fighting style because she always knew what to expect out of her daughter. Zoe would have to change how she fought and resort to starting over from scratch with just her hands and feet. This caused her to become unbalanced with restricting her thinking. - Learned: Loading -
She would still fight using tactics and her skill had obviously improved since the days of training with her father, but using her mind to only fight with her body was harder than she expected. In one training session, she thought about using a short sword, but it was quickly dispatched by her mother using only a shuriken. During each encounter with her mother, Zoe would stick to only using her body to fight with. She found new ways of dealing with the small projectiles her mother used and quickly dodged them within a hair's breath of touching her body. This allowed the young girl to change her method of fighting and engage in anticipating the next move before it was even made. It was extremely hard to do when the opponent could actually vanish into thin air and reappear in another, but it never stopped her from trying. It seemed that nothing was going to occur anytime soon and she needed to move on Konohagakure before it was too late. Eventually there would be an arriving force of some type that seemed to be placing themselves in a path to attack someone. She assumed, because of the short distance, to Konoha, that it would be there. Since there was no way for her to deal with such a force, if there would be a large one, on her own, then it would be required to alert the village and send word to the Uzukage, too.
Zoe would rip a scroll from the pouch on her right hip and slide a scroll out before her. She placed it flat on the ground and performed several hand seals. The bound ninja before her became worried about what might happen next, but she never once made eye contact with him. Once the hand seals were finished, she placed them on the scroll and created a seal for his living body. __ Shouri graduated from the Konohagakure academy half a decade ago and began his journey as a shinobi right when the world was changing. Now, it seemed, that the world was changing again in ways that he did not know of for he was in his true home, the land of fire. This was his family's ancestral homeland and his place of birth. He stood in an open field outside of a forest and felt his feet touching the ground, breathing, hearing the wind blow through the trees. He now pledged his allegiance to a new nation and a new home, the Whirlpool. That was where his family and friends resided and the village was a secure enough place. Chie's leadership seemed so certain to him with the confidence that she carried herself with. He had been away from home with his Jonin sensei for weeks training and trying to unlock his Sharingan. His parents always said that he had a special gift of dual ancestry and that he would have an unparalleled prowess with illusions and fire. Shouri was always proud and perhaps a little too boastful at times, but he had his reasons. He beat everyone in any contest at the academy and would be the next great Uchiha, what else was there to talk about? And yet there was one stain on his pride that he would not abide. It ate away at him every single day. While he knew that he had access to the rare Sakkakugan that he inherited from his mother, he had not yet unlocked his Sharingan. Some of his cousins were already on their second tomoe and he had not even activated the damn thing. Not to mention the fact that he was also a genin with the capabilities of a jonin and needed his teacher to keep babysitting him. Chie had not seen him worthy of advanced titles yet and that was really starting to irritate him.
Shouri was a twenty-two-year-old young man who stood well over six feet and had a naturally muscular and broad-shouldered physique. His bone structure, fiery hair, and steely eyes contributed to plenty of female attention. Seventeen girls had already snatched him up in consecutive ephemeral relationships. Each one grew more frustrated with his built walls than the last. None of them understood him, he reasoned. They would not even want to know the hell that his own mind was putting him through. Each day he felt his identity being torn in two slightly. His mother counseled him that this was the price of the Sakkakugan's power many times, not that he even wanted to believe her. Shouri was a great and strong person and would never falter to the dojutsu's corrupting influence on the mind. This, he reasoned, must be so and he did not need help. However, he felt extremely apprehensive about unlocking the Sakkakugan's power and was far too stubborn to accept his mother's help. She was going through enough and did not need him burdening her. He looked over at his sensei and spoke. "Is there anyone in the village who is high ranking and has the Sakkakugan? The techniques are...very difficult to master." Shouri did not know many of the higher-ups with the exception of Chie and his Jounin teacher of course. He and the Jounin were training far away from home and had not yet received word on the destruction that Kogarashi had wrought on their home.
