A chunk of ceiling fell down and that was enough to make the troll scream in terror. That was so, so close... That could've split his head in two pieces. Taking the wrong step, Cynril fell down the chasm that oh so called him sweetly.

Fletch figured, if they were gonna end up in those damn catacombs a lot, they should ******** pick somewhere that they were gonna fall less. Aka, the basement. Either this point had seemed valid to the current group of adventurers, or they'd just sort of gone with the ******** flow of Fletch bounding off towards the basement.
'course the first thing he did was stand in something awfully sticky and gross, and he shuddered from (bare) toes to tip of his (nubby) horns, letting out a mournful honk.
"Aint no fun stepping in this, I'd avoid this damn section of floor, y'feel me?"

Guo saluted at Fletch's misfortune. Kid should know better than to go barefoot, but Guo kind of envied the gumption. Even if it was stupid. Like, really stupid. But you don't tell a highblood, much less a highblood juggalo, what to do. At least not when you already have a mark on your record.
Being in a creepy basement was fun, though, in its own way. Kind of claustrophobic, but in a way that gave one chills. Honestly it was amazing that these kids' lusii let them go down here, when it was possible everything could collapse on top of them at any time. Guouli was just happy to be along for the ride.

Fletch leaned over, examining something shining, hoping it wasn't more glass shards. As he did, he felt someone push him, and went sprawling in the dirt. Dirt that quickly started to crumble beneath him. He yelped, looking around to grab the pusher and drag them down with him, because what a sneaky ******** UNFAIR MOVE - only to find there was....nobody there. The closest was Guo, but even he was too far away to have pushed him...what the....
(ghosts..?)
Was fletch's last thought as he fell to the catacombs below.

Fletch done did it again, from what he could tell anyway. And Guo was close enough to either do something or let the purpleblooded mutant beef it on his own. But the floor seemed relatively sturdy... Taking the chance with odds seeming somewhat on his side, Guo reached for Fletch, grabbing a leg, hoping to pull him up so he could amiably berate the kid for being so accident-prone.
And that's when the support buckled under the blueblood.

Just them and Mallo now...The ground rumbled beneath them eerily. Probably from the two boys falling down.

Cynril hyperventilated while he was in the basement. Surely the wisest thing to do was going elsewhere to search but, he was so afraid. Afraid of someone uncovering the truth, his identity, killing him off for the blood flowing through his veins. He didn't want that he had vowed he was going to live his life for both his morail and himself.
That gave him a little bit of confidence in himself. He just had to keep going. Looking around cautiously, Cynril found something!
